It is my distinct honor and privilege to recommend GRD Marrek Gunstinson for a Dark Cross. Since joining the Dark Jedi Brotherhood, just a few weeks ago, Marrek’s sustained high level of activity and accompanying accomplishments are beyond reproach. In the past eight days alone he has completed and subsequently passed a staggering eleven Shadow Academy exams to include Wiki Basics, ACC Basics, Obelisk Core, Planets and Stars, IRC Basics, GRMG History, Lightsaber Studies, Advanced Lightsaber Studies, Combat Tactics I, Combat Tactics II, and Hand to Hand Combat. Your efforts culminated in a Dark Maven in Combat which is a highly desired and comparatively rarely earned degree in the DJB.

Certainly, the passing of eleven Shadow Academy courses and a Dark Maven in Combat, in such a short period of time is an accolade worth rewarding, but I would be remise if I did not mention the fact that a majority of those were done, not as part of a larger self serving promotion agenda, but rather to hone your DJB knowledge base for the overall betterment of the club.

As evidence to your altruistic intentions, were your efforts to improve the very courses that you took for those who follow in your footsteps. You were in direct contact with Headmaster Solari identifying discrepancies and formatting issues that he was able to correct based upon your feedback.

Your constant drive to learn and improve upon the systems, processes, and fundamentals of this organization is an example to both Journeyman and Elders alike.

Congratulations on your Dark Cross Marrek. Your hard work has not gone unnoticed.
