Event History

Kord has been a cornerstone of Arcona for many years. Since his last sacramental award, Kord has been busy, participating in a total of 78 competitions earning 26 crescents in varying forms. He has been active in gaming, participating in 10 gaming competitions and securing a number of Clusters of Fire; in fiction, securing 3 Clusters of Ice (for his participation in RP-related activities); and, in graphics, earning 8 Clusters of Graphite.

His most recent accolades were in the GJWVII: Animus, in which he secured 137.41 points for Clan Arcona, demonstrating his puzzling prowess through his 10th place in the Phase I puzzle competition (earning him a Quartz Crescent), and 4th in the Event Long puzzle competition (for which he earned a Diamond Crescent). In addition, Kord was an active and willing member of the Clan, offering encouragement and remaining heavily engaged throughout the event.

I have enjoyed Kord’s support masquerading as dry wit in my time as Quaestor of House Galeres, and look forward to his continued contribution to the Clan in the weeks and months to come.

Luka Zarkot, the powerhouse. The first member of House Galeres to have participated in every event in the GJWVII: Animus. I would intermittently check House participation rates throughout the war, and every time Luka stood out—green ticks all around. They were a huge contributor to the Clan’s war effort, securing a huge 207.47 points for Clan Arcona. They secured a Bronze Nova in their Event Long Audiobook submission, they placed 6th in the ‘Icon of Sin’ Phase I competition, and secured 10th in the Hutt and the Bear Event Long competition. For context, the gap between Arcona and Clan Odan-Urr was approximately 240 points; it is likely that without their contribution, Arcona may have slipped into second.

Their performance in the GJWVII: Animus is only one facet of their activity, however. They have participated in a huge 127 competitions, earning 41 Crescents and their Bronze Nova. They have also racked up a staggering 861 Clusters since their last award. Through this exemplary performance, they have contributed just short of 800k credits to the Clan. They have remained consistent for long periods and wanting for little. It’s funny, but you meet some wonderful people in all walks of life, including within the Brotherhood. Some inspire more than others. Luka is one of those people. They have had a real impact on me (though I expect they don’t realise it). Their quiet determination has given me pause for thought, and has helped me reflect on how I can adopt their approach into my own.

Luka has been a voice of positivity throughout my time as Quaestor of House Galeres, quietly encouraging members across the Clan. It is an honour to be able to contribute to this recommendation for Luka, and thank them for all they have done for Arcona.

Since his last award, Mirus has been an active member of the clan, participating in 18 competitions, securing two Crescents for his activity. He has also been the beneficiary of 8 Clusters of Graphite, and a Cluster of Ice for his RP activity. He has been active in the Shadow Academy, passing 5 courses and securing 3 degrees (quite the pupil), and has continued to move up in a variety of Societies.

Mirus was a contributor to Clan Arcona’s GJWVII: Animus win, contributing 42.196 Points towards the Clan’s total. During this event, he achieved 7th place in the Phase I War Intel competition.

Mirus is a fairly recent returnee following a short hiatus from the club. In his short time back, he has been active, friendly, and willing to contribute. Mirus is another exemplary member of our club, quiet and kind, but with a keen sense of humour once you get to know him. This rubs off on the other members (don’t say anything), and through this Mirus certainly contributed more to the Clan’s GJWXVII: Animus win than the points we have already covered.
