John has been an active force within Odan-Urr and House Hoth, and is truly a joy to have around. I’ve had the privilege of getting to talk to both him and Tally who he joined with, and have been having lots of fun hanging with them in Gaming Chat.

John has earned himself 86 Clusters of Fire, a Crescent with Sapphire Star, and a Crescent with Emerald Star since his last promotion.

Since joining, he’s taken a leap into the Gaming community as a whole to interact with everyone there. I look forward to seeing John’s future adventures within House Hoth and the Brotherhood as a whole. Well done, John!

I’m excited to recommend Blackhawk for promotion — a milestone he’s more than earned through his consistent contributions, steady presence, and the energy he’s brought to Clan Plagueis across so many different avenues of activity.

Since his last advancement, Blackhawk has thrown himself into the life of the club. He’s organized 3 competitions, co-organized another 4, and participated in an impressive 74 more. Out of those, he’s earned 13 placement awards, meaning he placed in about 18% of the competitions he entered. Those placements include a Gold Nova along with 12 Crescents: 1 Diamond, 3 Ruby, 5 Amethyst, 1 Sapphire, and 2 Emerald. That level of consistent success across events shows a member who doesn’t just participate, but competes and excels.

In addition to his competition placements, Blackhawk’s efforts have also been recognized with 2 Grand Crosses and 1 Anteian Cross. These awards highlight the breadth of his overall contributions across different stages of his career. Beyond those service recognitions, Blackhawk has earned a wide spread of activity awards that reflect his consistency and involvement: 1 Pendant of Blood, 496 Clusters of Fire, 19 Clusters of Ice, a Seal of Loyalty, 7 Seals of Wrath, and 2 Seals of Visions.

In addition to competition entries, Blackhawk has been just as dedicated across all realms of activity. In gaming, he’s logged over 80 activities, including 21 PvP matches. In fiction, he’s contributed more than 7,000 words through roleplaying, run-ons, and the ACC — including 5 roleplay sessions totaling 5,060 words and even stepping up as a DM for another 803. He’s also judged in the ACC, adding another layer of service to his record. What stands out most is that Blackhawk hasn’t limited himself to one corner of the Brotherhood. He’s advanced across 16 different society rank-ups, including with the ACC, Envoy Corps, Inquisitorius, Shroud Syndicate, and the GMRG. That breadth of engagement makes him a well-rounded and reliable member, one we can always count on no matter the arena.

In short, Blackhawk exemplifies the qualities we look for at this next stage: active, dependable, versatile, and committed to lifting the Clan forward. He’s shown time and again that he’s not just here for himself but for the success of the whole.

But wait, there’s more! In the few minutes since her last promotion, Nora has continued to be a force that impacts Clan Plagueis at every level. Her continued high activity levels serve to set the example for all of our members, while her work on our leadership team is second to none. In the last few minutes, Nora has been one of our best members in Clan Plagueis.

In all seriousness, Nora is one of the most valued members of the Ascendant Clan. In her time since joining our Clan, Nora has participated in an astounding 1,719 competitions, and she’s earned exactly 1,000 crescents for her placements (yeah, that’s right, a literal millennium of crescents). Those numbers are astounding, but I think they really undersell what Nora has meant to the Brotherhood and Clan Plagueis. Nora has earned 25,639 XP on her various merit awards and sacramentals outside of what was tracked by the website. That means her contributions in Brotherhood level staff positions, in clan and house leadership, and generally working on projects and doing the work that goes on behind the scenes to make our club work alone earned enough XP to exceed that needed to advance to Equite 3. So sure, if you stripped out every bit of activity our site tracks, the work that is consumption and not providing for others, Nora would still be a highly ranked Equite on that work alone.

As I often say, leadership is making sure that everyone else at the party is having a good time even if you might not be. Nora has faced that reality more than most, and continued to work for those around her to make our club a kick-ass party for everyone. This speaks more to the quality of her character than any other metric, and illustrates how valuable her work has been more than any other number on our activity tracker can ever capture.

As such, it makes me exceedingly lucky to put forward Nora for advancement to the rank of Elder. She has demonstrated that she is the kind of member, leader, and in general person that those of us that lead our club need to thank for their efforts at every opportunity. So, in short, thank you, Nora, for everything that you have done here. My congratulations are overdue and also insufficient, but I’m glad to be able to give them all the same.
