Tali Sroka has been a constant presence, contributor, and competitor in the Brotherhood since he joined the club over six years ago. After burning through the early ranks through Knighthood in the course of about three months (and some change), he skipped the usual step as BTL and took the Aedile mantle of House Qel-Droma. Within six months of that, he was made Quaestor, and he has rocked the position ever since, leading his House through 6 Vendettas, and multiple Clan and House-internal events while always maintaining a strong presence as a competitor across the club as a whole.

Since his promotion in April '21, he organized 10 competitions and co-organized another 3, while participating in 146 individual competitions; 166 if one includes brackets and container competitions. Compare that to his career-long record of 55 organized, 14 co-organized, and 548 participations up to 617 with containers/brackets — nearly 100 competitions per year. His work since his last promotion earned him two Sapphire Blades as much for his competitive participation as his skills as a House leader. That quality competition led to 37 placements — a roughly 25% placement rate — including 11 from the Brotherhood-wide Vendettas (4 Gold Novae, 4 Silver, and 3 Bronze out of 55 participations; 100% in each Vendetta). While not the most prolific gamer, pulling in 42 Clusters of Fire and 10 Clusters of Earth, he is a steamroller of fiction: 239 Clusters of Ice from a cumulative 100,243 words of fiction; more than the word count of The Hobbit! Tali rounds that out with a respectable 55 Clusters of Graphite for his graphical efforts. He was awarded a Scroll of Indoctrination for bringing Nicfer Luthol into our ranks, and a Scroll of Foundation for his Shadow Academy efforts in March '21, not only tearing through the coursework, but also providing feedback and corrections on coursework which led to updates to those courses.

While Tali competes at a Brotherhood level and contributes at a Brotherhood level, his longtime love has been his House of Qel-Droma. Even when the job of Consul of Arcona came open, Tali opted to stick with his House and continue its development. Even a cursory look at his Sapphire Blade citations offers an idea of the myriad things he does in the background that is not so easily captured by the site: wiki updates, member motivation, fictional development, and leader development. Save for a few, the majority of Arcona's current leadership found their footing under Tali. It is a phenomenal example that one need not be in the highest leadership levels to have some of the best impact on those around them.

In an administrative capacity, he maintains a running activity spreadsheet which he and his team audit monthly. This not only serves to keep them up to date on awards (prior to XP stealing much of that thunder) and develops leaders by maintaining predictability and accountability, but also facilitates control of the coveted Blind Key of Qel-Droma, which goes to the highest participating members of the House, offering in-character opportunity for shenanigans and out-of-character motivation to be the holder. Similarly, he also assisted in the creation of Arcona's reward for GJW XV, the Crystal Baffler Array, by providing functional concepts and the base image that would later form the actual item image. At the Clan level, he took on the project of revamping the Arconan Expeditionary Forces (AEF), creating both a cost-analysis spreadsheet and organizational proposal from scratch that, after only minor refinement, became the current AEF Ground Forces. He has also more recently made initial proposals for the Dajorran Defense Forces' reorganization that will be an even larger project to add to his resume.

For being in one of the most awkward time zones to be a leader for a primarily American audience and group of counterparts, Tali does a phenomenal job at coordinating and motivating those around him. He is often the calm voice of reason when emotions heat up. If he should ever aim for something outside his powerhouse position as Quaestor, his potential for greatness is unquestioned. Such is my assessment. So to Tali, thank you for all of your hard work; your years of service to Qel-Droma, Arcona, and the Brotherhood; and for always being there when called upon.

Aldaric has been a stable of the DJB for many years, the most recent of which have been within Scholae Palatinae. His is a story of dedication and while home life may take him away from a daily level of engagement he still finds the opportunity to engage with the community.

As an individual Aldaric has contributed to two DC offices (Headmaster and Fist) since his last promotion. A staggering 140 courses graded as a professor and untold volumes of Clusters processed over the year he spent as Praetor to the Fist.

While infrequent due to the demands of caring for his children while his wife travels for work I thoroughly enjoy our chats and look forward to engaging with Aldaric on Scholae Palatinae's 2023 initiatives.

Since promotion, he has graded 140 different SA exams, maintaining an average grading time of only 6 hours, well below the required turnaround of 24 hours. Although the individual courses in his department tend not to be the Academy's busiest, Aldaric's consistent work has made him the fourth-most prolific grader in the club. I remember when Hilgrif joined the Clan back in 2018. My, how time flies. Throughout his tenure in CNS, he has earned the respect of his fellow Clanmates with a solid activity record and a down right likeable demeanor.

Hilgrif spent nearly a year and a half as the BTL of the Nighthawks within House Marka Ragnos. His accolades include participating in nine competitions, Co/Org’ing one comp, completed nine PvP matches, six gaming activities. Earning himself forty-four Clusters, two Seals of Visions and one Seal of Eternity.

Armad has been a valuable member of the Clan for as long as I can remember. I know that he has R/L priorities that require most of his attention. He always seems to return to active duty and gives us his all. Armad has worn many hats within CNS, so it is an honor for me to recognize his accolades.

Since his last promotion Armad has Co/Org’d eleven comps and participated in two hundred and forty three competitions. He put his gaming prowess to the test and compiled a total of fifty three PvP matches and twenty three gaming activities. Adding to his repertoire Armad completed fifteen courses and earned one degree through the Shadow Academy.

During all this time Armad has amassed one Sapphire Blade, two Steel Crosses, eighty six Crescents, six hundred seven Clusters, a Dark Side Scroll, twelve Seals of Wrath, three Seals of Fury, four Seals of Discord and finally four Seals of Visions.

Armad spent ten months as Aedile of House Marka Ragnos yet again contributing to the growth of both House and Clan. During his tenure he help lead HMR through two House events and a GJW It is with great pleasure to recommend Armad for this well deserved promotion!

Trying to sum up all of Liandry's achievements is hard. Not because she doesn't have them, but because there's so many I don't even know where to start.

Do I start with all of the positions she's had since she was last promoted to EQ4 4 years ago? She's had 5 positions. Including as an ACC judge, Magistrate to the HM, two separate stints as Quaestor and a 9 month tenure as the Clan Plagueis Proconsul.

I'll get into her projects in a moment, but I want to start with the numbers, and there's a lot of them. Liandry has participated in 356 competitions since her last promotion. She's organised 28 competitions and co-organised a further 4. In terms of awards, Liandry has earned the following;

Seriously though that is an insane amount of activity. On top of that Occultan has Organized 66 and co-organized another 63. He is tied for second all-time on Sapphire Blades in the club with 4 and held the outright lead until just recently. Two of those i have had the honor of awarding him myself 3 months apart. You read that correctly. He is active enough that he earned 2 Sapphire Blades in a 3-month time span.

He has had a litany of positions over the years in this club and has been in many units. Each one has recognized his abilities as a leader, a contributor, a creator, and a generally pretty awesome guy. Vizsla is no exception to this as he has until just recently led in the most important aspect, activity. Activity is contagious in a unit. When more people are active it tends to rub off on others. Occultan drove that activity from the front, it is what leaders do.

One thing I have appreciated about Occultan is his desire to make things better. He has, when asked, offered his take on how clan events could be better run. Let me know ways I could improve the quality of the Competitions and the Great Hunts in Vizsla. I think this is key for members, honest and constructive criticism is key for improvement. I have from day one appreciated the fact that I know if I ask him what he thinks I get the truth. He doesn’t play diplomate and he always offers suggestions not just telling me I suck. :P

In closing Elders in this club earn it through various ways. Occultan has earned it through most of them. I am glad to be the one who gets to write this up and I want to be the first to say congrats Occultan on another fantastic milestone crossed in the Brotherhood.
