Etah Idanian hasn’t always gelled well with the other members of Arcona, myself included. However, in recent months...I have nothing to say but words of high praise for Etah. During a summit changeover in the middle of the GJW (hardly the most opportune of times) he graciously volunteered to help out as Aedile of Galeres, and I have not looked back on that decision in the slightest. He has put out prompt reports, been a valuable point of reference for all things Galeres, has been assigned numerous administration tasks by Timeros which he has executed with maturity and proficiency, and what’s more, he’s held the banner for Arcona once more through a GJW, showing the kids how it’s done. However, before we jump into his GJW activity, I’d also like to mention what an exceptional member he was during the Black Tempest event just prior to the GJW, in which he was a driving force for the RO, posting several times to keep the plot moving. <br><br> Now, his GJW performance. He posted in the RO several times, Participated in the Recon Fiction, Sector Sketch Graphics, Effects of War Graphics, Chasing the Ghost Fiction, Helpless Poetry, Know Your Enemy Graphics, Potent Ink Poetry and Know Your Allies Graphics. In addition to participating in this laundry list of fiction and graphic activity, he was also the single reason we won the first Battleplan, bringing his RL knowledge of military doctrine into our BP and giving us an exceptional format and layout, as well as a tactically sound plan. His efforts were similar in the second BP, and our placing in that event in no way detracts from the amount of work he put in. Etah is long, LONG overdue a promotion for consistent loyalty to Arcona over the years, as well as a recent blossoming of activity as Aedile of Galeres. Taigikori Aybara 5829 to EQ3 Though well-known how superb Taig's activity during the Ninth Great Jedi War was (he talked about it all the time), I am going to talk about Taig's superb activity in the Shadow Academy, activity he continued to uphold even while juggling various events during the vendetta. Taig's last promotion was in December, he was elevated from Magistrate to my Praetor, something I have never regretted, and he has proved countless times over how invaluable his services are. He helped convert the Dark Vault information into a Wiki article, as well as revamp the main Shadow Academy article. He's helped proofread various courses that will be released over the next few months, and is always coming to me with new ideas (many of which will be made public in the coming months). He has also been invaluable with helping out with ideas for the SA fictional updates, a new idea that we continue to improve upon. Taig is the perfect Praetor. Quick on responses and always willing to give his thoughts, he is my second-brain, doing everything I ask better than I could have hoped for. He provides insight on EP selections (and firings), new courses, new degrees, and helped beta test the new SA PHP site. He has also always been willing to step in when an EP goes on a LoA and pick up the grading slack, to make sure members get results as fast as possible. Most importantly, during the last GJW he help make sure that members received results on their degrees immediately, especially in times when my school work kept me from getting online. This last part is perhaps the biggest and most appreciated accomplishment, since we received a huge influx of requests the last few days of the vendetta, but Taig stayed cool (mostly) and processed them. The Shadow Academy GJW event was extremely successful, and this is due, in large part, to the time and effort put in my Taigikori. It is for his hard work as Praetor, and his eight extra mile-efforts to help out the Shadow Academy during the Great Jedi War, that I recommend Taigikori for this promotion ~ Dark Side Adept Aabsdu di Plagia Dupar; Headmaster of the Shadow Academy<br><br> Taigikori was a windfall Arcona has been incredibly lucky to stumble on. He joined us as a Quaestor and served in that capacity with distinction for just under 7 months, always putting out prompt competitions, helping his members settle in and have activities to do, for example just prior to the GJW he ran a JO training scheme. He gelled instantly with the rest of the summit and hardly ever caused waves (something of an oddity in Arc =P) and on many an occasion provided me with invaluable Counsel. He established the Ventrilo servers for Arcona, which was a useful tool for off-the-cuff summit meetings and generally socialising with other members of Arcona and the larger Brotherhood. I’ve lost count of the number of SA tests he’s passed (something like 15), and it is almost with reluctance that I move on to start writing down what he did in the GJW, as it’s hardly a small amount. <br><br> In addition to his superb service as Praetor to the Headmaster, which my colleague has already surmised, he was a force to be reckoned with in Arcona. He has participated in every Trivia Raken threw at us(1st in Week 1, 3rd in Weeks 3 & 4), often placing within the top ten. He participated in the Co-Op ACC event, In Whose Favour Gaming, the Flash Game event, and placed 1st in Skirmish 1 Gaming, 3rd in Elimination Gaming and 5th in Mistaken Identity and Adept killers Gaming. Obviously, with the final scores as close as they are, without Taigikori, Arcona would not have come anywhere near 1st Place.
