Elevation Request: Dark Jedi Knight Jedi Hunter Vivackus Kavon (9219)

Vivackus Kavon has been my student for quite some time now, and he has gone above and beyond the duties of an Apprentice. Throughout his Apprenticeship, he has not only worked to complete promotion requirements that were in a constant state of change, but he has fought to adapt and improve himself under conditions that crush most Journeymen.

Since the time Vivackus came into Clan Plagueis and began his climb through the Brotherhood’s time-tested rank structure, he has worked to push the limit and further himself and his Clan. When told he had to write one fiction for a promotion, he would go out and compete in competitions that he didn’t need, just to improve his skills. When he needed more skills for run-ons and the like, he sought me and others out for experience and practice. All of this pales in comparison to the sheer adaptability and endurance he has had as a member of Clan Plagueis.

For almost all of its relatively short history, Clan Plagueis has been a place of grand heights followed by horrible drops, a place where the activity level and the leadership backbone fluctuated like the tide in a hurricane. Even in this state, he has refused to give up. Even when almost everything he had to his usage was gone, he held out until the storm had passed. Having had to wait for a time when a new Consul essentially implants a new Clan in the place of a corpse, Vivackus has proven his mettle and strove to adapt to the changes and push forward through the grit, the nonsense, and the utter foolishness of how this Clan has fluctuated. He has climbed the ladder even as it changed in length and design, taken each step of ever-shifting requirements, and it is this that shows he has finally earned elevation to Dark Jedi Knight. Congratulations, Vivackus.

I am honored to preside over Vivackus' ascension to the rank of Dark Jedi Knight. Where he shall turn his back on the Journeymen ranks and look forward to the tumultuous, hard-earned ranks of the Equite Class. His competitive edge has been honed by discipline and I know he will go forth to do great things as a leader and role model.

Since his last elevation, Vivackus has fulfilled the requirements set forth by the Master At Arms. He has spent more than six weeks at his current rank, earned a merit award, collected a crescent, participated in over fifteen competitions, completed both Leadership courses (General & Fundamentals), created and ran multiple competitions and completed a major task for his Clan Summit. In the same time, he has collected sixteen crescents (4 Cr-A, Cr-S, 3 Cr-E, 2 Cr-T, 6 Cr-Q), three (3) Clusters of Fire, a Legion of the Scholar, nine (9) Seals of Remembrance, a Dark Cross and an Anteian Cross. Additionally, he has earned his first Dark Side Degree (Dark Maven: Philosophy), ran three additional competitions (and started two new ones as a BTL), posted his first leadership report, created his Wiki page (http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/wiki/index.php?title=Vivackus), written his lightsaber creation fiction, participated in five Antei Combat Center matches (W-L record of 4-1),

For his Clan Summit task, Vivackus served as a Consul's Aide. During his internship, he learned how to run an AWOL, draft and send weekly mentorship e-mails, write recommendations, propose/award competitions, differentiate between what is deserving of a promotion and that which deserves a medal, audit clan mailers, answer new member questions and other Envoy-related tasks. In each of these tasks he was asked to perform a practical demonstration of his mastery; learning from his successes as much as his failures and repeat attempts. Additionally, he assisted me in redefining the parameters for giving Battle Teams more fictional depth in creating position duties. Great work, Viv! Keep it up!

Good day, Masters.

I come before you as Quaestor of House Caliburnus to bring Guardian Asani Vosa into the light as a prospective member for promotion to Jedi Hunter.

Asani has been in Caliburnus for the length of my stay there, and I have always been impressed by her inventiveness and attitude towards her work. She has always striven for excellence, and has posted many ideas to me, quite a few of which I have used. One of her moments of ingenuity was the creation of a group known as the Caliburnus Analyst Unit. She was the main brains behind it and even wrote a long fiction using this group.

I find myself turning to Asani for suggestions or advice on House projects, and she has always been ready to give them. Along these lines, she has been a major participant in my recent projects, and my current one, she jumped at the chance to help. I’m a lucky QUA to get a member this dedicated, and active.

So, it is my opinion that Guardian Asani Vosa is worthy of an elevation to the rank of Jedi Hunter, and I request that you make it a reality.

Ronovi has met the requirements for promotion to Dark Jedi Knight, as mandated by the Master at Arms. Her master, Doni Tzu, has voiced his full support for this promotion, and the clan summit is in agreement.

Along the way, Ronovi has provided great service to her houses and her clan. She has been active in numerous competitions on all levels, including winning the most recent monthly topic. She has been a spectacular addition to the clan’s run-on efforts, among other things. She served capably as the battleteam leader of Arcano Signum before agreeing to transfer to House Cestus to become the aedile.

For her major task, Ronovi spearheaded the efforts of organizing the current big competition between Cestus and Gladius. She also created (and continues to maintain) a top rate wiki article (she was the featured article in September 2008). She completed fifteen pages of fiction for her master, on top of numerous other writing projects.

Ronovi has worked tirelessly to help get Cestus, and Tarentum as a whole, more active. She is most certainly a rising star in Clan Tarentum, and the Brotherhood as a whole. The only limit to how far she will go will be herself. I look forward to seeing Ronovi progress even further and for her continued activity in the Brotherhood.
