It is my honor at this time to request the ascension of Pertinax Yadar Mandalore to the rank of Dark Jedi Knight. Yadar has been my apprentice going on 6 months now and has completed all of his terms for promotion. His trials have included participation in a number of competitions spanning from Battleteam to DJB wide and within a timely manner. When I first recieved Yadar as an apprentice my goal was to see what he was capable of long term. To see if he would accept responsibility within the Brotherhood, he has done this by being my sounding board when I was SGT of Banshee Brigade. He helped refine many ideas I had for the positions within the Brigade, he has also accepted running the Weekly Clan Trivia.

In the year since Yadar was last promoted he has recieved several Crescents for qualifying in many competitions, almost 300 Clusters of Fire, A Legion of the Scholar, Dark Cross, Eight Seals of Pain, and a Bronze Nova for placing 3rd in a GJW event. While he has several issues that I will suggest for him to work on in the future, I believe Yadar to be a boon to his Clan and the Brotherhood as a whole. Due to all of this I request that Yadar proceed to the armory to recieve his lightsaber and DJK robes for his knighting ceremony.

After a little less than a year, I'd like to promote Pertinax Yadar Mandalore to the rank of Dark Jedi Knight. Yadar is constantly gaming, racking up close to 300 Clusters of Fire. Yadar also participates in competitions. He received 11 Crescents (3 Sapphire, 3 Emerald, 1 Topaz, 4 Quartz). Pertinax also ran/runs the CSP Trivia, and has, for that, received a Legion of the Scholar. Yadar also received a Dark Cross for his work in the recent Great Jedi War, in addition to a Bronze Nova and 8 Seals of Pain. Up until its disbandment, Yadar was on the Dark Voice staff for a period of about 2 months.

As a Wookie, Yadar is always on IRC, helping newer members with their gaming issues. He is always up for a game and will try his hardest to beat you. Dedication like that in a member is essential to helping that member to grow. Pertinax will always try to answer questions, and if he is unaware of the answer, will direct the member to someone who knows. I believe Yadar is ready to enter into the realm of true Dark Jedi and become a Dark Jedi Knight and create his own lightsaber.

Congratulations, Yadar, this is well deserved, and long overdue.

Greetings, noble ones;

I bring for your consideration today the work of Protector Asani Vosa.

Per my established Task List, she has completed every one. To be specific, these are the tasks that she has accomplished:

• SA Run-On Course, completed successfully.
• Master's Task Alpha. This task was to attempt to get a custom weapon approved for use by the Combat Master for use in the ACC. Although she was unable to get the weapon approved, she worked really hard to meet the standards of the Combat Master and significantly refined her work from when she started. 145 words and a graphic submitted.
• PCON's Task. ProConsul Lucien Kaeth had assigned Asani the task of reorganizing the various Legions of the Clan. This task required a lot of time, research, writing skills, and wiki know-how. She submitted her final work to the ProConsul, and he was quite satisfied with her work. 1,856 words.
• Compete in any one official competition that involves writing. Asani had successfully completed two such entries, one for the April Journeymen Competition for April (906 words), and the other was for the Independence Games, the event titled, "A Picture Says...". The Journeymen entry was actually quite good.

For these tasks, I believe that Asani is ready to assume more responsibility within the Clan as a Guardian. I thank you for your time in this matter.

To Asani, congratulations and well-deserved! Now to start work on Hunter! =)

Randar has completed the minimum requirements for Novice by being very active both via e-mail and on Internet Relay Chat. In addition he signed up for an account at Tal.net and is already looking for gaming competition in the appropriate channel. I believe this merits an elevation to Novice. Congratulations, Randar! Jerse has done a fine job for Taldryan since his last promotion and I believe it is time for him to begin the road to Knighthood. He has shown good activity in a wide variety of forms for which he should gain recognition. Since his last elevation Jerse has completed at least five Shadow Academy exams, participated in at least six competitions (not including the IGs), and maintained good communication, mostly via e-mail.

In addition he is about to wrap up his Internship in House Dinaari where he has learned many things about DJB and Taldryan leadership. Part of his duties in the Internship included running a House-level competition (which had a decent turnout), keeping an activity-tracking record book, and he will be publishing a sample report before his internship is completed in a day.

With his good communication with the House and Clan Summits, good overall activity, and an Internship in the First Clan of the Brotherhood, Jerse Remid has earned his promotion to Jedi Hunter. Congratulations! We look forward to your Knighting down the road ...
