Orv's held on the Dark Brotherhood website has improved the experience of every member of the Dark Brotherhood. Over the past few weeks Orv has been instrumental in ensuring the early release of the website. Without Orv's last second coding we would not have our website design at this moment. Congrats Priest!

Orv is a renaissance man. The man can code, the man can draw, the man can write. If we find out that he can game well, the DB might implode on itself. In the last month, Orv has produced a wicked cool DB artwork gallery, complete with rating system and comment features, and also proven instrumental in the newest Odyssey layout for the main site. Orv:

My journey in programming webpages has had a few eye-opening experiences where I've learned something that took me to another level. With Orv on the SCL staff, the amount that I have learned in the past six months has quadrupled all that I knew prior. Orv is a spectacular coder who knows how to make scripts do exactly what the need to with the least amount of effort expended. His skill set matches wonderfully with Sil's and mine.

Orv is single-handedly responsible for making the "wow" factor of the website increase so much lately. The introduction of the jquery library to help with effects has revolutionized the way we approach scripts. He introduced an easy way to build Ajax scripts, giving me the tools to make the dossiers lightweight and updateable. He has also recently introduced an awesome templating system that, once implemented, will make the DB site much easier to work with.

Orv is great to work with, open to questions and critiques, and can't be beat with regards to coding skill. He's a true asset.

The simple recommendation for Xia Long can be found in the very make up of the Dark Brotherhood website. Xia Long's contributions look us in our face every time we log on and we are all in her debt for the improvements and evolution she has contributed to the Dark Brotherhoood website.

Sildrin:

Seneschal is one of the hardest positions in the Brotherhood. Most people have no clue what it takes to program anything, let alone something the size of the Brotherhood website. With so much depending on the coders, the task of being SCL can be overwhelming. Sildrin, however, handles her position wonderfully.

A constant source of great coding and great feedback, Sildrin has been at the heart of many new projects for the DB and is actively helping her staff in their projects. Recently she has started a great new effort of keeping communication going between her staff and because of that, things have worked much better.

Despite a newborn and a husband to attend to in real life, Sildrin has dedicated a large portion of her time to coding. She enjoys it, which makes her a pleasure to work with. There are few people I'd rather be working with.

hen discussing Sildrin, people always think that she doesn't do much. And to say that she works 'behind the scenes' isn't enough for most people. I could go on for hours about what I personally have had her help me with, from helping code in new saber options for the ranks of the brotherhood when i was Herald, to the drastic stuff like site overhauls and the seriously wicked stuff that everyone will see and love soon enough. The amount of time she spends on coding, these things that we take for granted, is insane. Furthermore, She has a willingness to help, to dig in and grind stuff out for us that is incredible. Where for most of us, coding is a chore... and a painful one at that, for Sil it is a fun sort of challenge. For this sort of dedication, for rising to meet the challenges of this over-imaginative Dark Summit, and for being fun and friendly as she does so, I am more than pleased to reccommend Sildrin Sadow, the Blind Dragon, for a promotion to Krath Pontifex. ~ Muz Keibatsu Sadow, Sith Lord
