Since his last promotion he has gained in strength as member of his House and Clan. He has earned himself an impressive amount of awards from his activity within Night Hawks, as well as one of a few to take part in the Clan's gaming competition. I quickly realized this Dark Jedi was destined more for life of a Guardian and set him a Quaestor Major Task for him to do, as well as find suitable Master for him to pair off with (in the form of Priest Tyren Atema). His task was to write an essay comparing two fan made lightsaber battles, Ryan vs. Dorkman and Ryan vs. Dorkman 2, and explain the difference between the two battles. Scuslem was able to point out the types of lightsaber styles used in both battles as well as the difference between the two battles that I too had noticed when I watched them. In the first one, Ryan (Light Jedi) was fighting Dorkman (Dark Jedi), and in the second battle it basically two Dark Jedi going at it. Knowing the difference between Light Jedi and Dark Jedi is a core understanding for all members, atleast from a fictional point. There is nothing more that Scuslem can learn as a Guardian. While perhaps not the most common method of promotion to Novice, Drichar has shown an immediate interest in the Brotherhood and its activities. Almost immediately after I received the notice of his transfer to the clan, I receive a notice of his passing of History of the Sith Empire I.

Such quick results show promise. For both his passing of the exam and the effort that he showed in completing it so soon, I believe Drichar should be promoted to Novice.

Alaris is proving to be a promising young dark sider. Since his last promotion he has completed five Shadow Academy courses all with scores over 90 and achieved a Dark Maven in History. He has competed in 6 competitions placing in all of them, been accepted into the ACC as a Neophyte, joined and been active in a battle team and regular contributes to email and IRC conversations. He has written 3 very detailed additions to his character history on his Wiki, adding events for his childhood, early teen years and late teen early adult years, as well as taken the time to write three character histories for fictional players in the Clan's dealings. Alaris is fast approaching his right of passage and has the makings of a fine Hunter.

Guardian Caedes stood in a dark room with a single shaft of light flowing down onto him. The darkness outside of the light was impenetrable. Darkness is infinite, the Guardian thought to himself.

"That is correct, young one," came a voice from the void somewhere near the Guardian. "You have reached a certain plateau in your training, a place where you may either embrace the darkness or reject it. The decision is one you should not make lightly."

"I understand," said the Guardian, a bit shaken but not visibly so.

The Guardian knelt down and focused on his shadow beneath him. It seemed to be struggling though the Guardian remained unmoving. Suddenly the shadow lifted from the ground and floated before the Guardian in a liquid-like blob. As though taking a ball he threw his shadow straight up toward the source of the light. When the ball of a shadow reached the zenith it exploded and blotted out the light.

The Guardian could feel the presence of his shadow returning in the darkness and reached spoke out.

"I am ready."

"Indeed you are, Guardian Caedes." A voice rang, and for the Guardian the darkness seemed to lift and he could discern the outlines of bodies around him, as he stood one of the figures called out to him.

"Light is limited."

"Darkness is infinite," was the Guardian's reply.

"Stand now, a Jedi Hunter," chorused the figures around the new Jedi Hunter.

"ARCONA INVICTA!"

Caedes came to us as a person who showed great great ambition and drive. These were two of the qualities that swayed me when I chose him as the newest leader of Blue Mist team and they are ones which have helped him to progress to this point where he is ready to embrace the darkness further and move closer still to Knighthood. Acolyte Legorii stood quietly on the stage in the meeting hall of HIS House in front of the entirety of the House along with friends and allies HE had made throughout the Clan.

HIS Rollmaster, SW Rho d'Tana, who was appointed by the QUA to speak, rose from his seat on the stage and the soft conversations diminished to silence.

"Acolyte, you have proven yourself yet again and have come to this place to be recognized in front of your brethren. Is this correct?"

"Yes Master." The Acolyte spoke and bowed.

"Then kneel." The Rollmaster spoke as the Acolyte acknowledged the request and took a knee before his Rollmaster.

"Today, House GALERES recognizes Acolyte Legorii at the request of HIS Master to be promoted the rank of Protector. At this time I call upon this one's master, Dark Side Adept Strategos Thanatos Entar Arconae. Please come forward and give witness to this elevation in rank."

From a seat in the crowd a Dark Jedi rose, with HIS hood raised and strode to the stage.

The Acolyte's Master bowed his head to the Summit. "As Acolyte Legorii's master I hear by attest to this one's successful completion of the tasks laid before HIM.

The Rollmaster and Master Strategos extended their hands and formed shadows that joined together and veiled the Acolyte.

"Apprentice," The master spoke.

"Yes, my master?"

"You are becoming more powerful with every passing hour. It is my honor to bestow upon you, along with your Rollmaster, the rank of Protector."

"Light is limited." spoke the Rollmaster.

"Darkness is infinite" Said the Acolyte.

"Then as such Protector Legorii rise and accept your new station within your house."

The applause was thunderous as the newly elevated Protector rose and faced his brothers. He raised his arm and shouted.

"ARCONA INVICTA!"

I would hereby like to request a promotion for Acolyte Legorii, who has currently and originally fulfilled all requirements according to his Master.

Legorii has fulfilled all of these requirements, as follows:

• Not only has he joined a Battleteam, as the Guidelines ask, but he is second in command of Blue Mist under Sergeant Caedes, as well as Weapons Chief. He has done a lot of work with Caedes and getting the BT more active, being one of two participants in the motto and base competitions. He placed second and third in the motto competitions, submitting four entries. For this he was awarded a Crescent with an Amethyst Star. He also co-planned the practice Run-On for Blue Mist only, and so far have been the only participant aside from the Sarge. SO he is working hard in Blue Mist, hoping to build a name in the DB for the "Cavalry".

• he hs participated in quite a few competitions, despite only having won three awards. He was not given an award for winning the base competition with the entry of Dantooine, and he was not given awards for a few (three I think) of the earlier competitions, just before the GJW. This was supposedly because he was the only participant.

• He is active on IRC, and I would say a good amount of people know his name. Maybe not all the higher ups, but he has crossed swords so to speak with members of all the clans, and despite playful competitiveness, they are on good terms.

• During the GJW, despite not having the gaming platforms being competed on, he placed in the Fiction ladder.

• He has taken 14 Shadow Academy exams. Only 13 have been passed, as the 14th was submitted just few hours ago. But thats the Obelisk Core as he recently switched Orders to accommodate his position on an Obelisk Battleteam. Of these exams are Conflict Mediation, HTML Basics, Sith Core, and many more. But his favorite was the Chamber of Justice exam (He is 1 of 35 to pass) and he passed with flying colors.

• He has filled out his Character Sheet, History, basically everything on his dossier. He has also taken his qualifying battle, but was unfortunately crushed by Dalthid.

• And finally, He has a great Master.

He strives to be the best he can be and so, as Legorii has completed all of these guidelines, and more, I would like to respectfully request HIS promotion to Protector.

I agree wholeheartedly that Legorii has done more than enough for a promotion. He is developing into an extremely useful member of the House who has the added benefit of being a nice person to boot. Keep up the good work and you will go far.
