Primary reason: In eleven days since becoming a Protector, Melvin has shown eagerness to pass every barrier thrown at him by the Trial of the Sun tasked by his master, Angelo Dante. His growth in gaming is phenomenal, earning 26 CFs in a little over a week. With these comes wins that show not only is his activity steadily increasing, but also his skill.

He has studied the basics of leadership, early sith history, and also show proficiency in how a run-on works. All this was done promptly and efficiently at the Shadow Academy. In excess of all this, Melvin is learn much as he has begun his qualification battle for the ACC.

He is an example of what is required of a Journeyman, and only more can be expected. He has submitted to several competitions, and even earned a third place in a writing competition for his house against fierce competition, earning him his first crescent. This is more impressive from a young Obelisk. As a leader of his house, I have zero doubt about his abilities and readiness for the rank of Guardian. Congratulations Melvin.
