Since his last promotion some two years ago, the artist colloquially known as Kris has been a steady source of activity and helpful assistant to the various chambers of the DC. For three months, he’s served as Magistrate to the Fist, for nine months the same for the Herald’s office, and currently have a running three-month tenure as Praetor to the Herald, showing his continued commitment to the club as a whole!

On a unit level, Kris has (co-)organized five competitions and participated in a whopping 109! For these efforts, he’s earned a grand total of 17 Crescents of various denominations and a literal mountain of 712 Clusters! During Vendettas, he’s not sat idly by either, as his combined 30 Seals and three Novae can attest to.

Kris has also passed seven Shadow Academy courses and earned a pair of shiny new degrees, which must go pretty nicely with the Grand Cross in the award cabinet.

As part of House Qel-Droma and Arcona, Kris has remained an enthusiastic participant in our daily activities and channels, chipping in with topics both light-hearted, memeriffic, and sober. As someone who also speaks their mind on matters dear to me, I appreciate Kris’ candor and genuine desire to improve Arcona and the club as a whole—a task I remain confident he will continue to strive toward in the future as well!

Upon reaching a ‘comfortable’ level within the Brotherhood, especially the high-Equites, there is a real danger of getting a bit too comfortable as activity plateaus and interest may shift. As such, it is with great delight that I can say Kris has not fallen into the trap of mere existence, but continues to give back to the Club and Clan with copious amounts of spare time—that most precious of resources.

Taken together, I am proud to recommend Kris to be promoted to the final Equite rank, a rung on the ladder he has well and duly earned the right to climb.

Since his last recognition nine months ago Kris, or as he goes by his dossier Jael has served the Herald Office with pure diligence. He has been responsible for the creation of seven (7) Custom dossier weapon skins and three (3) Selector dossier skins (compiled of ninety (90) individual images)). Kris/Jael further assisted in the creation of a custom Warbanner image summing it up all together to almost one hundred unique images he created for the Herald office.

His dedication further led me to appoint him to the position of Praetor within the Herald Office where he keeps up with taking care of the day-to-day affairs of the Office such as reviewing and handling Avatar and Competition requests.

He's also a steady voice on the Brotherhood's art channel on Discord, providing feedback on various topics or posting personal artwork to further the growth of the community.

I'll leave it to others to discuss Drac's work in other roles (P:GM, RHoJ and LHoJ, PCON, M:MAA); suffice it to say that he's been busy since his last promotion. His work as Fist has been impeccable and truly unrivaled.

"Unprecedented" is the best word to describe Drac's third term as Fist. He is the longest serving Fist by a wide margin and also the only person to ever hold the same Dark Council position three times. More importantly, he used his third term to implement the largest changes to DB gaming since the introduction of mobile games and CEs last decade.

First, he introduced "casual gaming," a hugely successful innovation, which permits members to earn clusters for any games they play together as long as those games have scoring screens to permit match verification. Next, he effectively put the maimed corpse of PvP out of its misery by eliminating it as we'd known it for years: no longer bound by strict matchmaking rules, the "new" PvP is easy to arrange and awards clusters evenly regardless of win or loss. He also he decoupled the GMRG leaderboard from the GMRG society, making it easier for dedicated gamers to reach the top ranks of the society without having to win the leaderboard.

He accomplished all of that in under six months.

Elder promotions can seem mysterious and unattainable; they can seem to take literally years of work at high levels. Drac's achievements in his third term show that you can have a major impact in a relatively short time, and that reaching our highest ranks is as much, if not more, about the quality of a member's contributions as the quantity or duration of those contributions.

Drac, you've earned this. Congratulations!

There is so much that can be said about Drac as both a member and a person. I have been graced with the opportunity to serve with Dracaryis for many years and lucky enough to call him a friend. Being afforded a front row seat, I've watched as he has weathered much in his time and always manages to rise above it. His time as a Hand of Justice under me was short, but he was adamant about his role and steadfast in his commitment to the club.

And that is who he is. Drac is committed to bettering any position he steps into. He also learns. This can be seen through his willingness to take on the position of Fist multiple times, even temporarily, and always able to step up when called upon. He looks at the numbers as they truly are and makes the hard calls, no matter what perception it might bring. Not many can make the call knowing the vitriol that might come their way. It makes people hesitate. But not Drac.

I've seen him continue to push forward and participate in critical discussions with the rest of the DC, going so far as to champion the "Casual Gaming" queue upon his most recent return to Fist. It has adapted gaming to meet the eclectic and often short-lived gaming that members participate in. I include myself in that. Quite often a game will only have a shelf-life of a few weeks before the various groups move on to another platform. And that's okay...because we have the Casual Queue for that. Anything with a longer life-span gets the dedicated treatment that our Star Wars games receive.

I could waste many a paragraph more just talking about the kind of person Drac is, but I'd be preaching to the choir. Anyone who knows him can attest to his stature. His quality. I'm just glad to be able to speak to it.

Ronovi Tavisaen has been the very definition of toiling away in the Dark Brotherhood leadership and activity mines at various times over the last decade plus. In fact, they've been at the game so long that most of those who served above them in leadership capacities have long since retired or been put out to pasture in some manner or another. That does not, however, take away from the absolutely impressive service record as a competitor and as a leader that they have put together in that time.

Figuring out just how many competitions Ronovi has entered since their last promotion was in and of itself a bit of an archeological expedition all on its own. Through a thorough and exhaustive count (since the database doesn't actually provide reliable data from that far back), it has been found that Ronovi has participated in a staggering 486 competitions. Those competition entries have returned 146 total competition awards in the form of 14 Gold Novae (Ronovi is #1 in lifetime Gold Novae awards earned as well), 4 Silver Novae, 11 Bronze Novae, and 4 Diamond, 18 Ruby, 42 Amethyst, 40 Sapphire, 5 Emerald, 7 Topaz, and 1 Quartz Crescents. They've piled up an impressive amount of fiction activity in the form of over 42,000 words of fiction along with nearly 25,000 words across Run-On posts and taken home 142 Clusters of Ice. Ronni would never consider themselves a gamer, but they somehow accumulated 1,031 clusters of Earth and 9 Clusters of Fire over 10 PvP matches and 92 Gaming Activities. I've seen some very fun graphical entries from Ronovi over the years, and those bright in 42 Clusters of Graphite. Ronni has taken on mentoring roles over the years that granted a pair of Scrolls of the Master. And, of course, going along with all of those aforementioned Novae comes 93 Vendetta seals of 7 different varieties.

Even more importantly has been their leadership work. Ronovi was serving as Praetor to the Headmaster upon their last promotion, a position of service that continued for another four months until Ronovi was advanced to the position of Headmaster. I served with them during that time and saw firsthand the work that Ronovi did. Course cleanups and audits, managing a disparate and sometimes challenging staff, launching new courses where some still remain in use to this day without significant revision. That three quarter tour as Headmaster did much to keep a steady tiller for the Academy as an institution, even as some in leadership questioned its ongoing value. What Ronovi has done since for Plagueis has also merits recognition. The value that was provided by their leadership tenures, both of them, has been much needed for the Ascendant Clan. Ronni's second go at the work of leading Plagueis is one without many comparisons. A year as Proconsul backed up with two years as Consul made for an unparalleled level of leadership consistency that has not often been seen in Plagueis. Overseeing significant advancement through Lore and running several Clan events made sure that members had content to consume. Ronovi has served as the primary organizer of 96 competitions and the co-organizer on a further 25 since their last advancement, concrete numbers to illustrate their continued work as a producer for the members that they have led. All in all, their continued excellence has seen Ronovi awarded with one Ruby Scepter, one Amethyst Kukri, two Sapphire Blades, three Anteian Crosses, and three Dark Crosses over the time since they were promoted to Equite 4.

By any metric, Ronovi has made laudable contributions to both Clan Plagueis and the Dark Brotherhood as a whole over the years. They have served as a mentor to leaders, both past and present, that have helped build the Brotherhood into what it is today. I myself learned at their feet in many ways, both as a member during their tenure leading Tarentum and as Praetor working more directly. This has been a long time coming, but I am at least thankful to be the one who sits down and puts pen to paper, as it were, to finally make this happen. This recommendation does what it can to serve as the thanks of a grateful Consul, Clan, and Brotherhood.
