Shikyo is one of CNS' most active members. Since his last promotion he has worked as ACC Judge, Aedile, House Envoy, and is now QUA of House Marka Ragnos. He is a great all round member, a good gamer with a stream of CFs, a great writer with 13 Crescents since his last promotion for placing in and winning competitions, and is a regular participant in email debates and IRC.
During the GJW he worked hard for his clan earning one of CNS highest point scores and several Novae and also lead his House's efforts in the recent House Feud scoring by far the most points in that. He has earned several merit medals including a Grand Cross and a Sapphire Blade for his hard work in the ACC. As AED and now QUA he has also worked hard to improve his House developing existing systems and working with the the Clan and Ludo Kressh Summits on projects and ideas.
Shikyo is a valued and respected member of his Clan and the Brotherhood with a great future, and I am happy to recommend him for promotion to Sith Battlemaster

I have watched Shikyo grow into the leader that he is today. He strives to ensure activity
within his house, mentoring to his newer members on a regular basis and maintaining a strong apperance on IRC to be available to them as much as possible. He has actively partcipated in every vendetta, whether major or minor, leading his house and his clan with great example. He continually strives to improve things within in his house making for a better Clan Naga Sadow and is a pivotal leader among his clan. Sith Warrior Shikyo 'Ruroni' Keibatsu has more then earned the promotion to Sith Battlemaster.

There are various ways to decribe Shikyo. Strong, motivated and intelligent. Since my beginnings in House Marka Ragnos, Shiyko has been my leader. He'd always be quick to give me advice, and to answer my questions, and I appreciated him for it. When Thorin resigned from QUA of HMR, Shikyo took up the mantle of that as well, and picking an excellent AED. Shikyo only improved when he reached QUA, he's still quick with his mail, and getting on IRC more than ever. He's truely dedicated, and the recent RoS has proved that more than anything. Congrats Shikyo, good luck in the future!

Since his last promotion on 7/19/06, Shikyo has performed remarkably well, giving outstanding service to his Clan. He has earned: Three CrE, Seven CrS, One CrT, Four DSS, Two Silver Novas, a Gold Nova, a Sapphire Blade, 23 Clusters of Fire, 12 Seals of Duplicity, a Seal of Loyalty, 4 LoS, 2 Anteian Stars, 2 Grand Crosses and a Scroll of Indoctrination and passed one additional SA course.
This is impressive, indeed. In fact, this tally does not account for his activities in the current RoS2, which were considerable. He also serves well as a leader in this Clan, including excellent service as a Sergeant, Aedile of HMR, and later Quaestor of same. I find him to be motivated, and instrumental in making his House and Clan a good place to be. His cheery demeanor is always welcome, and his participation in many run-ons is much appreciated.
In summary, he deserves to be promoted to the rank of Battlemaster for his outstanding work, attitude, and leadership abilities.

Oh Mifune. Yeah, I call him Mifune because I like to call people by their original DB name. Anyways, poor Mifune. You see, Mifune was a Quaestor in Clan Arcona, and when he came here, we had (and still have) a policy that sort of says, "When you join CNS you're going to have to wait in line no matter what your position used to be." And Mifune patiently waited. In fact, I kinda felt bad because he was very eager and I figured he'd make a good Quaestor one day. And then he finally got the Aedile position in House Marka Ragnos. However, the Quaestor at the time resigned after a month, and Mifune did not get that position. Instead, it was given to the Rollmaster. Mifune should have been (in a way, understandably) annoyed with the fact that as Aedile he did not get the Quaestor position. However, that Quaestor resigned and Mifune finally got the Quaestor of House Marka Ragnos position.
I think what defines Mifune best as a leader is what makes me so awesome as Consul. Mifune participates in the competitions. He leads by example. He and his Quaestor, Ylith, constantly look for ways to improve the house. In fact, I trust the House Marka Ragnos summit enough that for the most part I leave them alone to run their house.
What's weird about the whole thing is that Mifune was last promoted the same day I was made Consul of Clan Naga Sadow. It feels like an eternity, and somehow Mifune has managed to weather the storm. That is why the Conclave decided that it was time for a promotion. Congratulations.
