What can be said of Baron Zarco of his time, his place, and his activity in the Brotherhood? Well, there is a lot since his last promotion 9 months ago.

Before I get to his Clan activities, I know Baron spent a great deal of time being a Judge in the ACC. He was in that position 9 months and did well from what I saw, never being awarded for his efforts by those running that. That I didn’t know until late, which is sad on the ACC, such a valuable member. In Clan Baron has continued his leadership experience by leading Horsemen of the Apocalypse for four months followed by Aedile of House Archanis for nearly two months. He was steady in reports, in communication with his members, and his leaders. Baron hits all the major areas as well, those being email, message boards and IRC. A very nice and respectable record if I do say so myself, worthily of recognizing.

Adding to that Baron has done many others things beyond just leading; he also stands as an example for others. Just recently he wrote the Taldryan Blurb for the Dark Voice, doing a nice piece in a very quick amount of time. Competition wise he has participated in at least 9 events since the Great Jedi War, including the Survival on Volcanus Clan Run-on, Tal Trivia, Man those Battle Stations!, and the recently finished Clan Cooperative RO. Baron placed in competitions 7 times since September, from Tal Trivia, Reporting is Fun!, up to 1st place victories in the Santa Slayer event and Cotelin, Jac Cotelin event. That’s some great activity for a normal member, but considering he was in a position at that time and was running events of his own that’s even more showing. Baron ran several competitions such as the Assault on Cho-Kirai One & Two, Tal - Shards of the Past, and the Archanis Role Playing Night; all doing very well respectively. Lastly but not least, he has a increasable winning record in the ACC that has continued to build over time, hopefully that won’t stop either.

While we have had some ups and down, even some conflicts in Clan, Baron stands out as an active and prominent member of Taldryan. He’s given a tremendous amount of effort into all the various things he has done. It’s time to see that awarded. I recommend Baron Zarco for a promotion to Krath Priest. Congratulations, you have earned it!

After reading through the following recommendation, I realised that I really didn't have that much to add as Consul. Chris is one of the cornerstones of Galeres and Soulfire, an excellent writer and graphic artist, and our resident EaW god. Out of everyone, I really can't think of any person more deserving of this promotion to Warrior. My friend, welcome to the Equites!

As his former Sergeant in the Soulfire Strike Team and his current Quaestor/Envoy in House Galeres of Arcona, I am very pleased to present this request for “CC’s” promotion into the ranks of the Equites. Since his last rank elevation, which occurred on 8 June 2006, he has accomplished much in service of his brethren here in Arcona.

In the gaming arena, Zandro has amassed an impressive total of 539 Clusters of Fire in that time, averaging out to nearly 60 per month spent as a Dark Jedi Knight! He participated in a wide array of gaming-related events, including Inter Club Training Events, of which he won twice and took second place three times; resulting in two Crescents with Ruby Star and three Crescents with Amethyst Star. Sticking just a moment more with the gaming theme, Zandro won the Silver Nova for the Strategy Games event in the last Great Jedi War, and has since proven his prowess in the game of Empire at War many times over, even writing a primer to assist his Clanmates with doing better at the platform. He has also been willing to lend his abilities to team gaming, often playing EaW and BFII team matches in ICTE events, and most notably in the recent Outer Rim War.

Zandro participated in five events of the last GJW; earning himself a second place (see above) and a third place Bronze Nova for the RPG Play Phase event. He has become well known as a frequent participant in BT/House/Clan events, having won numerous Crescents for his various placing in these events, including three each of Sapphire and Emerald, four Topaz and a Quartz Star. His consistent and steadfast service has also been recognized over the past nine months with a Dark Cross, a Steel Cross and an Anteian Cross.

During the recent Vengeance Feud between Clans Arcona and Scholae Palatinae, Zandro saw fit to aid his Clan by participating in four events. While official results are not yet available for this engagement, it only serves to provide yet another example of his dedication and his desire to lift Arcona to new heights whenever feasible.

One of the best things about Zandro is that he’s both easy-going and opinionated during his frequent forays onto IRC. He willingly accepts criticism, takes part in discussions, imparts his own interesting and refreshing humor and advises his fellow Arconans, however he has never been one to bite his tongue or restrain himself from getting his true feelings across, within reason. I’ve come to count him as one of a select few that I can go to with an issue and be certain of an honest bit of advice. He may not always tell me what I want to hear, but he will certainly not shy away from telling me what I need to hear about a given situation.

He has weathered more than one storm while serving as a Knight in Arcona, and is in my opinion better for the experiences that he has gleaned from past events. As such, he was selected to succeed me as Soulfire Sergeant; a confident choice, since I was and am certain that he has the ability to use his rapport with the rest of the unit in conjunction with his own skill set; producing a truly effective, self-sustaining and motivated group.

For these reasons above all others, I would be both proud and honored to see Zandro Erinos admitted into the ranks of the Equites.

Rho has fulfilled all of these requirements, as follows:

Be in contact with your House and Clan: Rho is frequently online, often talking to any number of members within the Clan and Brotherhood.

Complete one of the Leadership exams: On October 18 of 2006, Rho completed his Leadership fundamentals, as can be seen in his Dossier.

Promote and run a competition for your battleteam, successfully: At the request of the House summit, Rho ran his competition for the House rather than the battleteam. The awards were eventually recommended and awarded by him. The competition he ran was: ‘who’s caption is it anyway?’, competition ID 2426

Participate in at least eight activities: Rho has participated in seven activities during the Feud, and several before that including several gaming nights and ICTE’s.

Earn at least twenty clusters of fire: At present, Rho possesses a total of 135 clusters of fire, as can be seen on his Dossier.

As Rho has completed all of these guidelines, and more, I would like to respectfully request his promotion to Jedi Hunter.

Wuntila has only been in the DB for less then a month, and he has already earned my respect as one of the most solid members I’ve ever seen. He’s participated in 6 or more competitions since his last promotion and he has four crescents to show for it. He is very active in his Battle Team and has earned the rank of Flight Leader and has applied for Commander of the Team as well. His activity has also inspired many Flight Members to become more active. His IRC time is amazing, and is always involved in many conversations there. His email response time is impeccable, and his activity on the eGroups has been decent. He has great leadership skills and I find his modesty astounding. I see an extremely bright future for Wuntila, and it will start with this promotion. ~AED Niman

Since his last promotion ACO Davin Olar has continued to work hard. He frequently chats with his fellow Clan members in IRC, has completed another seven SA exams, has taken part in two competitions and has won a Crescent with Quartz Star.
