Elevation Request: Dark Knight Laurus (6041)

Laurus has been a reliable member and leader during his career in the Dark Jedi Brotherhood thus far. He is a regular gamer, earning hundreds of Clusters of Fire since his last promotion, and helped Scholae Palatinae dominate the recent Sunday Invitational Tournaments. Laurus has earned two Legions of the Scholar from regularly participating in CSP's trivia events and he has earned five Crescents since his last promotion. He has also fought in six ACC battles. He also participates in CSP's JA Training Days regularly and helps others, and himself, to become one of CSP's best JA gamers.

In addition, he has been a tremendous help to House Acclivis Draco, and ultimately, Scholae Palatinae, by leading a project designed to develop and delve in-depth into Antenora, Acclivis Draco's home planet, something that has been started numerous times, but never completed. He has given me occasional reports on the progress of the project, and from what I have seen, I am greatly impressed by his leadership and the work completed on the project.

His activity has been quite outstanding even without looking at his regular awards earned from gaming: he participated in eight events in the Sixth Great Jedi War - eight Seals of Duplicity - and earned a Gold Nova for his efforts in helping CSP win Event 11: The Antei Campaign. His contributions to Acclivis Draco during the House Feud were gratefully appreciated, Laurus participated in four events and posted twelve times in the run-on. Laurus also participated in three Rite of Supremacy events, and placed fifteenth in the Clan from the final scores.

When Mune resigned from Quaestor and left the Clan, Laurus was left without a guide to push him along to the coveted rank of Dark Jedi Knight, but his step barely faltered as he continued his push to earn his lightsaber. A few months ago, he submitted the traditional "lightsaber creation" story, and his writing, although punctured with a few grammar and spelling slip-ups, really made an interesting read and I'm sure that with a bit of training and practice, he could end up as one of the Clan's best run-on writers and ACC fighters.

I feel that this promotion is long overdue and I am very proud to write this recommendation for my House-mate and Wookiee friend. Laurus, continue your blazing trek through the obstacles that have leaped in your path and promise me that you will stay in Acclivis Draco as one of the best members in Scholae Palatinae.

Laurus has walked a long path to reach this point. And I am glad to have watched every step first as his Proconsul and now as his Consul. He has truly been tested - time and again - concerning his dedication to both House & Clan... easily proving his worth a thousand times over as a member and role model.

Clan Scholae Palatinae recently attained the honor of Second Clan in the Brotherhood Vendetta "Rites of Supremacy: Second Darkness" compiling 330 Clan points - outstripping four rival Clans to affirm their right as an Elite Clan. For contributions, participation and tenacity to ensure the Clan's wartime efforts... I recognize Laurus's effort. Compiling 78 individual points in the MP Gaming Event and taking the rank of 57th Overall in the Vendetta.

Additionally, I have watched Laurus pile in many accolades, accruing five (5) Crescents (2 Sapphire, 2 Emerald & Topaz), two (2) Legions of the Scholar, a Dark Cross, a Bronze Nova, eight (8) Seals of Duplicity and three (3) Seals of Darkness. His activity has spanned three major Vendettas (Sixth Great Jedi War, Arcona vs. Scholae Palatinae Feud & Rites of Supremacy: Second Darkness), a House vs. House Feud, and varying levels of competition at the House, Clan and Brotherhood level; compiling to an astounding twenty submissions and participation in countless Gaming Nights.

Laurus, I look forward to your progress as a Dark Knight - you have the makings of an elite member, project manager and leader (once more) within Scholae Palatinae. Always keep your eyes on the prize and remember to defend the honor of House & Clan. Congratulations on your elevation.

Jedi Hunter Gavan has been under my tutelage since the dawn of the Sixth Great Jedi War. And, perhaps, has been my toughest Apprentice to track - his progression - as he is an integral part of the DBPA. However, I believe that he has proven himself a regular, constant source of activity and maturity that is the standard of Scholae Palatinae Knights.

As the Sith Grand Admiral of the DBPA, Gavan is the primary go-to guy for all tasks related to Imperial Piloting. According to Raidoner, Gavan is simply the best. He spends countless hours each week helping members of the Guild attain the rank of 'Ace', as well as several others whom are allied to our Guild. In short, he acts as a role model and source of knowledge for the Dark Brotherhood to this diverse facet of our culture. His contributions cannot be enumerated; however, I know his total log of hours played in the name of the Dark Brotherhood eclipses three hundred (300) total hours. He has, in my opinion, gone beyond the minimum expectations to develop into a fine leader in this venue.

Clan Scholae Palatinae recently attained the honor of Second Clan in the Brotherhood Vendetta "Rites of Supremacy: Second Darkness" compiling 330 Clan points - outstripping four rival Clans to affirm their right as an Elite Clan. For contributions, participation and tenacity to ensure the Clan's wartime efforts... I wanted to recognize Gavan. Compiling 50 individual points in the MP Gaming & Fiction Events - accruing three Seals of Darkness - and taking the rank of 94th Overall in the Vendetta.

Since his elevation to Jedi Hunter, Gavan has accrued over one hundred and fifty (150) Clusters of Fire, has participated in Gaming Nights, SIT (3), the Outer Rim War, the Arcona versus Scholae Palatiane Feud (3 Events). Most improbably, Gavan also began to show his diversity by participating in the Rites of Supremacy Fiction event - taking a large step forward towards his fulfillment as a member. He has been inducted into the Order of the Dragon - where he serves as a Role Model for House Acclivis Draco.

Lastly, and most importantly, Gavan has stepped forward as a mediator. He recently took the initiative to help settle the difference between two members and while the situation had escalated beyond his control... the sheer fact he attempted to step in and help two people overcome their squabble... it speaks volumes.

For all of these things, as a sum total, I request his elevation to Knighthood.
