From April 2005 until the present, Kat Pridemore has been a force in the Combat Centre. Hired as a Jedi Hunter and making her way through the ranks to Archpriest, she can easily be considered a veteran of the Centre. She has held positions as Trainer, Live! Judge and is currently the Live! Judge Admin. I consider her well-rounded in the platform and an asset of the highest degree.
She is personally responsible for the popularity of the ACCLive! system; offering the members who enjoy it a fairly decent scope of variation in it's game-play; from tournaments to all out battles. She is the only 'original' member of the Live! staff - and responsible for it going from 33 battles to 256 since it was re-opened to the public in March of 05. Kat was given the responsibility of hiring and training her own staff, and many have come through her program more than capable of running the game and troubleshooting the process. In fact, she does such a great job of training, that I have 'stolen' a few of her shinning stars for use as Judges and Trainers - who have proven to be some of the best I have.
From staff perspective, ACCLive! is a 'gateway'; I can see the potential in their ratings and their dedication. Kat polishes them up for me and I take them from her - it's a nice little game we play; but she doesn't falter. Repeatedly she has taken individuals that I might've seen as questionable and turned them into valuable members of her operating unit, thus strengthening the processes of the platform and benefiting the members who like to play. All of it - despite her duties as PCON.
In a job where most staff members choose one or the other - Clan or the Centre - Kat seems adept at both. She doesn't allow herself to be suffocated by a singular activity as many do, which speaks directly to her abilities as a leader and her desire to be productive throughout. She helps to oversee her Clan as well as leading her Live! staff and a platform that effects the entirety of the Brotherhood - she is not only an asset to me, but one of the few that the club (as a whole) should thank. I was approached by DA Manesh Sadow, asking if I had any words for Kat's promotion to Epis...but my words can't do her justice. I have reserved the comments to her abilities in the ACC, as I am sure her Clan has a broad scope of achievement, and offer my utmost support for the recommendation of her promotion to Krath Epis.

I'd like to reccomend Kat Pridemore to you. Her work as Proconsul has been good, with regular reports. I know Manesh can count on her, which is good. She runs regular competitions, and has admirably served in a bunch of CNS leadership positions that I know of. I know I can always talk to her, and that is great. Her ACC work is stupendous, and she has been there a long time. In short, I feel she is worthy of an elevation.

I have not been a member of Clan Naga Sadow long and even before that I had been aware of Kat Pridemore's work in the acc. Since joining CNS I have seen first hand the integrity and farness that she strives to uphold in all things. Many in the db might see Kat as one of the quiet ones; to them I say its the quiet ones that change the world. I have seen first hand the efforts shes put in to her role as PCON is a real asset to the clan.
And I feel her potential is yet to be fully realised.
It is for those reasons that id like to add my name to the list of recommendations for kats promotion.

Kat Pridemore gets a lot of crap. It's a known fact. But quite frankly I can't fault her for anything. She's good at what she does and she has a brilliant attitude about things. Kat's doing great in the ACC and I expect she always will - she's dedicated and it shows. I see her talking with people on how to improve upon what they've done, a better way to go about things in the battle - I don't know much about ACC, but if I wanted to learn I'd speak to Kat.
As PCON, Kat's work is pretty much a little above me. I'm not exactly privy to everything she does, but I know she does her job well and Manesh has even said that she's constantly asking for more work to help out with - another sign of her dedication to things. She's done well in every position she's been in, she's one of the nicest, friendliest members of the DB you could ever hope to meet - always on hand with a drink :P - and she more than deserves the promotion to KE.

Krath Archpriest Kat Pridemore has been Quaestor and Aedile of House Marka Ragnos since as long as I can remember, promoting activity and competitions and managing the day to day issues most none Summit members don't see such as resolving difficulties between members and ensuring they get the support they need to progress in the Brotherhood. Her activity and skill has more recently seen her appointed as Pro Consul of Clan Naga Sadow where she continues to be an active and valued member of the Clan Summit.
Her constantly cheerful presence in IRC, taking on the fictional role of Clan bartender makes her a friendly and approachable leader, and her professional calm attitude is an asset both in conclaves and email discussions providing an insightful and unprejudiced viewpoint to new ideas and initiatives. She also refrains from many of the rows and politics which unfortunately many others fall into and sets an example of good conduct by this.
During the 6th Great Jedi War Kat was active in many of the events, leading by example and set an example for others to follow, helping her Clan achieve its impressive and hard won second place.
As Pro Consul she assists the Consul in all things asked as her and remains to date an active and thoughtful leader strengthening the organisation. In Conclaves she often acts as a combination of chair and sergeant at arms, both prompting discussion of issues and keeping the discussion on the ground when it begins to drift off the subject, improving the efficiency of the meetings and ensuring that what needs to be resolved is and also gives her own calm impartial opinion where it is needed.
Kat is a great asset to Clan Naga Sadow both as Pro Consul and as a constantly active member, and for this she has earned the rank of Krath Epis.

This is perhaps not the best time to write a recommendation for Kat Pridemore, because today the anti-Kat bandwagon has hit a new high. However, I have found that the people spearheading this effort to be lacking in character and decency. She has kept me away from the details of her personal life, unlike some other people in the DB, and I salute her for that.
I'm going to talk about her work as Proconsul. People seem to be under the impression that I'm this awesome Consul, but in reality I only spend a few hours a week doing actual DB work. In fact, I'm so incredibly efficient at my work that it doesn't really leave Kat Pridemore much to do as Proconsul. She does a few choice tasks for me. She represents the Clan Summit in welcoming new members (because that was on the survey and it was lacking in my own performance). She grades the clan-wide Historical Campaigns that I make up. She handles the monthly Clan Conclave better than I do. I talk to at least every other day about the DB goings-ons. I seek out her opinions and perspectives and I take comfort in them. We split the high-end medals and promotions. Kat Pridemore has recommended people for positions...people who have treated her like crap. For all of the accusations against her, which I'll never know the truth, she is decent to people in my eyes.
I don't know if it's personal or not. But when her critics are actually engaged on the issue, and I ask them, "What do you think she should be doing more?" they don't have an answer. I am one of the most experienced members of the clan, and even I can't think of anything. She asks me to give her work, and I sigh and I say I can't think of anything.
Kat Pridemore earned one of the highest point totals for the Clan in the Great Jedi War. People seem to forget that, and this was during a period when people were claiming she wasn't being active.
Some people have told me that they have no problem with this recommendation because the primary motivation for it was her work in the ACC, but this completely dismisses he work as Proconsul. That is simply unacceptable. To criticize my biggest appointment is to criticize me. And, there have been many Proconsuls of Clan Naga Sadow who were unremarkable. Kat Pridemore does more than most of the Proconsuls in the DB.
