Elevation Request: Dark Jedi Knight
JH Cethgus (6705)
Today I request that my apprentice, Cethgus, is elevated to the rank of Dark Jedi Knight, for consistent levels of activity over a long period of time since his last promotion.
Cethgus' main strength is gaming. Since his last promotion, he has obtained well over 50 Clusters of fire outside of the Sixth Great Jedi War, both before
and after the event, participating every week in the Gaming Nights, ICTEs and the SIT. And it should not go un-noted competing in major events such as the GJW.
JH Cethgus has also been active with house competitions, competing in Nightmares Motto, and running the Family Crest and An Old Friend competitions. These competitions help to bring other members into the action, and competitions like this also bring other members into activity.
Cethgus has tried extensively, and eventually won himself a promotion in the ACC. Considering Cethgus finds writing difficult, this is a huge
achievement for him. Also, Cethgus currently has 3 ACC battles going on at the moment, proof that he will be active even after his Knighthood.
Cethgus has also been awarded a Scroll of indoctrination since his last promotion for recruiting JH Malaki, and also had 3 before that.
He has also been a frequent poster in the House run-on, helping the House to obtain a new artefact, and been incredibly active elsewhere on the forums, posting over 100 times in the last week, also starting new topics to inspire activity in many others. The run-on can be found here:

Cethgus has also written a 4-page character history as part of the CSP guidelines and as a task from me. Although it isn’t great, it is a huge improvement on his earlier writing.
Lastly, Cethgus has completed 10 shadow academy courses since his last promotion including the Test of Wisdom, Sith Core, Sith ISET and ESET, and History of the Sith Empire, showing a continued interest in Dark Side Lore, and thus I request his knighthood. Also, a lot of these courses have been done very recently, and Cethgus’ activity has
risen even further in the past few weeks.
In addition to keeping himself on of the best individual assets the House, Cethgus was also a battleteam leader for a 4-month period. Although there was nothing extraordinary about his leadership, he was very reliable, offering frequent basic competitions, reporting regularly and
encouraging reluctant equittes back to activity.

Since my indcution as Proconsul I have watched each member in Scholae Palatinae struggle to establish activity, participation and mastery of their skills. And I believe that Cethgus has, finally, achieved those goals: extraordinary activity, above normal participation and has mastered his skills to the best of his ability.
His light-hearted conversations and willingness to chat with others is a pleasure on IRC (often in #scholae) where he talks amongst us before he moves on to his Gaming for the day/night. It is also his launching board for discussions with his Leadership, a place where he frequently looks for ways to improve his House & Clan. Such notes of this come in his willingness to work alongside both QUA and PCON to create competitions that would reach all members of the Clan. And who can forget his excellent MB activity (going beyond just posts) where he posts and includes tidbits to leadership about what is going on across the djb.
Most importantly, his personal engine and desire to succeed. This member, since the year he has joined, has proven himself capable of understanding the Dark Brotherhood, Scholae Palatinae and being an active member. Most recently he competed in 5 Halloween Bonanza Events, was awarded two Crescents and a Legion of theScholar. Additionally, he has attended 4 Conclaves and helped in the maturation of basic ideas into elaborate, working systems (The entire point of Conclave). For his combined loyalty, activity and dedication, I recommend this member for Dark Jedi Knight.
