I cannot even begin to describe how much I appreciate Dalthid and his work as Combat Master…but I will try. I have been around in DGM or GM to see each one of the Combat Masters come and go. I can say without hesitation and without insult to the others that Dalthid’s term has had the greatest impact on the ACC. He simply has had the time in and dedication to the position to make a decidedly large imprint on what the ACC is and where it is going. Dalthid has a devotion to his tasks and a love for the ACC that is truly unmatched.

Some would say that Dalthid has some rough edges, but where others see that as a hindrance, I see strength. For years, the ACC was largely standardless; the judges judged based on the temperature of the day, the rules were rarely documented and enforce haphazardly, and there were many delays in the simplest of administration. I dealt with many problems in the ACC in its heyday, most of which are virtually non-existent now. I cannot tell you how nice it is as Grand master to simply not have to worry about something.

On a personal level, the thing that I like most about Dalthid is that he shows his appreciation for help. Just as he speaks plainly when telling you that you are in the wrong, he does not mince them when telling you are in the right. He is supportive of his staff and always ensures they are properly awarded. He thanks profusely those who help him and makes sure that they are willing to do more. Personally, I absolutely enjoy helping Dalthid with any aspect of his job; he shows appreciation for the coding projects I have done for him unlike anyone else. I cannot tell you how good of a feeling that is and how sorely lacking it is in other venues.

Dalthid is consistent and strong. He reports regularly, he gives heads up on problems and then he deals with them himself. He often contributes new ideas to discussions and is looking for many ways to innovate within his office. Things like the new Clan training program will be great changes to the ACC that will help the clans and the DB as a whole for years. He always has some great changes in the works; the legend of Dalthid in the ACC will be hard to overcome.

Dalthid, thank you for all that you do. The DB owes you a debt of gratitude. As a mark of that, I hereby honor your service by elevating you to the rank of Dark Jedi Master!

Congratulations! Lord Jac Ae-Sequiera Cotelin Taldrya-Cantor Grand Master of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood

There is much that can be said about Dalthid, and below you will find many of those things. I’ve worked closely with Dalthid for quite some time. He has been the Combat Master for the better part of my time on the ACC staff, and he was also my Proconsul for a brief period as well as a regular “member” when I was a Quaestor. So basically, I think I can safely assume that I know him fairly well. He can tell you just as easily that he can be quite the controversial figure, to put it mildly. He is blunt, brusque and can seem overly intimidating to many. He does not mince his words, so whether you agree or not with him, you will know where he stands on an issue.

The ACC itself is very much like it’s leader as it can be quite controversial. Many people enjoy it and many others don’t for various reasons, many of which relate to not actually participating themselves. However, the work he has done for the ACC itself is astounding no matter how one looks at his. He has, without any hyperbole, done more for the ACC than every other Combat Master put together.

Let us look at just the specifics of his work since his last promotion: The first CHL was completed; the second CHL began and was completed; the third CHL has begun; he has begun the second PCHL; Force Pool created; “Cleaning the CM” co-op competition was run to conclusion; Completion of the fictional ACC history; Oversaw two ACCLive! Tournaments; re-worked the various Halls to streamline them and added Clan and DB halls; created the Events/Competition guide; helped put together the Creature testing and various information; put together a Competition request form for ACC specific use; re-coding the ACC site to comply with current DB standards; working on Training Reformation; numerous Compendium updates; re-did the ACC site layout; working on another ACC SA course; grades the current ACC course; has approved hundreds of CS’; has written hundreds of battle intros; judged or closed hundreds of battles; has had numerous training and qualification battles.

That was done just since his last promotion, and not what he has accomplished over the entire course of his CM career. Dalthid is more than deserving of this award. I don’t have the words to truly describe the amount of effort he puts in every single day, without much thanks by the general populace. He deserves this elevation without any sense of hesitation. Congrats Dal!

Dedication. Commitment. Reliability. These are the three words that define Dalthid in my opinion. I've been a member of this club for over six years and, over this time, only rarely did I have the opportunity to work with such a great leader. I've been in the Combat Center Staff for seven months, and never did I see he falter: he is always deeply dedicated to whatever tasks that are set in his way, always giving 100% of himself to see that everything is running smoothly and well – and he's very successful at it. I've seen many leaders without initiative or resolve in my time, people who seem to be scared of taking certain measures and, thus, allow their unities' performance to fade and crumble. Dalthid is the extreme opposite of that sad reality. A very communicative and straightforward individual, who is sometimes mistaken for arrogant, he is always open to hear others' opinions and concerns, whatever the subject, and he's always there to say what needs to be said, whenever it needs to be said. You know you can count on him to do his best for you and the unity of the Combat Center, regardless of who you are or what obstacles show up in the way, and his leadership makes working in the Staff a pleasurable and fulfilling experience.

All that makes Dalthid one of the best leaders this club has, a man who truly deserves recognition for his work.

Dalthid has been quite a noticeable presence in the Brotherhood. He works tirelessly on improving the Combat Center - making it a more interesting and a fair place to be. In addition, he puts up with plenty of comments, concerns, complaints, and overall questions on a regular basis. Dalthid deals with combatant problems, with staff problems, and with technical problems - and no one really gives him a lot of thanks for it.

I've witnessed some of the problems that have arisen. I've even grumbled a little myself - but I understand the reason the rules are they way they are - and I appreciate it. I'm glad there are rules in place, otherwise it would be a very difficult thing. Dalthid ensures that those guidelines are followed - no matter who decides they don't like it.

Dalthid deserves a promotion - beyond a doubt in my mind. Personally, I just want to say thank you. He's had faith in his staff from the beginning, and I hope it will continue well into the future.

-- Kat Pridemore PCON of Naga Sadow Mistress of the ACC

A lot can be said about Dalthid depending on who you are. He is a man who, without a doubt, is honest and hard working. Some might not like his honesty, calling him harsh or other such words, but it is his honesty that gets the job done. It is not always an easy task to tell someone they just can't cut it. Dalthid, more than anyone here, must do this task daily. From him you know you'll get a straight answer without any sugar coating and he brings that every day to see the ACC through.

His hard work and dedication to the ACC knows no bounds. He strives forward to bring the best experience for members. The ACC has grown so much in his hands and if there was a snap-shot of how the Centre was before he became Combat Master, his contributions would be seen so much more clearly. Even now his imagination pushes things forward to allow the Clans their own place for training new members and holding competitions not limited to the few who are qualified. The best possible experience for the membership as a whole.

Dalthid is also a great leader to his staff members. He is good at keeping the staff informed on the latest changes and awards. He is quick to point out to a staff member that they need to shape up and gives them ample time to do so. He is also quick to thank someone for helping in a project, competition, or just for doing their job well. He has created an environment that makes staff members feel comfortable coming to him with concerns or questions or ideas. His energy almost seems to transfer to those on the staff, reenergizing them and giving them the support they need when things get tough. He at least makes this staff member proud to be part of the Antei Combat Centre.

Over the course of my time in the Dark Jedi Brotherhood very few things have remained unchanged, and that is the dedication and work ethic of Dalthid. As long as I have been in the Brotherhood Dalthid has been the Combat Master of the Antei Combat Centre. I have watched as the Centre blossomed from something fun but basic, into something amazing. If it is not the most used facet of the Brotherhood it has to be close to the top, and there is one person to recognize for this effort more than any other, and it is Dalthid.

He has been the reason for the constant updates and improvements to the Centre. He has been the reason that nearly all of the competitions that run through the ACC have run smoothly, and he is the reason that the Centre is where it is today. I can think of no one that has done more for their club, and it is my opinion that Dalthid is worthy of even the highest award that this club can bestow on a member. It is with great pleasure and honor that I place my name with the many others that recommend Dalthid for promotion to the rank of Dark Jedi Master. Congratulations Dal! If anyone deserves such an honor it's you!

On behalf of Arual's Master, KE Adam Anderson:

For his work in the House Feud (Acclivis Draco vs. Caliburnus), participation in no less that 5 BT competitions (in addition to the Feud) of Draco Conspicari - including Iron Chef! - and a small piece of work on why the Dark Side is the true path to enlightenment - I recommend this promotion for Arual to Guardian.

Adam Anderson Team Leader

---------------*-

For over a month, I have watched as this member collected several personal honors: Cr-E (2), Cr-T, 24 CFs and his first Merit medal (A darkcross). It is also with great joy that I have seen him continue to put forth effort. Not only has Arual worked in the Feud, but he has also competed in 12 competitions (ranging from BT to Clan level), does continual 'thankless' jobs for the Clan Summit (Record IRC discussions, complete minor grunt projects) and works as Ood's pupil as an Assistant Envoy.

For all of his hard work, determination and participation. I highly urge you to consider advancing him to the rank of Guardian, so he may continue his training in earnest.

I would like to recommend Eldrad Sin for an elevation. He has been an integral member of this House and Clan, having done a good job as House Envoy. I see him putting out thoughtful emails, and reminding new folks of ways to progress as well as answering questions.

He is responsible for almost all of the planet/sun images in the current CNS DB Wiki Prospectus, minus one or two out of fourteen or more. His reply to the Prospectus project request was almost instantaneous. This contribution is invaluable to our good Clan Prospectus. It has taken a bit of work as well. I asked him for help, and he responded with alacrity. It was awesome.

He has also: been awarded (since his last elevation) at least 2 CrA's, A Gold Nova, A Silver Nova, A Steel Cross, A Star of Antei, 8 Seals of Duplicity, and an Emerald crescent as well as four Clusters of Fire. This only serves to illustrate his dedication to the Clan and the DB as a whole experience. He has put together a HLK newsletter, which is great.

I find him to be always willing to help, and of the best demeanor. I wish, I could have more students and friends like him. Eldrad Sin rocks. He would make a good Warrior.

SBL Mononoke "Macron" Keibatsu-Goura House Ludo Kressh Assistant Envoy DSC Tribune

Eldrad Sin has been a major help to the building of Wiki sites, as well as the many graphics you can see on them. He does not and sit by for someone to ask him to do something, he volunteers his time and effort without a moment's notice. Recently, he has helped me out with a personal project of designing some graphics for my own Wiki. I appreciate his generosity and I am certain that the clan is as well. For going above and beyond for his clan (and clanmates), I feel that it is time that Sin be promoted to the rank of Sith Warrior. Congrats, Sin! This promotion is truly well deserved! :-)

-Shikyo "Rurouni" Keibatsu Aedile of House Marka Ragnos

DJK Eldrad Sin is one of HLKs most valued members. He is one of the cheerful good natured active members that sets an example to others, laughs and jokes in IRC, doesn't complain or get involved in politics, and gets on with everyone.

These qualities have made him one of the longest serving Envoys in the Clan. Since early this year he has been House Envoy of Ludo Kressh, greeting each new member, answering their questions, sending emails informing them about promotion requirements and ongoing competitions, and has recently put together a newsletter with a host of useful information for new members. The work of the Envoys as a recognised and valued addition to the CNS leadership is due to the hard work of people like Sin.

In addition to this, Sin has kept himself active, he worked hard in the GJW earning an impressive number of points, a Silver Nova and a Steel Cross for his efforts, he has earned three crescents for participation in competitions, and more recently has been working hard with Tron, Xanos and Macron on the CNS wiki pages creating impressive pictures of the clans planets and facilities, something that has added a great deal of quality to the above and shows his commitment to helping his Clan.

Therefore for all of the above DJK Eldrad Sin has earned the rank of Sith Warrior.

Malisane de Ath Quaestor of Ludo Kressh.

Eldrad Sin has been an active member of Naga Sadow for awhile now. He has been active as the leader of the Sapphire Squadron for quite some time now. He has been working on improving activity, and participating in various competitions throughout the period. His work in many areas cannot go unnoticed. During the GJW, he participated in eight different events, and has continued his activity even after the war's completion. For all of these things, and his general good attitude toward the Brotherhood, I recommend this promotion for Sin.

Congratulations.

Kat Pridemore, PCON of Naga Sadow

While his official name is Eldrad Sin, he used to be known as Lanius Sin, and that is what I continue to call him. Lanius Sin has been an outstanding House Envoy, which is why he was recently appointed to be the Clan's Envoy. He is quite an enjoyable chap to be around, and I'm sure he'll do a great job as Clan Envoy.

In addition, Lanius Sin has been doing invaluable work with Goatham and Macron and the other older members, creating drawings that have been used on the various Naga Sadow wiki pages. His drawing of the Sword of Sadow for a recent competition is just breathtaking. It is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. Too bad I can't seem to find the picture anywhere. This is the kind of behind-the-scenes work that doesn't get noticed so easily. In fact, Lanius Sin was doing graphics like these for months and I didn't know about them. We were at conclave one month and someone mentioned that he did graphics, and I was like, "He does?" This is because Lanius Sin wasn't telling us when he was doing graphics. Now he does tells us, and it's obvious that he does a lot. Things like the graphics and the wiki work are a pleasure to see done. It's the kind of project that has little pressure associated with it, unlike a Great Jedi War, for example. It's good to know that people are working on this kind of stuff with little supervision from me. It is a testament to Lanius Sin's ability to work with people voluntarily on a behind-the-scenes project with real results.

Dark Adept Manesh Sadow Consul of Clan Naga Sadow
