Everyone's favourite maniac with a smile, Jorm is one of those members that has seemingly slipped under the radar. Needless to say, I'm looking forward to this. Jorm is one of those members that encompasses the very idea if fun within the Brotherhood, and that's not just in Taldryan (though he has been an outstanding member in his time here too.) But in Clan Scholae Palatinae, where he spent over a year on their House summit. (More on that below)

So let's start crunching the numbers, shall we? 10,550 words of fiction written (That's not even including the recent Tal RP), 103 competitions participated in, and 25 competitions organised. In terms of awards, he has earned the following since his last promotion in 2018;

Grand Cross - 1 Bronze Nova - 1 Crescent with Ruby Star- 2 Crescent with Amethyst Star- 6 Crescent with Sapphire Star - 10 Crescent with Emerald Star - 8 Crescent with Topaz Star - 3

Now, the promotion guidelines state that for EQ4, a member must have completed roughly 6 months of CON level leadership or equivalent. Jorm completed 3 months as a Battleteam Leader, 6 months as an Aedile, and then one full calendar year as a Quaestor where he undertook projects such as aiding his Consul at the time (Elincia/Zentru’la) with military possession admin, and wiki work which can be seen here. When a new Consul was appointed during his time as Quaestor, he helped get them become familiar with the running of the Clan itself, along with running competitions for his House. On top of this, Jorm helped create the future Clan Storylines. One of which was the CSP: Iron Sky event. and also the CSP: Into the Fire event, where he helped co-author the Event background. as well as came up for the idea and co-hosted the events Run-On.

Outside of all the fancy numbers, Jorm is just one of those members that any Clan would be glad to have in its roster. He's active engaging, humorous, willing to help with anything the Clan has going on. Case in point, the recent Taldryan event where he was a key player in the storyline and its events. Speaking of that event, Jorm is part of the reason that the event was structured the way it is. He suggested the idea for quick, easy competitions over multiple, short weeks as a platform for experimentation.

I could keep singing Jorm's praises until the next day comes, but even then i don't think it would do him any kind of justice. So instead, I'll summise by saying that Taldryan is lucky to have him amongst its roster. Its been a delight getting to know him over the past few months, and I am more than happy to recommend his promotion to EQ4. Congratulations, Jorm! You earned it!

Czarnian continues their journey through the Journeymen ranks by exceeding all expectations! Since their last promotion, Czarnian has met thirteen of the nine necessary promotion requirements, plus served his 21 days in the rank! This included participating in 18 competitions, being awarded 4 Pendants of Blood, reaching at least Rank 3 for the Grand Master's Royal Guard and Shadow Academy Societies, placing in 9 of at least 2 competitions, organizing and closing one successful competition!

However, I want to also briefly touch on Czarnian's integration into our community. They have become an encouraging, friendly face in Clan Scholae Palatinae's Discord chat. Czarnian isn't afraid to ask questions and try new things, is always hyping up and supporting his fellow Clan and club members, and is a really positive influence in our community.

For meeting the requirements for promotion and for his continued positive contribution to our community, I hereby recommend Czarnian progress to the next Journeyman rank! Congratulations, Czarnian, and keep up the amazing work.

There are some promotion requests that spark more joy that others, and being able to write the EQ2 promotion for one Zuser Whuloc is one of those times. It seems fitting that I wrote his EQ1 promotion during my first tenure as Consul and now get to write his EQ2 promotion during my second. Zuser is one of those members of Plagueis that has been around almost since before the invention of dirt that is finally reaching the promised land. He has always been a member that is easy to root for, and has recently kicked his activity up a level to reach the next milestone.

Since his last promotion in 2017, Zuser has participated in 63 total competitions and has always been able to be counted on for some activity during major events such as the recent Rite of Supremacy and Pro Bowl V. His entries have earned him a small stable of awards amounting to 2 Gold Novae, and 1 Amethyst, 2 Sapphire, 1 Emerald, and 1 Topaz Crescents. He has also generated 2,206 words from his fiction entries and 5,837 words across 13 Run On posts to earn a total of 15 Clusters of Ice. His graphical entries have also seen him awarded 13 Clusters of Grapphite. In addition, he was the sole creator of the Aliso City Maglev Train write up and wiki article, a valuable addition to Clan lore. His all around activity has earned him a Dark Cross along with a pair of Anteian Crosses, the latter two awarded since this summer.

There are some members who make lasting contributions by being lasting contributors, and Zuser is one of those. A constant presence in the Ascendant Clan since 2010, Zuser has fully earned this advancement and it is my great honor to present it to him. Congratulations!
