I think Crix has earned this promo for a while now. When he was in Dinaari he was active as can be and as Magistrate to the Deputy Grand Master I’m sure he’s been busy doing whatever projects Xanos assigns him. He left Dinaari for Ektrosis when a leadership spot became available and has taken to the role of AED well as far as I can see. His previous leadership for Archanis and Dinaari are big indicators that he has the potential to continue moving up the leadership ladder and one day take on larger roles. Congrats Crix, you’ve earned this.

Kraval Novir QUA of Dinaari

Shortly after my return to Ektrosis after my stint as KHP, I took the position as Envoy, and have received unwavering support in that position from the house leadership. Chaos and Crix work exceptionally well as a team. If one is absent for a period of time the other always has it covered, and I rarely see them disagree on matters of how the house should be run. My position means that I frequently need to get someone recommended for promotion, or I need to find out obscure bits of information, and there’s always one of them available for me to speak to on IRC. Worthy of note is that they’re capable of coming to actual decisions during e-mail threads – often a rare trait amongst DB leaders!

But the main emphasis of this recommendation has to be the leadership of Ektrosis during the recent feud and GJW. Despite the occasional computer problem, they both proved that they are leaders capable of ‘getting their hands dirty’ – they jump right in there and lead by example. Emphasizing the importance of participation, in the grandest tradition of the house, they were a main force in Taldryan’s victory. They’ve proven their credentials as leaders, and they’ve earned themselves a much deserved promotion. Thanks for all your work, guys. ~ Alanna

What can I say about Crix that everyone doesn’t already know? I guess I’ll start out with the obvious. Crix kicks ass. In the 8 months he has been Aedile of Ektrosis he has done so much and helped us do a lot of great things. We went from being slow house and not really active, to having more great members than we know what to do with. He has helped me so much with all the work he has done for the house. He was great in the feud, participating in 6 events and placing in first in the Run-on event. In the Great Jedi War he participated in 4 events gaining Taldryan 85 points coming in 114 out of 246 participants. His 8 months as Aedile have brought great things for house Ektrosis. We have become have become an active house with many great members destined to do great things. With his and Alanna’s help we have started the steps to getting a whole group of great leaders for Taldryan and the Brotherhood at large. With Crix’s hard work this could have never happened. I thank you Crix for everything you’ve done. You’ve earned this 3 times over.

QUA Chaosrain

There has been so much already said, there isn’t much that can be added to how much Crix rocks and deserves this promotion. Crix has been back in the Clan for more than a year now and AED of Ektrosis for the past 8 months. This is a person that can step up and do whatever is needed; he’ll do reports, do competitions, run this, check for that, and help the newest member of the House when needed. Leadership is a strong trait of Crix and can be seen by looking even farther in the past. Since his last promotion more than 3 years ago he has led House Archanis and helped lead Dinaari as Roll Master and then Aedile. You can’t keep Crix away from a role he is made for.

In the Great Jedi War Crix along with Chaos pushed House Ektrosis to be the dominate force in the Clan securing us another victory. He leads by his words as well as actions, jumping in several events scoring us a good amount of points that was need in such a close finish. For all Crix has done in the past and now, he is overdue for a promotion to Battlelord. Congrats!

Vardar, I told you once that the summit watches all that you did for the GJW and now I’m going to prove it. Doing twelve of the events and placing in seven of them is no small feat and I think you’ve earned a promotion. Our victory over CNS wouldn’t have been possible without you gaming like you did plus doing the art and pinball shows that you’re dedicated to this clan which tells me that it’s time to reward you for that. Kraval Novir QUA of Dinaari

Vardar has been in Taldryan for 5 months now and I think pretty active the entire time. He’s been in and out of other Clans before coming to us, but I hope he’s found a new home here. Vardar helped us out in the Feud and now has pwned up the Great Jedi War with us. He managed to participate in 12 events, scoring placement points in 7 of those events. While he didn’t manage to get any Novas in those, his contributions to the War were critical for Taldryan to score a victory. Overall, Vardar finished in the top 20 of 250 GJW participants, an awesome accomplishment in itself. Taldryan honors the efforts of those that loyal fight for it and Vardar has definitely done that. For his continual efforts I’m happy to recommend a promotion to the rank of Templar. Congrats!

What can I say about FK other than his return to Tal has been one of the best things to happen. I remember the time when he was AED and I was new to the club. He did all he could to make sure that I was informed of everything and helped me to grow into what I am today. His disappearance was saddening but it allowed others to move along and let me reach the status of QUA today. Without his appearance for the GJW we may have lost it due to how close it was against CNS.

Upon return FK immediately messaged me and asked for things to do. It was at this time that I was taking over as QUA and had selected Odium as my AED. Odium still technically was Envoy but I didn’t want him to have too much to do so I asked FK if he wanted the spot and he gladly agreed. Since taking over he’s done a good job mailing to the new kids telling them where to go and what they need to do. I have no doubt that he’ll continue to do well.

His help in the GJW is probably the biggest thing I can think of. If he hadn’t of shown up before hand we wouldn’t have done as well as we did. FK participated in nine of the events and aided Tal in taking first place in an event that our clan has won time and time again. I think FK has deserved this promotion. Congrats Fire-Knight

Kraval Novir QUA of Dinaari

Fire-Knight is a core member of Dinaari I’d say now. He’s been in the Clan and House off and on for the last 3 years almost. It’s been more than a year since he was promoted last for his work in the Dark Fire Brigade and completing his trials. Since that time he’s led Dinaari as Aedile, helped us a bit in the Obelisk Rite of Supremacy, and now the Great Jedi War. In the War he has participated in 9 events ranging from gaming, writing, creative, and great contributions in the Clan Run-on. We needed his help as this was such a close War in the end. Besides participation he’s been around encouraging people to get involved and has been Dinaari Envoy for awhile now directing the newest members.

For all his work for the Clan over the past year, mostly for his awesome GJW presence and work in Dinaari now, Fire-Knight has earned a promotion to Templar. Congrats!

Darne had a nice GJW participation level. He entered three competitions and earned the clan 66 points. He was 123rd out of 250. He worked hard and is a valued member of the house and clan. He has completed 6 SA courses on top of his GJW activity. His hard work has earned himself a promotion to Guardian. Congratulations!

Syrus (Shuang Long) has been a very hard worker within Naga Sadow for a long time. His efforts during the GJW have not gone unnoticed, especially within the poetry portion. He has also played a role in his team, as Tetrarch of the Night Hawks.

Beyond these things, Shuang has done countless fictions and poems in various competitions. His mentor, Trev, has pushed him beyond his usual boundaries in the completion of his knight trials. He has easily surpassed the usual requirements for Knight in this Clan, by the time the information was presented to the summit to review. Congratulations on earning your saber.

Syrus completed his standard Knight Trials early on during the Great Jedi War, and I had suggested to him that he participate in one of the Fiction events of the Great Jedi war as his "Consul's Task" because at the time I thought it would be silly to distract Syrus from the Great Jedi War to do some other task for me. I said "any fiction", and when Syrus did the News Reporter event, I said, "Okay Syrus, you have completed my requirement, you can do your Knight Oath." However, Syrus didn't feel like what he had done was substantial enough, so he decided to wait until the next large fiction event to submit something a bit more substantial. I found this remarkable because Syrus had waited a long, long time to get Dark Jedi Knight, and he was willing to wait a few more weeks to submit something that he personally felt would satisfy the requirement.

Syrus has waited a long time to be promoted to Dark Jedi Knight, almost a year. He's a very low key member who, when needed, yet consistently, comes out of nowheere and BAM, kicks ass. So, I'm finally relieved we're getting this promotion through.
