I am honored to request promotion for OT Venquis Arcanum. Over the past several months Venquis has completely rebuilt House Satal Keto into a thriving and active force. He has taken control of the House with elan and stamina and worked to improve upon the past failures of HSK. In his time as QUA Venquis has completely rebuilt the Battle Teams, structuring them in a fictional system that is both enjoyable to members and attrative to new recruits. The success of these battle teams has led to the recent addition of a third battle team. Each of these teams have excelled, growing to 10, 9, and 9 members respectively. I contribute a great deal of this success to Venquis.

In addition to Venquis success with the Battle Teams, he has recruited several key veterans back into the house. In the past two months Venquis has recruited no less than 5 Equites into HSK. The addition of these veteran members made an immediate impact that is evident in the progression of our journeymen class.

In addition to his outstanding performance as QUA, Venquis has also earned personal accolades. Since he last promotion he has earned 126 CFs, a StA, DC, Cresent/A, taken a SA Course, Finished 1st and 2nd in JO/JA Sabers at the Tally Tournmanet, and won the Plagueis MP competition.

Please promote this very deserving member now.

In addition, his AED would like to say:

He has been a constant boon to the house, since he has become QUA the House has risen in the amount of activity it does, enough for us to open a new BT up. And has also covered the position of Envoy while Famosis was on leave and his following resignation until we found a new Envoy. Also he played a major part in the Feud getting a Bronze Nova, and roughly 50 CFs in the process.

Primary reason

Dark Jedi Knight Romulus "Acerbus" Mandalore always has been an active member of House Ludo Kressh. He won a Legion of Scholarship from a Trivia and qualified in the ACC. He even earned his Training Saber although he was already a Dark Jedi Knight for some time already. He occasionally shows presence on irc, talking to people. He greatly enjoys taking part in runons and writes excellent posts. With his latest participation in the runon "The 'True' Brotherhood" he managed to be appointed to the Battle Team Leader of the Iron Fist. It was a competition where the three best participents of house Ludo Kressh in a row of competitions gained the spot of a Battle Team Leader - with Acerbus making the first place and also receiving a Crescent Amethyst. During the feud he impressed with activities in several fields: Writing 2 fictions, doing an image for the graphics part and played Jedi Academy matches, receiving 8 Cluster of Fires from this. All in all he managed to get the fourth highest amount of points contributed for this feud. On the conclave we came to the conclusion that he truely deserves the rank of a Sith Warrior. Congratulations.

KAP Xia Long "Sildrin" Sadow Quaestor of House Ludo Kressh

DJK Romulus Acerbus Mandalore has maintained a high level of activity since his last promotion. winning medals for competitions, Saturday night trivia and Clusters of Fire for gaming, as well as taking part in multiple runons and discussions on the message board. His recent great participation in the Revenge on Ludo Kressh Battleteam competition earned him the position of Sergeant of the Iron Fists where his summit expect him to do a good job raising activity and membership. In addition to this he showed an excellent level of participation in the Aranna Feud for his clan earning an impressive 124 points, the fourth highest score in Clan Naga Sadow. Therefore Acerbus has earned the rank of Sith Warrior.

Malisane de Ath Aedile of Ludo Kressh

To be honest I don't know that much about Acerbus because his activity has always been in areas that I am not familar with, like the run-ons. However, these are areas that are considered vital to Clan Naga Sadow. Acerbus has been a regular presence in #naga_sadow and I've always welcomed his contributions to the channel: it's sort of edgy but not mean-spirited, which is just perfect. What I have said is only one facet of the multi-faceted DB experience of Acerbus. The other parts are in the other recommendations, which I concur with, and therefore recommend a promotion for him.

Revenant
Primary reason

Dark Jedi Knight Revenant is one of the most successful battle team leaders of this clan. He became the battle team leader already as a Guardian several months ago. In several competitions and with his constant high level of activity he managed to keep this position against the rest of the house. He leaded the Sapphire Squadron to the most active and successful battle team here in Naga Sadow. He leads through activity and ran numerous competitions to keep the members of his team active. He earned a Star of Antei, a Steel Cross, several Crescents, a DSS for a submission of the Dark Voice. Currently he works with another member to establish a homepage for the battle team. Still the list of his activities goes on, as he also takes part in the ACC, writing in several runons (even hosting himself a few of those). I am very proud to have him in this house and clan as he is a good example to the others, inspiring them. After all these months the conclave decided it is time for an elevation to Sith Warrior.
Congratulations Revenant,

KAP Xia Long, Sildrin Sadow Quaestor of House Ludo Kressh

To say Revenant is an active Battleteam Leader is like saying the Antartic is a bit on the cold side. When Macron moved onto Aedile last summer, Revenant stepped into the Commander's chair and since then he's maintained a constant level of impressive activity keeping Sapphire Squadron the most active and fun team in Clan Naga Sadow and probably in the Brotherhood. With competitions, runons, a great fictional background, a website, a base, uniforms, and a pet raven as a mascot, Revenant has encouraged and co-ordinated his team members to add real depth and a sense of pride in Sapphire Squadron He's set a benchmark for other BTLs to follow. He also participates and wins his own share of competition medals, easily securing himself another term as Commander in the recent Revenge on Ludo Kressh competition by his level of participation. Therefore Revenant has earned the rank of Sith Warrior

Malisane de Ath Aedile of Ludo Kressh.

Before joining Sapphire Squadron, I hadn't been in a Dark Brotherhood battleteam for 6 years. In those years, I always thought that Battleteams were somwhat useless and I kinda ignored them. However, when I returned to the DB a year ago I was placed in Sapphire Squadron, the only squadron remaining that I named, making it dear to my heart. As a "common member" I came to respect Revenant. Clan Naga Sadow is lucky to have great leadership at all levels, making most Battleteam leaders in the Clan probably wonder what purpose they could possibly serve. Well, Revenant promotes regular competitions, and is a staple in the Clan run-ons, something that I admittedly do not pay attention to, because I don't like run-ons, but a lot of people in the Clan do. Revenant used to ask me advice on competitions he was running. His ideas were good and interesting, and I thought it was great that he was asking me for advice. We all depend on each other in Clan Naga Sadow, and Revenant demonstrates that, through his wisdom and through his humility. He has been a Dark Jedi Knight long enough, and that is why I am submitting this recommendation.

"Ascendant," the Grand Master said slowly and carefully, "what does thou desire of the dark side?" <br>"Mastery," Halcyon replied. <br> <br>I apologise on Jac's behalf that he isn't the one making this announcement but time caught up with him before he had a chance to put everything together. That said, on behalf of the Grand Master I would like to invite everyone to pay tribute to one of the great members of the Brotherhood today, <b>Halcyon Rokir Arconae</b>. <br> <br>Normally it would be necessary for a long list of reasons and accomplishments but today I feel is rather unique given how hard it would be to put into words all the things Halcyon has done over the past two years. Since his elevation to Dark Adept a little over two years ago Halcyon has served in a long succession of positions, starting out again at BTL, then onto AED, QUA, PCON and finally CON, as well as P:CM and later DCM, more recently he has also taken up a position on the CoJ as RHoJ. Halc's line of work has seen him interact with nearly everyone in the DB, something like long list of recommendations recieved on his behalf are evidence thereof. <br> <br>It is rare for someone not on the Dark Council to come so far, it is rarer still for someone who has never been on the council to manage it, but Halcyon has done both. He is living, walking proof that anything is possible in this club if you set your mind to it and it is therefore a great privilege to be able to elevate him today to the full status of <b>Dark Jedi Master</b>. <br> <br>The full, though by no means complete (hopefully Jac will update it when he returns) list of recommendations can be found here. <br> <br>Congratulations, Master Rokir, may you continue to serve your clan proud. <br> <br><font size="1" color="gray">His Eminence</font> <br><font size="1"><b>Dark Jedi Master Xanos Zorrixor</b> <br>Deputy Grand Master of the Brotherhood</font> <br> <br>Halc is... well, Halc. I honestly don't know where we'd be without him. You might not always notice him on IRC, but he does a hell of a lot for Arcona. His mail turnaround time is mere minutes, most of the time. He knows everything that has to be done, and he actually does it. All the time. The best thing about him, though, is that he makes everything look so effortless. I know he spends a lot of time on the DB, yet that never appears to bother him in any way. Never complaining about his workload (which is a lot), never really angry or irritated, he's a beacon of peace and quiet in a tumultuous Clan. And that's what makes him so good. <br>He also just won't go away. And I mean this in the best way possible. <br>He'sbeen involved in the Arcona leadership for as long as I can remember, and I've been here a while. It's also been over two years since his last promotion, and for his exemplary work and tremendous dedication, I think it's only fitting that he gets a promotion to Dark Jedi Master. Congratulations, my friend. :) <br>~ KPN Strategos T. Entar <br>Proconsul of Clan Arcona <br> <br>From the very first day I joined Clan Arcona, I have known that Halc is the never failing support on which Arcona rests. He is the one that you can run to if you feel you've been ripped off by someone, maltreated by a fellow member or misled by some trivial thing in the ACC. <br> <br>Halc is the ultimate in what I think a leader should be. He has enough compassion so that you feel comfortable with telling him your darkest secrets, but also enough authority that you know to not mess with him. Not many people pull that off successfully. He again managed to end a spat between members with one or two soft words, where others try and fail, he succeeds. <br> <br>The feud that he planned with Duga just again proved to me how much he does care. We always knew exactly how things were going, what was going to happen next and what we have to do. The amount of effort he put into that feud, organising it, keeping us updated and happy, was incredible. <br> <br>I look at him and I sincerely wish that if I ever have the opportunity to be a leader, that I will have the same honesty, integrity and compassion he has. <br> <br>His diligent, hard work as CON of Arcona makes him more than deserving of this promotion <br>~ JH Selene <br>House Galeres <br> <br>It is at this point, in the career of a member of the Brotherhood, that it becomes difficult to write a recommendation. Many of the things that are worthy of recognition are catalogued in the testimonies of the awards that have been granted over time…and at this point, that's what it's partly about; time. For quite a while now I have had the privilege of working with DA Halcyon Arconae and he has earned his fair share of merit due to his performance – and now, it is my honor to be apart of the next stage of his career. <br> <br>It is only under specific circumstances that we are lucky enough to get a glimpse of the 'people' behind the Brotherhood's membership, often having to resort simply to the presence they allow – but Halc is one of the few, different ones. Yes, we are a brand of Dark Jedi – as characters; yes, our character's are opportunists of the 'less than cordial' sort on many occasions – which is what makes seeing 'behind' those character's more rare, even 'special' if I may be so bold as to break from my professionalism, for a moment. <br> <br>His time as DCM has shown me much of his actual persona – rather, what I have come to interpret as such; from his willingness to mentor the INI's to his coaxing and direction of the staff, but nothing compares to the admiration he holds for his Clan. The Di Tenebrous Arconae is nothing short of an inspirational, determined and compassionate leader of his Clan. Never have I seen a member so outwardly affectionate of his Clan's success, beyond simply being the 'named individual' who will guide it, as is so often the case. He has taken the burden of failure along with the praise as it's Consul (on all occasions seated) and even as a part of its general population, AED or QUA. But these are not the things worthy of this recommendation, for they have been awarded. Emerald Dagger, Grand Crosses, Stars of Antei and the like are all splendid in their own right – but, again, this is so much more. <br> <br>At the higher levels of the Brotherhood an individual is expected to possess a certain level of ability, specialized or not, concerning the ways of the club and how to interact with it's members, new and old. Reaching the first level of the Elders is almost as pivotal as that first step into a Knight's boots, a monumental change in how one is viewed and even how they see themselves, but any similarity to the rest of the membership ends there. Beyond Adept, there are no awards to win; competitions to run; a frequencies of reporting to maintain; or any of the other 'requirements' that tend to structuralize the steps of elevation. The ED is recommended and has seemed to play a role in the next rung of the ladder – but that can be attained by maintaining the drive one has already possessed and exemplified by reaching Elder status in the first place. Hence, moving on from there is not done or attained by accomplishment alone – rather, by staying the course; running the race; fighting the fight for the good of the Brotherhood and it's members. <br> <br>I am no more capable of saying who has the right to possess such an honor than an APP fresh from the Academy, but there is an air of comparison that must occur when recommending an individual for this elevation of stature. The most sufficient way is to levy the individual against their peers and their potential peers. How does Halcyon measure up to the Elders, beyond the 'game play' aspect of this club? Does he offer his services; does he mind his actions, knowing that they can influence newer members; is he a voice of reason in an environment when opinion can flare the most fragile moods? All of these things can be asked and compared of his peers and all of them can be answered in the affirmative. Delving further; is he pivotal to the outcomes of the careers of the members; is he a mentor as well as a hand of justice and impartiality; does he personify the truer RL elements of this club where nurturing, fun and creation of the environment are concerned? Again, all of these can be answered in the affirmative in the case of Halcyon Arconae. All of that aside, and answered obviously if one only has a glimpse of the Arconae, there is one question that must be answered: Does the individual in question bring honor to this club? That is; does his presence here tarnish the outward vision of the club, or, is he a staple of what it has become and what it is striving to be, in a positive manner? Unless you live under a rock – there is only one answer to the latter part of that question, in regard to DA Halcyon Arconae. He IS a staple of the Dark Brotherhood; he IS, like many of his peers, the personification of the 'dreams' of this club, in all of the aspects of his presence. He has stayed the course, fought the fight and driven himself to ensure the RL integrity of the Brotherhood as well as it's fictional existence. <br> <br>As I have attempted to portray, the next steps in this point of Halcyon's career don't have much to do with the "game" of the club. Instead, they are paralleled more toward the 'real life' intentions, actions and perceptions which "translate" into the club's existence. These are the ideals lost on the newer members because it is still a "game" to them; which is how it should be. The upper echelon's of this club are willingly attuned to the fact that the 'game' is over in some respects, knowing that there's real work afoot, real effort involved and a real 'image' to ensure that the club maintains – these are the things that many don't see. I easily put Halcyon into the same class as Pyralis, Kaiann, Xanos, Sarin etc. and the rest of the higher tier of this club. These are the individuals that cannot be forgotten and are almost synonymous with the mere mention of The Dark Brotherhood – they are it's "soul" if the younger members are it's "body". It is with that idea and the notion that DA Halcyon has, indeed, proven himself beyond all aspects, that I whole heartedly offer my recommendation for his elevation to Dark Jedi Master. <br>~ DA Dalthid <br>Combat Master of the Brotherhood <br> <br>Where do I start to write about this one called Halcyon? I could tell you how much he cares for the Clan, how great an asset he is to the DB in general, or even tell you how much work he puts into the ACC. <br> <br>Well, I guess I could tell you everything he has done fore the DB, but that wouldnt be any good because that will be in everyone's speech anyway. What I can say about him from my own personal point of view is something that can be held dear more than telling you the stuff he probably knows best of all. <br> <br>Halc is to me, as is for others, a rolemodel. He has been and still is a great responcible leader within Arcona. And it amazes me simply on how he keeps his wits and cool when people bash on him, and how he makes the right judgement against the wishes of the people. This shows strength and determination. And I can say those treats are something I would wish to have someday. <br> <br>As a Quaestor, I know how hard being a leader can be, but I do realise that it is a long road before you become one. I respect that in Halcyon. He had helped me without complaining when things were rough, even kept his faith in me when everything tumbled down. It is something I am very thankful for. <br> <br>Halcyon, if anyone deserves this, it is you. Congratulations my friend and my leader <br>~ Draken-Korin Vasarius Romanae <br>Quaestor of Oriens Obscurum <br> <br>What can I say about Halcyon? After working with him in the recent Feud between Clan Taldryan and Clan Arcona I can say he is a excellent leader and wonderful person to work with. I've never worked with Halc besides here, but I have seen his work in Arcona recently and before when he was Consul. I've seen him do great in the ACC with his position there. Halc is just a great person to have around that can do whatever is needed to help out, especially with his Clan. He has common sense, grace, mercy, and loyalty. I think rewarding him for his hard work over the last couple of years is the least we can do. <br>Congratulations my friend. <br>~ OE Duga Arkarso <br>Consul of Clan Taldryan <br> <br>Well what can be said about Halcyon? Well from the day I started the Brotherhood, Halc was very pleasant, helpful and inspirational towards me. I really got to know Halc while doing a co-op acc clan thing, and well from that point I have gone on to being a firm supporter of Halc, even serving as a Aedile to his house, and then under his clan leadership. Halc has a way with diffusing a situation and making sense of dumb mistakes, hes a hell of a leader, and a nice guy. I can say on several occasions he has been a big help, when I need a question answered or had a issue that needed dealt with. Halc I consider a friend, and will always do so. Hes a outstanding member of the brotherhood, serving as a Hand of Justice, DCM in the ACC, and a clan summit. What else can we say that Halc hasn't done here yet? Hes in need of a good award, or promotion and this is the right choice. Hes also a aspiring gamer, that we need to work on. But Cheers to Halc hes a damn nice guy.....and a asset to this club!!!! <br>~ SBM Ma`ar-Tyrius Bruth'Kothae Ga-Tir <br>Tribune (Gaming) of the Brotherhood
