I feel like I'm constantly writing recommendations for Qormus, which is the kind of problem that every Consul wishes that he had. His contributions as a member from a general activity standpoint have been worthy of immense praise in and of themselves, and would stand him in great company amongst other Equites seeking advancement. His work as a leader, however, has been of even greater profile than that again. His work has been exemplary, and his promotion is well earned.

During the recently completed Great Jedi War, Qormus entered 26 competitions and earned 170 points for Plagueis, finishing sixth overall in our Clan. His entries earned him a total of 6 top ten competition placements. Overall, he has entered a staggering 245 competitions since his last promotion. His placements netted him a total of 1 Legion of the Scholar and 85 overall crescents: 13 Diamond, 18 Ruby, 14 Amethyst, 20 Sapphire, 10 Emerald, 7 Topaz, and 3 Quartz crescents. He has also earned 57 Clusters of Earth for his gaming and then 119 Clusters of Graphite for his graphical arts. He additionally earned 14 Clusters of Ice for his 4,328 words of fiction.

His work as a Quaestor has, in my estimation, been without peer in the brotherhood. He has released his House report like clockwork on the same day every month without fail, ensuring that his House is kept in the know of goings on in the Brotherhood. He has provided email updates with competitions listed each weekend for his House members to ensure they are easily able to find activities. Speaking of competitions, he has also hosted 56 competitions since his last advancement, including several competition series and The Great Aliso Spring Clean throughout the month of April to help prepare for the Great Jedi War. His work leading House Ventress over the previous nine months has been absolutely critical to the success of our Clan, with 53% of his house members submitting activities during Great Jedi War XV. He has constantly served as a reliable sounding board in Clan policy and process discussions, while always looking to understand the Brotherhood and its systems in greater detail in order to serve his members better.

Rarely does any Consul get to write a recommendation with such levels of personal activity couple with overall leadership work. Qormus, you have my thanks and the thanks of your Clan.

Well, what can be said about Nora? She is by far the most impressive of the Clan's new members since I became Quaestor more than a year ago. And unlike some who burn brightly only to fade away, Nora, if anything, is becoming more engaged and active in the DB as time goes by. She has a hunger to learn, understand and do that I have not seen personally and I feel she has more than earned this early promotion to the ranks of the Equites.

Just look at her stats since her last promotion on the April 18th. She has participated in 91 competitions and organised one. From those competitions, she has earned 47 crescents (5 Diamond, 14 Ruby, 11 Amethyst, 12 Sapphire and 5 Emerald). Nora placed in 51.6% of the competitions she entered, an astonishing rate of return. She submitted 16 gaming activities earning 83 Clusters of Earth and 11 Clusters of Fire, 3 fiction activities for 3405 words and 7 Clusters of Ice, as well as 33 Clusters of Graphite from 12 graphics competitions. She also passed 8 Shadow Academy courses. Truly astonishing numbers. These are numbers you would see on someone being promoted to EQ2, not EQ1, but so dense is Nora's level of activity that she still achieved such numbers despite only being promoted 86 days ago.

What this means is that as a JM4, Nora earned a Sacramental award. While I assume this has happened before, it must be exceedingly unlikely because any JM who earns a sacramental would have to be obscenely active, which Nora is. That Sapphire Blade was as well earned as this promotion to Equite 1.

But it isn't just Nora's impressive stats that makes her absolutely worthy of this promotion. Myself, along with the Clan summit, had kept a close eye on her rise through the JM ranks and identified her as someone that showed true potential beyond being just a member of the Clan. I approached Slags to bring her on as Aedile and I have been nothing but impressed with her performance. Being appointed on May 1st, a mere few weeks before the start of her first vendetta, Nora was thirsty to learn what she could about how House Ventress operates and her role during the event. Everything that I asked of her she followed through and completed promptly while also having an impressive showing in GJW XV and that is before we see any results. Simply, she has exceeded every expectation I had for her. She is and will continue to be a valuable addition to the Clan's summit.

So, im going to start this recommendation with a little story. When Cryo first joined Taldryan, she came in with a level of energy that was infectious. The Clan warmed up to her almost immediately, to the point where I had both Teebu and Crysenia talking to me about putting her in as Ektrosis Aedile.

Now, considering that she was still relatively new at the time, I was naturally very hesitant to do so. Nonetheless, I went along with it, and appointing Cryo as Ektrosis Aedile has to be one of the best decisions I've ever been talked into.

So, let's go over the pre-war stuff first. Cryo is fundamentally responsible for the development of the Holmes District of Port Kasiya. Including the gangs, what's in the area including illegal nightclubs etc etc.

She also recruited, and has become the master of Koda (formerly known as Robin) who is excelling thanks to her guidance and is well on the way to Knighthood.

Now we move on to the War stuff. I mentioned Cryo's infectious energy before, and she went into Great Jedi War XV with the intention to help Taldryan and its members be the best it can be. Hardly a day passed that I didn't receive a message from her asking if she could help in any particular way, shape or form. This included, but was not limited too, messaging around all of her House members personally to ask if they were doing OK. Anyone who's been a leader in the club knows how important it is to build that connection with the members they lead and serve, especially at a House level. Then, she also helped me with hosting the Great Jedi War Showcase.

That probably needs a little bit of an explanation. Basically, every couple of days or so, I'd advertise one of the GJW comps in Taldryan's private chat in a bid to create some hype and get members to focus on the comp in question. Towards the second week of phase 1, I ended up getting pretty sick and needed to take a couple of days off to recover. Cryo took over the Showcase, and did not allow momentum to falter during the war.

Next, the numbers. Since her last promotion, Cryo has participated in 29 competitions, several of which are from the recent Great Jedi War (which is being graded right now) and has earned the following awards;

Crescent with Diamond Star x2 Crescent with Ruby Star x3 Crescent with Amethyst Star x2 Crescent with Sapphire Star x1 Crescent with Emerald Star x1 Crescent with Quartz Star x1

A member often hits the Equite ranks when they show a true dedication to the club, their fellow members, and their Clan. Its a sign that the member in question is here to stay and make an impact. I believe Cryo fits that description.

What can I not say about my former Student, now already a Master? Ever since leaving my tutelage and stepping into the role of Aedile, she has done nothing but excel beyond my wildest expectations. Even beating me to the punch at a few things when Appius stepped away sick (I was literally in the process of writing a post to promote the war competition showcase, and upon noticing a ping...well, that's Cryo.)

Anything and everything we need to be done, even as Appius said with the development of the Holmes district in Kasiya, Cryo took what I had birthed and gave it form, gave it depth and meaning, meaning which drives the narrative of both House Ektrosis as well as the Clan.

Anytime members need anything, have questions about their character devlopment or any issues, Cryo is immediately on top of it and supporting not just her house but also the clan.

Because of everything you have done, especially in demonstrating your continued loyalty to the clan and that you want to make a true impact in the future of others here, and all of the things you continue to do, you have absolutely earned this promotion.
