Qormus Aquila is simultaneously both a bit of a crusty old veteran and newer member in Plagueis it seems, having returned last year around the last Great Jedi War after a period of inactivity. Since that return, however, Qormus has proven himself more than worthy of advancement to the ranks of Equite 1. In the time since his last promotion, he has entered 57 competitions of various types, earning placement crescents in six of them. He was especially active in the recent PLA/COU feud, entering half of the events offered.. His fiction activity has generated 1,629 words of fiction earning him 3 Clusters of Ice. He has earned 28 Clusters of Earth and a Pendant of Blood for his gaming and 3 Clusters of Graphite for his recent graphics work. His work in the Shadow Academy saw him pass 45 courses and 10 degrees while grading 23 courses and earning 14 Scrolls of Foundation for his service as Magistrate (which will be discussed in more detail by Dacien, the Headmaster he served). His overall contributions to the brotherhood have previously been recognized twice in the form of one each of the Steel and Anteian Crosses.

The Brotherhood would be far less successful without the re-engagement of former members returning to the fold, and Qormus is a perfect example of that holding true. He is one who has persevered and returned to offer his service and activity. Congratulations, Qormus, and welcome to the ranks of the Equites.

Qormus spent approximately nine months as an M:HM, during which time he pitched in to help grading as needed and aided in revising several courses, most notably the new Order CORE courses that launched with the Path/Order system. In addition, he advised on structural changes to the SA, including an overall reduction in professor headcount, which was ultimately implemented after his departure. All of this happened years ago, and this promotion is overdue. Congrats, Qormus!

Sulon is one of those guys who likes to attack his goals like a silent assassin. Everytime I see a graded graphics competition, his name always seems to be attached somewhere among the top 3 placements. His art is one of a kind and he is a respectful and pleasant person to talk to. The Clan has benefited greatly because of his dedication and demeanor and I can't wait to see what the future holds for him. Since his last promotion, Sulon has made a name for himself in an impressive fashion. Taranae Rhode once again has demonstrated to Clan Plagueis how valuable of a leader she is and how grateful we should be to have her in our ranks. Since her prior promotion, Taranae has served as Aedile and Quaestor for a cumulative twelve months, most recently becoming Quaestor of House Tyranus. She has organized or coorganized 21 competitions, participated in a whopping 187 of them, and has a glut of awards to boast about, including a Grand Cross, two Anteian Crosses, two Gold Novae, and seven Seals of Vision from the last GJW.

Tara has always been a welcome and warm presence on Telegram, serving as a reliable mentor for members. Despite coming down with a severe case of COVID and needing to be ventilated, she continued to communicate with her summit and her second in order to keep the clan informed and prepared. She has also managed to continue writing, completing over 11,000 words of it, and continues to be prolific in her lore building and her competition structure.

The membership is key to the clan’s success, and Tara has delivered on that front, mentoring several Plagueians that include Nayc Gai and Sarai Andromeda. We need more supportive leaders like Tara to keep new members active, engaged, and feeling welcomed.

Overall, Taranae has been a consequential and valuable member of Plagueis for many years at this point. We are honored to have her here as an integral support in our clan. From her competition creation to her mentorship, she has demonstrated time and time again that she deserves the highest of accolades.

She displays a dedication and investment in the House, Clan, and Club that goes beyond what is present in most members. Her excellent collaborative skills are something I've experienced first hand as her Aedile and she puts in the hard work and effort to propel her fresh and interesting ideas to fruition. As a member new to leadership, I was quite nervous about taking the leap. Taranae has been an inspiration to me as a leader and a member of Plagueis. When she stepped down as QUA of Ajunta Pall and I took over, she was more than helpful if I had questions. Especially since the only position I had ever held was AED, once in Tarentum and second time in Plagueis of House Karness Muur. Anytime there was something confusing; or I just wanted to talk about the House; or even just random stuff, she would listen, advise, and simply talk with me. I believe just in these merits of leadership and companionship, she has more than earned this promotion.

Since Tashub joined the club I've had the pleasure of seeing one of our newer members rise up through the ranks and prove himself in new challenges. Since his last promotion he has spent 14 or more days in rank, created an approved character sheet, was awarded 4 Clusters of Graphite and 4 Clusters of Ice, joined all our clan channels an discord, and participated in 5 competitions. On top of what was needed he also acquired a Dark Cross for his extra competitions and recruiting!

This alone earns him more than enough for the rank of JM2, but I wanted to put a spotlight as well on his performance in Odan-Urr's feud with Plagueis. This was his first big DB event and during this event he not only hit many of the bins but he also successfully completed a team writing event, which is not always an easy feat! He tried a lot of new things in a competitive environment and I am so proud of him. Moreover, thank you for the time you put into the club. We really do appreciate it.
