I told you that I am proud of my Dark Council, and that today I would show it to them -- well today I am especially proud of our Obelisk High Commander.

Korras has been serving as Obelisk High Commander for a little over six months now. When he was appointed, a few people thought that he would need some help in the position, but Korras has achieved beyond all of our expectations. He has fit in well with the Order Leader role in watching the clans, making competitions. He has worked with Shadow and BF to monitor the Gaming Nights and make them a success.

I was particularly impressed with Korras's work on getting the Rights of Combat completed and on the collection of information for the gaming pages on the website. Korras has a high work integrity, he cares for the members of the Obelisk order, and best of all, he gets his work done.

I am looking forward to what comes in store from Korras -- including the upcoming Obelisk RoS.

Congratulations on your promotion, Korras. Thanks for all you do.

Greetings, again, my friends!

I am please now to be able to honor another member of the Dark Council.

Spears Tarentae has been Headmaster for almost ten months now. In that time he has displayed the characteristics that have set apart the great members from the best members. He is innovative, dedicated, strong and fast. Spears has a workload that we should all admire. He manages a staff that has in the past ten months, managed to grade over four thousand SA tests. They have brought in over 1000 new members through the Test of Lore. Spears himself has kept this staff moving, while at the same time being the contact person for the Dark Brotherhood initiates. Spears is fast on e-mail, despite the large inbox he maintains. His work ethic amazes me.

Spears has innovated in his office by bringing on new changes in courses, the new Test of Lore, and changes in the Envoys. He has worked hard with Anshar to make the Envoys a solid group, and still finds time on the side to work on the other projects. Spears is tremendously talented with graphics -- he has helped design things like our new flagship and Seal medals. He is always willing to assist me in my projects and rarely ever complains when I ask for more work to be done.

I have always been impressed by Spears -- he is a genuinely good person. From his first tasks as a Journeyman, Spears stood out amongst the crowd. As an Equite, Spears has excelled beyond all expectations.

Spears, now, as an Elder, I hope that you will continue down the path that you have started.

I look forward to our continued work together. Congratulations, Dark Adept Spears.

Dan has completed many Shadow Academy exams and written two pieces of fiction (6 pages total) per his masters request. Also, he has incredible IRC presence, chatting with the clannies and offering his ten cents to anyone that doesn't ask for. :P. Also being known to the PCON for great comic relief, I'm afraid I would have to agree with him. Speaking to his master, he also thinks that Dan is ready for a promotion. Congrats!

Daniel has had a strong IRC presence, and been active in day to day activites of the clan. He has been working on Shadow Academy courses, and fiction as well. I agree that Daniel is ready for this next promotion.

Ian has completed a basic shadow academy exam. A basic activity that warrants a promotion to NOV according to our promotional guide.

Doku has excelled in all his duties, he unlike many acts not for himself but for the benefit of others. He is a continual prescence on mIRC, forums and even email. He is also a competitive member, taking part wherever possible and this is clearly demonstrated through an impressive tally of over 50 Cluster of Fires. He has also proven a valuable asset to me personally, always there to help and offer suggestions, I wish we had more members like him.

Finally he was set a trial before earning his lightsaber, one which required the formation and over seeing of a House wide Run-on, which proved an incredible success. Achieving more than 60 posts. For all his hard work, continued comittement towards the Clan I feel he is ready to earn his lightsaber. Congratulations.
