Bucon Saalah has shown great interest and an awesome activity level since joining the DB. He has taken and passed many SA exams. Found IRC and has talked with the members including myself. He has participated in competitions even bringing home a medal for placing. Registered for the IG's and is willing to participate. Completed his Qually match for the ACC. And is constantly doing more and more each day. Bucon will be and is a great asset to Oriens Obscurum. He will be one of the greats within the DB if he keeps his current level of activity. He is very deserving of this promotion.

For sometime now, Merlance has been due for a promotion. Merlance is, whether he realizes it or not, one of the model members of Clan Taretnum. In the course of the past five months, Merlance has continued to be one of the most active members in the Clan. He has continued to be the dominating force in weekly MP comps and the Sunday Invitational tournaments. At the peak of his activity, Merlance successfully completed my challenge of winning 100 CFs in 30 days; something I still feel to be an impressive feat. He has also participated in clan trivia and other numerous competitions. Merlance maintains a friendly and active personality on IRC and is all around a good guy to know. More recently, Merlance ended the XWA Bracket in Join-First place, earning a squadron of TIE Defenders for his Clan. In the end, Merlance is just plain overdue for a promotion and I’m more than happy to elevate him to the rank of Warrior.

Merlance was a benefit to Tarentum when I was Consul, and I believe he continues to help press the Clan to greatness. I was pleased with his performance in the Bracket Tournaments, and wasn't surprised that he made it into the top three, sharing First Place with Rakhai. I think he's more than ready for the promotion to Warrior, and add my support for this, as well.

Completion of the Trial of Mirrors. Since Scorpius came into the DB he has shown me that he has something more to offer than the normal recruit. Recently I tasked him with the challenge of 4 haikus: anger, fear, darkness, loyalty. He also created an extremely detailed family tree for purposes he has not yet seen (in truth, it was better than mine!!!). He also completed a short piece of fiction: Master to Master. The bit of story intrigued me and left me wanting more, the signs of an accomplished writer... couple this with his IRC presence and I think we have an upcoming Leader!

I hereby urge those concerned to elevate Scorpius to the rank of Guardian ~ Braecen Isradia
