While David is an active contributor to the Clan, who can always be counted on to help out in any competition, I would give a more important reason for this specific promotion. Even though he has remained a Jedi Hunter for more than a year, David has stayed loyal to Clan Taldryan. He has been overlooked time and time again for promotion or reward, but instead of getting angry or leaving; David just quietly contributes to his Clan and asks for nothing in return. This Clan loyalty is incredible, especially considering he hasnt even been granted his lightsaber yet!
