I am proud to be recommending Kratus for an Anteian Cross. His work inside and outside of the Feud has not gone unnoticed. This member is a hard working individual who has helped Arcona as a whole and helped improve the level of activity inside of House Galeres. He was thrown in with a team inside of the Feud that ran off of Horizon and kept up with them participating in the competitions as well as helping his team achieve first place in this feud. Keeping in constant touch with the members of his team and working with individuals he didn’t know is no easy feat, but to achieve first place as a whole is something more impressive. As Cethgus and Etah have already told you, Kratus was part of the winning team, and he assisted them in their victory by helping them to third in the Run On. It is my honour to be recommending Monty for this Steel Cross, though he hasn’t been in Galeres long, his work inside of Arcona has already drawn the attention of most. He continued to work hard and push himself to develop further inside of the clan. What got me the most was looking at his participation in the recent feud that followed on from the Event Horizon. He was put with a team he didn’t know and had to quickly make them work together, keeping in constant touch via email and on IRC this guy then went all out himself. Participating in an impressive amount of events and helping Arcona's activity level overall. For this, his hard work helped his team secure first place overall in this event a hard feat by any measure. For all of the above reasons, we are awarding Monty this Steel Cross. I look forward to seeing what he continues to produce in the future. Congratulations Monty and keep the hard work up.

Cethgus Tiberus Entar Aedile of House Galeres

Monty came out swinging in the Arcona/Plagueis Beyond the Horizon Event, he earned Crescents for 3rd Place in the Week 1 Gaming (QWOP) competition and 3rd Place in the Team Run-On Event. Monty also earned 5th place in the Week 2 ID Scan Event. Beyond these three competitions Monty also participated in the Week 1 Acronym Event, Week 1 Trivia Event, and Week 2 Acronym Event.

All of this was accomplished in the first Event Montresor had the opportunity to participate in. His efforts contributed 70 points to the first place Team's score, it is worth noting that first place was only secured by a 42 point margin. While he only joined the DJB only 6 weeks prior to the start of this Event his participation and abilities were key to his Team finishing First Place. Without Monty's contributions the Team would not have been able to hold the top slot in this Event.

As Cethgus and Valhavoc have so eloquently put it, Montresor was a veritable whirlwind of activity during the 'Beyond the Horizons' feud with Plagueis. Montresor only just moved to Galeres earlier this week, so I'm writing this with information that I was given by his former BTL in Void Squadron. Monty is the kind of guy who will put 110% into anything that is put before him. He is quite new to the Brotherhood but seems to have fitted in quite nicely, shooting up through the ranks as one often sees the new breed of leadership do. But this medal isn't about how Monty did outside of the Feud, but how he did within it. Monty was one of the top scorers and was part of the winning team. I'm pleased to see Montresor awarded for his hard work during Beyond the Horizons with this Steel Cross.

I'm writing this recommendation for Etah to receive a Steel Cross for his work in 'Beyond the Horizons', the Feud between Arcona and Plagueis. Etah placed 4th in the Battleplan, as well as participating in [Week 1] Acronyms, [Week 1] Graphics, [Week 1] Poetry, [Week 1] Flash Game (QWOP), [Week 1] Trivia, [Week 2] Trivia, [Week 2] Graphics and he also helped his team to 4th place in the Run-on. Etah's hard work extended further than just participating in the Feud. He also encouraged members of his Battleteam to participate, both of whom assisted their teams greatly, as well as contributing to the overall activity and score of House Galeres. Etah has shown his ability to encourage others and I wish to show my appreciate for his dedication to the Shadow Clan and the Brotherhood at large with this Steel Cross. Congratulations, Etah.

I am proud to be writing a recommendation for Etah to receive a Steel Cross. His participation in the feud was outstanding as well as his hard work and willingness to get the job done. He was given a team that he didn’t know an asked to work with them, a task that he got straight onto by emailing the whole team, as the email chain grew so did the direction of the Run-on as well as the participation that the whole team undertook. He helped his team secure third place and made himself a valued member of the team, giving input and participating as much as possible. From this he learned a new set of skills as well as participating he was also driving his own Battleteam to do the very best they could, leading by example as well as staying in touch with them. I am proud to be recommending Kalon for a Steel Cross. His recent activity and participation in the feud has seen him rewarded with this medal. His hard work, time and effort during the feud have seen its impact on the number and level of participation as a whole. During this feud, Kalon was constantly contacting the members of his team and participating in the events. His participation and placement in these competitions was impressive. As well as this, his constant presence and drive to get himself involved in these events meant he has also been constantly active and around on IRC during this time. Talking with other members of the clan as well as the house. He has helped improve the activity of Galeres in these recent times and boost the output that the House has. As Etah and Cethgus have already said, Kalon has been a veritable beacon of activity. Kalon only recently joined Galeres from Qel Droma but dove straight into things with 'Beyond the Horizons'. The hours that he put into each entry enabled him to place in both graphics and poetry. Kalon is one of my active DJKs, who has quickly proven how valuable a member he is by working with both his Clanmates AND other members of the DB from a different unit.
