Aleister Mavros has been a consistent, active member as well as leader in the three years since his last promotion. He is one of the more active members, especially in the area of Clan community, doing what he can to build both the in character and out of character identity of the Ascendant Clan.

Aleister has put together activity numbers of exceptional quality, with 140 competitions that he has entered over the last three years yielding fantastic medal results: 1 diamond, 7 ruby, 7 amethyst, 9 sapphire, 7 emerald and 2 topaz crescents along with a pair of Gold Novae and 16 Vendetta seals. In addition, always the writer, Aleister has amassed nearly 9,500 words of fiction and a hair over 15,000 words in his 13 RO entries to net himself 50 clusters of ice, while also flashing his artistic chops to the tune of 26 clusters of graphite. He even grabbed a Dark Side Scroll for being named June 2020's Wikipedian of the Month.

He has also served ably as a member of Plagueis's summit consistently for nearly a month over the last two years straight, first as Aedile of House Ajunta Pall for seven months and for the remaining balance as the leader of Battleteam Opress. In the latter role, he created the lore for the Battleteam and the graphics for the unit crest. Most recently, outside of his direct leadership role, he mentored Sinya Ani to the rank of Knight. He has worked tirelessly to provide a positive environment to his clanmates, while being a mentor to the next generation of them as well.

Aleister is a talented and active individual. He has been an example of long term, dedicated service within the Ascendant Clan, making a mark on his new home in the process. I'm glad I could be the one to recognize him for his service by advancing him to the third Equite rank. May this be merely one step upon your journey, as opposed to the end.

I’ve been in Odan-Urr for the better part of six years now, and I’ve watched members come and members go. Jafits is one of the very few who have been a constant presence during that entire time span. He was one of the first people to welcome me in as the Striketeam Ooroo BTL and he continues to be one of my most active and reliable members today. Since reaching EQ3 in July 2015, Jafits has participated in 281 competitions and organized or co-organized 7 more. That included showing up for his clan in three Great Jedi Wars and a Rite of Supremacy, earning 64 seals and 4 novae for his participation in those events. Likewise, he participated in 15 competitions in the recent feud with Plagueis, earning a 5th place finish for himself and 169 points for his clan.

Jscumm is best known as a gamer, as evidenced by his nearly 5000 gaming clusters, 18 PoBs, and at least four GMRG leaderboard placements since his last promotion. However, in the past year he has also revealed himself as a top notch artist, earning 157 Clusters of Graphite for his output. He’s also been very successful in the Shadow Academy, completing 35 courses and earning 3 Maven and 2 Pundit degrees. 22 Clusters of Ice and 6 Legions of the Scholar round out his output. He has earned 120 crescents.

I’ve somehow never managed to help recognize Jafits in any of the seven merit awards, including a Grand Cross, that the COU summit has awarded him in the past five years. Hopefully I can make up for that now. Congrats, Jscumm, and welcome to the EQ4 club!

Though I have only recently become Clanmates with Jafits, I have known him through DBGaming and Heroes of the Storm for the length of the games lifespan in the Brotherhood. He has always been someone who happily jumps in with any gaming group, happy to submit activity or simply participate. As a newer member of Odan-Urr I have begun to see that Jafits activity with the Club at large is just as prevalent within the Clan itself.

Jafits continues to impress again and again. For major events, he is there for you. For small events, he is there for you. For everyday competitions, he is there for you. For gaming, he is there for you. For community events, he is there for you. Jafits isn't the loudest chatterbox but if I've learned anything about him its that he lets his actions do the talking. He is simply there for you.

A consistent presence can be hard to maintain but Jafits makes it look easy. I'd like to spotlight a few examples related to his support to Odan-Urr. First, since his last promotion, he has attended 10 community events, which is huge because the more people attend the more it attracts others. As a steadfast attendee , of particularly trivia jams, he helped us grow a consistent attendance. Second, he provided art to the clan when it needed it most on short notice. We needed some fiction header art for our upcoming [COU-PLA] feud and he really came through for us. Third, during the most recent [COU-PLA] feud acquired 5th place overall and was the 5th Feud Hero.

Jafits is in short a treasured piece of Odan-Urr's community and a wonderful Odanite and friend. On behalf of Odan-Urr, thank you for all the time and effort you put into this club and this clan. We truly appreciate it. Congratulations on your promotion!

Qormus Aquila is simultaneously both a bit of a crusty old veteran and newer member in Plagueis it seems, having returned last year around the last Great Jedi War after a period of inactivity. Since that return, however, Qormus has proven himself more than worthy of advancement to the ranks of Equite 1. In the time since his last promotion, he has entered 57 competitions of various types, earning placement crescents in six of them. He was especially active in the recent PLA/COU feud, entering half of the events offered.. His fiction activity has generated 1,629 words of fiction earning him 3 Clusters of Ice. He has earned 28 Clusters of Earth and a Pendant of Blood for his gaming and 3 Clusters of Graphite for his recent graphics work. His work in the Shadow Academy saw him pass 45 courses and 10 degrees while grading 23 courses and earning 14 Scrolls of Foundation for his service as Magistrate (which will be discussed in more detail by Dacien, the Headmaster he served). His overall contributions to the brotherhood have previously been recognized twice in the form of one each of the Steel and Anteian Crosses.

The Brotherhood would be far less successful without the re-engagement of former members returning to the fold, and Qormus is a perfect example of that holding true. He is one who has persevered and returned to offer his service and activity. Congratulations, Qormus, and welcome to the ranks of the Equites.

Qormus spent approximately nine months as an M:HM, during which time he pitched in to help grading as needed and aided in revising several courses, most notably the new Order CORE courses that launched with the Path/Order system. In addition, he advised on structural changes to the SA, including an overall reduction in professor headcount, which was ultimately implemented after his departure. All of this happened years ago, and this promotion is overdue. Congrats, Qormus!
