I am proud to be recommending Dark Jedi Master Troutrooper for a Grand Cross of the Dark Side. His hard work and dedication in such a short period of time to Arcona has been outstanding as well as his placing in a Feud that has just finished against House Plagueis.

In ‘Beyond the Horizon’, Troutrooper was an active and motivated member. Driving not only himself but his fellow team members forward and helping his team as a whole achieve first place. While this was impressive enough during a feud that followed on from Horizons, he also managed to net himself a second place position. Racking in a number of awards as well as participating in the events that had been laid out during the course of the two weeks that this event was held for. Troutrooper led by example, showing and driving members outside of his assigned team, he was also an example and inspiring presence inside of his Battleteam during this time. Seeing the experienced members throwing themselves fully into this event encouraged the other members to give it their all.

Performing admirably and keeping a constant level of contact with his team members at the same time, Troutrooper’s efforts, time and hard fought victories helped achieve second place overall. His efforts have not been ignored and we truly appreciated the devotion he has shown Arcona. Congratulations on the Grand Cross, I look forward to seeing more from you in the future. Cethgus Tiberus Entar Aedile of House Galeres

Troutrooper was a paragon of activity in the Arcona/Plagueis Beyond the Horizon event. He participated in all 13 of the competitions which were run during it, earning two First Place finishes both Week 1 and Week 2 Fictions, one Second Place finish for the Poetry Competition, and two Third Place finishes for his Battleplan and the Team Run-On Event. His tenacity and skill earned him a total of 212 points during the competition, securing him in 2nd Place overall.

In addition to his individual performance TT consistently worked to assist Montresor with his Run on Fiction. As a new member participating in your first Run On can be confusing at times, and TT was always there to give Monty suggestions on a direction he could go and to help by proofreading his entries.

Well done TT! You've done Galeres proud and deserve every bit of this Grand Cross.

House Galeres of Clan Arcona

As Cethgus and Valhavoc have mentioned, Troutrooper has only been in Arcona a short time, but his activity is phenomenal. This was highlighted during the recent 'Beyond the Horizons' event with Plagueis. Troutrooper narrowly missed out on first place with some fantastic entries to the competitions. TT was also a beacon of encouragement during the event and took it upon himself to help push his team to victory. His assistance to a new member also made me realise just how much of an asset Troutrooper is to Galeres and Arcona. Congratulations, Troutrooper. You've done yourself proud.

I am honoured to be recommending Wes Biriuk Erinos for an Anteian Cross. Being put in a team that he didn’t know, Wes had to quickly get to know the team by communicating with them via email as well as on IRC. After that, he then focused on participating in events for the feud, helping his team in not only getting points but by encouraging them to constantly do their very best. His hard work and efforts in this feud has not only helped him, but helped Arcona and House Galeres with the level of activity that we have seen being produced by our members. Teu participated in five of the competitions during the Arcona/Plagueis Beyond the Horizon Event. These included Week 1 Acronyms, Week 1 Graphics, Week 1 Gaming (QWOP), Week 1 Trivia, and the Team Run-On Event. With Teu's help, her Team placed 5th in the Run-On. Teu is another recent addition to our Clan, coming to us from Clan Naga Sadow. Teu seemed to worry that she wouldn't settle into the House as well as she did. Seeing as she had just completed three years of service as a leader within Naga Sadow. However, despite what she may think, she made that leap admirably. She worked hard to participate, even though the feud was occurring during exam period for her. She took time out of her busy schedule to put in the entries to help her team place as they did. Without her, team 1 would've been a lower place. Teu is one of most valued members, always up to help members and assist in projects, even when she's dealing with issues in rl. I hope this medal reflects the high regard that I hold for Teu. Congratulation Teu.

Her hard work over the past few weeks and participation in the feud has counted towards the overall level of activity that this event has produced. Following on from Horizons, this feud brought random teams to work together, instantly we saw Inarya keeping in touch with her team and pushing the members of it to work as a unit showing the core of what this whole event was about. As if her level of participation wasn’t enough alone, she has herself been a valuable member in helping House Galeres bring up its activity as a whole, being one of the members at the forefront of this and helping the House to achieve a high level of activity in this feud. For all of her time and effort she has put in to Arcona, Galeres and the Horizon follow on Feud I am proud to be rewarding her with a Steel Cross. Congratulations Inarya, keep up the hard work.

During the Arcona/Plagueis Beyond the Horizon event Inarya participated in seven of the competitions, earning a Crescent with Amethyst Star for placing 3rd in the ID Scan event. In addition to the ID Scan she submitted entries for the Week 1 Fiction, Week 1 Graphics, Week 1 Gaming (QWOP), Week 1 and Week 2 Trivia events, and participated in the Run On with her team. Inarya led her Team in the Event with total points earned, setting the example with her level of participation and while pushing other Team Members to press on with the Event.

I am honoured to be rewarding Archer with his first Steel Cross. His work in the follow up feud from Horizons was of a high standard. As well as pushing himself to participate, he also had to work with a team that he was unfamiliar with. His team was faced with tasks that they did not know about, as well as having too keep in constant communication with each in order to gain unity to be in with a chance to place. His activity on IRC, as well as keeping in contact with email saw his team achieve an impressive amount of activity. On a House and Clan level Archer was a member who helped achieve both activity and the placement that Arcona did in this event. On a House level he has been a major part of bringing Galeres' activity up and helping the House restore its constant level of participation in events. Thank you for your help, Archer and keep up the hard work.
