IG 2011 - 2nd Place - Drive

Tirano has only been back in Arcona's ranks for a short while, but is already proving why he was such a valued member before his unfortunate departure to the Rogues due to RL matters. Throwing himself at the IG competitions, Tirano managed to rack up an impressive second place in the 'Control' gaming event thanks to his gaming skill, as well as participating in the 'Freedom' gaming event and Orv's 'Operation: Urgent Transport'. Not only this, but Tirano also participated in the 'Drive' Competition run by Eiko and 'The Old Tome' hosted by Ronovi and Taig. Diversity and drive as well as skill are all present within Tirano's participation in recent weeks, and I fully believe that he is deserving of a Dark Cross for what he has shown during this recent Independence Games.

Solus' recent rejoining of Arcona coincided with the beginning of the Independence Games, and what better way to prove himself to his new clanmates (again) than with a top 15 finish overall in the Games. Having participated in Halcyon's 'Test your Mettle' comp, as well as Orv's 'Operation: Urgent Transport', Solus then went on to show his skills with a victory in Shikyo's 'Gladiatorial Battle' event, thus placing himself 13th Overall in the Games and proving that not only will he participate, he'll win too.

Solus, your work so far has been excellent and I really look forward to seeing what else you have to show us over the coming months. Congratulations on this medal and may many more follow it!

With the recent Independence Games rolling around, we once more saw our resident ProConsul and arbiter of awesome Wuntila prove just why he is regarded as an important member of Arcona, not only for his leadership skills (which are vast), but also his ability and willingness to put the effort in and participate. Proving that quality far outweighs quantity, Wuntila's combination of participation in Orv's 'Operation: Urgent Transport' was coupled with a victory in the 'Report on the Games' multimedia event hosted by yours truly, saw Wun sitting pretty in 14th overall in the Games and placing himself on the distinguished top 15 board and proving his skill for all to see.

Wun, your work was excellent and deserves to be rewarded with this medal. Congratulations Big dog, and long may your skill continue to shine.

The term lead by example has become a common phrase within the DB, many use this important attribute with a disregard of its true meaning. Legorii has not only exhibited his qualities as a member, but he embodies this very phrase. As a BTL he has worked tirelessly inside and outside of Oblivion Brigade to not only enjoy himself as a member, but to set the mark for the rest of his BT to follow. Legorii has really shown his worth in the latest Independent games, wherein, he entered a total of 12 competitions over the two week period. The competitions he entered are as follows: Drive, We’re Where Now?, The Old Tome, Gladiatorial Battle, Pride, Embracing Wrath, DB Coliseum, The Thrill of Success, Report Games/Exodus, Drunken Discord, Test your Mettle and Operation: Urgent Transport, within which he managed to acquire 3rd place in The Old Tome, and Second Place in the Report Games/Exodus competition. This is an astounding feat by a member who has only recently returned from an absence. He has not only dived into the deep end, but he’s come out with the results. The statistics speak for themselves: legorii accounts for 26.6 percent of all Arconan Independent Game entries.

Along with this, he has placed 9th overall in the standings. This is an astounding feat and one that any member would be proud of. You’ve done a fantastic Job, Legs. Keep it up.
