Primary reason

It is with great pleasure that we get to recognize Tyga Orn Nilim for accomplishing all requirements for the rank of Knight! This included his time in rank, having an Academy degree, getting some Crescents, at least seven Clusters of Ice, participating in at least eight competitions and passing two of the Leadership courses!

He also has reached rank four in both the Shadow Academy and Inquisitorius societies, showing further proof of his activity.

I am happy therefor to announce him advancement to Knighthood! Welcome, Shadesworn!

Additional reasons

Tyga Orn Nilim has the tenacious eagerness of the tiger his orange and black striped Twi'lek reminds me of. No matter how busy life kept him, he would always appear with a keen focus on learning about the Dark Jedi Brotherhood, developing his stories, and accomplishing any task he set out to do. Often he would be working on four or more fictions at a time, seeking to take part in the competition prompts his fellow Brotherhood members had put on, sharing his support. Tyga has run his own competitions, which received much interest.

He is the kind of fellow who is open and happy to talk with all those he meets. His creativity knows no bounds, something I was awed by when he shared his star wars generations spanning over thousands of years outside of the DJB. Tyga is the type of soul who cares about others and always looking to help if possible. This need to help spans from offering to collaborate with peers in fictions or competition organizing, to volunteering as a firefighter.

I feel honored having a chance to work with Tyga Orn Nilim. Congratulations, Tyga! May the Light guide you through these shadows!

Primary reason

Since her last promotion in July last year, Alaisy has been cutting a bloody swathe through the DJB. A real tour de force she’s run or co-run a combined 13 comps and participated in a whopping 113. For her amazing activity, she’s received countless crescents, including seven Diamonds, ten Rubies, and ten Amethysts (to mention just the cream of the crop). In addition, she’s been drowning in clusters (all 166 of them), of which a frankly ludicrous 64 are of the Graphite flavor. This is hardly a surprise, as Alaisy is an artist born and bred, having served seven months as Magistrate of the Herald and earning a Sapphire Blade (!) for her outstanding service!

During the last Great Jedi War, she took out all the stops and kicked so much ass that her shiny boots surely needed special polish to combat all the smell of butt! How do I know? Because she earned the title of the Second Heroine of the Thirteenth Great Jedi War!

House Qel-Droma has also been enriched by her generous presence, having served as Aedile to yours truly for a most delightful three months and truly having been an asset in running the best House of the best Clan (in this lekhead’s opinion anyway). She served her term with professionalism and care, ensuring everyone in our House was feeling welcome, and that all relevant information about the House’s activities were reported in time for prompt promotion and awards.

As a magnificent member of House Qel-Droma, I am more than happy to have this Shiny Sith with us. She truly has an extraordinary talent of creating wonderful and weird things that delight and fright, whilst always remaining upbeat and friendly. I cannot express how well-deserved this promotion is and I have a feeling it is far from the last that this latex-clad Sith Arcanist will receive!

The next ritual supplies are on me!

Additional reasons

Alaisy is a Force to be reckoned with. As a leader, she was incredibly efficient at getting her work done, and in a timely manner. She pushed her unit to be stronger and helped train a darn good BTL in Karran. Since getting promoted to the Equite ranks, she has been nigh unstoppable. Real-life took her away from leadership, but she is still a leader in Arcona.

Aways around to help out her fellow classmates when they need it, she has proven time and time again to be one of this club's best newer members. I have been so proud to watch her on her journey within this club.

Equite 2 is not a simple rank to earn, but she has done so with relative ease. Between her works with the Herald’s office and our own clan, I fully believe her to be ready for this promotion. Congratulations Alaisy and welcome to Equite 2!!!!!

It is impossible to say enough nice things about Alaisy. And frankly, this is a good thing, because she is constantly doing things that get her awards! Since her arrival in the club, she has proven herself to be an active and indomitable person. As a result of this, she has shot up the ranks. There were times when I genuinely felt like I was writing a new recommendation for her a month!

In addition to her activity, Alaisy has been extremely generous with her time, serving as both an Aedile of House Qel-Droma and as a member of the Herald's staff. In those roles, she proved that her talent for leadership and management was outpaced only by her artistic talent.

If I knew of a Sith ritual to clone Alaisy, I would do so in a heart beat. She is helpful, creative and just generally a positive presence that is a joy to interact with. I can genuinely say that my day is made brighter in chatting with her, and I do not think I am alone is saying that.

EQ2 is a huge accomplishment, and I can think of few who are more deserving. Congratulations, Alaisy!

Alaisy is an absolute treasure to have around, both as a fellow summit member and a member of my sub-unit. She’s consistently active in both competitions and non-site related activities. Even after she stepped down as Aedile, she’s been an invaluable source of help to me in my efforts as BTL.

She and I joined close to the same time, (she a little bit before myself) and it has been amazing to watch her growth. It has been one of my greatest privileges to work alongside her for the benefit of Arcona and the DJB.

I am in full support of her receiving her promotion to Equite 2 and it is my honor to do so.

Mystic (Equite 1)

Seer Xolarin
Primary reason

Our Verpine, slicer friend Hilgrif has become an integral part of our House and Clan and the measure of ideal activity, especially in gaming and clan participation. He has also become a keen member of the summit, assisting with everything from Clan/House events, Runons, co-op fictions and battleplans, and more. He really does try to help where he can.

The two greatest consistencies for Hilgrif are his activities and his involvement in the clan. Since his last merit in October of 2019, Hilgrif has performed and achieved the following:

  • 4 Diamond Crescents
  • 1 Ruby Crescent
  • 3 Amethyst Crescents
  • 3 Sapphire Crescents
  • 1 Emerald Crescent
  • 12 Clusters of Fire
  • 2 Clusters of Ice
  • 92 Clusters of Earth
  • 5 Clusters of Graphite
  • 3 Organized Competitions
  • 24 Competition Participations
  • 1100+ words of fiction and 18 gaming matches

Since being Knighted just over a year ago, you can basically double the crescents and quadruple the competitions, gaming activity, and Clusters. You can also add a Steel Cross, an Anteian Cross, a Gold Nova, a Silver Nova, 7 Pendants of Blood, and 18 Seals of Discord. If this is not the prime example of action and consistency, I don't know what is.

Hilgrif has also become a critical member of the clan. He is constantly on Telegram chatting amongst the clan members, and was one of the true clan "champions" of the GJW XIII and our own Clan event series.

Knight Hilgrif, come forward and be recognized and lauded as Mystic Hilgrif. Let your example bleed into others, that they may follow suit. Congratulations, Equite!

Seer Xolarin, 2020-03-03 14:18:32 UTC
Additional reasons

Hilgrif is a outstanding member of the Clan. Even though we are in different Houses, Hilgrif's presence is always felt throughout the Clan. He is a constant member of T/G, he is a solid participant in comps throughout the club. He has also established himself as a pretty stout gamer amongst the Clan. He is always energetic and eager to help. As previously stated, since his last recognition, Hilgrif has been a solid source of activity and garnering himself an impressive dossier of activity and club participation. He has established himself as an up-and-comer that we cannot overlook. I am honored to recommend him for this well deserved award!

Adept DarkHawk Sadow, 2020-02-23 15:28:12 UTC

It cannot be overstated how critical Hilgrif is to the gaming culture active in Naga Sadow over the last year or so. For a knight to have changed the culture in such a way so profoundly is impressive, to say the least. We went from a clan with only sporadic gaming presence to one that actually can challenge and hang with the big dogs. And that's not even all he does. He's almost always available on telegram, constantly pushing for the house (and by extension, the clan) to do more, trying to get people to do more for our Ancient Empire. He's got eyes on for practically every project or program or event that we have been pushing through to help reform our clan and hone it into what we all need and want it to be, and he is reliably responsive if anyone needs help with just about anything. It's frankly inspiring, and indicative that he has skill and drive well beyond what his present rank indicates. It is my distinct pleasure to be able to add my name to the list of people calling for Hilgrif to be inducted into the equites. Thank you for all that you have done, and for all that I know you will continue to do. ~Muz Ashen Keibatsu, the Lion of Tarthos

Lord Muz Ashen Keibatsu, 2020-03-01 03:58:27 UTC

Where to start?

Well, I could restate the effect that young Hilgrif has had on the gaming culture of Clan Naga Sadow as others have. I could point out how he has tried to compete, having placed a number of times on the Grand Master Royal Guard's Leaderboard. I could compare his number of clusters or other accolades to those of his peers. I do feel that this is only a partial view of the member that Hilgrif is.

Even since Hilgrif reached the rank of Knight, he has spent a great deal of time trying to figure out how to improve things for the Clan and the Brotherhood. Many mornings have been spent with Hilgrif trying to figure how to optimize gaming competitions. Let me be clear: Hilgrif has been trying to build better competitions. He has also talked and brooded over ways to encourage activity, including gaming, among the Clan. While things like fiction are not his greatest strength, Hilgrif has not completely shied away from acitivities outside of his gaming corner. While he still has some areas to refine, I do have to confess to feeling a bit impressed. He has really not been with the Clan all that long, and yet I think the energy and effort he has put into trying to improve aspects of both the Clan and the Brotherhood make him a fitting addition to the rank of our Equites.

Congrats, Hilgrif. Hope this is but one of many, and the best is yet to come. I believe once you find your niche, we will see you flourish beyond what we can reckon just now.

I can think of few people more deserving of promotion than Qyreia. He is an invaluable member of the clan, whose energy and activity is difficult to match. Since his last promotion, Q has organized 15 competitions and participated in 128 competitions. He never fails to give it his all, which has earned him 2 Diamond Crescents, 11 Ruby Crescents, 18 Amethyst Crescents, 19 Sapphire Crescents, 11 Emerald Crescents and 1 Topaz Crescent. He has also earned 11 Clusters of Fire, 200 Clusters of Earth, 27 Clusters of Graphite and 5 Pendants of Blood. A prolific writer, he has earned a whopping 200 Clusters of Ice and written 75,892 words of fiction. His exemplary performance earned him the title of First Hero of the Rite of Supremacy: Meridian, in addition to 3 Gold Novae, 1 Silver Nova and 3 Bronze Novae. His activity has also netted him a Grand Cross.

When he is not kicking an obscene amount of butt in competitions, Q is busy setting an example for other members to follow by serving in a number of positions within the club. He served for 10 months as Magistrate to the MAA, which earned him a Sapphire Blade. He also served as Quaestor of House Galeres for a little over a year, where he worked hard to spur activity, including spearheading a major story-driven event. Not content to be idle, he is currently serving as Magistrate to the Voice.

In addition to these leadership activities, Q has taken a significant interest in the overall health and prosperity within the clan. He frequently runs House-related roleplaying sessions, which help to inspire activity within other members. He also is quick to offer suggestions and constructive criticism to aid in the continued improvement of the House and Clan as a whole. Furthermore, he is always quick to answer questions on Telegram and to inject his unique brand of sense of humor to the conversation.

Truly, Q is a powerhouse of activity, and a welcome and active personality within the Clan as a whole. His promotion to EQ4 has been a long time in coming, and is well-deserved. Congratulations on your promo, Q! Drinks are on you tonight!

Additional reasons

No one can dispute the hard working nature that Q has about himself at any given time. No matter what he is doing, whether it is helping run RP events in the house chat or organizing comps for us to enjoy, he is a ray of dedication that is sorely needed.

I can go on and on about his activity if given the time. But needless to say both as a member and as a leader there is nothing more that I could ask for in him. You have more than earned this promotion, my friend. Keep doing the good work and congratulations!

Obelisk Adherent Rrogon Skar Agrona, 2020-03-01 02:06:32 UTC

Since becoming Quaestor I’ve seen Qyreia as a beacon of activity within the clan and producing many competitions for members to participate in. Also within Telegram he always shows a presence, interacting with other members. I generally always see him either participating in the roleplay or hosting a roleplay session. Keep up the good work, look forward to seeing more from you.

Junazee, 2020-03-01 02:07:11 UTC

For ten months Qyreia was a Quaestor of mine while I was Consul, a time etched in memory and legend. He was a good little red leader, he was approachable, handy in discussions, and a source of knowledge. Even with his real-life military duties taking his time in a non-negotiable manner, and taking the time to reproduce (congrats again!), he found time to be an active and able leader of Galeres. And for that, I say thank you, Q.

I am so proud to see you reach this new height, and I look forward to the inevitable next one! --Kordath

General Stres'tron'garmis, 2020-03-01 02:08:01 UTC

Q is one of the hardest working individuals that I know. When working alongside him on the Arconan Summit, he was always there to assist, answer questions, and lend an ear to his fellow leaders. He is a true leader in every meaning of the word, and continues to show this even though he is not currently on the Summit. He took a short break from the club when his child was born, but since his return he has been a force within this Clan.

Q is responsible for the current state of Arconan Roleplay. As Quaestor, he and his summit created the template that we are utilizing for our highly successful RP ventures in our House chats. This has directly led to Arcona being even more active than we were before, and has even brought new faces to the activity pool. If not for his innovation, and continued work to this day, I doubt we would be in the amazing position our Clan is in.

Q’s activity is well documented in Lucine’s recommendation, but it shouldn’t be understated how effective Q is. Not only does he participate, but he tends to win. Out of his 117 competition he has participated in, he placed in 66 of them. That is an average of 56%!!! This exemplifies the hard work he puts in as an active member.

I am proud to have Qyreia in Arcona, and to call him a friend. Q congratulations on reaching EQ4, you deserve this and more!

Junazee is without a doubt a powerhouse when it comes to activity. Since her last promotion, she has organized 21 competitions and participated in 239. She has earned 1743 clusters of fire and 93 clusters of earth for her gaming activities. She has also earned 54 clusters of graphite and 5 clusters of ice, proving that she is quite the multitalented individual. She has acquitted herself well in the past few Vendettas, earning 18 Seals of Wrath, 16 Seals of Fury and 14 Seals of Discord. She has also passed 9 SA courses and earned 2 degrees. She was awarded the Grand Cross and the Steel Cross for her past activity. Most notably, she has also earned an Amethyst Kukri and a Sapphire Blade for her efforts as a member of the Fist staff.

Though I have not had the opportunity to work with Junazee for very long, I can honestly say she has been a welcome addition, both to Arcona’s leadership team and to the clan itself. She has already taken point in creating a house-related activity tracker to ensure members are awarded promptly. She has also made her presence known in the myriad of clan and house associated chats as she becomes more acquainted with both Arcona and Galeres. Having seen first hand her boundless energy and dedication, I am proud to recommend her for promotion to EQ4. Congratulations, Juna! You truly are an example to us all!

Additional reasons

Junazee has been in the Fist office since March of 2017, first as Magistrate followed by her elevation to Praetor in May of 2018. During Junazee’s time as Praetor she has been the Taskmaster of the Fist office. Anyone that has served as a Magistrate over the past two years (myself included) knows that Junazee does a fantastic job of getting newbies up to speed on Fist policies and procedures. With a staff that rotates regularly, this is no small feat.

On top of training duties, Junazee works extremely hard to ensure that the staff is always meeting their service standards. Whether that is the 24-hour approval time on submissions, submitting monthly GMRG submissions on time or grading competitions in a timely manner, Junazee always shows a commitment to excellent service standards. Junazee has also put up with three separate Fists in her tenure and it isn’t an accident that the gears kept turning within the office through the transitions between new Dark Councilors. Her experience and professionalism has helped elevate the entire office for the past three years.

When I began my tenure Junazee was both a guide and a confidant. For example, she assisted me with both developing and analyzing the engagement survey from the end of 2019, helping design the questions and to put the results in context. She is also someone I trust as an initial sounding board for new ideas before I bring them to the rest of the Dark Council. The time she has spent managing the gaming functions of the club gives her a level of insight only gained with experience.

Junazee, on behalf of not just myself but the other Fists you have so admirably served in your tenure, I want to thank you for all that you have done over the past three years. All of us in the gaming community have benefited from your diligent work. You have already done so much for this club and I look forward to watching your leadership career within the Dark Jedi Brotherhood continue to develop.

Raiheaux, 2020-02-24 18:08:06 UTC

When I selected Junazee to serve as P:Fist back in 2018, she was already a proven member of the Fist staff. Little did I know that her work as a magistrate was only a small sample of what she brought to the table.

As my Praetor, Junazee showed time and time again that she is one of the most dedicated, organized, and hard working people in this club. I have had the opportunity to Reward her with a sacramental award not once, but twice. Her Sapphire Blade highlighted her exceptional work in creating content and processing gaming activities, and her Amethyst Kukri highlighted her unparalleled ability to manage a staff, through the on boarding of new magistrates and organization of monthly and quarterly GMRG competitions.

The number of competitions and activities she ran and reviewed is massive: over 200 competitions and hundreds of gaming activities. Her efforts ensured that members always had some to do in the gaming realm, and also that they received clusters and pendants in a timely manner.

Above all, Junazee is a leader in the truest sense of the word. She can clearly articulate vision and drives others to the accomplishment of that vision.

This is a long time coming. I am incredibly fortunate to be included in this recommendation for her elevation to Equite 4, the last of the Equite ranks. For many, this is the pinnacle of advancement in the club.

For Junazee, this is merely a stepping stone towards her inevitable elevation to the Elder ranks.

Congratulations, Juna. Thank you for all your hard work and for being such an awesome advisor, confidant, and above all, a good friend.
