It has been quite a while since Gaius Julius Caesar has received a promotion - in fact, it’s been almost nine years. And as the years have gone by, it’s clear that his work and activity ought to be recognized. Unfortunately, while some of his activity logs have been lost due to the various changes to the Brotherhood website, I firmly believe that he has more than earned his promotion to the third Equite rank.
Since his last promotion, according to the site’s numbers, Julius has participated in 140 competitions. He has written over 15,000 words for writing competitions, passed 63 Shadow Academy courses, and earned seven Shadow Academy degrees. He has also amassed a variety of awards and accolades, including five Clusters of Graphite, 37 Clusters of Ice, four Crescents with Emerald Stars, four Crescents with Sapphire Stars, five Crescents with Amethyst Stars, eight Crescents with Ruby Stars, four Crescents with Diamond Stars, a Bronze Nova, two Anteian Crosses, and two Steel Crosses. In the latest Rite of Supremacy, he earned 12 Seals of Fury, and in the most recent Plagueis event, Nightmare Before Sithmas, he participated in eight out of ten competitions. His activity in competitions and his presence on Telegram are indicative of his dedication to the clan and its members.
However, it’s not just his participation in events that warrants praise. Since the beginning of 2018, Julius has been a regular member of the clan podcast (PlagCast), offering his insights from his non-leadership role in Plagueis. He has served as a mentor for various members who wish to see their work in the club improve, and he has consistently served as a team player when it comes to vendettas and events, encouraging members to participate and offering his services as needed. Most recently, Julius has expressed interest in creating more competition outlets for Journeymen, as his wish is to provide more opportunities for our lower-ranked members to shine. This is immensely admirable to me, and it proves that you do not have to officially be in a leadership position to actually be a leader.
It is my honor and privilege, consequently, to recommend Julius’s promotion to EQ3. It’s been a long time coming, my friend, and you have truly earned it.
~ Ronovi Tavisaen, Dread Lord’s Wrath of Plagueis
Julius may not hold a leadership position, but he is a community leader, always reaching out and checking in with others, whether that be in everyday conversations or pushing for activity in competitions or events. Julius is someone I have seen constantly striving for not only the best in himself, but others as well. When a call went out for members to join the PlagCast as a host, Julius stepped up and offered to be the voice of the “regular member” and has done an incredible job so far, adding his own unique perspective to the podcast and both answering and asking questions that his fellow hosts may not have considered due to their own leadership positions. I am always impressed by what Julius has to offer, and I look forward to seeing what the future has in store for him. This promotion is a long time coming and well deserved, my friend - now Quit Your Wining!
~TuQ’uan Varick, Quaestor Of Karness Muur
Julius has been a highly valued member of the clan for some time, and it is a great pleasure to finally recommend him for a promotion. Though he’s been in and out of the clan over the years, whenever he’s been around, he’s been active and engaged. He’s always been willing to offer ideas and thoughts from his extensive experience in the DB. As Ronovi mentioned, Julius has been a regular on the PlagCast since its reboot and has been an excellent addition to the team. Working with him has been a pleasure, and I hope to see a great deal more in the future.
Congratulations on this promotion - hope to see more in the future!

From the point of joining COU and Hoth, Dral has made great efforts to show his support for the porgs by his accomplishments in the community. Since his previous promotion, Dral has been greatly active with 44 total competitions with taking home 1 Crescent with Ruby Star, 2 Crescent with Amethyst Star, 2 Crescent with Sapphire Star, and 1 Crescent with Emerald Star. In addition to his participation in competitions, he was substantially active in the Rite Supremacy with 18 Seals of Fury and winning several of those competitions. These competitions include 8th in Faction Creation, 21st in Jedi Academy Bracket, 24th in the PVP battles, and 4th in the X-Wing Fighter flash game. Outside of what has already been listed, Dral has also received 6 Pendants of Blood, 27 Clusters of Fire, 9 Clusters of Ice, 185 Clusters of Earth, and 12 Clusters of Graphite. Other activities in DJB include 21 Shadow Academy courses and 5 degrees obtained in total.
To be awarded the rank of Equite is one of the greatest honors that one canreceive and Dral is well deserving of this promotion. This is a big step from Journeyman IV and sets in motion success for the future. With great honor, I wish to express appreciation for your contributions and I know I will continue to see great things from you in the future.

Dral proved himself. Plain and simple. He's still got more he can prove to CoU and the DB too. During the RoS, he would hit multiple contests within the same bin. If you take into consideration both of his activity in the collaborative bin, he was part of both the Run-On team AND making a faction. He voluntarily worked with Nefin to do the faction creation, so that Nefin could have a chance to hit that bin. He went out of his way to guide and help a member be active and participative when he didn't need to do that extra competition, it wouldn't have made much of a difference unless he placed. He had a newer member in mind, which shows the servant style of leadership. Dral is credible both as a caring member the DB wants to keep around and to a responsible leadership position when the next one becomes available to him. He's a treat in chat, but more so he's busted his tail as much as I have in both enjoying and helping the DJB. If I made it to EQ1, he definitely deserves it too. His activity before, during, and even after the RoS proves it.
Creon Neverse, 2018-12-13 21:59:01 UTC
Dral is a whirlwind of energy with a propensity to flip everything in sight, including his own PCON. Since he has joined Odan-Urr he has been a great member and a steady contributor to our community, both as a valuable addition to our TG channels and as a recruiter for new members. This even included helping his recruits learn the DB during a very busy Rite of Supremacy event. People tend to forget how much work it takes to individually coach new joins through big events but I promise you it’s not trivial. In addition, he has engaged in conversations pertaining to fictional aspects of his House, showing an urge to help not only himself but his fellow house mates as well. These opinions from our members are crucial to a well functioning team and greatly appreciated.
Overall, I believe that he has shown us that he is ready for Equite, in both activity and where he directs it. I am excited to see his future accomplishments in the clan and am proud to recommend that Dral be promoted to the rank of Equite 1. Congratulations on your promotion!!!

Since the previous promotion, Nefin has proven himself in terms of activity as he has taken away from the 12 competitions he has participated in a 1 Bronze Nova, 1 Crescent of Emerald, 56 Clusters of Earth, 12 Clusters of Graphite, and 10 Seals of Fury (with participation in the Rite of Supremacy). Of the 12 competitions (with containers), he has participated in a various amount of competition types (without containers being 9). He has also passed one of the courses from the Shadow Academy and participated in DB gaming as shown with his CE awards.
From what I’ve seen with Nefin, he is a strong and level headed individual who works hard upon his skills within DJB, as seen having earned a Bronze Nova in the recent RoS. With this, I would like to recommend him for a promotion to Knighthood.

Talking to Nefin about the brotherhood started a bonfire of activity I did NOT expect. He's the "A-List" type for getting things done. He wiped the floor with the SA, his Prometheus reports, and RoS activity all within the same timeframe. I can't imagine what having to reel it back post RoS is like for him. Actually, I can. He's been actually still going strong even after his activity in the RoS. Guy is hitting and making comps to keep the energy high. He talks to others, both sharing his experiences and learning from those who have been around in the club longer. There's a long-term interest, and with that kind of activity level in the long term, no doubt he will someday make great changes to make the Brotherhood a better website than it was yesterday. Just like we all want to keep doing for the DJB. Welcome to DJK.
It may not seem much now, Nefin, but it's the best rank in the club.
Creon Neverse, 2018-12-13 17:41:26 UTC
It is an understatement to say that Nefin hit the ground running once he transferred in to COU. After coming to us from the rogues and almost immediately reaching JM3, Nefin wasted no time in throwing himself at the Rite of Supremacy. He earned full participation during phases two and three and earned credit for three event-long bins. Given how close and hard-fought the event was, I can say that having a new member like Nefin was a stroke of incredible luck for us and we're very happy to have him. I look forward to watching his continued rise through our ranks.

I was first introduced to Tex when he joined House Satele Shan when I was Aedile. He has always been very kind, asking everyone how they are doing and wishing them a good day, which continues to this day. Not long after he transferred, his master had to leave due to real life. This did not deter Tex, he continued participating in all the events he could. Mind you, Tex is mostly participating on his iPhone and has still managed to participate in, since his last promotion 11 competitions (1 fiction, 1 graphics, 4 regular, and 5 timed), and 3 container competitions, including the Rite of Supremacy . These competitions have netted him 320 words of fiction, a Dark Cross, & 2 Seals of Loyalty. In the same timeframe Tex has completed 25 Shadow Academy Courses, earning himself 2 Degrees (Dark Maven - Historical Legends & Dark Pundit - Vendetta), & 57 Academic Credits with an average of 88.64% .
It is my pleasure and honor to recommend Yeoman Tex for promotion to Professional. Congratulations Tex, I am extremely happy for you and look forward to watching you continue to grow in the Brotherhood. Nothing feels as good as being a JM4.

Where do you even start with Rulvak's fricken numbers? Since February of 2017 he's pulled 185 competitions, participated in over a thousand PvP/PvE matches and activities and 11 fiction activities as well as 6 Run On posts (often done by himself to qualify for participation in events, crossing the line at the last moment and earning Arcona valuable points!). He also continued his learning experiences, passing 7 Shadow Academy Courses.
On the shinies front, just, wow. Okay, he's picked up a Sapphire Blade for being awesome, a Steel Cross and an Anteian Cross! On the novae front, he's picked up 4 Gold Nova, 5 Silver and 2 Bronze! Outside of vendetta events he's picked up 28 Diamond Crescents, 19 Ruby, 23 Amethyst, 12 Sapphire, 5 Emerald and 3 Topaz. On the gaming front, he's picked up an insane 36 Pendants of Blood, 7,332 Clusters of Fire, 8,767 Clusters of Earth! Along with that was 16 Clusters of Ice and 47 Clusters of Graphite for his writing and arting efforts!
Rulvak is a powerhouse of gaming and activity, and while he's not held an official leadership position in this time, he's actively encouraged others to be, well, active. Whether it be carrying them in gaming or being there when you need a teammate for a Vendetta event, Rulvak is insanely reliable and always a good sport. He's a model member of Arcona and I'm proud to see him ascend to Equite 4!

Warp (aka Rulvak) makes me wonder what he does outside of Telegram and the Club. The guy is a powerhouse of activity the likes of which I can’t quite fathom, nor could ever frankly hope to match. He’s active on Telegram and an activist for gaming. He doesn’t simply content himself with playing the games; he promotes fair play and jolly cooperation with his fellow members within the Brotherhood. What’s more, he even manages to get the non-participants — those members who you wonder if they’ll Rogue-out this month — to join in the fun and frolicking.
In all honesty, I don’t know Warp near as well as I should, nor half as well as I’d like. That is my own failing. From what I’ve seen though, he’s a good guy. He’s someone I would want on my team when the situation called for it. I can’t say much more than that, other than that I support the recommendation to promote him to Equite 4.

Dedication when talking about this word and trying to apply it to someone, you really need to consider what the word really means when used on a person. I can say without a doubt that Warp(aka Rulvak) is the most dedicated member of House Galeres that I have seen in a while. Not only has he rocked it out in competing in competitions his participation alone in gaming makes him stand out among the crowd, above all else no one can say he is not dedicated to his craft.
I for one am proud to give this award, You more than deserve every bit of it and more.

In all honesty I’m not particularly sure where Warp gets the time to do everything he does. Not only is he the most active gamer I have ever seen, he’s a constant dedicated presence in Arcona an to the club in general. In addition to all this, he’s also genuinely a nice guy and fun to hang around with, even outside of the club. I can’t think of any better way to show appreciation not only for a dedicated and active member of the Club, but for a friend than to award Warp this promotion. Attaboy, Warp.

It would be easy to take a member like Warp for granted. He is a powerhouse of activity...but he is so consistent with it, that at times it nearly fades into the background. You just expect that he never sleeps, never eats - that he breathes the Brotherhood. And his stats over the two years since his last promotion bear that out. Warp, or Rulvak Qurroc, has earned more Clusters, Crescents, Seals, and Novae since his last promotion than most members will in their entire Brotherhood career. It is impossible to overstate the impact that he has made in the Brotherhood's gaming community, or the quiet but consistent manner in which he pushes those around him towards greater levels of activity through his sheer, unceasing presence. If there's a gaming competition open, he'll be in it. And more often than not, he'll place or win it as well. More than that, he's a genuinely fun and nice person, and consistently has kind words or a good-natured ribbing for everyone he plays with.
For his tireless drive and his unflagging string of victories, it is my pleasure to recommend Rulvak Qurroc for elevation.
