After some great activity, Zeline Nemesis has fulfilled all of the requirements for a next promotion. It doesn’t happen every day that a members jumps in and does it all. If not for the 28 days required in her current rank we would have been writing this recommendation way sooner, and therefor I’m proud to do so.

Only recently, Zeline was awarded her second Dark Cross, a reflection of great activity. While one requirement for this promotion is to participate in a total 15 competitions, this Padawan decided to add ’a couple’ and be part of more than double (36), grabbing an Emerald Crescent along the way. As by the previous you can see her love for competitions, she decided to host two fiction competitions herself.

Fiction is something Zeline loves, and she’s amazing at writing it, uptill now this Padawan has written over 3000 words of character fiction (having a total of six Clusters of Ice) . Aside of knowing how to use a pen, Zeline knows how to use a pencil as well, this earned her a total of 17 Clusters of Graphite.

Like that isn’t enough, Zeline found the time to game (32CFs total) and wander through the halls of the Shadow Academy. She has been following courses, under which the Leadership Management Course, earned her Dark Maven in Philosophy and climbed up to rank four in the SA.

Zeline has been a delight since her very first day in COU. She's a constant, warm, and friendly presence on Telegram. While Ranarr detailed the impressive breadth of Zeline's activity above, I think it's also worth noting that she participated in 15 competitions during GJW XII, one of those situations where we needed her activity the most. She made a significant contribution to COU's eventual victory, participating in 10 different bins, including all of the bins for phases 1 and 2.

Adding to the fine data of our RM and CON, Zeline has been a superstar within her respective battleteam, Tython Squadron. Her actions here, truly taking a step into the larger ongoing operations of a unit are a sign of growth and are in keeping with the path to Knighthood.

She has actively strived to advance and be a vibrant member of the unit. She is constantly present in the BT Telegram group and in emails. Overall, her presence is a strong one and one that has impact at the organizational level and is indicative of a selfless character and one trying to make the jump from a consumer to a producer of content that is a hallmark of the Knight and above ranks.

Beyond this, her performance speaks for itself. She submitted to 100% of the Basic Flight Training event competitions netting herself a Crescent. Beyond this, she is well rounded as a gamer, artist, and writer gaining 24 Clusters of Fire, 3 Clusters of Ice, and a Cluster of Graphite while in her service to Tython Squadron.

Overall, Zeline has indeed hit all of her required milestones, has the character and temperament deserving of such an honor, and has worked hard to establish a place for herself within the Clan. Congratulations Knight Zeline.

Some people would get disheartened if they didn't blitz through the ranks in minimum time, Oric Ral is not one of those people. Instead, he seeks to improve within the time constraints placed upon him by the cruellest monster that is real life. This commitment to contribution is something that we need more of, and with Oric, I'm glad to say I can point to someone who isn't in one of the fancier ranks but does things regardless. All told, Oric has participated in 18 competitions, earning crescents with Topaz, Sapphire, Amethyst and Diamond stars for his efforts. Oric is multi-faceted passing 18 SA courses (including Leadership Rewards) earning two degrees in the process. Oric has also earned an Anteian cross for his actions and has received 9 Clusters of Fire from 2 PvE activities. Not to stick to one kind of cluster, he has also picked up 2 clusters of graphite.

It is a privilege to recommend Oric for this promotion, one I believe will enhance his desire and draw even more activity from this amazing member.

Drake Starfire has been an Acolyte for a while, but now comes the time to grant him an elevation. Drake participated in a total of 53 competitions -that is a real nice number- and earned Crescents, Clusters, Pendants and Seals to put next to his two Merit Awards in his showcase. Not only did Drake participate, he offered others an opportunity to do the same, by hosting three competitions himself.

This Acolyte’s writing got him to the third rank of the Inquisitorius and his gaming got him to the fifth rank in the Grand Master’s Royal Guard , owning a total of 251CFs and 16CEs now. Game on!

Within the Shadow Academy, Drake took on two of ‘the harder’ Leadership Courses and successfully passed them, which led him to the fifth rank within the Shadow Academy Society. Moving up

The New Year rings in some great news for Nijalah. Over the last few month, Nijalah has been hard at work participating in 10 competitions, successfully placed in 2 competitions, earned 2 Pendants of Blood, reached Shadow Academy Society Rank 3, and earned a Merit Award for his great activity for Shan. During that time he also was awarded 5 Clusters of Graphite. In addition, he has been an active presence in the Telegram channels, adding to Odan-Urr's community.

A promotion to JM4 is a very exciting time not only for the member but for the Clan community as a whole. It's a time where we celebrate the hard work a new member has put in to get to this point. It's a great time for the member being promoted to be the center of attention for they have completed their trials and now stand on their own within the clan and the club as a whole.

Ozosi Vym or as most of us know her as Kris' has gone out and has destroyed her Promotion requirements and in such a quick fashion as well. She could have rested and relaxed and just waited for her time in grade to be up. This, of course, was not her style she kept finding new things to do and expand her horizons not only within the Clan but she recently got hired as an SA Docent as well. I will let her Master speak directly on her activities since he was with her the whole time.

I'll honestly admit that when Kris first joined the House 6 months ago she was quiet and I didn't really know her well. Since then she has not only become more comfortable to be a noticeable figure in the telegram chats. She came into her own during the War as well.

The last few months watching Kris come into her own and become a active vibrant member of Hoth and Odan-Urr has been such a joy. I already see how she will make a great leader in the club one day and I'm so excited for her to see where she will go from here. I don't think this is the last promotion or award she will get.

Kris you are a wonderful person, an awesome member and more importantly a person I know I can count on. I'm glad I got to know you and I'm happy you accepted me as a friend as well. Your attitude and spirit are infectious and you do inspire and push me to be the best leader and member as I can be. I've seen a number of great Journeymen reach Knighthood in my tenure as Headmaster, but rarely have I ever gotten as excited about one as I am about Ozosi (or Kris). She's a whirlwind of activity and I can tell that she's quickly becoming a big part of COU.

When I recently put out a call for Professors and Docents, I only received a handful of applications and hers was one of them. I was blown away. It was professional (more so than I've seen in some applications to cross my real life desk), it was thorough, and it contained action plans. Yeah, you heard me - action plans! For a PROF/DOC position! As you can guess, of course I hired her. In the weeks since she's jumped right into work, going over each of her courses with a fine-toothed comb to check for errors and brainstorm areas they can be expanded or altered for the better. She's done more work in the short period of time she's been on the Shadow Academy staff than most of her fellow staffers have in their much longer tenures - and most of them are veteran Equites!

Kris has more than earned this promotion to JM4, and I'm happy to have been asked to write in support of it. What excites me more than anything, though, is that I know she's far from done. Congrats!

Ozosi Vym, a person I have had the honor to get to know since the beginning. I am exceedingly proud to count her as my fellow Odanite and now as a fellow full-fledged Knight. A fellow sister in Odan-Urr, someone I can game and write with, not including the shenanigans along the way. She has become a very real part of Odan-Urr's community and I can't imagine it without her now. Moreover, she has already started to take on some responsibility in the club, giving back through helping out the SA's office.

I first met Ozosi Vym as a shiny member, directly recruited by another within House Hoth. Then, within a matter of days from Ozosi joining us on Telegram, Blade approached me about becoming Kris' mentor in the Brotherhood. Rather than immediately saying yes, as some would, Ozosi chose to first take the time to get to know me before coming to a decision.

As mentor and Aedile, Ozosi has exceeded all expectations and tasks I have set. Yet Kris shows no signs of slowing, becoming a Docent within the Shadow Academy before hitting Knight and asking what else could be done for the Clan and the Brotherhood as whole. Yes, you read that right, a Journeyman still learning the ropes of how the club works asking what they can do to continue improving the experience for others.

I know this is only the beginning of Ozosi's journey and I look forward to seeing where she goes from here. It's my distinct pleasure to recommend Ozosi Vym be promoted to Journeyman 4.
