Primary reason

If the mark of an upper equite is one who produces for the greater good instead of merely consuming then there are few who embody that ideal more than Corvus Corax. In the past thirteen months he has given so much to the Clan and the Brotherhood without asking anything in return. Having been Proconsul and Consul during that entire period I can confidently state that Clan Odan-Urr would not be where it is today without Corvus' efforts on our summit. He has served continuously for seven months, first as the founding BTL of Zireal, a bold experiment in enhancing the experience of our newer members, and as our Rollmaster. In both positions Corvus was directly responsible for not only integrating our new members and guiding them to Knight but also for advising the summit on initiatives to retain our current membership of all ranks. The results of his tireless efforts behind the scenes and sage advice speak for themselves, as of writing this Odan-Urr is the second largest unit in the Brotherhood (trailing the largest Clan by only one member) and five members reached Knighthood during his summit tenure. Corvus has had a direct impact on the health of our roster, which can be measured in the hundreds of messages and hours spent in various communication platforms guiding, listening, advising and mentoring members of all ranks and the larger summit.

As if his contributions as a summit members were not enough, Corvus consistently ranks as one of our lead members in individual activity. He was the top individual competitor in COU's feud with Plagueis, 1st place in the Remember New Tython Clan event, 3rd place in the Renewal of the Light Clan event, and 3rd place in the Battle Formations Clan event. He is absolutely one of the Clan's heavy hitters. Since his last promotion he has participated in ninety four competitions and has received a Grand Cross, a Dark Cross, a Gold Nova, thirty three Crescents, one Cluster of Fire, fifty one Clusters of Ice, ten Clusters of Earth, and four Clusters of Graphite.

It is my distinct honor to recommend Corvus' elevation to the upper equite ranks. I can honestly say that his service and leadership are an inspiration to me. Congrats!

Turel Sorenn
Consul, Clan Odan-Urr

Additional reasons

Clearly Turel has illustrated our dear Rollmaster's numbers and they are quite impressive to say the very least but besides being active and participating in as much as he can. He is a great at his job as well, he brings a strong team mentality to the position that makes my job as Aedile so much easier. He is constantly looking for ideas and advice from the summit to help make new members feel right at home.

Then for what I will say is more important is that Corvus created a program in which a new member can make his way through the early ranks within Zirael in a relaxed and very meaningful way. He takes them under his wing and helps them to understand their Clan and the houses in their fiction and actually sense. This helps the new members learn about the Clan and the members of the Clan so they can make a educated choice on what their first real step in the Clan and the DJB will be. It is awesome to see him at work for sure.

It truly is a honor and a privilege t work with Corvus and it's even more fun interacting with him on a daily basis within the clan and working directly with him on making COU the best and the most fun Clan in the DJB.

Congratulations Corvus you definitely earned this promotion and Welcome to EQ3!

Edgar Drachen Aedile of House Hoth

Edgar Drachen, 2016-12-31 17:53:45 UTC

If leadership is about mentoring and tutoring, then Corvus is a great leader. If leadership is about being available and answering questions in a timely manner, then Corvus is a great leader. If good membership is about being with your fellow members and doing competitions and playing games and having fun at every level, then Corvus is a great example of that. And if being courteous and willing to help and always there for the clan are signs of true friendship, then Corvus is a dear friend.

As the one who welcomed me into DJB (alongside Turel), and who mentored me into the Zirael BTL role, Corvus has shown all of the attributes above throughout my stay here. Even though we do not converse as much now that I moved to PLA, he has been there and has been friendly throughout. He is a key member of the COU summit and the Clan and Brotherhood in general. He is an exemplary leader and member, and a kind and generous mentor and friend.

If anyone is deserving of a promotion give the above, I can think of few others. I give my dearest congratulations and thanks to Mr. Corax!

Seer Xolarin, 2016-12-31 20:06:50 UTC

I first met Corvus - then known as Seridan - just a few months before his last promotion, when he welcomed me to Odan-Urr as my Aedile. My immediate impression was that he was kind and helpful, and every single interaction I've had with him since has reinforced that. It was his example that I tried to follow when I ended up taking on that AED position myself several months later. As Rollmaster, and before that as Zirael BTL and de facto Deputy Rollmaster, I've seen the positive influence Corvus has on Odan-Urr's newest members. But he also goes far beyond what we would normally expect of an RM. For example, just last month Corvus approached me to see if there was anything he could do to help Satele Shan's Summit, and quickly gave me some quality feedback on our in-progress wiki update.

I never really appreciated what a beast he is until the Battle Formations inter-House feud, where Corvus proved to be a top-tier competitor in both quality and quantity. This has been standard throughout his career in the Brotherhood.

Congratulations, my friend, and never change!

Warlord Furios Morega di Plagia
Old Rank
Battlemaster (Equite 2)
New Rank
Battlelord (Equite 3)
Requested by
Master Selika Roh di Plagia
Primary reason

Furios Morega has been one of the pillars of Clan Plagueis for many years now, both as a leader and as a individual. He has been a powerhouse of activity as well as a member that has made the transition from consumer to producer, serving both our Clan as Aedile and Battleteam Leader as well as the Brotherhood as a whole as a Magistrate. Very few members that I've had the pleasure of working with have been so focused on making the Brotherhood around them a better place for all instead of just a better place for themselves. Furios has always had his eye toward the former goal, and has done an outstanding job of helping reach that goal as well.

On the level of personal activity, he has always been there for his Clan during major events: 9 entries in the Plagueis Sphere of Influence feud, 5 entries for Fading Light, 8 for the Anchorage feud, 11 for Great Jedi War XI, 14 entries across all three rounds of the Restoration feud, 31 entries for the three clan Aftermath event, and 20 entries for the recently completed Plagueis Winter Trials. His efforts and individual competition placements always stood him in good stead during these events: 3rd place in the Sphere of Influence feud, 2nd place in the Anchorage feud, 5th place in the Restoration feud, 4th place in Aftermath, and 2nd place for the Plagueis Winter Trials. No other member of Plagueis has maintained such a consistent level of competitive excellence for even half as long as Furios has. In total since his last promotion, he has participated in 152 competitions and earned 1 Silver Nova, 50 crescents (5 Ruby, 9 Amethyst, 22 Sapphire, 10 Emerald, 2 Topaz, and 2 Quartz), and 1 Legion of the Scholar. As a gamer, he has 61 PvP activities and 189 PvE activities reported and has earned 336 Clusters of Fire, 1,397 Clusters of Earth, and 12 Pendants of Blood. As a fiction author, he has submitted to 25 fiction activities for a total of 11,627 words, 3 run-on posts totaling 2,732 words, and completed 1 match in the ACC. These efforts have also earned him 27 Clusters of Ice. To round out this flurry of activity, he has also been a dedicated student at the Shadow Academy, completing 13 courses as well as 5 degrees (3 Mavens, 1 Savant, and 1 Sage).

Not content to simply be a powerhouse of individual activity, Furios has been an excellent leader as well. At a one on one level he was Master to both Ra'gnar and Azmodius Equesinfernum, mentoring them both to the rank of Knight and earning 2 Scrolls of the Master. A testament to Furios's guidance, both of these members remain active parts of Clan Plagueis even 2 years after their knighthood. At the institutional level, Furios has served as Aedile of House Ajunta Pall and now as Battleteam Leader of our new Battleteam, The Circle. His time as Aedile coincided with some of the most productive times for House Ajunta Pall, where I worked with him to build on the success the House had seen to create even more activity. Without Furios, none of that would have been possible. In addition, since his return to Plagueis his service to The Circle has been invaluable. The Circle is a battleteam specifically for our new members, helping shepherd them through their initial contact with the Brotherhood and guiding them to the Journeyman ranks. Furios also wrote much of the new fictional background of his new unit, and personally wrote over half of the wiki article for his unit. His seasoned leadership has brought a steadying hand to our Battleteam and the new members within it, and he has worked closely with our Rollmaster to ensure the future of Plagueis can remain bright.

Furios also spent over a year working as a Magistrate to the Fist in charge of the Brotherhood's presence in The Old Republic. Following many trials and tribulations, he came in and righted the ship and helped create a more healthy and positive TOR environment. Much of what he did there is detailed in this recommendation, but I will attempt to summarize: He revamped the reward structures for TOR through testing, prepared the Guild for a new expansion launch, and rebuilt the officer structure from the ground up. Watching him do that work and lead weekly raids, I knew that the Brotherhood's TOR presence was doing about as well as it had since the launch of the game.

Furios's excellent service to the Brotherhood has been recognized several times since his battlefield promotion during the Dark Crusade. In that time, he has been awarded 1 Dark Cross, 2 Grand Crosses, and 1 Sapphire Blade. The recommendations for these awards speak to the high levels of excellence that Furios has always maintained as a member of Plagueis and the Brotherhood at large. As a tribute to his long time service and consistent dedication, it gives me great pleasure to submit his name for advancement to the rank of Equite 3. It's been a long time coming, my friend, and it is well deserved!

Azmodius Equesinfernum has always been a member that's been an active contributor to Clan Plagueis. Even book-ending a period of time spent in the Rogues, Asmodius has had a very productive time since his last promotion. He was a major player in our Restoration: Ascendant event last year, earning an Antiean Cross for his efforts there. He then came on again with a vengeance during our recent Plagueis Winter Trials event, participating in 19 of the competitions offered while placing in 5 of them. He earned 144.5 points while securing 5th place, the highest finish of any Plagueis member not on the Summit.

In total since his last promotion, Azmodius has participated in 38 competitions and earned 10 crescents (1 Ruby, 2 Amethyst, 4 Sapphire, and 3 Emerald) for his placements. In gaming he has entered 2 PvP activities and 7 PvE activities, netting him 4 Clusters of Fire, 12 Clusters of Earth, and 2 Pendants of Blood. He has also submitted to 3 fiction activities to the tune of 2,740 words to earn 2 Clusters of Ice.

When we've had him, Azmodius has been one of the best and most active Plagueis members. His activity to date has been much appreciated, and it gives me great pleasure to recommend him for promotion to the rank of Equite 1. Congratulations, Azmodius! Welcome to the halls of the Equites.

Primary reason

Over the last year Kul'tak Drol has proven himself to be an invaluable part of Clan Plagueis at every turn. As both a contributing member and a leader/mentor, Kul'tak has continually made his mark on our Clan.

In terms of personal activity, Kul'tak has been one of our Clan's rocks. When the major competitions come around, Kul'tak has always been there for his Clan. 7 entries in the Plagueis Pro Bowl, 10 during A Call To Arms, 6 during our three clan Aftermath event with TAR and ARC, and then 9 more during our most recent event the Plagueis Winter Trials. Across those events, he claimed 8 total placements as well. All told over the last year, he participated in 56 competitions while earning 15 crescents (2 Diamond, 1 Ruby, 8 Amethyst, 1 Sapphire, 2 Emerald, and 1 Topaz). From his 4 PvE activities he earned 8 Clusters of Earth in gaming. In the realm of fiction, he participated in 12 fiction activities for a total of 16,042 words and completed 11 ACC matches, efforts that earned him 65 Clusters of Ice. He also earned 3 merit medals in the time since his last promotion, 1 Anteian Cross and 2 Dark Crosses.

Beyond his achievements as far as personal milestones, Kul'tak has also been a valuable part of our Summit in the area of member mentoring. Plagueis uses it's Battleteam Leader positions specifically to oversee our new Journeymen, and in the four months that Kul'tak spent in that position he helped guide our newest members through the trials and tribulations that come with joining the Brotherhood. More directly, he served as the Master that guided Alishu to the rank of Knight, earning Kul'tak a Scroll of the Master. He also helped drive participation in our Clan events as a leader, working with those in his Battleteam and those outside of it to make sure that our Clan performed at optimal levels. Additionally, while a member of the summit and since stepping down, Kul'tak has been an active part of our Telegram group while helping to drive member activity even to this day.

Kul'tak's efforts have driven him beyond the realm of a Journeyman and straight into the halls of the Equites. It is my great pleasure to put him forward for advancement to the first of the Equite ranks, and it is my hope that this is but the first Equite promotion that I will have the honor or writing for Kul'tak Drol. Good work!

Blair Augusta Dearg has quietly become one of Clan Plagueis's most dependable members over the last few months. Blair has been active across almost all facets of the Brotherhood, from writing to gaming to the Shadow Academy. Since his last elevation in February, Blair has participated in 61 competitions while earning 17 crescents (1 Diamond, 3 Ruby, 5 Amethyst, 4 Sapphire, and 4 Emerald). More important than just the number of entries was where they occurred, though. Blair entered 16 competitions during our three Clan Aftermath event while placing in 2 and 10 competitions during the more recent Plagueis Winter Trials event and placed in 1. It's always important for members to be active in major events, as it prepares them for Vendettas and Great Jedi Wars, and Blair has been a rock of activity at these times.

As a gamer, Blair has also submitted 43 PvP matches and 2 PvE activities while earning 204 Clusters of Fire. On the fiction front, Blair has submitted 12 fiction activities totaling 3,880 words and completed a match in the Antei Combat Center. This activity has earned him 8 Clusters of Ice as well. Blair has also sampled many of the courses offered by the Shadow Academy since his elevation. He has completed 16 courses to also earn 1 Dark Pundit and 1 Dark Maven degree as well. Finally, Blair has been a very active part of the Plagueis community through participation in our Clan Telegram group. Telegram is one of the best was to becoming part of the Brotherhood at large and helping to build that community into a positive place is always welcome.

Blair is everything we could want from our Equites in Clan Plagueis. Active, motivated, and a welcome part of our community. It gives me great honor to put him forth for elevation into the Equite ranks, and I hope this is but the first step of many. Congratulations, Blair!

Reaver Tra'an Reith di Plagia

Seer (Equite 3)
New Rank
Augur (Equite 4)
Requested by
Teylas Ramar
Primary reason

Since I first came to Plagueis - then independent House Plagueis - there has been one constant the entire time: Tra'an Reith di Plagia. When I first joined Tra'an was the Quaestor of House Plagueis and a remarkable leader to serve under. Not much has changed when it comes to his leadership since then which is why I'm very happy to recommend him for promotion to the rank of EQ4.

Tra'an has shown what it is to be both a leader in name and a leader by example since his last promotion. During that time, Tra'an was leading House Plagueis through the first phases of the Dark Crusade. Since stepping down, he has never faltered from his goal of helping to shape and form now-Clan Plagueis into a powerhouse of activity by being a shining example of a member. In the span since his last promotion Tra'an has accumulated a multitude of awards including 1 Sapphire Blade, 1 Grand Cross, 2 Steel Crosses, 2 Anteian Crosses, and 4 Dark Crosses. On the competition side of things he has been both a producer and a consumer: he's organized and co-organized 21 competitions and participated in 205 competitions. From those competitions he's earned a 28 crescents of varying degrees, including 1 Crescent with a Diamond Star, and rallied up 6 Gold Novae, 1 Silver Nova, and 3 Bronze Novae. But as anyone who we look to promote to a rank like EQ4, Tra'an has limited himself to just competitions. He's also racked up gaming awards such as 12 Pendants of Blood, 193 Clusters of Fire, and 820 Clusters of Earth through 107 PvE activities and 7 PvP matches. Tra'an has also added in over 15,000 words of official fiction through his events, and completed 5 ACC battles. And of course, Tra'an has directly applied his leadership skills to other members by earning a Scroll of the Master by personally guiding his apprentice, Zuser Whuloc, to knighthood.

Tra'an has also served the Shadow Academy for the past 2 years up until recently, through 2 separate Headmasters, as a professor. During that time in the Shadow Academy, Tra'an earned 13 Scrolls of Foundation, and graded 89 courses. He was also able to pass 9 courses himself, earning him a Dark Maven in Service.

Overall, aside from the impressive numbers of his accomplishments, Tra'an has been irreplaceable for me. Not only is he like having another consul right in the rank and file membership of Clan Plagueis, he's been a great friend the entire time as well to all of us. He lends advice when needed, not only to me, but also to all the other members of Plagueis to help guide them through the events we run and answer all the questions they have about the Brotherhood. I can never thank him enough for his continued presence, leadership, and all that he does without even having to be asked.

This is a hard, well earned promotion that I can't even begin to say how glad I am to be recommending it. Congratulations, Tra'an!

Teylas Ramar, 2017-01-01 21:08:21 UTC
Additional reasons

Tra’an has been a stable a dedicated member for a number of years and while I have not had the pleasure to work with him, I’ve seen him active lately on the site and in Telegram quite a bit. His track record in August and November will prove his level of interest and activity. Stellar work for a stellar member.

Seer Tra’an was been involved a lot more recently, which is of particular note. He participated in Aftermath, and jumped in head first for our Winter Trials series. I cannot wait to see what he brings to the table.

I see no reason why Tra’an should not be recognized for his recent (and historical) contributions to the Clan and House. Congratulations!

Seer Xolarin, 2017-01-01 21:08:13 UTC

Tra'an was a person that I'd worked with before coming to Plagueis a number of times, and was the primary reason I came to the Clan in 2012. In the time since his promotion that November, he's made the sort of contributions to our Clan that most members never match. Teylas has gone over some of the quantifiable numerics of those contributions above, so I'd like to highlight some of the things that don't show up in an activity tracker.

Beginning shortly after his last elevation, Tra'an oversaw the implementation of the ground up rebuild of the entirety of the Clan's lore. Moving beyond things like the rebuilt fleet and basic outline documents that had been completed in the lead up to Horizons, he put together a team of individuals and ran a project the scale of which would be more appropriate for a full time Dark Councilor such as the Voice. Everything about Plagueis changed, from it's home planet to it's basic fictional identity. In addition to his oversight and direct contributions to wiki articles and outlines, Tra'an personally authored almost 5,000 words of fiction to introduce the new canon reality and worked with several other authors on several thousand more. Then Battleteams Karness Muur and Ajunta Pall were created at the start of 2013, and Tra'an shepherded the creation of their canon as well. The fictional foundation that Tra'an built for our Clan has been a sound one that has allowed us to continue to build upon in the years since.

On the Out of Character side of things, Tra'an was helming a cultural shift just as large as the fictional changes. He assembled a team of leaders that worked to push his goal of an involved and highly active summit that leads from the front, something that started with our Clan leaders efforts during the Dark Crusade in 2013 and that has continued through our recently completed Winter Trials event. Not only did he build that culture, he has actively contributed to it since stepping down as Plagueis Quaestor as both a regular member and holder of our di Plagia clan title. He is always there to function as a motivational voice on in our Telegram channel each and every time that we are hosting a competition or participating in a larger scale Brotherhood event.

Tra'an has made invaluable contributions to our Clan over the last four years, always there for the Clan leadership whenever they've needed him. It gives me great pleasure to write another high level Equite promotion for Tra'an, as few that have received this honor could be considered to be more deserving. Well done, sir!

Master Selika Roh di Plagia, 2017-01-01 21:07:29 UTC

Tra’an Reith di Plagia is a long time member and constant presence of Clan Plagueis, and this member has put in the time and effort to truly show it. Regularly active on our Clan Telegram chat, he can be found providing advice and guidance to our less experienced members, and also being a generally positive and encouraging influence. This activity is very clearly mirrored in his participation within the club, which has led to a slew of awards and crescents that are very well deserved.

In particular, Tra’an was a leading member of House Ajunta Pall during our recent “Aftermath” event. He placed first in two events and second in another, with a grand total of 10 entries on behalf of Clan Plagueis. For his efforts he received 3 hard earned Crescents with Ruby Star.

Tra’an, thank you for being a guiding example of what an ideal Equite is in this club. Thank you for your service, your participation, your kind words, and your presence. And above all, congratulations!
