I am honored to elevate Derek Cinn to the rank of Equite I in the Brotherhood. This is a monumental feat in any career within our club. It shows that a member no longer requires constant direction or motivation from others - he finds it from within. I am excited to watch your journey unfold. I believe this is just the tip of the iceberg in a very promising progression through the ranks.

Since his last elevation, Derek has participated in 42 competitions, organized 1 competition, submitted 3 PvP Matches, finished 4 ACC Battles, penned 10 Fiction Activities (14698 words!), passed 11 Shadow Academy courses, and earned 2 Dark Side Degrees. In that same time, he has collected a myriad of awards: an Anteian Cross, a Dark Cross, 14 Crescents (1 Cr-D, 2 Cr-R, 2 Cr-A, 4 Cr-S, 2 Cr-E, 3 Cr-T), 9 Clusters of Fire, 43 Clusters of Ice, 10 Clusters of Earth, 1 Cluster of Graphite, and one Seal of the Crusader. In addition, Derek has stepped forward to be an active voice in the creation of our Clan’s gaming culture. While his contributions have been limited to minor suggestions, edits, and presentation of ideas - he is rapidly soaking up what it means to be an Equite that leads without an official position. I have seen him separate from his peers - striding ahead - in the way he conducts himself in chat, how he approached the club, and his willingness to move from a consumer of activity towards becoming a producer.

It is for these reasons I believe he is ready for ascension into the Equite ranks: his maturity, his continued activity, his willingness to create meaningful content. I am ecstatic to recommend the promotion of Derek Cinn to the rank of Equite I. Derek has been one of our members to strive for perfection in all that he does; especially when being there for his friends and fellow members.

His activity on Telegram is greatly appreciated. Through his conversations, he brings encouragement, laughter, kindness, and happiness to our community. In addition, he is always ready to offer help with proofreading fiction entries and ACC posts. Since he joined Tacitus Athanasius, he has been a firecracker of activity - always aiming to achieve by putting his best foot forward in competitions and events. This is shown by getting 14 crescents in his 40 submissions! For such tremendous activity, he has been awarded a Dark Cross and an Anteian Cross en route to this promotion. I can’t believe that this same guy I recruited years ago is finally joining the Equite ranks. Ever since he returned, Derek Cinn has been on fire within Scholae Palatinae. Especially in Tacitus Athanasius. Having known Derek the longest, I take great pride in having been able to see him rise quickly in the clan. He’s had a huge presence in both clan and battle team group chats, and has contributed to many discussions as well as been a great friend who’s always there to listen. He has participated in numerous competitions while having placed in many of them. He’s also taken part in four ACC battles and 3 PVP matches. It cannot be forgotten that he also was awarded his first Anteian Cross for participating in competitions, receiving of 2 Dark Side degrees, and accumulating 10 crescent medals. Derek continues to impress as he strives to progress further in the DJB, and I know he will go even further in rank and in success overall. I’m pleased to put Acolyte Obsidian forward for promotion to the rank of Hunter. Since his last promotion 21 days ago, Obsidian has been an exemplar of what an active and involved member should be. He has been an involved member, visiting our Clan Telegram channel. He been an active competitor, most recently in Plagueis’s ongoing The Enemy Below event, and has participated in 17 while placing in 4. In addition, has been awarded 9 Clusters of Ice to more than surpass the 5 Cluster requirement for advancement. Finally, he has not simply been active, he has sought to develop himself as a member. Obsidian has passed the Leadership Management Shadow Academy course and reached rank III in the Shadow Academy Society. Second, he has composed in excess of 2,000 words of personal development fiction as well. Rarely have I seen a new member throw themselves with such force into working towards being the best member they can be so soon after joining.

As Consul, I firmly believe that Obsidian's stop here at the last step before reaching the rank of Knight will be a short one. His efforts to date show me a member that is active and dedicated, and I have no doubt that there will be many advancements in his future. Congratulations, Obsidian!

While Lilith will be writing the primary recommendation, I feel like I need to write something about this amazing person. Aul is a boss. I’m proud to say he’s one of the most capable members of Clan Naga Sadow. Even though he is going through a terrible phase at work, he has still been able to participate in Clan happenings. When he does, he makes sure to do it properly. His placement/participation ratio is incredible, and I am extremely happy to have a member like this in House Shar Dakhan.

Since his last promotion, Aul has served his House for a total of four months; Two months as BTL of Devil's Shroud and two months as Aedile of HSD. During his time as Aedile, he was the main organizer of Project S.P.E.C.I.A.L., a series of competitions that kind of shaped our view of what competitions should look like. Project S.P.E.C.I.A.L. had 16 individual participants, which is an amazing accomplishment.

Another thing I'd like to point out is that he has not missed a single Clan event since joining the Brotherhood.

Mystic Aul Celsus has been in the Dark Jedi Brotherhood since February 6, 2016. His last promotion to Mystic was on August 11, 2016. Aul has proven to be very dedicated to the Brotherhood, participating in competitions and helping out on projects as well as holding two different Summit positions.

Aul is active in Telegram as much as his real life, at the moment, permits. He is always pleasant in his dealings with all.

Since Aul was last elevated in rank to Mystic, he applied for and was chosen to be the Devil’s Shroud Battleteam Leader and then later promoted to Aedile of House Shar Dakhan. Aul held each of these positions for two months before he was forced to step down due to real life interference. While holding these positions, he was always accessible to his team members and was a good leader for the house. When I was chosen to become the Battleteam leader in his place, he contacted me with an offer of help anytime I needed it, ensuring that the transition was smooth.

Since his last promotion, he has competed in forty-four competitions. His last competition award was on February 27th of this year, where he took third place in the Who’s That Sadowan #2 comp earning himself a Crescent with an Emerald Star. Aul has also organized ten competitions and co-organized six more. He has participated in two fiction competitions writing a total of 930 words. Since his last promotion Aul has earned a total of fourteen crescents, three ruby, three Amethyst, three Sapphire, and five Emerald.

Aul has also earned two Pendants of Blood, thirty Clusters of Fire, six Clusters of Ice, three Clusters of Earth, and three Clusters of Graphite. His last merit award happened on January 18th of 2017 earning himself a Steel Cross for his activity and overall service to the club. He has also passed one Shadow Academy course.

Since Aul joined the DJB a little over a year ago he has been such a wonderful asset to Clan Naga Sadow, House Shar Dakhan, and Devil’s Shroud Battleteam. I am honored to have been asked to write his recommendation for his promotion from Mystic to Savant.

Since his last promotion, 3 years ago, Savant Kah Manet aka Samael, has participated in a total of 115 competitions including 10 container competitions, from fiction to regular and gaming competitions. Not only did he compete he did pretty well for himself bagging in no less than 36 Crescents of various types. As a gamer he earned 516 Clusters of Fire, 58 Clusters of Earh and 6 Pendants of Blood. As writer he received an impressive 45 Clusters of Ice for 23 fiction activities with 13243 written words and 3 run on posts with 2227 words. In addition of all of that he has earned 1 Legion of the Scholar, 6 Seals of the Crusader, 10 Seals of Revelation and 2 Clusters of Graphite, and has even passed 4 Shadow Academy coursed and even graded one and helped out the Shadow Academy for which he received 2 Scrolls of Foundation.

In the last 3 years he has held numerous leadership position, he was a Battleteam leader for 5 separate times for a total of 1 year and 3 months. He was Aedile of Satele Shan for 4 months, Rollmaster of Odan-Urr for 3 months and ACC judge for another 3 months before settling down into his current position of First Quaestor of the newly created House Liath of Clan Tarentum, a position which he has held for 2 months now. As a leader he has organized no less than 24 competitions and co-organized 4. He has mentored 2 great members of the Club, Turel Sorenn and Jalen Ramz, to the rank of Knight and has recruited 3 more members for which he has received 3 Scrolls of Indoctrination.

Since his last promotion, Kah Manet, has earned 1 Grand Cross and three Steel Crosses. His easy going personality, dark humor and drive to lead other to greatness makes him a perfect leader for Tarentum and since he became Quaestor of Liath his activity has been great, driving forward the House and its members.
