Shawnathan Do'Urden has more than surpassed what's expected of a member of his current rank. With four competitions organized under his belt, and twenty six participated in, he's shown to not only be an active member of the Clan, but one that encourages others to participate as well.

Since the rank of Acolyte, Shawn has also picked up 17 Clusters of Earth and 7 Crescents (2 Amethyst, 2 Sapphire, an Emerald, Topaz, and Quartz) as well as 2 Dark Crosses for his ability and activity!

All of this adds up an impressive and worthy list of reasons to bestow the rank of Hunter upon Shawnathan.

Congratulations, keep it up mate, waiting to see what you do for Knight!

Since returning to active duty, joining Clan Odan-Urr and House Hoth only a few months ago Lavanth has done everything he could do to make himself an active and a valued member of not only his house but the clan as a whole.

His constant dedication, communication and activity has earned him many friends and supporters. Lavanth is also constantly asking me if there are any projects or ways he can help create new things for Hoth’s new planet. His enthusiasm is a wonderful thing to see in such a young member and he is definitely one that i can see going far in the brotherhood.

His most recent Dark Cross and his participation in the ACC, plus both the clan event Homecoming and the ongoing Hoth v Shan Event: Battle Formations has impressed me enough to not only be happy to be a part of his Promotion to Knight but honored as well.

So Lavanth, I congratulate you on your promotion to the rank of Knight!

When I first recruited Lavanth it was to have someone around who I could compete with. Since then we both moved to a new Clan, and I have been proud to see him reach this point. Watching him go from just joining, through his characters, and using his creativity has been amazing. I have had the honor of seeing him grow the entire time he has been in the DJB, and his work has been impressive. He has grown in ability, and he truly deserves this promotion.

Tisto Kingang BTL of the Knights of Allusis

Padawan Tisto Kingang, 2016-08-21 11:58:34 UTC

Lavanth has been an absolute pleasure to have in the Clan. Most recently he returned to full activity with a vengeance, participating in 12 competitions (plus 4 container), completing ACC qualification and finishing four ACC matches with several matches pending. He has been an active and engaged presence in Clan channels, asking questions, giving encouragement and contributing to the wide variety of conversations that go on.

It’s often said in this type of recommendations that Knighthood is only the start of one’s journey. In Lavanth’s case, it is 100% true. The sky is literally the limit for this talented and driven member.

Congratulations on your Knight saber. I hope to see more of you in the ACC.

Councillor Turel Sorenn, 2016-08-21 12:00:32 UTC

Lavanth got to me late in his time in the Brotherhood. Since he came to me, I have had the pleasure of watching him create things for use for both his house and the team he was a part of for a time. Lavanth has had a long road to this point, but he has definitely begun to shine in his own light in recent history. He works tirelessly on the things he enjoys and diligently even on those he doesn’t. I am proud to see him reach this milestone and I look forward to writing more of these as he continues to be with us. Though I am now in a separate clan, Lavanth will always hold a special place with me and I hope that I do with him.

As his Master, I find his work thus far to be only a pebble in the pond of his full ability. His talent for creation and his spark of curiosity make him among a singular group that many aspire to be a part of, but fall short of becoming. His tenacity even when he feels there isn’t a reason is even an inspiration to me personally. And at the end of the day, I think that is truly the final test for Knighthood. Not some statistics on a web page. But, that they can inspire even their Master to want to do better, to want to be more active. In that, I feel that Lavanth has passed this test and has little more to be learned from me. He creates his own path now and I, for one, am excited to see where it will take him.

As someone who counts him as a friend, I wish him the best of luck and I wish him many more on top of this one. His journey is just starting out and I hope I get to watch it, even if from afar.

Congratulations, Lavanth. You’ve earned this last step on the path of Journeymen. It has been my pleasure to help guide you on this last step.

Since joining the Brotherhood Inyri has proven to be an excellent member of our Clan, during his 16 days as Neophyte they have visited the Clan channel, becoming a frequent communicator and welcome presence. Inyri has also proven to be somewhat of a Shadow Academy enthusiast having passed 12 courses and elevating them to rank 2 within the Shadow Academy society, this enthusiasm has also enabled Inyri to qualify for the ACC and create an approved character sheet. Finally Inyri has participated in 3 competitions, namely ‘You can’t take the sky from me’, ‘The War is over!’ and ‘Bartender, I need a drink.’

Inyri, it’s always a pleasure to see new members make progress through the Brotherhood especially those who are as interested as you are, keep up the good work!

Many times new members are thrown for a loop when they join the DJB, they see others who have walked the path they are on now and worry they won't fit in with the clan. That is not the case with Inyri, he has joined and jumped head first into the pool. He has spent many days talking to his clan mates on telegram, he's passed 12 shadow academy courses such as capital ship studies and transport studies, ACC exams resulting in his qualification in the ACC. He has also participated in 3 competitions, Bartender I need a Drink, The Ware is Over and You can't take the sky from me. I believe he will continue to work hard and become an amazing member with in the Clan and DJB as a whole. Congrats on your promotion Inryi, I look forward to your promotion to Knight one day soon.

Kylex continues his activity push here in the DJB, showing he is ready to advance another step closer to knighthood. He has completed his time in rank requirement, has an approved CS, been a very active participant on telegram, participated in 3 total competitions, passed 12 SA exams and earning SA society rank IV, and qualified for the ACC. Kylex has been slaying his activity and shows a lot of promise, for this I recommend he be promoted to the rank of Acolyte.

Lord Idris Adenn, 2016-08-19 14:12:20 UTC
Additional reasons

Kylex has been a very welcome addition to the clan. Active on Telegram, an engaging member of the community, interested in developing his fictional skills and active in the shadow academy. It's great to see new members jump straight in with competitions and community engagement and we're glad to have Kylex with us.

General Zentru'la, 2016-08-19 08:33:41 UTC

It's a rare case when someone gets the determination to move forward and reaches the first serious milestones of the path towards Knight. Kylex has shown great initiative by not just following advice but also going beyond what was expected of him.

He has earned himself a place in all the Brotherhood societies and is quickly moving himself to be ready for his next promotion (barring time). His studies in the Shadow Academy, his activity in Telegram, and other small but meaningful steps in an organisation as complex as our club have earned him the right to claim the next rank in his ascend.

You make us proud, Kylex, congratulations.

Today I have the very exciting job of recommending Knight Zehsaa Hysh be advanced into the Equite ranks. Zehsaa has become an integral part of the CSP community providing a constant drive of positivity and humor. She welcomes all, regardless of clan or background, and then with some flashy wit and a talent hand provides for the entire clan. Her expertise as an artist and aid in providing epic images to members is already well documented. Her art can be seen in many places on telegram, in use on ACC combat wiki pages, and has even helped place her as a Magistrate to the Herald.

As a member, Zehsaa also demonstrated an active push to excel, having participated in 26 competitions in the last 4 months, 12 of which were part of our clan feud against Naga Sadow. Out of those competitions, she has won 3 Diamond Stars, 3 Ruby Stars, 5 Amethyst Stars, and 2 Sapphire Stars. She has also brought in 5 Clusters of Fire, and 9 Clusters of Ice.

We are so incredibly glad to have you Zehsaa, and congratulations on making it to the Equites! Drinks are on you!

Lord Idris Adenn, 2016-08-18 21:42:15 UTC
Additional reasons

There has never been a battle team report where Zehsaa's name doesn't appear next to a list of awards and accomplishments. She's always contributing and participating in Scholae Palatinae, whether it be through art or through competitions. She's continue to amaze all of us in the clan and House, and I know she'll accomplish so much more! A huge congratulations, Zehsaa! You more than deserve this. Welcome to the Equite Ranks!

Blade Mistress Shadow Nighthunter, 2016-08-16 00:29:27 UTC

What can I say about Zehsaa? A lot of things, actually. Ever since she arrived to CSP she has brought color to the clan and infused many of the things we do with life. Her clan presence in the chat and the additions she adds to the community are invaluable, and I can't see CSP without her.

In addition, she has brought this attitude to DJB wide projects like the ACC martial arts form wiki page. All of this put together with her activity in the most recent clan feud has cemented her place among the Equites.

Congrats Zehsaa. Well earned and have fun with all the new robes and sabers!

Aurora "Aura" Ta'var, 2016-08-16 04:44:24 UTC

I really was looking forward to writing this recommendation! Zehsaa is, as I have said many times already, a key member of House Excidium. She's that kind of person that you always want to have close due to her many skills. Not only an excellent artist, she's someone that combines charisma with tenderness and is able to bring peace to the unit even in the most stressful situations.

It takes talent to have what Zehsaa has, and Equitehood should be only a stepping stone to put to use her great talents to lead an unit. I know that numbers matter, but in this case, just for what she has done for the community that is House Excidium since she arrived, I think that no Knight deserves more a promotion than her.

Not that she doesn't have the numbers. She's the one people turn for when an art competition shows up, and she usually comes back home with a new crescent for her showcase. She also draws pretty much everything that is needed, and sometimes even when something is not needed her art appears in the Clan chat and we orbit about it to give live to the scene creating great stories.

I could not recommend Zehsaa more for this promotion, and if I could, I would without a doubt.

Congratulations Zehsaa, you make Excidium proud!

Rosh Nyine, 2016-08-16 07:24:25 UTC

Zehsaa does two things. She wins stuff and she makes people happy.

Regarding the former, her competition record is crazy. 3 diamond crescents in the space of 4 months is impressive by anyone's standards. Her competition record is just win win win. Her artistic talents are a force to be reckoned with and she has proven herself time and time again to be one of the best artists in the brotherhood, and has been truly applying her skills across the brotherhood in a wide range of roles.

For me the latter is more important. Z is the life of the clan. She will devote so much of her time just to create sketches that make people happy. Not for reward or competition, just for fun. Miley Cyris Oscura on his wrecking ball, Eli in her bath of mead, Princess Xen, mini-me sketches of almost every member in the clan and many others, the list goes on. To me, producing art for no other purpose than others' enjoyment deserves even greater reward. As someone from the era where finding an artist was impossible, Z is even more special.

Z is one of the reasons I enjoy being in the DB. This is very well deserved.

Elincia

General Zentru'la, 2016-08-16 08:51:04 UTC

At times, we often struggle to find a decent balance between producing the goods for others to enjoy and submitting pieces of work in order to work off those extra competitions. Through some mystical and astounding routine and hard work, Zehsaa has found that balance. Always appearing as a charming and kind member to the clan's numbers, Zehsaa doesn't mind guiding us through her art creations, step-by-step she shows the progression and others have learnt valuable methods of drawing through her contributions. Even during tense moments, Zehsaa has the right words to diffuse the situation. This chipper Togruta has the sparks of a natural leader within her, sparks I would love to see ignited soon.

Congratulations on Equite, Z! The drinks are on you!

Quaestor of House Imperium

Dr. Lexiconus Qor, 2016-08-16 12:10:16 UTC

Zehsaa is a model member and contributor to the Dark Jedi Brotherhood community. She does this mostly with her art, where she will sketch and draw things that come up as a joke or suggestion from members. That's how you end up with an image of Xen, Cyris, and Marick in cheerleader outfits with pom-poms. While not exactly worthy of a merit, these acts are part of what make Zehsaa an active member of our club and organization.

She uses those same talents to tackle projects. When I wanted to add some reference images to break up the wall-of-text on the Martial Arts forms, Zehsaa was more than happy to jump to the task. She earned an Anteian Cross from me for these efforts, and I hope they help lend credit to the work she has done as a Knight. It is my further hope to see this aid in her elevation to the Equite ranks.

Congratulations, Zee. Keep up the great work. :)

Legend Wally, 2016-08-16 14:42:07 UTC

The cream of the crop, Zehsaa represents everything you want in an up and coming member. She has a true gift, an outstanding artistic hand, and gives freely of herself to her clan--on a regular, unsolicited basis. Prior to that, she put together the marvel of creation that are my custom robes. For CSP members, she continues to do brilliant, humorous sketches that instantly become Scholae classics.

At clan level, she is ever present and always a soothing, heartening presence in chat. She is deeply ingrained in the day to day of our clan and you can always count on her to mingle with her fellow clansmen. Her high spirits and caring personality is infectious and visibly spreads to the ranks whenever she logs in.

Her activity record speaks for itself, yet do not speak of her bravery and devotion. Despite some (unwarranted) doubts in her own abilities, she charged head first in the Shattered Ties vendetta to quickly establish herself as an important cog in Scholae Palatinae’s machine of war. Through high quality entries she snatched top honors in some competition while placing regularly in others.

What more could possibly be asked of such outstanding member?

Zehsaa represents everything you want in an up and comer. Now it is high time she was rewarded for all that outstanding work!

We are lucky to have you, Zehsaa. You should take great pride in all that you have accomplished.

, 2016-08-18 21:32:55 UTC

It is very exciting to see one of our Knights move on to the ranks of the Equites! Zehsaa Hysh has fully demonstrated what it takes to be a member of that rank. She is one of the best artists that this clan has seen, providing artwork for many of our members as avatars or telegram pictures.

She is an active member participating in 27 competitions with 13 crescents to show her quality! She has also been awarded an Anteian Cross for her drawings of a visual guide for the ACC, another feat of her work!

Zehsaa Hysh is an integral member of ther house and I am excited to see her continued work as well as accomplishments that I am sure she will achieve, now as an Equite! Congrats Zehsaa on the hard work put forth! Drinks are on You!

Lucyeth, 2016-08-18 21:34:07 UTC

Zehsaa joined the Herald’s staff only twenty days ago, but I feel I should add my own recommendation to this list, seeing as she has done some good work so far. Zehsaa’s contributions to the staff have been few but of a great quality. She has completed custom robes for Cyris Oscura, a lightsaber for Marcus Kiriyu and another for Darius Tu'Kul. She has also helped me in creating an accessory for Clan Scholae Palatinae’s victory in the recent feud against Clan Naga Sadow, taking her time to sketch the accessory out to make it easier for me to digitize and prepare it for upload.

Apart from her contributions in the office, Zehsaa has undoubtedly been one of the most active artists in the Club. She is constantly and consistently chatty in DB Art Club, which often includes drawings of her own which she shares with others. She is an excellent critic of others’ artworks, lending a helping hand wherever she can. She has done twelve original character artworks for members all over the Club as well as consistently participated in the competitions we put out to build the community.

That said, I would like to thank Zehsaa for her contributions in the Herald's office and the community at large. Her persistence, activity and generally positive attitude have been a great boon to our efforts in creating a solid community for artists throughout the Club in the past several months. Thank you again, Zehsaa, and congratulations.

Lucyeth, our crazy and fearless leader of House Excidium, has proven time and again that he will work hard, play hard. In the last year since obtaining Equite 2, Lucyeth has spent 11 months as the Quaestor. He has organized some 17 competitions for his House, and spent a good deal of time leading the foray whenever the time has come for the strong push to win.

The time in the front of the field has seen him participate in 97 different competitions, 15 of which were in our recent clan feud against Naga Sadow. Lucyeth pushed hard through the several long weeks of competitions and came out the other end standing tall and proud. His commitment to deliver also led to one of the most hilarious multimedia submissions I’ve ever seen, and which continues to be brought up in the CSP chat frequently. Grand total from his competitions he has earned himself 1 Ruby Star, 7 Sapphires, and 6 Emeralds. He has taken home an additional Steel Cross, 7 Clusters of Fire, 15 Clusters of Earth, and an impressive 47 Clusters of Ice. Beyond these competitions, Lucyeth has also finished 3 ACC matches, passed 9 SA courses, and earned the Philosophy Maven and Tactics Savant degrees.

Quaestor is never an easy job, but Lucyeth has never let his foot off the gas. He is constantly striving to give a high-octane powerhouse experience to Excidium, and by extension the rest of the Clan. With his totally unique style and unending passion to help the clan, he has shown that he is ready for that next step of the Equite ranks.

Thank you for the service you give your House and your Clan Lucyeth. Drinks are on you!

Additional reasons

I've been walking close to Lucyeth for many months already, and though much could be said about him, he has struggled and endured a trial by fire as head of House Excidium, improving step by step and always trying to do what he considered best for our unit. I never look at numbers when I append a recommendation, but his numbers have helped us when we needed it most and the House needed to prove itself in its lowest hour. It's said that it takes leadership and dedication to the Brotherhood to reach the upper ranks of Equitehood, and Lucyeth has covered both enough to deserve to be between those privileged ones who reach these ranks.

Thank you Lucyeth, you deserve this.

Rosh Nyine, 2016-08-15 22:04:06 UTC

Ever since Lucyeth took up the role of Quaestor, he's always been there for his House mates. When I first started out as leader of Battle Team Tacitus Athanasius, he was very helpful when I had questions on what I could do to get the Battle Team going. I've been taking notice when he and Rosh work together for the House, and his leadership always shines brightly when he addresses the House for House business as well as when he encourages the House to do its very best in events. He's been great to work with, and I truly believe that this promotion is well deserved. I know he'll continue proving he's a great leader and member of Scholae Palatinae.

Blade Mistress Shadow Nighthunter, 2016-08-16 00:22:11 UTC

Lucyeth's work speaks for itself. I'd like to focus on what I've seen from Lucyeth from afar and then as a fellow summit member. He is has always shown the professionalism of a true Equite and more importantly cared about everyone in his House. His tenure as Quaestor and the care he extends to each and everyone in his House is commendable.

Congrats. Well Earned!! Drains bottle over Lucy's head

~AED Blade Ta'var

Aurora "Aura" Ta'var, 2016-08-16 04:23:09 UTC

Lucyeth has always been an unrelenting force of activity. This is demonstrated by the fact that upon the formation of the Inquisitorius, when ranks were first calculated, he was one of only two that was immediately awarded the top rank for his prolific efforts in fiction writing. The exact numbers are given in Xen's recommendation but this shows the scale of this activity with respect to the rest of the Brotherhood. Lucyeth's right at the top of the club for participation and always has been.

He has been Equite 2 for a year now, and has been a member of the clan summit for all of this time. The amount of competitions he has hosted for his house is even more impressive given the amount of time dedicated to feuds and events, during which time Lucyeth was busy leading his house to results, throughout the Forgotten Campaign, then the house feud, then most recently Shattered Ties, in which Lucyeth led his house to a great performance that enabled the clan to come out on top. Lucyeth is an even headed leader and never acts in a way that is childish and immature, maintaining a constant presence that brings stability to his house.

Many thanks for all your efforts Lucyeth and congratulations!

Elincia

General Zentru'la, 2016-08-16 08:32:42 UTC

The numbers speak for themselves. Lucyeth is as relentless as he is devoted. With more than ninety competitions to his active record, a slew of rewards and whopping 11 months as QUA, no one can deny this guy’s fervor nor one can contend his merit. He is the definition of a hard working member.

In the recent Shattered Ties vendetta, he paved the way for his House, personally taking the fight to the front lines and leading by example, all the while motivating his troops through email updates. Not only that, he managed to churn out one of the most entertaining multimedia entries I can remember.

He is a constant and welcomed presence in all CSP chat and general clan dealings. He is a guy you can always count on to defuse a tense moment with levity and good humor. He does not buck in the face of adversity and is unquestionably loyal to his clanmates.

Well done, Lucyeth, and a hearty congratulations to you!

, 2016-08-16 10:56:20 UTC

Lucyeth, or Lucy to many of you, appears on the shell as a calm, collect and cheery folk, with nothing but a gleeful smile and a hearty-chuckle approach to his goals. But if you dare to glance beneath that sugar-coated exterior and into his mind, you will only come across diligence, maturity and pure, solid focus. Lucy is nothing but a natural leader in his role, and having spent my entire Quaestor reign watching him and learning from him, I can validly say he inspires me to be better. With a unique ability to understand his members with empathy, Lucy knows what they need and want, and he delivers. He has hosted 16 competitions for his house, and posted an additional nine reports for the members and summit to read. These are the signs of a man who knows what he is doing.

The rank of EQ3 and the senior equite bracket demands evidence of contribution, long-term impacts and achievements under his name. I can fully assure you that Lucy has fulfilled all of the above with his paramount concentration.

Congratulations, my friend. The drinks are on you, my Lord!
