It has been a long time coming, but despite the lengthy journey, Desdenova / Korvyn has remained an active and dependable member, returning to the fray like a glutton for punishment. He's been awesome to watch and work with, and it has been close to seven years since his last promotion - too long. I wish to correct that, by promoting him to Equite 2.

Since his last promotion, Desdenova has participated in 59 competitions, including 3 from the recent Clan event, Order of the Force Ascendant; this in itself is an excellent achievement, winning him 18 Crescents ranging from Ruby to Quartz. He has also won a Gold Nova, a Silver Nova and 2 Bronze Novae from Great Jedi Wars Ten and Eleven, and the Dark Crusade. He has a neat pile of Seals from these and other major events, averaging a few of each type, a testament to his reliability when the big events rear their heads.

As a gamer, he has collected a handful of Clusters of Fire and Earth, along with a Pendant of Blood; as a writer, he has nearly a dozen Clusters of Ice; as a member, Desdenova has proven himself time and again, as demonstrated by the merit medals he has earnt as an Equite. With a Steel Cross, 3 Anteian Crosses and 8 Dark Crosses to his name, I am proud to call him a Clanmate, and proud to elevate him to Equite Two. Congratulations Desdenova.

Mac currently meets the promotion requirements for Acolyte. Outside of the system telling us he was ready for promotion, he has been a huge presence in our gaming community - collecting the necessary 40 Clusters of Earth, reaching GMRG Rank II, and participating in at least 5 competitions. Not only has he served his 14 days for time-in grade, but he did it with style earning himself a Dark Cross, as well. In addition, he helps people in need and isn't afraid to take people by the hand and teach them. He has become a positive member to the DJB's growing PS4 Gaming community and definitely deserves this promotion!

In the 9 months since her last promotion Lu`Aisha Gresee has been one of Clan Odan-Urrs highest performing members, a well respected Leader and a friendly face to anyone who needs or wants one. As a member Lu'Aisha has participated in 42 competition, 12 of which were for the most recent Clan Event in which she saw an impressive amount of success and went on to win the entire event! Her participation has earned her 4 Crescents with a Diamond Star, 4 Crescents with a Ruby Star, 9 Crescents with an Amethyst Star, 2 Crescents with an Emerald Star, 1 Crescent with a Topaz Star, a Legion of the Scholar and her fiction entries seeing her receive 7 Clusters of Ice. Regarding gaming, Gresee is a Pazaak Savant and regularly plays against other Brotherhood members earning her 180 Clusters of Fire.

As a Leader Lu`Aisha has served the last 9 months as a Battle-team Sergeant (4 months) and as the Battle-team Leader (5 months) of Disciples of Bass and she is always keeping contact with members whether it be via e-mail or telegram, as the BTL Gresee has organised and successfully ran a Battleteam event ‘The Phantom of the Feud’ consisting of 3 Competitions and has co-organised or organised a further 7 competitions and under her leadership Disciples of Baas recently were the most successful Team in the latest Clan Event ‘Rise of the Force Ascendant’ and can boast the highest participation rate and the team with the most members placing in top 5 positions across the whole event.

In short, Lu`Aisha is both an excellent member and a strong Leader who is deserving of her promotion. Congratulations!

Lu'Aisha Gresee has been a huge inspiration to me and her entire Battle Team. She went out of her way to bring me back into active service to the clan but she made me her BTS and challenged me to play and write a role that was outside of my comfort level to help make me a better writer.

She constantly strives to make DoB the best it can be and she most definitely leads her team from the front lines. She helpped encouraged me to do "all the things" in the last clan event and inspired her Battle Team into dominated the event! The smallest BT of the Clan won the whole thing because she lead us to victory (and of course won the whole things herself as well).

Also she is the Clan's Pazaak Queen and I want to point out that is she GMRG VII and all of her 1000+ CF's and 3 PoB's have ALL come from Pazaak. She doesn't play any other game this is a feat I doubt anyone else can match. She is a force to reckon with at the table and also the most gracious and helpful person this Clan has.

She never gloats or trash talks and will always help anyone in need. I do believe that she embodies the Jedi way to the fullest not just in the DJB but in life as well and for these and MANY more reasons I have to agree with and support her promotion to EQ2 she has earned it.

Others will detail Lu'Aisha Gresee's specific accomplishments, of which there are many. I will lend some light as to Gresee as a leader. Her presence on the summit is something we almost cannot function without, she is a gentle voice of reason and calm in a mix of otherwise passionate leaders. However, much like a flowing river which may seem gentle on the surface, she is unyielding and shapes even the most stubborn stones around her.

Gresee leads by example in the best way possible, she does not brag, she does not draw attention to herself. Quite the opposite, even though she won our most recent 13 competition clan event outright, she shunned the limelight and pushed her members to center stage. She lead a unit that had historically struggled to best all the House, Team and Clan averages with Disciples of Baas having 5.75 comp entries per member in the event (compared to 2 per member for the clan average).

She challenges you to be your best, but does so in the most genuine and caring way possible. While every leader has their own style, I do not exaggerate when I say that many could learn from Gresee's example. Her elevation within the Equite ranks is beyond earned and I add my voice in support without reservation.

For as long as I have known her Aaleeshah has been a reliable and excellent member of our Clan, she has always provided a consistent stream of activity and deserves to make the step up to the Equites.

In the 9 months since her last promotion Aaleeshah has participated in 65 Competitions (21 of which were since her last award) earning her a total of 25 Crescents (3 Diamond Star, 2 Ruby Star, 7 Amethyst Star, 7 Sapphire Star, 4 Emerald Star, 2 Topaz Star),1 Bronze Nova, 1 Legion of Scholar with her Fiction writing earning her 10 Clusters of Ice. Furthermore she has contributed to the Clan by organising or co-organising 3 competitions. Aaleeshah found the Brotherhood through gaming, so it is of no surprise to see her performing well in that area of the Club seeing her earn 9 Pendants of Blood, 1145 Clusters of Earth and 5 Clusters of Fire. In the spirit of expanding her reach of activity across the Brotherhood, Aaleeshah has also passed a further 3 courses in the Shadow Academy (Mandalorian Studies, Races and Species and DJBWiki: an Introduction).Finally in July Aaleeshah was presented with a Steel Cross for her exceptional activity.

It is evident that Aaleeshah is an exceptional member and I am proud to welcome her into the Equites rank. Congratulations!

Although Junazee is a quiet individual, she has always been steadfast in her activity often preferring to game over anything else. Look at her activity over the last 10 months since her promotion to Knight it looks to be time for her to make the step up to the Equites.

Since her last promotion Junazee has participated in 45 competitions, earning her 1 Crescent with an Amethyst Star, 1 Crescent with Sapphire Star,1 Crescent with Emerald Star and a Legion of the Scholar for her efforts. However, Junazee’s heart truly lies within the gaming aspects of the Club, her endeavours seeing her earn 159 Clusters of Fire and 345 Clusters of Earth and her steady, consistent activity has seen her be awarded an Anteian Cross and a Dark Cross.

Junazee has been a Knight for long enough and it is about time that she joins the Equites, Congratulations!

I am pleased to raise Mactire to the rank of Hunter.

Since his last promotion, he has spent 43 days in rank. He has also two Leadership courses from the Shadow Academy, after several goes, showing his determination to never give up and to keep pushing and improving himself. He was written 2000 words of fiction and is now ACC Qualified, undertaking his first match with Aexod. He has also been awarded two Pendants of Blood, reached SA Society Rank 3 and placed in a competition. Mactire has also organised and run a competition, which was DB wide.

As his Master, I am eager to see him continue his journey to Knighthood. Well done, Mac! You're one step closer.
