There are many paths to Knighthood, some are taken as sprints and others as marathons. All involve the determination to never give up on a goal. Gui Sol’s journey to Knighthood spans over a decade and this achievement is no less momentous for it. In fact, it is more so. Gui is someone who caught my eye immediately upon my return to Odan-Urr this past summer. He is near omnipresent on the clan Telegram and mailing list with his contagious enthusiasm and upbeat spirit. He has become the de facto mascot of sorts for the Knights of Allusis battleteam.

Just since his last promotion he has received a Dark Cross for service, a Crescent with Emerald Star, eleven Clusters of Fire and one Cluster of Ice. He has also shown a commitment to expanding his knowledge in that same period by completing six Shadow Academy courses and the Dark Maven in Philosophy earning him rank IV in the Shadow Academy society.

Behind every dossier, behind every promotion there is a story. Gui has made himself a central fixture in the Odan-Urr community and shown the determination to finish what he starts. He makes me proud to be a KoA alum.

Gui Sol is a member that makes me smile consistently. To know him is to know a member that is thirsty for interaction and activity, getting moments where he playfully demands those around him to help him earn Clusters. These moments inspire others, and it is these moments that Gui so often has. Whether he realizes it or not, he is one of the members of Odan-Urr that stands above the rest.

To know his master, you would know that Gui has not had an easy time. Zoso expects a lot and has a high standard, and I know for a fact Gui more than likely breezed through them with no problem. He has always remained optimistic and friendly with the members, always having an anecdote to share in between earning Clusters of Fire playing Pazaak or getting his Cluster of Ice.

Knight is an important milestone for every member in their career in the Dark Brotherhood. Lonewolf is one of the few Journeymen I have seen to have exceed these guidelines at the rank of Acolyte and remained active, only requiring Time in Rank to attain elevation. It’s been a supreme pleasure having him as a member of my House and watching him grow over time.

Lonewolf has been a Hunter for twenty-eight days and, in that time, has surpassed the guidelines. He was awarded a Dark Cross less than a week ago, and has earned two major competition awards (Amethyst and Sapphire Crescents). He wrote over three thousand words of fiction, earning seven Clusters of Ice in the process as well as fleshing out his wiki page and character sheet whilst maintaining an active presence on Telegram with his fellow members. Lonewolf ran two competitions (From Dusk to Dusk I & II: Weekend JA Free-For-All) and participated in fifteen (GMRG: Gorefest October 2015, Arconan Origins, Monthly Gaming: JA, Arcona Trivia Madness #1, Monthly Mobile Gaming - November: Thanksgiving Mahjong, Chronicler of Arcona, Arcona Trivia Madness #1: Week 2, GMRG Gorefest November 2015, [Arcona Gaming Dominance] Cluster Race Week 1, Arcona Gaming Dominance - November 2015, Arconan Flash Series, Arconan Flash Series - Fishy Fishy Fishy, Star Conflict PvP/PvE, A Logo for Styx and A Motto for Styx). In his time as Hunter, he also reached the fourth rank in both the Grand Master’s Royal Guard and Shadow Academy Societies. Lonewolf has attained one hundred and fifty Clusters of Earth and the Dark Maven of Philosophy.

Working with Lonewolf these past couple of months has been an absolute treat for me, both as Rollmaster and his Master. As members go, it’s hard to find ones as self motivated as he is, as Celevon’s recc clearly shows how quickly he cleared his Knighthood requirements. Lonewolf wasn’t afraid to jump in and run competitions, make suggestions and ask questions to gain a better understanding of how things are done. He never hesitated to ask for help the few times he actually even needed it and I’m incredibly proud of how far he’s come in such a short time.
