Event History

Alara Deathbane, of CSP's new Golden Generation, is a much loved member of the Scholae Palatinae community. She has been a whirlwind of activity since joining and has shown no signs of slowing down. She had ticked all of the boxes for this promotion about 4 days into the 28 days in rank lock. Since her last promotion has has earned every crescent below diamond. Her competition entries are of immense effort and quality above and beyond the run-of the mill submission. She has earned 15 clusters of fire and 4 clusters of ice. She is constantly active on Telegram and the DB art club channels, always lending support and encouragement to her clanmates. Alara is already a central figure in Scholae Palatinae and it's impossible to imagine the clan without her. Further to her activity, Alara has shown incredible temperament and patience, never put off or disheartened when things are denied, always willing to make changes and try again and again.

With members like Alara storming through the ranks, combining an infectious personality that spreads positivity around the clan with raw levels of activity, the future for Scholae looks incredibly bright. Alara is a member we've all been watching closely and I'm extremely happy to be able to finally promote her to Knight. Congratulations Alara!

Alara has proven to be an exceptional and dedicated member to Scholae Palatinae, and has always been hard at work of accomplishing her goals as well participating in comps as well as contributing with her own competitions, ideas, and art work for members. She has constantly been on top of getting her requirements done, and has gone even further by taking part in ACC battles, taking a ton of SA exams, and rising in both the Inquisitorious and SA society. She has won many awards from competitions, and even has received a merit award for all her work.

It has truly been a great honor to have been Alara's Master as well as having her as my Sergeant in Tacitus Athanasius. Her determination and creativity has allowed her to shine forth as an excellent example to others within the clan. I'm am proud to see her achieve the rank of knighthood, and I know she'll continue to dominate in all her endeavours within the clan and the DJB as a whole.

It is always an exciting day when a member has completed the trials of Knighthood. I am thrilled to add my voice in the call for Alara's promotion, as she has earned it in spades.

To date, Alara has co-organized 4 competitions, ranging from house level to club-wide. She has participated in some 18 different competitions placing in 8 of them. She has also earned a Dark Cross, 43 Clusters of Fire, 5 Clusters of Earth, and 5 Clusters of Ice. She has earned 4 SA Maven Degrees, and one Savant Degree. She is a major active force for our clan, and we couldn't be more excited to see her take her next steps on her DJB career.

The first time I met Alara, she was stepping up to help me, a stranger, proof a rather long piece of writing I had struggled with. The way she dove in and then offered up strong feedback told me all that I needed to know about her. There is talent, confidence and potential here that belies her relatively short time in our clan and club. Not only did she step up without at a second’s notice, this young Hunter taught this old dog new tricks and helped me refine my writing. You don’t see many newcomers do that and this is but one example out of many to show just how willing she is to help her clanmates. She has placed in several competition, participates in her clan on several levels. Throw anything her way, and she will get it done.

If anyone is worthy of a promotion, it is Alara Deathbane.

As a Quaestor, I often look through the members of our house and clan to see where the potential lies for our future, where the new batch of spring chicken leaders are. Most days they are hidden in the ranks, too busy to focus on developing management skills because they enjoy participating far more. But once a rising member looks up at the potential of themselves and apply themselves to it, there can be no greater gift for this clan. I am, of course, talking about the powerhouse of activity that is Blade Ta’var.

Since she joined our clan and put her mind to it, Blade upheld a level of fierce gaming that none could compete with. She was unbeaten on many occasions in games such as JA and Pazaak. Blade earned the rank of GMRG 4 by collecting as much Clusters of Earth she could, totalling to 416. This level of activity also fed into her determination to participate in competitions and she earned ten crescents including 1 Diamond, 4 Amethyst, 1 Sapphire, 2 Emerald and 2 Topaz crescents.

When Blade puts her mind to it, she can be an astute and bright member of our clan, her keen eye for the unknown is impressive. When Blade first came to us, she couldn’t game due to RL injuries so she produced a scholarly talent for writing and the Shadow Academy. Blade earned herself the ranks of SA 4 and INQ 4, producing over three thousand words of fiction and gaining 5 degrees. Being a recent introduction to my team of leaders, Blade needed to learn the finer points of management and decision making. Blade studied and passed 2 leadership exams.

As my second in command, Blade Ta’var refines the point of keeping a strong head and resolving issues as unbiased and fairly as possible, she delivers her beliefs that motivate the members of our house. She’s only served as my Aedile for a week, but I am gathering from her techniques and decisions, that Blade will grow and aspire to be a tremendous servant to the House. I see a lot of potential in Blade and in time when she gathers her experience, I am hoping she will prove me right.

Blade Ta’var. The name of a true rising star. After a stellar first month as member of Clan Scholae Palatinae, she only doubled down and worked harder. Our new Aedile’s arrival is constantly applauded in CSP’s telegram channel. She is intuitive, devoted and charismatic to boot. We are blessed to have many a strong young member in CSP and Blade stands high and mighty amongst them. On top of her many qualities, she maintains an exceptional participation rate, regularly places amongst the top entries in competitions, and the lass shows no sign of stopping. There is a good reason she earned a prestigious leading role so soon within our clan. Her promotion requirements speak for themselves.

Blade Ta’var, a name that has been seen for some time now in a multitude of various capacities no matter what it is. She has been stellar in gaming, showing herself in JA and putting CSP on the boards with her skills. she has also received many crescents for her efforts in participation. Blade has also organized an entire parent competition that incorporated different competitions. She has come forward before, eager to be a part of the new new battleteam that has been created. Although, the leadership roles were already taken, she was not discouraged.. Blade offered her help with projects to benefit the house. She never got to be a part of these projects as her leadership was needed elsewhere, she went on to be an Aedile for House Imperium. Her drive has not ceased and continues to burn with self motivation and desire that drives everyone else around her. She is trully is what a leader is supposed to be, inspiring her cohorts around her by leading from the front of it all. Well deserved for your good work. Congratulations Blade!

Recently, Scholae Palatinae were blessed with the brightest cohort of new members I’ve ever seen in my 10 years in the brotherhood. It’s my pleasure to promote the first to knighthood, Blade Ta’var. Blade has already grown a reputation both as a feared Jedi Academy opponent and an active leader. Furthermore, Blade’s entries in my monthly fiction competitions were of excellent quality, and performed while she hosted her own parent competition for house Excidium and began working on clan projects. Blade continues to contribute to the clan, now from an Aedile position, with professionalism and efficiency. We’ve extremely happy to have Blade with us and excited about what the future may bring with new members like Blade taking pivotal roles. Congratulations Blade!

Zehsaa has completed all of her promotion requirements and so much more. She has earned 3 ruby crescents since her last promotion, staggering for her rank. She's participated in 16 competitions and places highly on a consistent basis. Her work is always of exceptional quality, with well rounded activity covering gaming (earning 60 CFs), co-organising competitions, and active in the Shadow Academy. Furthermore, her contribution to both clan and brotherhood life is second to none, always available on telegram, mentoring less experienced artists and producing incredible original pieces of work for her clanmates. Zehsaa is one of a new golden generation in CSP and we're very proud to have her with us. Congratulations Z!

Zehsaa is on fire!!! She is so in-tune with everything that is going on in both her battle team and her clan. Zehsaa has a very evident presence in telegram chat, both in-clan, and the art club. Her art is a sight to behold for everyone, and she is very willing to use her talents to encourage and touch her friends. She is very a very prominent name in competitions and puts her best effort towards them. I can't wait to see what she will do next! :)

What else can I say about Zehsaa other than that she is going from a shining star and becoming a blazing fireball within the clan! She's worked hard at getting to where she is, and continues to work hard to keep on progressing towards her goals. She has continued to make a name for herself, and has shown her love for fellow members and the club with her artistic pieces of work and constant communication with everyone. I can't wait to see what else she has in store.

To say that this promotion is long overdue is an understatement. If art had a society in the same way that writing and gaming do, this would be a non issue. Zehsaa would already be walking the ranks of Huntress and well on her way towards Knight. Zehsaa is a key member in what makes CSP great. Through exceptional participation both in competitions and in her Clan, she has proved her worth time and time again. She’s placed in a whole slew of competitions, she constantly provides her clanmates and other DJBers with pictures of her own making. This morning alone, I witnessed as she churned out about a dozen mini-me drawings for subscribers of the DB Art Club.

This exceptional member of our club deserves any and all recognition that can be bestowed upon her!

In addition to his previous efforts Kryy Vitaan has entered 14 competitions(taking his total to 23), passed 7 SA courses, cementing his position at rank 7 of the SA society, he destroyed the cluster of Earth requirement enabling him to reach GMRG IV. He has written over 3,000 words of character fiction, organised two competitions of his own and earned 3 degrees that fulfil the requirement instead of just one. Kryy has been waiting for the timer to tick down so he could be promoted to Knight and finally the time has come for him to take his place as the newest Knight in Plagueis. Well done Kryy!

Since his last elevation, Nikola Valtiere Erinos has demonstrated the fortitude and dedication necessary to advance to the rank of Equite III in Clan Arcona. He has been an able-bodied leader, a mentor, and a participant over the past two years. I am honored to raise him to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Loyalist Order.

Valtiere has participated in 55 competition and (co)Organized another 23 competitions since his last elevation. In that time, he has also submitted 2 PvP Matches, 5 PvE Activities, finished 2 ACC Battles, completed 3 Fiction Activities (2902 words!), passed 3 Shadow Academy courses and gained 1 Dark Side Degree. He also has collected a Grand Cross of the Dark Side (Extraordinary effort as QUA of HQD), Anteian Cross (Clan Involvement & ACE Pilot Program), 7 Crescents (1 Cr-A, 1 Cr-S, 4 Cr-E, 1 Cr-T), 5 Clusters of Fire, 11 Clusters of Ice, 22 Clusters of Earth, and 2 Scroll of the Master (Lexiconus & Kaiburr).

In this time, he also served as the Rollmaster of Clan Arcona for 7 months and Quaestor of House Qel-Droma for 7 months. I will let others discuss his efforts in these roles and his recent work on projects as a member of Soulfire and Galeres. In summary, this is long overdue and I am honored to see him elevated to his proper rank and begin work on his next.

In addition to that which my counterpart Braecen has detailed above, Nikola Valtiere Erinos (hereafter known as ‘Will’) has been one of the stand-out members of the clan from the start. I remember when he joined during my tenure as Consul. Will was wide-eyed, bushy-tailed and eager to get started. This drive, this determination, this passion seemingly never left him as it does so many others. Since his last promotion, I’m pleased to say that Will has been instrumental to Arcona’s success. For his efforts during the Dark Crusade, Will earned 33 Seals of the Crusader whilst acting as the Quaestor for one of the most active houses in the Brotherhood - if this isn’t leading from the trenches, then I don’t know what is. In addition to this, he also earned 6 Seals of Revelation for his efforts during the Eleventh Great Jedi War.

Will served as Quaestor of House Qel-Droma for 7 Months during the Fading Light Vendetta. He was consistent, supportive, and effective in his management style. He was easily able to liaise with his colleagues and house members, and maintained strict email turnaround times which gave the house a level of stability that it had rarely seen in years past. In this capacity, he was one of the primary organisers of Operation: Figureheads alongside then Galeres Quaestor Cethgus Tiberius Entar. This was managed through an interactive spreadsheet which detailed the results for ease of review by the membership at large. During this event, there were 30 unique participants. Grading such a large amount of entries would be a daunting task for some, but Will took to it with ease. For his stellar efforts, Will earned a much deserved Grand Cross of the Dark Side.

Following his stint as Quaestor, Will also acted as the Clan Rollmaster for 8 months from February to October of 2015, during which time he mentored the clan’s journeymen through to the rank of Knight. For his efforts during this period, he was awarded a Seal of Loyalty and a much needed rest.

I don’t know if anyone who could say a bad word of Will. He is dedicated, passionate and talented. He has been deserving of the rank of Equite III for some time, and it is an honour to contribute to the recommendation.

Congratulations, Will. You’ve earned it.

As Galeres’ house leadership has detailed above Nikola Valtiere Erinos has been an instrumental part of Clan Arcona leadership for a long time. Since his stepping down from Rollmaster I think most of us expected him to take a break of sorts. this is however not what Will had in mind.

Since coming to Soulfire he’s been very involved in the development of the team’s new identity. This includes writing, editing and finally wikifying our new base of operations. He’s also been an active voice in our telegram group, not afraid to voice his opinion and get involved in anything and everything that requires involvement from our Battle Team members, House members, and Clan members.

This involvement doesn’t simply stay within Soulfire, Valtiere has been an active participant in several of the Clan wide competitions we have ran or are still running, including Arconan Gaming Dominance, Arconan Flash Series and Captain Arcona:Civil War (CA:CW).

Simply being an active member didn’t seem to be enough for him, so when he got the chance to be an integral part of the Ace Pilot Initiative he grasped it with both hands. When will starts a project, he makes sure the result nothing short of amazing. This is signified by the Anteian Cross he received for his work on the ACE Initiative.

All in all, from years of leadership to a battle team member, no matter what position Will is in he is and will always be an important member, a great example and part of the reason what makes Arcona what it is.

It is my pleasure to recommend you for the rank of Equite III, you’ve more than deserved it!

My jaw just about hit the floor when I saw that Strask has not been awarded a merit award in seven years. Since returning from the Rogues last August he has amassed a steady stream of activity including 320 Clusters of Earth, 34 Clusters of Fire, 6 Pendants of Blood, 1 Crescent with Diamond Star, 1 Crescent with Amethyst Star, 2 Crescents with Sapphire Star, 1 Crescent with Emerald Star, and 1 Scroll of Indoctrination. He is easily one of the most active members of our House.

The Equite ranks are not just about individual activity. They are also about taking an active role in your unit, engaging with other members and forging your own path. Strask is a regular fixture in our Telegram channel. He recruited Sul Ip in November and has taken an active role with him as his Master. Strask is fast returning to his status as a core member of Tarentum, and we are proud to have him. His elevation into the ranks of the Equites is overdue recognition of his hard work over the past months as well as a commitment to continuing to grow as a friend, a leader and a Tarenti. Congratulations, Strask!

It has been almost 7 years since Strask's last promotion. In that time he has been Quaestor of House Tridens and Aedile of House Tarentum but most importantly he has been the Battle Team Seargent of Nekros Syndicate. He has helped Solas Night-Thorn turn the Battleteam into an active unit in little time.

He also provided various units of the Clan with cool 3D graphics for their logos which required 200+ man hours of meticulous work. He even found time to game with us in Diablo 3, helping me and Dox powerlevel to success.

Strask also earned two Dark Pundits in the Shadow Academy (Essentials and Vendetta) and has organized no less than 11 competitions and has participated in 20 competitions.

Strask just recently returned to Tarentum but despite some health issues and his new born baby just being born he has fulfilled his duties for Tarentum as he did in the past. Congratulations, Warrior Strask Rurra'bek!

Though his name is now Strask, I will forever call him Elols. I've seen him as a new member, as my one-time Aedile of House Tarentum, and as a returning core member of all that we are. Many of his most-selfless acts come in the form of amazing graphics; if all you see is "Ooh, shiny," then you ignore the already-mentioned hundreds of hours he puts into those. Elols is a giving man, and Tarentum is blessed of his generosity.

Elols is active, dedicated, and exhibits all of the quality traits we want to encourage and cultivate in all of our members. He is definitely one of our greatest examples. We love him, we are edified by his presence, and he absolutely deserves this promotion.
