Ah, Best Aiden. Aiden Lee has been a fantastic and really well rounded Journeyman in Taldryan, and it's a pleasure to see him promoted to Knight today! In fufilling the listed guidelines for promotion, I think Best Aiden's best quality has been his willingness to be diverse. Instead of just being a singular gamer, or a singular writer, or a singular test taker, he's dabbled in and tried all sorts of aspects of the Brotherhood. Lee has solidified his competitive chops by earning three crescents for competitions, his writing chops by completing over 3000 words of character fiction (and the Clusters of Ice to go with them!), and his Shadow Academy chops by completing a Maven degree as well as two courses from the Leadership Studies program (as well as Shadow Academy Society Rank 4)! Finally, he's been willing to expand beyond his comfort zone, staying in contact with his summit members and his master in order to get new experience in the club. In August of the year 2015, a momentous change swept over the Brotherhood. It was the first time that we had allowed the belief of Gray Jedi to become an official force in the Dark Brotherhood. In Clan Taldryan, we've long held the belief that we are more Gray than black. We uphold the virtues of justice and fair play, and we seek to ensure the balance by any means necessary.

But the advent of Gray Jedi was not the only thing that happened in August of 2015. It was also when Aiden Lee, the first Gray Jedi recruit to the Dark Brotherhood joined us here in Taldryan. Since that day, Aiden has been a constant force within our Clan. He has steadily grown in his role, always seeking to participate more and learn more as he has grown. His zeal for learning, and his desire to get more out of the Brotherhood is what makes him such a valued journeymen in our Clan.

In Taldryan, we have always stressed that the ascension to Knight is not merely a ceremony where you earn a special saber and the rules change for you. In Taldryan, we know that once you reach the rank of Knight, you take upon yourself the responsibility of your rank, and the knowledge that you too must carry on our legacy of justice and fairness.

It is a burden that I know Aiden will have no problems bearing. So, today... Aiden Lee, you are a Knight of Taldryan. I know you will continue to do us proud.

Aiden is a real jewel to have in Ektrosis. His activity level of late shrouds that of other members. He has pushed past the promotion requirements to reach Knight. In his career he has earned himself ten medals, 10 Clusters of Ice, 31 Clusters of Fire, 2 Dark Mavins and 2 Dark Pundints. In this past week alone he has knocked out 7 Shadow Academy courses earning an elevation to the Fourth Rank in the Shadow Academy Society. Kyo, aka Tofu, is ready to enter his final phase before Knighting. As an Acolyte he has more than shown his merit to advance to the rank of Hunter. He has co-organized three total competitions, and earned 3 Pendants of Blood, 27 CFs and 20 CEs. He has participated in 17 total competitions, earning a Diamond Star, 2 Sapphire Stars, and 2 Emerald Stars (As well as placing in the Herald's Halloween competition earning a custom accessory!). Tofu has been on IRC, the Voice Server, and an active member of the CSP telegram group. I'm very excited to see Tofu's continued awesomeness in the months to come.

I am proud to be writing a recommendation for Kyo AKA Tofu. Since he joined our clan, Tofu was a gamer and a strong one at that. The Acolyte co-organised two successful Competitions for the Star Conflict community, along with Landon and expertly judged both podiums. Tofu has also earned himself twenty seven Clusters of Fire, as well as twenty Clusters of Earth, which add up to seventy four Clusters of Earth. Tofu's participation is a constant reminder that our Clan and House do have strong members, with seventeen submissions and a placement in five of them, as well as getting his own shield drawn by the Herald! You can see Kyo Akumu is a hard worker, and I could not be more proud of him.

Solas is really one of Tarentum's rising stars. He is fully engaged with the Clan Summit, always asking questions and learning more. He has been actively recruiting his friends who are turning out to be great fits for the Clan. He is an outspoken BTL, working with Zekk and me to start building up an identity for his team and running competitions to start building activity. In terms of activity Solas is no slouch either. Since his last promotion he has earned five crescents (all different ones, too!), passed five SA courses, earned a degree, participated in three competitions and posted a report for his team. He also wrote a very nice 2200 word fiction describing the tragic events that got him his start in the Brotherhood and turned him toward the Dark Side. I am proud to have Solas in my Clan. He's a great guy and we are lucky to have him. I gladly recommend him for promotion to the rank of Hunter.

Solas has is a great member of Tarentum. This promotion comes as no surprise and is well deserved. He has done all that was required of him in order to advance and some more. He has recently recruited no less than two active members and has started a Battle Team which he leads. The Nekros Syndicate is the last Battleteam in Clan Tarentum but has already amassed nine members. He also successfully hosted competitions for this new unit and is building up a legacy which will never be forgotten in Tarentum.

Solas is always in contact with the Clan and House Summit and is helpful to the newer members. His work is appreciated!

Solas is a fast rising star in Tarentum. He is self motivated and highly active. He is completing promotion levels as fast as they can be available. His participation in events is also very high. But above all, he is very dedicated to the DB. Some members join and then either fade away or barely do anything. Solas is the opposite. I see him going very, very far within the Brotherhood. He has completed all required items for this promotion so it's a no brainer. But that's not the reason he should be promoted. It's because he's earning it by every single thing he does. I am proud to call him my student.
