I'm honoured to put forward this promotion for Marcus Kiriyu for the rank of Jedi Hunter. He has been working tirelessly since getting Guardian readying himself for the day that he is Knighted. Not only is does his activity cover personal development but he has been working hard for the Clan by injecting the clan with new member from his own friendship group.

Marcus has showed an impressive level of activity since his last promotion fulfilling all of the requirements. Those requirements being spending 21 days at the rank of Guardian, sending his master a 1000 word fiction detailing his characters motivation for choosing the Sith order . He had expanded his knowledge in several subject leading him to reach Rank 3 in the SA Society as well as passing two exams in the Department of Leadership. His level of Dark Brotherhood wide activity has increased as he has participated in five competitions as well as managing to place in two of them.As well as keeping up a constant presence on IRC inside of the #Naga_Sadow channel.

Since joining our club, Torin has repeatedly surprised me with his hunger for getting things done. He is an excellent student of the Shadow Academy, and has two Pundits, three Mavens and a Savant. He has jumped into the current Clan-wide competition, the Tales of New Tython, with fervor and (from what I hear) quality submissions. He has also participated in a number of other competitions on the House, Clan and Brotherhood levels, and has shown a lot of promise in his activity.

Outside of his activity, he is quiet, thoughtful and has some good ideas in his mind for where he wants to take his character, something which I look forward to seeing first-hand. He has proven himself a good example of an up-and-coming member, and I am proud to endorse his promotion to Defender.

Im late to the game here, but everyone here highlighted the efforts of Torin. I know he has been filling my email up with SA stuff. I know that whenever I email him about what he needs for his next promotion it is done within 24 hours. I also know that for the past 4 days he has only been waiting on his time in rank to pass. Lastly when I told him we were just waiting on time in rank he was asking what he could start on for his next promotion.

From Dralin: It's not every day that someone achieves a personal milestone that makes everyone stand up and take notice, but today Qormus has done just that.

From his merit medal all the way back for his accomplishments as a Guardian, his stellar competition participation thus far (fifteen of the eight required by a Jedi Hunter), to the competition he ran with the help of his master Dacien, Qormus showed himself to be an impressive Journeyman and a credit to the Clan. After spending some time at the rank of Jedi Hunter, however, there was some time spent wondering "Where do I go next? What will get me to where I want to be?" Thankfully, he responded to my initial email from when I took over as Rollmaster, and as soon as I pointed him in the right direction, off he went. He passed not just two but three leadership exams (with top scores, I might add), has achieved the Shadow Academy rank of IV with his fantastic output of tests in general, has personally submitted to me a great 3,000 word character development fiction that made me want to learn more about his character, has snagged seven Pendents of Blood overall, and earned three Shadow Academy degrees. Mechanically, he has earned his spot, but his go-get-'em attitude and ability to fling himself about by his bootstraps tells me that he has long since been Dark Jedi Knight material.

Where do I start? You came into the clan guns blazing smashing SA courses and getting into all the things. And you just haven't stopped. He has already Earned a Merit award, shattered the requirements for CFs, participated in numerous competitions and is even hosting a whopper of one himself, has been elevated in GMRG to 3, and numerous other things. I could go on with stats all day... Apart from all the stat, Artorias, he is a very active contributor to his clan. Does what he can to help others without them even asking for it, he just jumps in and helps. He speaks up when he believes something isn't right and shares his knowledge with other members of out brotherhood.

Artorias has been a fantastic journeyman in his short time in the DB. He's extremely active on IRC, joining in our conversations in #taldryan, and has been an active gamer and extremely successful competitor! Since his last promotion, he's earned 89 Clusters of Fire and 4 crescents (Amethyst, Sapphire, Ruby and Diamond)! He's also blown the hell past the list of suggested tasks, having completed 13 out of 9 - including competitions completed, Shadow Academy Leadership courses, and character fiction. Even though he has not been in House Dinaari long, Artorias has none the less become a valuable member of the team. He exemplifies the traits we look for in members of House Dinaari and this is the second time in as many promotions that Artorias has completed the necessary prerequisites well ahead of the time in grade requirement.

Since his last elevation he has earned 99 Clusters of Fire and 4 Cresents (2 for 1st Place, 1 for 2nd Place and 1 for 3rd Place). He has also been a regular on IRC and the clan / house mailing lists.
