When I first met Jai'de, she was honestly just another face in TOR that I raided with in the dozens or so random groups of people that inhabit the game. I soon found that she was more than that as she kept pinging me to do more things. Quickly a great friendship developed, she joined our DJB guild in TOR, and after several months of harassing her she finally decided to join the Dark Jedi Brotherhood as a whole. Since then it could easily be described as "hitting the ground running"; especially for someone that was so reluctant to join our club as a whole for so long.

It didn't take long for Jai'de to find her own niche, especially when it came to activity. It was a no brainer that she'd advance in the GMRG society, now sitting at rank V as well as sitting at 400+ CFs and 6 PoBs. However, outside of gaming she was a bit "lost". As both her quaestor (at the time) and master, I tried giving her some guidance on things that might interest her in our world. It didn't take long for her to find that, despite her initial reservations, she is quite the writer. But it didn't take her long to find her own path as well. She's been pumping out personal fictions time and time again, both for competitions and for fun. On top of that, she found a lot of enjoyment in the Shadow Academy having earned two pundits and a maven and even taken a crack, and succeeding, at our leadership courses.

Aside from all that, her activity in competitions and Plagueis events has scored her the opportunity to serve as a battleteam leader for Plagueis. Her recent stardom through the journeymen ranks made her an excellent choice to further serve our newer members. She's proactive, wants to be involved, and is engaging with all the other members of Plagueis. I, as many others do, hope that this last step to Dark Jedi Knight is only the first step for the rest of her career here in the DJB, and that there is so much more to come. Jai'de is definitely what Plagueis, and the Dark Jedi Brotherhood as a whole, strive to see in its new members. Congratulations!
