I am honored to be writing the recommendation for Marcus Kiriyu, I do not think that I have met a more dedicated and motivated Journeyman in my time in this Club.

Since his last promotion Marcus has served 28 days at the ranks of Jedi Hunter and in that time has shown his eagerness to develop him own knowledge of the Brotherhood has lead him to passing three Shadow Academy exams in the department of Leadership. Striving to to better himself he has earnt a Dark Maven in Philosophy, this in turn has seen him achieve a Society Rank of 4.

His desire to be involved in every aspect of the Brotherhood has seen him take part in 20 competitions since his return to the Brotherhood for his effort and skill he has placed in 3 competitions earning a Crescent with a Diamond Star and two Emerald Star’s.

Working on on his characters development, he has written a 1500 word fiction taking what he has learnt his fiction he has began to progress his characters personal history. This took the form of his wiki page, which he has completed and has been approved by the wiki staff.

Marcus has proven himself to be an asset to not only House Summit but the Clan as a whole helping Anima, the current Clan Rollmaster, in outlining that changes that need to be made in the Blackguard wiki page and editing these changes inside the Google Document. He has breathed new life into Clan Naga Sadow promoting us to individuals outside of the club, for this tireless effort in the recruitment of new members he has been award a Dark Cross.

This list alone is impressive however I wish to touch on how much more he has done for this House and Clan. Since coming back from inactivity Marcus has been constantly active, he has is eager and more than willing to do anything asked of him. He is an asset to not only to House Leadership but all those around him, he has an eagerness that is infectious and he can bring out the best in almost everyone.

Even though his time as my student has been brief it has been a pleasure having him under my wing, whatever you ask of him he will do without argument. Marcus is one of those members that I can see going on to great things in the future. All that I have left to say is thank you Marcus of giving me the honour of knowing you and being your master. Svere has done an excellent job over the course of his time as a Protector. During the past 38 days, Svere’s involvement in the club has increased by leaps and bounds.

In that time, he has written an excellent piece of fiction describing his character’s origin story. He has also built a draft wiki page, also highlighting his character’s history. Additionally, Svere has been active in the Shadow Academy, elevating himself to Rank II!

Outside of working through his promotion requirements, Svere is becoming highly active over Clan and battle team email discussions, and recently joined the Clan on IRC.

In view of these qualities and events, and Svere’s demonstrated potential for increased responsibility, I strongly recommend him for promotion to the rank of Guardian.

It is a very rare thing for me to see a member rise through the ranks to Dark Jedi Knight with the intensity and speed that Artorias has done. In a club that is sometimes mired in tradition and extremely set in its ways, Artorias is a breath of fresh air for us all. He is able and willing to offer a new perspective, and he doesn't shy away from speaking his mind. These are attributes that make him perfectly suited to his Clan, and attributes that make us happy to have him.

Artorias hit the ground running; finishing off an insane amount of training each day. Completing one Savant, 4 Mavens; and 2 pundits within 10 days of joining. After which he delved strait into gaming within the club; achieving 10 crescents; 2 PoB's and 225 Clusters of fire; with 2 Clusters of Ice. He has worked on creating a renewed interest in Jedi Knight within the house and entire club; including working on a project to get OpenJK approved for use within the club. He took on the role of Battleteam Sergeant on Feb 20th, just 8 days after joining. As Battle Team Sergeant he has been essential to my role as BTL. He has contributed each Monday since; helping me with reports; and was able to complete a report all by himself. Each time it was ready for him to be promoted, he had completed it well in advance of his time in grade; and this promotion to knighthood was complete weeks ago. He shows signs of leadership, and an ability to mentor younger members. Something we should all look for in a DJK. His record speaks for itself; and with that I highly recommend him for the promotion of DJK, though it breaks my record. I could not find a more worthy candidate.

Artorias has not only done everything asked of him, in relation to the guidelines, but he has gone well beyond them. He has slowly opened himself to more of the club, especially in terms of gaming. He has brought forward a number of ideas and improvements to how the club in general does gaming, with many of those ideas backed up by years of experience from around the internet.

he has shown a greater willingness and drive to become a much more productive member of the club, and I can't wait to see him continue forward and reach those Equites rank with the same determination and speed he reached Knight.

Respectfully requesting promotion to the rank of Dark Jedi Knight for Jedi Hunter Chrome. As Chrome's Aedile, and formerly serving side to side with this member, I have gotten to see the attributes and character that Chrome brings to bear; it is impressive. We all strive to be a well-rounded and committed member of our unit, and Chrome by his bearing and performance has achieved this to an unsurpassed degree.

Simply put, Chrome is a superior performer. Not content in one avenue of approach, he has been awarded in both gaming and fiction realms with nearly 30 CFs and two Crescents under his belt in the short timespan since his last promotion. Chrome is active in the GMRG Gorefest events, in the expanding Star Conflict group, in almost every fiction and graphics competition at the House, Clan, and DJB level as attested by over 30 competitions involvement. Beyond this, he has shown leadership and organization skills in running two competitions as a JH, greatly expanding his skill set and administrative acumen.

Output alone does not define a Dark Jedi Knight, but involvement surely does. Chrome has been vocal on the message boards, in the email traffic, in gaming resources, and messaging. He has taken time to mentor other members in Star Conflict and is always willing to participate in whatever needs done around Scholae Palatinae. As Aedile I am lucky to have so many active and stellar JH/DJKs working with me, and Chrome is one of the best hands down. In my opinion he is operating on a Equite level already, let alone a DJK. Yes, he has hit every major milestone but more than that, Chrome is a good person and a good community member of shining character. Welcome Chrome, you deserve this.

Jedi Hunter Chrome has now come to the end of his final trials. Today he stands ready to proceed to the rank of Dark Jedi Knight. This massive accomplishment follows completing 33 SA exams, earning a Maven in Flight, Co-Organizing two kickass DJB Star Conflict competitions, 1 Dark Cross, 5 Crescents, and 87 Clusters of Fire. Chrome has also participated in some 30 different competitions since joining, a great accomplishment.

Chrome is passionate about gaming and has likely played every type that exists. He's been integral to the bonding of CSP through Star Conflict, which seems to be growing in interest from other clans. So, I knew he would be the right person to help me with an ongoing project: to find and evaluate various flash games for possible use in upcoming competitions for CSP. He's also been a good sounding board for whatever I bring up. I have been watching over him (and sometimes prodding), as I knew he was deserving of knighthood and the journey beyond. Chrome is a great member to both CSP and the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. I consider him an online brother. From our start over a year ago talking about our love for games to where we have both grown together as members today. His dedication to being apart of on online gaming community we all call the DJB is inspirational. Since his arrival in the Dark Brotherhood and Scholae Palatinae, Chrome has impressed me with his high level of activity. Not only does he participate in gaming events, but he has also entered a variety of other platforms including fiction. His communication with the rest of the Clan is quite amusing as well as voluminous, and this bodes well for his remaining a long term member of both the clan and the club.
