Since his last promotion on 3/1/14, Dragoon has shown what it means to be a leader. 40 clusters of Fire, 10 Clusters of Ice for his writing, a Dark Cross, seven Crescents and a Seal of the Crusader and passed 7 Shadow academy courses. What you don't see here is his drive, his dedication. His service as a Battleteam leader is exemplary. His presence on emails is high, and he encourages everyone to excel. He has helped us keep members that were close to awol to log back in. His reports are good, and they come on time. He has reached out to his team members and keeps them active in a time of need. He is enthusiastic in every event we do and inspires others to do the same. Dragoon is an active participant in the Summit email discussions. He has taken on a student and they are nearing Knighthood. He has done massive work on the Wiki pages for his Battleteam, House, and was instrumental in helping set-up the Orian Assembly. Dragoon has also participated in 37 competitions, ran 9 competitions (including 2 DB-wide ones), and continually asks for more work to do. He also has helped us with our Reach Out program to former Clan members who went to the Rogues (or were about to), and several of them either logged in or returned. To whom it may concern -

I have known Dragoon since I have joined back in July. I've known him as my Battle Team Leader, and a brother in arms, and as a friend. Since my time in the Brotherhood Dragoon has always answered any question I have had, and with a quick turn around response to them. As my Battle Team Leader, Dragoon has discussed ways to keep the Battle Team active, as well as making changes to the future to better the team.

Dragoon has been a Dark Jedi Knight for about seven months now and I have known him for about three of those seven months. During that time he has competed in twelve competitions, this alone shows his dedication to lead by example. Dragoon has also helped me personally helped me in the designing of the Warhost Navy, which is a great piece of fiction that assist with the Clan lore.

As Battle Team Leader, he sends out the occasionally email checking on the status of the Battle Team and regularly offers his assistance to us to see if he can help out with anything. He has proposed an idea on how the Battle Team could be organized and I personally feel like it is a great idea.

An Equite is supposed to show and certain amount of knowledge about the Brotherhood and portrays the best qualities of both a leader, mentor and friend. An Equite should also remain active and help out when they can to further the Brotherhood and also they should help make sure everyone is having fun. These qualities that I listed above are portrayed in John "Dragoon" Witwalker. I feel like he deserves to be promoted into the ranks of the Equites. Dragoon has worked long and hard for the Clan and I can tell that he will continue to do so.

I've seen rapid improvement in our clans members. A lot of which can be attributed to Dragoon's consistent flow of activity. When we began our new clan focus he was freshly made into a Dark Jedi Knight.

Since then he has shown he can be a dedicated member. From requesting an Apprentice soon after to becoming Battleteam leader of Devils Shroud.

It's shown us his want in taking the next step in being a prominent member of the brotherhood. But he has done well. Being as active as he has, organizing a few competitions and even participating and placing in few competitions.

Dragoon has also been very prominent in getting new members to come back and be active within the clan again. And also even getting a member to get back to their trials as their new master. A great show of determination.

He has shown that he is ready to take the next step and ascend. Welcome to the Equites Dragoon.

Omega has been a delightful apprentice thus far, insofar as he has made me utterly redundant as a master. He is active on IRC (both in #taldryan and #db), and an active contributor to the Taldryan mailing lists. This is in addition to Omega completing 133% of the required checkboxes for a promotion to Jedi Hunter, including but not limited to: over 20 competitions completed, earned 2 Pendants of Blood, over 50 Clusters of Fire, completion of all (or nearly all) of the Shadow Academy leadership courses, an Anteian Cross for his efforts, and 3 competition placements. As of this writing, I believe has completed nearly all the written guidelines for promotion to Dark Jedi Knight as well, so I expect to be writing another glowing recommendation in the coming weeks. GRD Ulfsark has been a long standing member of Scholae Palatinae, and today I am very pleased to announce his completion of trials at his rank and is ready to advance on to the rank of Jedi Hunter. In his time here in Scholae Palatinae, Ulfsark has managed to participate in 50 different competitions, an amazing feat, as that far more than even some of our equites have managed to do. Of those he has placed enough to earn 16 Crescents, with one of each type save for Diamond. His efforts have also garnished him 79 Clusters of Fire, a Pendant of Blood and 2 Dark Crosses. GRD Ulfsark is strongly recommended for advancement to Jedi Hunter. Ulfsark is one of the rarest of members in this club, a well rounded and gifted individual. Ulfsark's prowess is known in gaming as attested by the 50 CoF's and he has also been acknowledged as a solid contributer to competitions due to his 2 merit awards. More than simply achievements, Ulfsark has been vocal on IRC, the DJB Voice server, and via email. While not resting on competitions and activity across the spectrum his ability to take part in the 'team' aspect of the House and truly be a cooperative individual. It is a pleasure to be GRD Ulfsark's BT Sergeant as I know I can always count on his feedback, swift response and dialogue, and commitment to the team. Bottom line up front; if I had 2 more Ulfsark's I would have the best damn BT in the House. Beyond all of these accolades, Ulfsark has taken the required steps to maturing in his career and has started the rigorous and crucial Department of Leadership Studies courses as the building block to more responsibility and giving back to the unit. Since joining the Clan, Aiden has been an exemplary member, and has continued to be so even after being promoted to DJK. Since his last promotion, Aiden has competed in 37 competitions, earning himself 10 Crescents. On the gaming front he's managed 433 Clusters of Fire and a Pendant of Blood, while also earning 9 Clusters of Ice. His activity over the course of this time has earned himself a Steel Cross, 2 Anteian Crosses and a Dark Cross.

On top of his activity, Aiden was also a leader of his House for much of that time, both as BTL and Aedile. He created 9 reports during this time, as well as ran, or helped run, 13 different competitions. He was active in communicating with the membership, both through e-mail and IRC and when he felt he could no longer do the job he made the choice of a true leader, and stepped aside so that others may take over.

Dru has done all we have asked of him, and I am more than happy to see him join the ranks of Equite. Congratulations, Dru, and keep it up!
