There is two types of people. The ones who take the easy way out, and the ones who work for what they’ve earned. Justin is definitely one of those who has worked for what they’ve earned.

Although Justin is very busy and has spent a good chunk of time at Defender, more than the required time, he has been active still and worked his way up to Padawan. Along with being social in other Brotherhood aspects, Justin has also been seen popping his way into the house IRC and the Voice server, making sure he checks in with his fellow Jedi when he can. On top of that, he has made sure to join competitions and has placed in 5 of them; earning himself 5 crescents in 3 months! Many of these crescents are from Brotherhood wide competitions, which just makes it even more impressive. One of this competition placements also earned him 7 Clusters of Ice; 5 of which he needed toward his promotion to Padawan.

His amazing activity within competitions has also landed Justin a Dark Cross, his first merit award; a very well deserved one. It’s not often a Journeyman has activity such as this. He has also kept himself active within the Shadow Academy, doing a number of courses to up himself into rank 3. To finish it off, Justin finished off his 1000 word character fiction; approved by his master some time ago.

I would like to recommend Justine Wayne for promotion from Defender to Padawan; also having his master’s blessings with this promotion. There’s no one else more known about how busy Justin is and how much desire he has toward learning more about the Brotherhood and both Seraphol and I are happy to see Justin get his way up here.

I wish to nominate Justin for promotion to Padawan. Despite having a difficult RL schedule, Justin remains an active member of our House. He jumps on IRC to stay in touch, he jumps in for competitions and email discussions on a good basis, and remains a friendly, top example of what we expect from our members. He has earned Crescents with Amethyst, Quartz, Sapphire, Emerald and Ruby stars, 7 Clusters of Ice, 10 Clusters of Fire and a Dark Cross, and having spent three months as a Defender I feel he is ready for this elevation. It’s not often that someone who joins the Brotherhood for the gaming aspects becomes interested and invested in the club as a whole; LaLa being one of these few people.

Not only has she climbed the ranks fairly quickly, she’s been busy looking around the Brotherhood and finding herself interested in numerous different things. Since her last promotion, LaLa has been focusing around the Shadow Academy and Grand Master’s Royal Guard, earning rank two in both. Along with those rankings, she has accumulated herself more than 40 Clusters of Fire. Not one to just game and keep silent, LaLa has also visited the DJB Voice server, speaking with some of the other members while playing her game of choice; Star Wars: The Old Republic.

She has also entered in three competitions; two of them being competitions for Fading Light’s third part which really helps out her house of Odan-Urr. Although she had to spend some extra time at rank for her next promotion; LaLa has some potential starting to show through. With the help of her master and support of Odan-Urr, she could go far within the club.

For all of your hard work and activity, I am proud to recommend you for this promotion from Protector to Defender. It’s great seeing you active within a club you suddenly joined out of thin air for gaming aspects; and I hope you continue to be active and find even more you can love about the Brotherhood.

What can I say about Misium really? This guy just exudes awesome! He has burnt up the shadow academy, earning 6 academic credits, an average score of 95% and has earned the Essentials Dark Pundit to boot. He has been active in PVP matches, most recently adding plenty of CF's to his name for Fading Light and came 3rd in the moment of zen competition earning himself a Crescent with Topaz star for his efforts. To top it all off, he grabbed a Dark Cross for all his outstanding SA work, and for keeping IRC alive when it so desperately needs it. We need more members like this. If all recruits worked as diligently as Misium and gave the same commitment to the club, we would have droves of Knights in our ranks. I have no hesitation in recommending Misium for a promotion to the rank of Guardian.

Egregious was one of Tarentum's top gamers back in 2012 when he first worked his way up to Jedi Hunter. He has a Dark Cross from a Dark Councilor thanking him for helping get through some difficult missions in TOR as well as a wide array of Clusters of Fire and Pendants of Blood. He also served as Tarentum's Rollmaster at that time. Unfortunately he decided to leave us just as he was on the cusp of earning his promotion to Knighthood. The moment he came back, the database began emailing me repeatedly to tell me that he had completed all the requirements for Dark Jedi Knight, and he should be promoted. I remembered him from two years ago as being a great guy, a solid gamer and an active member of our House but I was hesitant simply because it's so unheard of to award such an important milestone to someone immediately after they come back from the Rogues. It just isn't done that way. However, just in the short few days since joining back up Egregious has had a terrific attitude, received a very warm welcome from many members of the House that remember him, and has helped me through a few tough Strikes in Destiny for which I am very grateful. The fact that he is back and active again is without question now, and I am proud to recommend him for promotion to Dark Jedi Knight in recognition of all his hard work both now and two years ago.

It’s always a warming sight to see someone so enthusiastic about their tasks that they complete them before their required time at rank, it being 14 days for Protector, is up. After coming back from a short break, Gellm'arco'nuruodo has put himself into a flurry of activity, upping himself in the ranks and keeping himself busy through different points in the Brotherhood. Finding interest in both the Shadow Academy and the Grand Master’s Royal Guard, Gellm'arco'nuruodo has done a myriad of exams and gaming to reach rank 2 in both. While making his way to rank 2 of GMRG, he has also earned 40 Clusters of Fire in less than the two required weeks at Protector; though doubled that outside of what was needed to get promoted.

Not only that, Gellm'arco'nuruodo tackled the character sheet on his own with no help, getting it up and running sooner than most other Journeymen I usually encounter. Taking an interest in competitions, Gellm'arco'nuruodo has also made his way through the competitions page and submitted to five different competitions; some of those being the Fading Light competitions for the House! He is also an ever present figure in the IRC, including himself in the occasional conversation and making sure he’s part of Odan-Urr’s social aspects.

For all of your hard work and consistent activity, I am very proud to recommend you for this promotion from Protector to Defender. You’re always hard at work meeting your requirements, and I’m looking forward to seeing you tackle the upcoming challenges as you make your way to Jedi Knight.

Cat has been steadily working towards this for sometime, and it's great to finally see her get to this point. Her activity over this time has been astounding. She has participated in a staggering 35 competitions, managing to place in 5 of them during that span. She is an active participant in gaming, earning herself 171 Clusters of Fire. She has also begun to put out regular competitions, successfully running one DB-wide competition and running a second one at this moment. Overall, her activity has garnered her 5 individual merit medals, a fantastic number for a Journeyman.

Catmatui has been a great addition to Taldryan, because of her activity and her attitude. The former is obvious - she's participated in 35 competitions - quite a bit more than the average Dark Jedi Knight (27.26785714 competitions) - and she wins - having earned 4 crescents and a Gold Nova for last year's advertising campaign. Additionally, she's not a one trick pony - she's got Shadow Academy activity (a recent Maven), she has a boat load of Clusters of Fire, and pile of merit medals for her activity. Her attitude is also something to be admired. She hunkers down and she tries, she doesn't beat her chest, she just does the work.

Raist and I have nothing left to teach her, and she has nothing left to learn at Jedi Hunter. As such, she should be elevated to Dark Jedi Knight based upon the guidelines for promotion. Congratulations!
