I am honoured to be recommending Kordath for his elevation to the rank of Equite One. It takes hard work, dedication and devotion to the House, Clan and Brotherhood as a whole to step out from Knight to this rank. Kordath has continued to prove his devotion and drive for this club as he continues to participate in competitions, Fading Light and general day to day activities. All that being said Kordath has done the following since his last elevation.

He has spent his time participating in a total of 27 Competition, which have included participation in Operation; Sojourn, House Event; Figureheads and going five out of five in the recent Fading Light 3. Through his hard work and efforts in the competitions he has managed to take an impressive number of medals, earning himself: One Bronze Novae, Three Crescents with Topaz Star, Two Crescents with Sapphire Star, Two Crescents with Emerald Star and a Crescent with Amethyst Star as well as Eleven Legions of the Scholar and Nineteen Seals of the Crusader. He continues to strive to achieve better of himself taking part in anything that comes his way always looking to expand his knowledge of the Brotherhood. Though this alone does not make him stand out in the way we have all come to Kordath. He is always chatting always online and talking with other people, actively being on IRC is always part of the Brotherhood, Kordath continues to be active with young and old members alike keeping the Clan channel always buzzing.

If this wasn't enough he has continued to aspire to learn more about the Brotherhood and the Star Wars universe as a whole. He has made sure that his free time has been spent inside of the Shadow Academy, showing that regardless of rank you can still learn more. Since his last elevation he has managed to complete an impressive twenty-two exams, Three Dark Mavens and 2 Dark Pundits, showing his willingness to give his all in another aspect of the Brotherhood. He has also taking to gaming recently, this has been in the form of anything from Destiny to D3 and everything in between, getting together with others members of the brotherhood and competing either against them or with them to earn himself a total of One Hundred and Eighty-Five Clusters of Fire. For all of this he has also managed to pick himself up a Pendant of Blood for his gaming efforts. Yet he has also taken himself into the writing, this is in the form of Run-Ons as well as general writing activities, this has seen him take a total of five Clusters of Ice.

Since his last promotion Kordath has also managed to earn himself two different merit medals, for his effort and work inside of the Club, these were in the form of One Grand Cross of the Dark Side, and One Dark Cross. During his time since his last elevation he has also ran a Run-On for Dark Forge as well as Lexi’s Trivia. This was during his 94 Days as Battleteam Leader of Dark Forge. During this time he helped to keep Dark Forge active, emailing them and speaking to its members constantly trying to drive up activity through constant communication. Dedication and time passed as he continued to write reports, email his team, run competitions and actively recruit members to Dark Forge. He also became an intricate part of my summit, giving advice and opinion towards events, showing his opinion with truth and if something wasn't right he would speak up and say it straight up helping progress the House as a whole.

For all of this I am proud to see Kordath step into the Equite Ranks. He has continued to prove himself time and time again inside of the Brotherhood. Congratulations on your promotion Kordath, I look forward to working with you in the future, and look forward to seeing what you bring to the table. Drink are on you bud.

Cethgus Tiberius Entar Arconae, Quaestor of House Galeres

Kordath never really stops leading. He’s served Arcona officially as a BTL, but even without that title next to his name, he’s a motivator and an insatiable competitor. He’s always around, always pushing, whether it’s pushing his peers to fight for Arcona in FL3 or to submit to a House or Battleteam competition. Arcona’s participation ratios are not the product of one or two leaders, but the sustained effort of dozens. Kordath is foremost among those dozens.

His individual achievements are notable, as they demonstrate the depth and breadth of his ability. He writes, he games, he eviscerates Shadow Academy courses. He does it all. His three months as leader of Dark Forge were among the finest months in that team’s history, and in many ways he set the example that other BTLs would follow. There is something that every Arconan leader, and every Brotherhood leader for that matter, can learn from Kordath.

Equite 1 is not an easy mountain to climb. For those favored few who do manage to reach Dark Jedi Knight, Equite 1 becomes a unique beast in itself. Over the course of his career, Kordath has shown the necessary commitment and character to merit a promotion into the Equite ranks, and I am delighted to be recommending that he take his place amongst those Equites now.

Congratulations, Kordath, and thank you.

Proconsul of Arcona

Additional reasons

I feel honoured to be writing this for the promotion of Kordath to Equite 1. Firstly I would like to say that Kord has been a supremely helpful and unbiased thinker within the Dark Forgean ranks, he has assumed the mantle of a mature and modest being when we discuss ideas about how our Battleteam wishes to continue. When the recent events began to appear, Kordath was in a bit of a predicament with a very busy lifestyle and little motivation. Conclusively he stood tall and decided to resign from the team, it wasn’t until after the events started that he wanted back in, because of purely how much activity and the immense story plots were unfolding. The man had stepped up to catch-up with us and he brought all of his creative essence to the table. He did this whilst plowing through Operation: Revival and became a major part of the Run-on that reached over 50 posts, each one being averaged at a little over 700 words, with three posts per day. Kordath enjoyed the atmosphere and when Nicht Ka was being advertised around Clan Arcona he was more than ready to engage the One Sith traitor. is immense concentration, activity and positive aura still affects me to this day. After pulling out of Fading Light 3 with every submission he could possibly do, the drunken Ryn became a new man, and rebirthed talent. I am so proud to be a spectator in the change of Kordath’s ambition and work. Congratulations on this promotion, it is yours to treasure.

Dr. Lexiconus Qor, 2014-11-09 16:32:00 UTC

Psh. This guy. I’d bet anything that when this pops up in his inbox, he’s just going to blink and go, “Wha…?” He’s not really the sort that expects to get anything, mostly because he’s just too laid back to expect much at all of life in general, except maybe good drinks and friends.

However, that relaxed attitude certainly doesn’t equate to laziness. Kord’s a hard-worker, and while life might pull him away sometimes, he always seems to come back with a vengeance--metaphorically speaking, of course. Kordath is a quietly dedicated person, and he quietly became a pillar within Dark Forge without fanfare, just with his presence and activity. He dove into all the competitions challenging his team, such as the House’s Run-On, Operation: Revival, and the most recent Fading Light round where he participated in every event. And though he’ll happily chat with his fellows and clanmates, respond to emails and start discussions, you’ll rarely see any cheering from him. He’s just happy to be a part of it all, and helping his team, being there for them, is enough. It’s a rare quality in people, and one I’m pleased to show off in Kordath.

For all his dedication to his Battleteam, his House, and his Clan, and his long service to the Brotherhood as a whole, I’m immensely glad to be recommending Kord be promoted to the Equite ranks. Welcome, Matty, and cheers! You’ve earned it.

Since joining the Brotherhood, Kul has been an inspiration. The last 9 months has seen him rack up Seals of the Crusader for the Fading Light run-on, The ACC Tournament and Nicht Ka. He also gained 13 Clusters of ice for the same events and his writing skills are fantastic - I see him going a long way with the writing ability he has and I look forward to seeing it develop as he moves forward and gets more practice under his belt in competitions. He gained his first competition medal for the Bar Brawling competition (Crescent with Emerald Star) and continues to try his utmost to better himself in whatever activity he involves himself in. Kul is a shining example of what a member could be, and what they can achieve if they set their minds to it. As his Master, I have kept a constant eye on his progress and nudged him where necessary, even though his RL took him away from us for a short time. He returned all guns blazing and has hit the Shadow Academy with force, taking a massive 20 exams with an average 97.3% pass rate and the Dark Pundit : Essentials Degree to top it all off. He has been an active member since his recruitment, popping up on IRC, talking with new recruits and seasoned members as if he had been here all along, treating everyone with the same respect and friendship he would expect from anyone else. His drive knows no bounds, and once he sets his sights on a target, he will pursue that objective until its completion. We need more members like Kul. There are many things our newer members could learn from his approach to the Brotherhood and he sets an example to all, qualifying for the ACC and gaining Shadow Academy rank III : Sophomore. I would like to see Kul take on a more demanding role, as I believe he is up to it and needs a challenge - something to drive him even more towards his goals. I have no hesitation in recommending Kul for promotion to Jedi Hunter. He has been at his current rank for way too long and I believe it's holding him back. It is time he moved on, and the promotion is well deserved for his fantastic commitment to the club and its members. Well done Kul'tak, keep up the fantastic work and never lose that drive and determination I saw in you from the beginning. Well deserved, Apprentice.

Azmodius had been working hard the past couple weeks, both as a member of the community and on his character. He's been present both on IRC and Teamspeak. Beyond that he's been working on character fiction and as qualified for the ACC. Further, he's out in an impressive amount of e effort in the SA. He deserves this promotion and Iook forward to his continued development.

Scion Tarentae
Primary reason

Orion Aries Rial came to us in June 2013 from Taldryan. He said he thought that helping Tarentum was a worthy cause, and we've been glad to have him around. He is an avid gamer, and has brought in a steady stream of CoFs for JA matches ever since first joining Tarentum and before that in Taldryan. He won a Gold Nova for gaming in the battle for Ch'hodos, as well as a Gold Nova for gaming in round three of Fading Light. It is this consistency of excellence that I admire the most. He never asks for recognition, he never seeks attention, but he delivers consistently month after month. Given Tarentum's current effort to rebuild our core membership, Rial has been exactly the kind of reliable Tarenti we need to form our critical mass. He is every bit as important to Tarentum's recovery as anyone else has been, and we have been delighted to have him with us.

Recently we've seen Orion branching out and trying some new things. He has excelled in the Shadow Academy, completing several courses and higher degrees that are among the most challenging the school has to offer. He has also been working in a new position as M:MAA which is a great opportunity for him to start making a name for himself outside of Tarentum, and to have a real, meaningful impact on the Brotherhood as a whole.

It is this branching out, trying new things and working to improve the Brotherhood that defines the transition from Journeyman and Dark Jedi Knight to Equite. The familiar structure of promotion requirements becomes much more vague, and it is up to each Knight to find his or her own path. Rial has begun to do exactly that.

I, and many others, are honored to recognize Rial with a very well deserved elevation to the first rank of the Equites.

Additional reasons

A lot of the recommendations you see here deal with specifics, which I could also recite with ease, but I would like to give you a different view. DJK Rial is an amazing member of the DJB and here is why. A lot of us have been members for awhile. We have been around long enough to have rise, fall, then rise again. The DJB is home to us, but it is also old. We've been there, we've done that. To DJK Rial, the entire DJB is like a candy box and he is consuming every last bite. He has been an amazing Tarenti. More so than I saw in quite a while. He has almost completely chewed through the SA. He is climbing the GMRG with ease. He is participating in comps. He also holds a position with the MAA Office. He is doing everything that any leader would want their members to do. Honestly, I can't see a reason not to promote him. But I believe above all, he truly loves this club. He wants to see it grow. So in turn, I would like to see DJK Rial grow as well and be promoted to EQ1.

Warlord Hades, 2014-11-07 05:42:46 UTC

I would like to congratulate my apprentice on this elevation to the Equite ranks. Even though he and I were in different units from one another during both his apprenticeship and since his promotion to Dark Jedi Knight, Rial and I have maintained a great master/student relationship Rial was an absolute beast in gaming this past that has continued on with mentoring him as he became a more mature member in the club. His growth has become evident by his branching out into the Shadow Academy, PvP gaming, and being more involved in the Brotherhood at large with his position in the MAA office. His position in the GMRG is ever increasing (about to join the ranks of the elite Guardsman), and I applaud his decision to become more involved in the leadership of his House as he moves up in the Brotherhood. Good work!

General Kell Palpatine Dante, 2014-11-07 05:43:20 UTC

The others writing recommendations will likely discuss, at length, exactly why Rial is so deserving of this big step out of the ranks of the Journeymen and into the Equites, but I wanted to cover one area in particular that he's particularly impressed me in: the Shadow Academy. Rial has really adopted the mentality that we've been fostering that the Shadow Academy is no longer just for new members, but instead for all of us. He's attacked the courses and degrees with a frenzy, while also racking up a truly impressive number of Clusters of Fire and maintaining a high degree of IRC activity.

He's pushed himself to excel in some truly difficult corners of the SA (I speak here from personal experience) such as the Dark Mavens for Web Design and Web Scripting and the Dark Savant for Programming. These three degrees can't be acquired with a few simple SA courses, you have to actually go and program for them. They can't be knocked out in a few hours but require a few days. Even though they've been out for months, as of the writing of this recc, the Mavens for Web Design and Web Scripting have been awarded nine and six times respectively, while the Savant - Programming has been awarded seven. Rial is one of them.

Rial has more than served the time-in-grade as a Dark Jedi Knight, and for the reasons I (and others) have listed above I happily join in to recommend him for promotion to EQ1. Keep on rocking, Rial, and congrats!

Adept Farrin Xies Tarentae, 2014-11-07 05:43:53 UTC

When reviewing applications for the MAA Magistrate positions, I specifically sought younger members who could most benefit from the experience and training. I did not want those who already know how the system works; I wanted those who could learn the system and then spread it through their unit in what will undoubtedly be a long career of leadership and greatness. This method is risky. Rial was my first risk, my first chance move as MAA, and I have not been disappointed in the slightest.

Rial is at the three month mark as an M:MAA, halfway through his term, and he has left a lasting impression so much I want to help promote him now (I made a personal pledge he wouldn't leave this office DJK). He is a consistent contributor to our conversations both about requests and policy, looking into member history and providing insight and analysis into whatever medal or promotion is sought after. He is also one of the fastest turnaround staffers I have, reviewing and approving the basic stuff within hours. Additionally, he follows through on more specific requests I pass him in the same short time frame -- things like correcting competition details, removing a duplicate medal, and more.

Rial's three consistent months of stellar MAA activity have earned him a lot on its own, but what clenches his promotion into the Equite dining hall is that he has worked with me all while also giving exemplary work in Tarentum as one of its most active members and leaders. I leave the details for Scion and Hades, but mention it to stress that while EQ1 traditionally only needs a single area of exceptional activity, Rial branches out and succeeds. Thank you for your work thus far, Rial; congratulations!

Zanet Xox, 2014-11-07 05:44:25 UTC

Rial was a force to be reckoned with in gaming this past Fading Light: Part 3 round. He took such a commanding lead so quickly that few stood to oppose him. Leadership by way of example is something we don’t always highlight, but it is something very important nonetheless. Rial has been on top of the smaller MAA administration tasks that tend to get overlooked. His turnaround times are superb and ensure that transfers and basic requests are processed and handled in a timely manner.

Congrats, Rial, and keep up the good work.

Taranae has been a stalwart member of Plagueis for as long as I can remember. She's been everything we could expect from a member and then some. She's been a highly active member in a number of ways. From being one of , if not the most prolific Pazaak players in the clan, she's also organized Pazaak competitions for both the clan and the DJB as a whole. She's also obtained a number of crescents and participated in all events during Fading Light. However these things, while important, are not what makes her truly special.

Since I first started working with her she's been an important part of the unit. She started as a Battleteam XO and in that role served a key liaison to new members. During this time, she was responsible for being one of the primary contacts for journeymen in Ajunta Pall. After five months in that role, she was promoted to the position of Clan Rollmaster where she continued to excel in the training and mentoring of Plagueis' journeymen. Beyond that, Taranae has also been an active recruiter of new members. She's received 4 Scrolls of Indoctrination in the past year and is responsible for bringing in several members who have gone on to success themselves.

Because of her steady activity and tireless efforts on behalf of Plagueis' journeymen, it's long past time she join the ranks of the Equites. Good work Taranrae and keep up the good work!

Grand Inquisitor Arden Karn di Plagia, 2014-11-06 21:42:12 UTC
Additional reasons

The leap from Journeyman to Equite is a difficult one. For the first time in a members' career, they no longer have the hand-rails of promotion requirements. When the path is less clear, many members lose their way.

Taranae is not one of those members. Quietly, and often behind the scenes, Taranae has been one of the most productive members of Plagueis during my time here. She was one of 4 members of Plagueis to compete in all 5 Fading Light events. She's accrued an Anteian Cross, a Dark Cross, several Scrolls of Indoctrination, countless Crescents, and even more Clusters of Fire.

But if participation was all that mattered, everyone in this club would be an Elder. Taranae ran a DB-wide Pazaak tournament, advertised the competition and managed the bracket. She's also been Plagueis Clan Rollmaster for 5 months, providing an email turnaround of less than 24 hours to all of our Clan's Journeymen, overseeing the Master-Student Program, and helping with the Battleteams.

If I need something done, I know I can count on Taranae to do it. She's had the mentality of an Equite for some time now. It's about time we let her show it.

Evant transferred back to the DJB in early August 2012. Right off the bat he took to being a constant presence on IRC, and within Scholae Palatinae’s efforts to expand activity. By Feb 2013, he had already manage not only to impress all of us here in HSP, but the DC as well, earning him a field promotion to Equite 1. This field promotion fueled Evant’s drive to even further push himself as a member of this club and into the amazing Aedile, Praetor, and friend he is today.

Long before Evant stepped up as HSP’s Aedile, he was already largely functioning as a leader of the house, just missing the fancy title. He was the catalyst for HSP’s year long Looking Home Campaign, a modular house event that let our members see the great many cool planets and locations of our home system, as well as have an impact on the over arching storyline of the house. He was the main planner on both the Ptolomea and Caina rounds, and both were massively well received by HSP members.

He also has kept a careful eye on the HSP military pages. It is not a rare site to see himself, Dante, and Archangel discussing various different tactics and plans for HSP’s fleet, and what they would like to see purchased next. When those purchases go through, Evant wastes no time in getting them up on the wiki and making sure all our military pages reflect the changes to our fleet. As a person who has absolutely no clue about military breakdowns, or has an extensive knowledge of SW ships, soldiers, and equipment, this task alone has made Evant a god send.

But Evant goes beyond just helping with the big picture stuff. He reaches out to members and connects with them. If any have a question or idea, no matter how far out there, Evant comes up with ways to work with them and help solidify themselves as members of the club. I’ve seen him start small “unofficial” runons with other members just to work with them developing their characters. He has never been too busy to work with someone, offer advice, or give reassurance.

And he doesn’t just talk the talk, but walks the walk. He may have several positions in the club, and a great many big ideas to bring members, activity, and great fun times to all, but he gets down in the dirt along side everyone else. He participated in competitions through every round of the Crusade. He participates in members regular competitions. He writes amazing fictions and earns some great Clusters of Ice. When I send out emails highlighting competitions, he adds in with his own experience working on said competitions.

Evant continues to exceed every hope and expectations I could have of him. He is a tremendous leader, member, and friend. Not many people are willing to dive head first into the thick of it, but Evant is. He is leading the charge in doing everything possible to better this club, and for that I am immensely grateful. There really aren’t enough words to explain how much I enjoy working with Evant. And now as the Dark Crusade is at a close, I am honored to call for his elevation to the rank of Sith Battlemaster. Congratulations Evant, drinks are on you!

Lord Idris Adenn, 2014-11-06 18:37:34 UTC
Additional reasons

Evant and I click, really well; it's a simple as that. We clicked as Magistrates and continue to click as MAA-Praetor. He is a rock of statistical analysis, project development, controversial ideas, and generally interesting conversation. He does the usual: approving requests quickly, remanding with thought out explanations, so on. His trademark is a sometimes lengthy email that breakdowns each component of a request, it's validity, and his reasoning behind liking or not liking it. Often, these explanations are so great I tell him to just send them to the requesting member. This is day to day stuff for Evant.

Then there's the rest, a list I cobble together best I can: he helps me write fiction updates for my reports and works with me to generate competitions and future MAA fictional plot lines. He helped generate the wording of simplified request pages (Remember/Information/Tip). He helps maintain a folder of MAA Google docs and spreadsheets detailing our projects, manuals, and more.

Evant is the driving force behind the competition audit. It was his idea to apply 30-45 day warnings to judge competitions. He contacted organizers about old competitions, in some cases closing them himself. He created an audit spreadsheet to track everything, and helped write the emails that now go out to organizers. Stemming from this, Evant solely wrote the new Competitions course for the Shadow Academy, notes and exam, and now serves as its Docent.

There are several other major projects relating to everything from promotion requirements to medal awarding that Evant is one of the core brainstormers and proposal drafters for, but I leave details out while things develop. Evant has totally blown away my expectations as a Praetor. He is everything and more that I ask of him and I never worry about MAA dealings with Evant helping organize things. He does great work and is fun to work with along the way. His role as P:MAA is one of leadership, yet even while keeping up with everything here he is also the Aedile of HSP (a position he specifically asked to maintain when I offered him Praetor). More details on his work elsewhere in the other recommendations, but on the MAA front I have no complaints. His work is exemplary and will continue to amaze for months to come. Thank you, Evant. This is only the beginning.

Zanet Xox, 2014-11-06 18:34:38 UTC

Evant Taelyan. One of the most shining members of the Imperial House. He has been an outstanding Aedile, since he got appointed to this position. He has immediately started working on House projects and activities, which he has taken over from me. I am aware that it has been quite a challenge not to get confused with all the mess that he has taken over after my resignation. However, Evant has proven himself to be far better than necessary to deal with all these projects. He continues my work and expand my ideas to get them rid of any flaws and to make them excellent.

Apart from his duties as the Aedile of House Scholae Palatinae, Evant has proven himself as a reliable and impressive member of the MAA Staff, as the Magistrate and the Praetor to the Master-At-Arms. For his work in the MAA Office, he has been awarded with a Sapphire Blade. I am sure that Aabs has praised Evant for his merits in tha MAA Office, so I will not deprive him of this pleasure.

In addition to this, he has authored an excellent SA course regarding the competition creation, which falls into the Leadership Department. Though he has been a Docent only for few days, I can see that Evant has not only been a grader, but also a teacher. It is extremely important in the service on the SA Staff.

Finally, despite assuming the position of the Aedile of House Scholae Palatinae and other important positions in the Dark Jedi Brotherhood, Evant has remained as humble and hard-working person as I remembered him before. He has actively taken part in numerous competitions and placing in many of them, as well as earning numerous Clusters of Ice for his competition entries. He is not only an excellent leader, but also a beacon of activity.

All these achievements and merits, described in details by others, bring me to the conclusion that Evant has risen above and beyond what is necessary to become a Sith Battlemaster. I am honoured to see this moment in Evant's career in the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. Congratulations!

Adept Xantros, 2014-11-06 18:35:55 UTC

Evant is not one of my members, but I wish he was so I’d be able to claim to have taught him everything I know. Alas, while being a leader in another unit, he still manages to step up to help the Brotherhood at large as Praetor to the Master At Arms--one of the most underrated and underappreciated positions in the Brotherhood if you ask me. Why do I say this, you ask? Good question. When you think about it, the MAA’s job is to oversee the awarding and promoting of our members, which in a volunteer club serve as our only true form of showing appreciation to the work our members put in. A lot of the times, this means upholding a standard, and a lot of times, this puts the MAA team at odds or against the stubborn Unit leaders (like me) arguing cases for their members. For the past year, I personally had a very difficult time working with the MAA Emeritus. I say this, because not just with Aabs doing a stellar job taking over, but his decision to make Evant Praetor, ended up being one of the best moves the MAA office has made in years. At first, I wasn’t sure. I had only seen Evant in limited action as a magistrate up to that point, and from our talks as fellow DB members.

And then came my first time “discussing” things with the new MAA staff. Taking a cue from the rough grounds I had become used to standing on with the former staff, I came off as a bit hostile in my initial encounter with a remand request with the new team. Evant was the first person to get back to me. And the funny thing was, he didn’t just say, “No, you’re wrong, you’re an idiot, no one else has a problem with me saying no, something must be wrong with you.” No. Evant went into painful detail to explain to me what the issues with our recommendation submission were. He was patient. He never snapped back at me. He remained level headed and logical against one of the more vocal unit leaders in the club. He even reached out to me personally. He found me on WhatsApp, and we discussed things on our mobile phones together while I was at work/when we had time. In another instance, he managed to show me something I had overlooked, and made it so that we could give a member MORE reward instead of wasting efforts prematurely into a different kind of award. It was something that had never occurred to me, and only does so now because of the conversations Evant had with me. The underlying thing to take from this story is that Evant made the effort to listen.

Listening is something that you cannot teach. It’s a skill that all good leaders need to possess, but not all of them have it by default. I’m guilty of it, as are most of us. Evant really surprised me though by showing that he has it in surplus.

As a person, Ev is awesome. My colleagues will have no doubt covered all of his other awesome deeds. I hope my testimonial helps lends support to a much deserved and overdue promotion. Congrats Ev, and keep doing your thing.

Evant is an extraordinary member of the house as well as the brotherhood, doing extensive work in many areas that would not be possible without his help. He has proven to be a member well deserving of a promotion based on everything that he has accomplished and continues to strive for the good of others. He is easy to contact with a great turnaround of emails and can always be found on IRC for questions or just to chat.

Evant is a very active member of the house, who participated in various events before his help was needed in elsewhere. He was part of the leadership summit of our light side house of the club to aid the leadership in their house activities. He saw too much of the light and decided it was time to come back to House Scholae, whom the members accepted happily. He became the Aedile of the house which had rapidly shown and continues to demonstrate the great and dynamic leadership we have in this house. He has committed himself to the restructure of the house under a more imperial role intended for what this house is in a fictional role. This plan formulated into an extensive project that included identities of each Battle team within the house, providing a framework of what the teams are in the eyes of the club from fiction. Each team specialized in some kind of role that engaged each member in the pursuit of their own role through battle team level activity. This sparked activity from the teams which played out into a house wide event with each team. This was a historical event where each team competed against each other for the title of Battle team of the house. These ideas are still ongoing and growing into something more each day as the imperialization begins to take shape. These results and future outcomes simply would never come to bear or possible without Evant.

Evant is also Praetor to the Master at Arms, doing his part for the entire club for each member to enjoy what we are all about. He has been a longtime staff of the Master at Arms for over eight months and his exemplary work over time has been shown through the award of a sapphire blade. He has contributed work to the shadow academy as well to provide a course based on organizing and leading competitions that meet the standards of academy and the office of the Master at Arms. His contribution to this course awarded him an Anteian Cross for his assistance in creating it. Currently, he is the Docent of the course, spreading his knowledge and wisdom both as an instructor and a MAA staff which I am unable to see no better until it is passed to the next instructor.

Evant has and no doubtingly will continue to put forth everything he possibly can for the good of his fellow house as a leader and member. He is a very resourceful member to the Brotherhood through his time and effort into the positions that he holds. These are reasons but surely not all of why Evant is well deserving of a promotion and will continue to do is best to benefit this brotherhood. He is what a great leader and a member of the club should be and is a great example for others. Congratulations Evant! For the Empire!

I have come to know Evant through my entire career here in the Dark Jedi Brotherhood, and he has always been one of the standing pillars of Scholae. He is always there to help bounce ideas off of (one of which will be taken off in our house very soon!) help you with research, wiki editing, encouragement, and all around companionship. He’s a friend, a mentor, and by god, he’s a scoundrel! (But you’re our scoundrel!) He is always there to push everyone focused, forward, and always enjoying themselves. The big thing that sets Evant apart is his dedication. He is extremely dedicated to his friends, his house mates, and the DB as a whole! He never ceases to amaze me with all he does. Personally, I enjoy his company, he pushes me to do more SA exams than him, to participate in competitions, and a friendly face.

I am proud to recommend him for this promotion, as he deserves it after everything he has done for his House. There is so much more that I could say, but it would be a little redundant after all of the recs, but that doesn’t demean what he has done. Evant is an amazing friend, dark jedi, and colleague.

In the past seven plus years since my return to the Brotherhood, I have a been an active member of Scholae Palatinae. I have witnessed many new leaders come and go through the halls of leadership within our clan/house, and I will say that Evant is one of the most thorough and competent leaders that we have had in the past seven years.

Hosting competitions is one of the main duties of the aedile, and Evant has excelled at this by hosting 20 competitions since his return to Scholae from a short stay in HOU. Through these competitions, Evant has worked hand in hand with our Emperor, Xen, as they have pushed the Imperial theme forward for the first time since the days of Thran. The year long Coming Home campaign has been the device for this during his tenure as Aedile, and the competition has allowed an outlet for both our journeymen and equites to progress their characters within the confines of the Scholae Palatinae storyline.

Evant has also taken a strong interest in furthering our Imperial identity through the use of the wiki. Over the past three years, Evant has dedicated large chunks of his time in trying to clean up our conglomeration of wiki pages and make it into something with a unified theme. His work with our military forces has been exceptional, and he has learned a lot from Archangel and I on how to effectively use our forces that are on the order of battle. As part of our War Council, Evant has a personal interest in learning how warfare is conducted in the Star Wars universe, and it has helped out Archangel and I tremendously with formulating possible battle plans and troop dispositions for our order of battle and in competitions.

These are just some of the ways that Evant has contributed to Scholae Palatinae and the Brotherhood at large. His service in other areas such as the MAA office is well documented on this recommendation, and his personal entries in large scale competitions is equally as impressive as the rest of his resume. I congratulate him on this promotion, and I hope to see him find his way into the upper echelons of the club over the next few years.
