Times are changing in the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. Uji, or Donny as we all know him (the artist formerly known as "Snar"), is one of Arcona's most active and passionate members. He set club records with his race to DJK, and unlike many who hit that mark, Donny never slowed down or stopped. In only 5 months since his Knighting, Donny went on to serve as a BTL for 3 months, and has been serving as Magistrate for the last 2 months as well. Every day he is constantly asking what he can do to help, and how he could give back to his Clan and his Clanmates. As a BTL, Donny lead by example in the last round of the Dark Crusade- and was even a Special Forces selection at that. On top of that, he has dedicated himself to helping Gaming in the Brotherhood by creating events and encouraging others to participate. It's this level of dedication and hard work that seperates him from any of the other Dark Jedi Knights in the club. For this reason, and those of his Aedile, Quaestor and and the Fist, I request his elevation to the rank of Templar.

I'm sorry I couldn't have gotten you this sooner, Donny. You are an invaluable member of Clan Arcona, and it is a pleasure to serve as your Consul. Keep up the awesome work, and welcome, officially, to the big leagues, where you've been in my eyes all along.

I am honoured to be recommending S’nar for this promotion to the rank of Obelisk Templar. His hard work and passion for the House and Clan has been nothing less than extraordinary as well as his willingness to help others. He has been a beacon of activity and has recently taken on leadership inside of the Militant House.

Since his last promotion he has already managed to achieve his Steel Cross for his devotion and hard work during the Dark Crusade, tying into his massive presence in gaming and fiction. S’nar has managed to pick up a total of five-hundred and nineteen Clusters of Fire, an impressive amount in such a short time, keeping himself as one of the top contenders inside of the gaming field. Due to his massive amount of activity and work in the various events during the Dark Crusade he has managed to pick up four Gold Novae as well as two Silver Novae, pretty much outdoing any other Knight in the Brotherhood. Don has taken part in a total of Eleven Dark Crusade events, covering a broad field of what was available to him.

Despite his hard work during the Dark Crusade, he still stays as active during the rest periods in the Dark Crusade. He has participated in competitions and been an inspiration for his team, focusing them and giving them a drive as well as taking part himself. During the competitions he has entered, he has managed to achieve a Emerald Star as well as two Topaz Stars. Showing that he is willing to put himself out there even during down time from the Dark Crusade and leading Dark Forge through example. He has also focused on gaming in his spare time, ripping up Diablo 3 as well as Star Wars: The Old Republic, earning himself two Pendants of Blood for his hard work, working with others on Flashpoints and chapters. He has also earned a Scroll of Foundation during his time here.

Now to talk a bit about his leadership time inside of House Galeres, he started off as an Executive Officer inside of Soulfire Strike Team. His work there was something close to outstanding, he smashed through the wiki work which needed updating, seeing the Battleteam Wiki page brought up to a updated level and to a high standard. Though that’s not the only thing he did during his tenure as XO, he continued to keep in constant contact through IRC and email with these members. This helped drive Soulfire through a round of Dark Crusade with the Battleteam Leader.

By proving himself, he has then assumed the mantle of Dark Forge Battleteam Leader, filling the shoes with ease he got straight to work. Since taking on the position I have seen constant emails to his team as well as a report out trying to keep the members motivated and active. He has also been helping the Journeymen to keep them on track to achieve their goal of Knighthood. He has also engaged with his Equites, ensuring that they enjoy their time in the team and have projects to contribute to, one of which is to bring more of Galeres’ background (SCEPTER) into the picture. He is a hard working and supportive Battleteam Leader and one that I couldn’t do without, his work ethic is something everyone should strive towards.

I am proud to be giving S’nar this recommendation for this elevation into the Equite Ranks. Congratulations, man, you earned it. Keep up the hard work in the future and I look forward to continuing to work with you.

Quaestor of House Galeres

I could honestly wax on and on about S’nar’s many accomplishments and accolades (and we all know I could, too), but I’ll be brief and just say a bit about my teammate and friend.

His presence, not only as a fellow Galeres leader and Arconan Summiteer, but as a clanmate and brother, has been nothing but a boon. He channels his managerial experience and his fair, logical perspective into all his opinions and decisions, and I can confidently say I’ve learned more simply from that differing perspective than anything else, both as a leader and as a person. He takes initiative in all he does, works to cooperate with all the members of his Clan, and never stops planning how to better Dark Forge, Arcona, and the Brotherhood for all their members.

On a more personal note, S’nar has been a dear friend to me in the time I’ve known him. He’s a beacon of humor, composure, and courage; he makes us laugh when we’re not-so-happy, calms us down and discusses issues when things aren’t going so well, and has never been afraid to speak his mind or advocate for himself or another. And, while he’s a brother to me, his most admirable quality is probably that he’s also a brother to everyone here. I’ve had the privilege in my life to know a few, truly kind people; and no matter what varying opinions he may garner with his actions, I know S’nar is one of them.

I can’t think of anyone who deserves this more; so, congratulations on Equite, brother. You’ve more than earned it.

Since Uji has taken the position as my Magistrate he has been involved in several projects. The most visible of them are the Gaming Competitions he has been running for the members of the Club. Uji organized the September Starcraft II based event, set up a Mass Effect 3 Competition to determine if there was enough interest to bring it in as a supported platform, and most recently has run the Zombie Highway Mobile Gaming Event.

He is currently in the process of writing a Gaming focused SA Course, which will be added to the Journeyman Hall after the project completes. Uji consistently provides valuable feedback on projects which are being worked on within the Fist Office, most recently the ROC revamp which went live earlier this month.

Miranda Goto has been with Taldryan for a considerable amount of time since her joining the Dark Jedi Brotherhood and Taldryan, working hard to help the House staying on top of the Clans and Houses of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood.

Miranda by now has served as BTL of the Wardens of Unity Battleteam for about six month. During this time she has always fulfilled her duties to the letter, ran a total of two competitions and made sure that her fellow Battleteam members where always informed to everything going on in the House and Brotherhood through regularly reports.

Despite her duties as BTL, Miranda managed to participate in a wide-spread field of events, ranging from House-scale competitions up to DB-wide Run-ons, for which she has recently been rewarded with a Gold Novae. Furthermore, Miranda was till today able to snag herself a total of eight Crescents (1x with Amethyst, 3x with Emerald and 4x with Topaz Star) as well as 5 Clusters of Ice and one Dark Cross.

Outside her duties as BTL, Miranda has passed the requirements for the Dark Pundit - Essentials Maven and submitted an outstanding total of 12 pages of Character Fiction to the Taldryan Summit

PRT Lucyeth is continuing to show a stellar drive and work ethic. Since his promotion to PRT, he has managed to complete his tasks for a promotion to the rank of Guardian in a very timely manner, along with a few extra things. He has been a PRT for the required amount of time and in that he has, visited IRC and #scholae on multiple occasions, passed all three of the Order Core exams, in addition to another 11 exams (which include Leadership fundamentals, Philosophy I and II, ACC Basics, Alchemy, Lightsaber, Astronomy, Capital Ships, History of the Sith Empire IV, Pre-Republic History, and Mandalorian Studies). He has participated in 5 competitions, including the recent mini house event “Looking Home Campaign” ones, and even went the extra mile to participate in the runon associated with it. He has an approved CS. He has completed a min of two page fiction, a very good start on his wiki page and a Dark Cross.

I’ve been very excited as I’ve seen Lucyeth’s name pop up again and again in my inbox, irc, and forum. Members like him are the life blood of the club. For his excellent and amazing work, I recommend he be raised to the rank of Guardian. Massive congratulations Lucyeth! Drinks are on you!

Lucyeth has shown outstanding progress over the past 28 days, going above and beyond what is required to attain the rank of Guardian. He has taken and passed all three of the Order Core exams as well as a further 11 exams, and in this area he strives to better himself having retaken exams to achieve a higher grade. In his writing he also pushes himself to do better, having completed a two page character fiction and subsequently making changes based on my feedback. He has submitted to 5 competitions, including 3 from HSPs Looking Home events, and has placed with each of his submissions. He has an approved CS and is making excellent progress in learning to write in relation to it. He has made a very strong start to his wiki and it is frequently updated to reflect his fictions and competition entries. He has visited IRC and is a frequent presence in #scholae. Last but certainly by no means least he has earned himself a Dark Cross. Furthermore, Lucyeth is already making excellent progress on his tasks towards JH.

Lucyeths drive and determination to constantly push himself is a joy to see, and it is my pleasure to recommend him for promotion to the rank of Guardian. Congratulations Lucyeth, you should be proud of all you've achieved so far.

Marrek Gunstinson is one of the most active Journeyman I've seen join the Dark Brotherhood recently, so much that I knew who he was and what he was doing before I joined Arcona. I knew upon my appointment as Quaestor that ensuring his promotion to Dark Jedi Knight was one of my goals before the year ends. Whenever he has time he is on IRC talking with any Arconan in the channel. He has passed the Leadership Fundamentals exam and ran his own competition, which was a trivia, just recently. He's registered on the forums, which he then used to get 1st place in the Svolten run-on during Phase Two Chapter One of the Dark Crusade. He received a Dark Cross months ago for his tremendous activity. He has more than met the time requirement and has officially finished five pages of character fiction. Marrek is exactly the type of Journeyman any Summit is excited to have and a role model for other Journeyman.

For all this activity and more, I am ecstatic to promote you to Jedi Hunter and hope to be promoting you to Dark Jedi Knight in the not so distant future. Congratulations!

Cello has over the past 5 years has earned not only many competition and merit awards for his service to the Dark Jedi Brotherhood but also shown an an interest to studies and learning more to further develop as a productive member. He has seen multiple masters set forth a plan for his trials and leave before they could be completed, this past summer he approached again looking for someone to look into his past and put together a new path to help him finally complete the trials he has started so many times and ran a competition seeking support for completing his lightsaber which was just finished (summit assigned task). In the time I have spent discussing the Dark Jedi Brotherhood with Cello and getting to know him, I found someone passionate about his character and the future with a genuine interest in doing more with the limited time he has given his real life obligations. All that he has accomplished is clearly outlined in his past, but I feel it is long overdue given his long past that he finally wield his lightsaber and join his fellow brothers in Scholae Palatinae in our future endeavors. JH Cello’s promotion to Dark Jedi Knight has been a long time coming and more than well earned. In his long history here in Scholae Palatinae he has completed the following requirements to reach DJK. He has earned a couple merit awards, placed in many competitions (a majority of the ones he has participated in actually). He participated in many competitions including a difficult Voice competition. He has organized 4 different competitions, including one finished just this last week as part of his Summit Tasks. He passed the Leadership Fundamentals and Leadership Studies courses. He has two Mavens (General History and Philosophy).

Beyond that Cello has remained and endured where many would have given up and left. He has been on the short end of the stick too many times to count but still remains. Despite hardships that include having his former master cause issues for the club, he has continued to strive toward excellence. This dedication and perseverance is something severely lacking in many members.

I know its been a long road Cello. But you’ve been a real champion along the way. Great work on hitting DJK. Drinks are on you!

It sometimes takes much longer to become a Dark Jedi Knight than we would wish; often due to the factors, which are beyond our control. During my time in the Dark Jedi Brotherhood, I have seen Cello doing his best to fulfill the last requirments for the rank of the Dark Jedi Knight, despite unfavourable real life circumstances.

Now, I am glad to see that Cello has completed all requirements to become a fully trained Dark Jedi Knight. His achievements have already been described, so I just want to say that it is a great moment both in life of a Dark Jedi Brotherhood member and our community to cheer for someone's success, especially such important as becoming a Knight. Let this recommendation be my small token of appreciation for Cello's persistence, hard work and dedication, which are far beyond displayed by many other members of the Brotherhood. Congratulations!

Seren Dipity Puer-Irae is a studious journeyman. I recruited her into the Brotherhood and served as her Aedile in Tarentum for a little over 3 months and she was one of the most active members we had.

She has logged onto IRC and visited the clan channel, registered for the forums, earned a merit award, participated in more than 10 competitions, ran more than 1 competition herself, and earned way beyond 25 Clusters of Fire. She worked hard to ensure mostly she only has time requirements left for her promotions. Today she completed her MAA Task, which was to update the Policies and Projects page on our Wiki. This required linking any completed pages, finishing any pages that weren't complete, and creating Wiki pages for several policies including Banned Names, Clan, House, and Independent House Guidelines, Dark Brotherhood Family Policy, Honorary Clan and Family Name Policy, Guide to Custom Species Creation, and the DB RPG Guide. For her hard work completing all the requirements and this MAA Task to bypass the time requirement I would love to see Seren Dipity promoted to the rank of Padawan.

Seren's efforts since arriving here in Odan-Urr have easily defined her as one of the hardest working journeymen (and member!) of the house. As her master, Ernodeth, as greatly outlined above; Seren has successfully earned her right to advancement to the next journeymen rank and deserves to be now called Padawan for the amazing efforts she has made since her last promotion. Competing regularly is a merit in itself but Seren has driven past this with a great reputation of placing; a point I believe needs to be recognized.
