The Kaleesh never saw it coming. One minute, he was meditating, the next, his mask was ripped off and a damp cloth was pressed against his face. He tried to struggle, but a vice-like arm wrapped around his neck. Unable to stop reflex, he sucked in a breath, tasting the noxious tang of chemicals. Sleep found him.

He awoke some time later, with a bandage around his upper arm, which was stinging and felt rubbed raw. Groggily, he felt around until a light came on. His Master and Battleteam Leader was stood by the door to Seshai's quarters, looking smug.

"What happened?" The nonhuman grated out.

"I knocked you out, and gave you a tattoo."

"What?!"

Teroch shrugged and lit a cigarette, taking his time to exhale before responding. "It's a tradition my Dad had - any of his apprentices which made it to Knighthood got Sashar's mark. I figured I may as well continue the tradition."

S'nar processed the words, his mind still groggy from being drugged. "You mean...?"

"Yeah. C'mon, There's some people who want to see you."

I am pleased to declare that Jedi Hunter S`nar Que Seshai is ready for promotion to the prized rank of Dark Jedi Knight. His quick work in getting through the ranks is truly an example for any Arconan Journeyman to follow.

First of all, S`nar has completed both a ten page character fiction and a quality Wiki article, which is his own character’s article page. Both of these show he is skilled when it comes to character development.

S`nar is also incredibly active in gaming, having obtained seventy-seven Clusters of Fire so far with many more on the way. Many of these were achieved through completing an amazing fifteen Old Republic events, helping not just himself but many others within the Brotherhood guild.

His excellent activity is also demonstrated by the fact he has earned both an Anteian Cross and a Dark Cross despite having only joined in April. Furthermore, he has shown himself to be fully aware of the theories behind leadership, having passed both the Leadership Studies (scoring an excellent 97%),and Leadership Fundamentals (in which he scored a perfect 100%) exams. The fact that he also has the Dark Maven in Philosophy degree only further reflects his grasp on various Brotherhood and fictional concepts. S`nar further demonstrated a readiness for leadership by running a trivia in the #arcona IRC channel, for which he recieved a Legion of the Scholar.

Finally, S`nar has completed both a Master-At-Arms assigned task, which was to develop his Battleteam’s Wiki page with a variety of information including its weapons and to create some commando NPCs, and also his summit task, which was to update the Wiki pages relating to Galeres and S.C.E.P.T.E.R.

Congratulations, S`nar. If you keep this pace up, you’ll be an elder by Christmas. ;)

I am honoured to be recommending S’nar for Knighthood. He has been an exemplary member of Clan Arcona and House Galeres ever since joining. He is always helping others and the House in anyway possible, proving himself to be both an admirable and exceptional addition to the Brotherhood.

Though everyone else above has spoken about what he has done, I would like to take the time to speak about him as a person and how he has impacted the Clan and House. Since joining he has taken no time to get to know everyone from Clan Consul to the other Journeymen he has made an impression on them all. He speaks to members on a regular basis keeping them motivated and passionate about the club in anyway he can.

This took the shape of taking on the responsibilities of running and helping members in ToR, he has done well over twenty times easily, helping get members involved in a regular FP group that they wanted to see created. He is always taking time to help members regardless of what he is doing. Trying to keep everyone happy is something that quite frankly the dude excels at and takes pride in doing it.

He has personally helped myself out on multiple occasions this is with just generally asking for work to do, or even when im tied down and a member needs some help going and speaking to them and trying to fix the issue. He has adapted to the club perfectly and formed solid friendships around him, all I hear the members say is about how he has helped, and how he is a genuinely nice guy.

Onto his service inside of Arcona, since joining Soulfire Strike Team he has taken on the mantle of Executive Office of the team. He has served with the Battleteam Leader, learning from him and gaining valuable leadership experience, sending out regular emails to the team to keep in constant with them. Pushing them hard in the IG’s as well as in the Dark Crusade showing a constant presence and stability inside of the team.

When Sang came over to him we needed an update on the Galeres wiki page, as well as the S.C.E.P.T.E.R page, both had become slightly out of date. Expecting this to take a while we were surprised when we found S’nar had pretty much done it instantly. Showing that he can work within targets and times perfectly and with dedication that is surprising to see from a Journeymen.

I am proud today to see another Knight of Arcona progress. He deserves this rank and I can only see him growing further in his time within the club. Congratulations on Knighthood S’nar and keep up the amazing work you are doing.

S’nar. Donny. Eyebrows. This man is a veritable bastion. His activity is second to none, and his dedication to Arcona has been demonstrated thrice over. I honestly don’t have a bad word to say about him, and let’s not forget, I’m one of the most cynical, critical people in the Brotherhood.

You’ve done fantastically well, Don. You’ve gone from strength to strength, developing as a key member of our little corner of the internet. I see great things for the future and, if I could, I’d be writing an EQ1 recommendation. It seems DJK will have to do.

I am pleased to declare that Azasell Kirin is now ready for promotion to Guardian. Since rejoining Arcona a few days ago his activity level has been fantastic.

First of all, Azasell is now a regular on IRC, where he is becoming fast friends with many other Arconans. He has also shown a good level of knowledge both relating to being a Krath, as well as being part of the Royal Guard, having passed both his order core and the GMRG history exams. He also qualified for the ACC at some point before it was shut down, showing that he had what it takes to be granted entry into the Combat Centre.

Azasell has also not one, but two Dark Crosses, fulfilling the medal requirements, and has obtained fifteen clusters of fire. He obtained these CFs through taking part in five Old Republic pvp events, confirming that he is among the most active in the Dark Brotherhood’s guild

Finally, Azasell has completed the time requirement for the rank of Guardian.

Congratulations, Guardian. House Galeres and Clan Arcona are looking forward to your continued progression within the Shadow Clan.

• Have a second level 50 character in ToR
• Become rank III in the GMRG
• Place in a competition

"Again."

Fet'ai'narun stood in the doorway of the small training space. To see her dressed in formal robes was rarity but the Chiss wore them today as she watched her apprentice with quiet scrutiny.

"K'imsi." The Chiss spoke the command sharply in Cheunh, breaking the silence, slipping into her circle of awareness and pacing its edge. and interrupting the order of the Kata.

Fire was Atyiru's least favorite of the Elemental Kata. It represented what was quick, striking and meant to cause maximum damage. These were not the ways of the young Miraluka but she understood the need for it and executed the moves without issue.

"Csar."

<i>Earth.</i> Slowing, Atyiru changed her footing. Her moves were stronger, footing more solid. The Kata did did not flow as well this way but at no point in her teachings has the Chiss promised ease of process.

"Ch'avz." Fet'ai'narun spoke the word for water as if calling the name of an old friend. This allowed her Apprentice an odd number of steps before the next change.

"Ch'aasohn." Etain's voice was smooth as she suddenly dropped to sweep the legs from beneath her Apprentice.

The move was lightly evaded as Atyiru moved with the grace of a summer breeze. <i>Air.</i>

"Again." The Chiss began to stalk the Miraluka in a circle once more, calling the names of the elements in the most difficult orders. She called Fire the most.

It was hard for Etain to do this sort of thing. She knew the Miraluka had a type of unique sight but she always feared something would not carry over correctly in her lessons. Still, she shook it off. This moment would be a turning point in the girl's life and there wasn't time to waste with personal anxieties. Being Master to this girl had taught her many things and she was certain Atyiru was ready. The Miraluka had absorbed everything anyone had thrown at her and excelled at an alarming pace.

Even for her excellence though, Etain could tell the girl was tiring. They had drilled long and hard today with Atyiru performing wonderfully and Fet'ai'narun could not muster the will for further scrutiny.

"Enough." Etain's voice was hard with a sense of finality, stopping Atyiru in a position that left her facing away from her Master.

Without another word, the Chiss tossed her Apprentice the saber they had constructed. Atyiru caught it with ease and turned to face her Master, a smile spreading across her face. The Chiss gave a low, formal bow and as she straightened, brought her own saber from within her robes. The sound of ignition seemed to electrify the air as the violet blade illuminated the small space.

"Congratulations, Atyiru Araave." The Chiss smiled knowingly. Though blind to conventional sight, Atyiru felt that smile radiate through her bones. It was a challenge, an invitation, followed with her closing statement--

Firstly, she has completed a quality Wiki article, which was her own character’s page. She further proved her ability with character development by writing a ten page character fiction

Atyiru has also demonstrated a readiness for leadership, by passing both leadership exams, but also by organising the Independence Games event ‘Strippers are People too’. In addition to running a competition, she has also been incredibly active, by taking part in an excellent eleven competitions, these being: Six for Ten, Call your Banners, As the light fades from your eyes, A Dark Jedi on Earth, Driving the Brotherhood, The Courage to Change, Death Star,Tractor Beam, X-Wing, Rhelg: Advanced Recon, Rhelg: Training Encryption, Rhelg: My Enemy, My Friend and Rhelg: The Betrayers Headstone Run-On. She has also completed 4 ‘The Old Republic’ warzones. During these competitions, Atyiru was able to obtain a Crescent with a Ruby Star.

Atyiru has also been awarded a Steel Cross for her excellent activity levels.

Finally, Atyiru complete both an MAA task, which was to write a 7-page fiction, as well as her summit task, which was to use ‘The Old Republic’ to create new non-player characters for Proconsul Marick as part of the Antei Contract Bureau. Thanks to Atyiru’s work, the Antei Contract Bureau now has an extensive NPC database.

Congratulations, Abbey. You have proven to be one of Clan Arcona’s finest students.

I am honoured to be recommending Atyiru Araave for her promotion to the final rank of Dark Jedi Knight. She has been a beacon of activity inside of Clan Arcona and House Galeres. Continuing to keep up her amazing level of activity inside of the club.

Though most people would have talked about her achievements I am going to take the time to speak about the kind of person Atyiru is inside of the club. She is a happy and chatty part of the Arcona IRC channel, getting to know members of the clan and forming friendships. Though she continues to step up not just as a member driving past that boundary with ease offering assistance to multiple members of Arcona with proofing there wiki work, spending hours at a time checking it over and helping them develop it. If that wasn't enough she also continues to proof fictions and other writing work. Helping members is something Atyiru continues to pride herself in and I continue to see it regularly.

Though she continued to get involved, taking the position of second in command of Dark Forge, getting a chance to help bond and forge a team with its Battleteam Leader. She has recently stepped up here and taken to it in her stride, helping look over the wiki page, emailing the team informing them off constant things that are taking place and keeping them actively participating in events, from the Independent Games straight to the Dark Crusade release. Assisting the Battleteam Leader in anyway she can and making a mark in House Galeres helping continue to keep a consistent level of activity. Wanting no self reward, or no gain from helping others is a rare quality and one that I am glad to say Atyiru has.She is continues to inspire old and new members alike, including myself in that list.

Often when I am doing work will find that she is always there asking if there is anything she can do. To be honest she a stable and reliable pillar of help that if I need anything done I can go to and she will do the task set to her without issue or complaint. It is rare to find someone who is like this and I appreciate the help that she gives.

Today I am proud and privileged to see Abbey move up to the rank of Dark Jedi Knight. She has been an outstanding member of this club, and though I do not always tell her so. She is a valuable and key member inside of House Galeres and Clan Arcona. Congratulations on your promotion to Dark Jedi Knight Abbey, its well deserved.
