I’m delighted to be recommending Draith Dreadsoul for his promotion from Acolyte to Protector. Having had multiple occasions to speak to Draith, I can certainly vouch for his positivity and his can-do attitude, and am glad to see these channeled in his efforts towards advancement in the Brotherhood.

Since his last promotion, he has completed all his Master at Arms-assigned requirements for his next rank, including logging on to IRC to chatting with members of the Brotherhood and Clan Arcona. He has also worked on his character’s history, developing an extensive background to put towards his wiki article. In order to expand his knowledge of the Brotherhood, he has taken and passed nine of the Journeyman Hall courses at the Shadow Academy, being Essentials 1: History, Essentials 2: Department​s, Essentials 3: Paths & Orders, Essentials 4: Ranks, Essentials 5: Organization, Essentials 6: Medals, Vendetta 1: Foundation​, Vendetta 2: Submission​, and Vendetta 3: Fiction and Graphics Tips. Finally, he has aided Arcona by participating in various competitions and Vendetta events, such as the Gravity Fiction and Alien Swarm training (Arcona Competition) and has also participated in the sentence Run-on competition.

Disciple Valksih has consistently and patiently played Alien Swarm with me in the last several days. While in itself this isn't a great feat, taking into consideration he works every day and has a family this is good merit for a promotion at his rank. He has leveled 13 levels (In just a few hours!!!) playing along myself while trying to do his best to get the best result for his House (while listening to my constant criticism and nagging) in the current round of the Dark Crusade. He has been polite and patient with my suggestions and advice in regards to the game and has been a prime example of a good Journeyman. This kind of behavior is what the Dark Brotherhood is all about and I believe he has earned his rank of Protector.

Disciple Valkish has had contact with me on several occasions over IRC. He has also been active in emails chains, as well as Alien Swarm. He is always eager to learn, and does what he can to the best of his abilities. Since his last promotion, Valkish has achieved 25 clusters of fire in SWTOR, as well as 2 pendants of blood for ranking up two characters to level 55 in SWTOR. In addition to this, he has completed a total of 9 Journeyman Hall exams, earning 2 Dark Pundits. The kind of eagerness he has in moving our house forward in the Crusades is one that is sorely needed. As a result, I believe Valkish has earned the right to take his next step in the Brotherhood.
