Despite both of us having been around Taldryan for a long time, it wasn't until the last six to eight months that I was really able to interact much with Tarax. But since then, as I have become more active in the House, Tarax has been constantly and consistently before me. I have had a chance to see what sort of member and person he has grown into, and I am impressed.

Tarax has a way about him that is distinctive. No, I don't refer to the fact that this member has an edge to him and doesn't mince words. I refer to the fact that, unlike many other members, Tarax cares deeply for the club, for Taldryan and for his fellow members. He will go to bat for anyone, pushing for what he thinks is right. He's not afraid to stand up for himself or others, even in the face of persecution because of it. People discard this member as if he were some type of troll; I see someone that is committed to getting things done, who will use the tactics he needs to get your attention.

I have been very encouraged by Tarax's contributions to the House. He has committed himself to the Master Student program and has helped guide new members through the Crusade and their promotion requirements. He has been ever present for all discussions about the House future and the Vendetta events, and he has contributed a lot by the way of useful assistance. He is always on IRC, and frequents the Google+ hangouts of the Grand Master. He has assisted with the projects that Tal members have going in the background, providing useful additions and commentary to things such as the new character sheet proposal. Tarax has been a beacon of activity. And, unbeknownst to many people, he has been this way for a long time.

So I sit here today and I am being asked if Tarax deserves a promotion. I am being asked, as a Grand Master and leader of this club, if I think this person is worth of one of the highest ranks of this club. I am being asked if I think this is a deserving recognition in light of the precedent of people who have achieved this rank before him.

And my response is a resounding YES. Tarax deserves this promotion, and I congratulate him on the excellence that brought him to it. ~ Jac Cotelin, Grand Master

Tarax Esophoros Taldrya Kor is an exceptional member of the Dark Brotherhood. Quick witted, candid, and honest; Tarax often provides the leaders of the Dark Brotherhood with an alternate opinion. Driven by the desire to see the Dark Brotherhood improve, Tarax's ideas have taken poor systems and processes and improved them greatly. In addition to Tarax's constant ability to keep everyone on their toes, he is also a dedicated participant of major Dark Brotherhood events. Tarax's efforts re-energized House Taldryan and helped lead them to a Dark Crusade Round 1 victory. Tarax is a beast and this promotion is overdue. Grats! ~ Darth Pravus, Grand Master

I've known and worked with Tarax for a very long time now and have even served or led him in more than one Clan. He's a...unique individual, we'll say, but someone who has grown over the years in the club. His work with Taldryan has been astounding. He has really stepped up recently to help lead and push its members back into activity. He has also always tried to find ways to help out the DB in general. He is a part of the OFH due to these qualities: Not out for himself, but instead out to better the club as a whole. When compared to many others out there he more than deserves this promotion, and it'll be nice to see him reach those upper- Equite echelons. Congrats!~ Halcyon Rokir Taldrya, Sith Lord

I come here today to extol the virtues of one of the most underrated, unrecognized, and criminally unappreciated members of the Brotherhood. Tarax Eosphoros Taldrya Kor’s contributions to the Brotherhood and to his unit go beyond the mere minimum standards of leadership and cross into the realm of a Brotherhood symbol.

It has been almost 10 years since Tarax first joined the Brotherhood. In that time, he has asserted his influence over a wide range of activities within the organization. Through several terms as a House or Clan leader of Taldryan, Tarax has demonstrated the ability to promote the well being of his members and his unit by mentoring journeymen, marshaling equites and elders in vendettas, and livening up IRC with his unique sense of humor. But beyond his official duties, Tarax has become a fixture in Taldryan and the Brotherhood. Indeed, is there even a member among those who dislike Tarax who could say with honesty that the Brotherhood would be the same without him?

Lastly, Tarax served as my Magistrate, Arbiter Magistrate, and Praetor for over a year when I served as Master at Arms. In that capacity, he assisted in my reforms by compiling data on promotions, medals, families, and Clan names. He also performed the duties of Master at Arms for a substantial portion of promotions, medals, and competitions that were processed during that time. I am ashamed to admit that Tarax was only compensated for his service to me with one Dark Cross. It is time to rectify that oversight.

I recommend that Tarax Eosphoros Taldrya Kor be elevated to the rank of Obelisk Primarch. His continued prominence and commitment to the Brotherhood can only serve to strengthen the organization in the future.

I love you, pole. <3 ~ Syn Kaek, Force Ghost; Former Master at Arms and Chancellor of the Brotherhood

Tarax is by far one of my favorite members in this great club. His pure epicness in the are of trolling shows how much he cares for the welfare of the Brotherhood. His actions in the past two months of the Dark Crusade have propelled his activity and stance in the Brotherhood above many. Going 5/5 in this past month's events alone shows his dedication to Taldryan, and his support for the great effort that the Dark Council has put into this year-long event. Having spent the last 3 and a half years at the rank of Equite 3, I, along with countless others, see that he is beyond fitting to become the rank of Obelisk Primarch. Many of his comrades and fellow DB'ers have been promoted for less, and by grapthars hammer the Brotherhood wants him to be recognized for his raw talent and ingenuity in the arts of awesome. My only wish from him is that he go forth this day as an Elite member of the Brotherhood, and Taldryan, as a Equite 4. By the power vested in the great position of Grand Master and Lord over the Iron throne, I ask that the Lion of Tarthos promote this reputable hulk of a man with his due penance. Forever loyal to this club,

  • Shaz'air Taldrya, Aedile of House Taldryan

Obelisk Exarch Tarax Eosphoros Taldrya Kor is by far one of the most impressive members I have met within the DB. He is keen minded and speak his mind free without sugarcoating for the best of House Taldryan and the Dark Brotherhood.

Outstanding in terms of activity Tarax has been part of the forefront members participating in 10 out of 11 events during the first two chapters of the Crusade. He has also shown his initiative to bring the ways of Taldryan to the next generation by taking on an Apprentice. Lastly and probably most important, Tarax is a steady voice on both of Taldryans Mailing lists (Summit and regular) and a core presence on IRC and the message boards, always willing to help out members from new to old.

His commitment to the Brotherhood and Taldryan in special over the last years makes him deserving this promotion to the rank of Obelisk Primarch, which I am highly recommending now as Quaestor of Taldryan.

~OP Rian Aslar, Quaestor of House Taldryan

"Tarax Eosphoros Taldrya Kor, or more simply Tarax as we call him, is a terrible human being. That said, he has committed himself to Taldryan: taking on an apprentice, helping to marshal the house through the first two phases of the Crusade, and engaged in leadership discussions at both the House and Brotherhood level. His integrity (as demonstrated by his honesty and fairness, unlike some recently promoted people) should be the standard to which all members of this club are measured. He is a credit to his unit and to the Brotherhood as a whole. Promote his ass to Obelisk Warlord or whatever we're calling the rank these days."

~DJM Pandala D. Howlader

I'm writing today to expound upon the many virtues of Tarax Eosphoros Kor, and recommend that he be elevated to the rank of Obelisk Primarch (née Obelisk Warlord).

Tarax has been a staunch member of Taldryan since his return, working tirelessly to help the House return to its former glory. As a constant advisor, a leader whose opinions are never clouded by secondary objectives or motives, Tarax is a true exemplar of Taldryan fortitude.

His willingness to always lend a hand in helping out new members, to try to guide them in what it means to be a member of Taldryan is unparalleled, and his dedication to Taldryan's core ideals is unrelenting.

When it comes to activity, almost no member of Taldryan or the Dark Brotherhood as a whole can put Tarax to shame. He is a constant presence on IRC, regularly joins in with the odd Google+ Hangouts that are currently in vogue, and is an constant and supportive member of both the Brotherhood forums and on the Taldryan mailing lists.

More importantly, Tarax is someone who knows what it is to put the good of the Brotherhood above his own personal reputation. Constantly and unfairly derided for being a troll, simply because he has the audacity to state his opinion, regardless of whether or not it is a popular one. Tarax has shown that his dedication to the Brotherhood outshines the selfish interests that often plague our members, and that he is more than worthy of receiving this promotion.

~ Dark Jedi Master Keirdagh Taldrya Cantor

Tarax has shown excellent dedication and devotion towards the improvement of all things Taldryan (And the DB, as well). He has participated heavily in recent competitions, has taken an Apprentice, and shows diligence in helping new members become antiquated with Taldryan. Tarax often goes above and beyond to help others, proofreading fiction, helping the leadership, and encouraging open communication with the Dark Council through the use of Google+.

Also, he's ******** awesome, and this is long overdue.

-- DA Sithspawn Taldrya

Tarax, you cheeky bastard you. When I met Tarax five and a half years ago, I had three words to describe him. "What. An. Asshole." He was crude, mean, and honestly? I wouldn't of cared what had happened to him. Two and a half years later - he was a completely different guy. You could actually stand to have a conversation with him. Present day? He's one of the top members of Taldryan. Tarax busts his ass every day for this place, doing every Crusade competition imaginable, coaching and assisting the newer members, Tarax has been on the top of his game lately.

I'll let all the people from the stone age tell you all about Tarax and when he was a youngin', but I whole heartily believe Tarax is deserving of this promotion. He deserves it more than anyone else. Rarely do you see an oldie die down and then come back to life with the furiousity that Tarax did, and maintain it no less. I have no doubt in my mind this guy's going to be one of the most active members of this Crusade and afterwards. ~Anubis Annedu, Former Aedile of House Taldryan

Tarax is not just a member. He has become an institution in the Brotherhood. Sometimes wrong, sometimes right, always outspoken, Tarax pushes for clarity and explanations in the things that he doesn't understand, and pushes people to think through all of their decisions. It's not just trolling. This is his way of pushing the Brotherhood forward. With integrity, with honesty, without guile and without malice, he pushes us all to be better members, better leaders, better people. He is willing to put his work where his mouth is. His recent activity for the unit in the crusade is not enough to get him promoted, but it is a great example of how he will go strong on a moment's notice to help his friends, his house, and this club. He has served as an advisor to more members than we can really quantify. Three grand masters and a bevy of retired dark councilors felt it necessary to write him a recommendation for promotion. The fact that he has that many friends in high places isn't just a matter of sucking up...he just doesn't do that. It's a matter of being valuable to this organization. It's a point that he cares deeply for this club, beyond personal glory. That in and of itself has seen others promoted to heights of the club, but when you take into account his work and his advice, it becomes obvious that Tarax is ready for the next rank. Certainly, he is not without his rough spots. He will defend himself and his friends and positions fervently, to the point of near trolling... but that is passion, passion to push the club to greater heights. And yet, when he is proven wrong, he is still strong enough, and humble enough to admit it and apologize. We have too few of those in this club. So, here's to you, the Brotherhood's resident White-Hat troll, the professional devil's advocate, and the voice of informed dissent. Thank you, Tarax. ~Muz Ashen, Dark Lord of the Sith.

There is a distinct difference between those who 'tell' and those who 'do'. Those who 'tell' tend to speak volumes about their many accomplishments. They tend to be vocal, loud and extremely brash about how deserving they are of an award, even when such an award may not be warranted. Those who 'do' are an entirely different breed. These people endeavour to enjoy their time in the Brotherhood. They tend to work quietly in the background, often without want or recognition. Inarya is very much the latter.

The last time this woman was promoted, I was a Dark Jedi Knight and an Aedile in House Galeres. That was the 3rd July, 2010. 2 years, 8 months, 19 days. She has been consistently active over that time, racking up a great many accomplishments, some tangible and some not so. Sanguinius and Cethgus go into further detail about the nuances of her tangible activity, but I'd like to just spend a moment shedding some light on that which is not so easily quantified. You see, Inarya is more than just a member. She is, for all intents and purposes, a guide. When I first joined Arcona, she was the first to offer an open hand and walk me through what the clan entailed. Since then, she has done the same with a great many more. I know she has personally mentored Kalon, K'tana, Nath and Bron, and I'm sure there are many, many more that she has helped behind the scenes. The point is, she is selfless. She works to help others. And that quality is rarely seen, and often overlooked. She has, in this sense, been a leader-cum-mentor. She has guided, she has directed and she has seen dividends paid. This kind of selflessness in the Brotherhood is the reason I am still here today. That applies across the board. Indeed, if it were not for her, I'm sure Arcona's membership would be a lot worse off.

Then we get to her leadership. Inarya was a boon to Arcona in the early days of my tenure within House Galeres. She was consistently active, and consistently driven to achieve. This filtered down into Sukhur's Legion, her unit. This Battleteam was, at the time, the most successful battleteam in Arcona bar none. That even compares to Marick's Oblivion Brigade - I need not say that Marick is an individual who went on to become my Proconsul. In this sense she was a pioneer. At any chance or opportunity, Inarya would give the membership something to immerse themselves in. Whether that was a competition (of which there were legion in my short time within the battleteam), project work or fictional development. She did all of this off her own back, and all of it for the betterment of her battleteam, House Galeres and - importantly - Clan Arcona. Of course, this demonstration of leadership ground to a halt when Arcona went into 'administration'. It was only after we were reclanned that she finally found her feet again.

Indeed, I have covered some of her 'leadership' inasmuch as her role as a mentor and a guide. I feel this is a demonstration of leadership that warrants more than a title. It is a selflessness given by an individual for the betterment of another. But, in some ways, she does this for the leaders of today, too. She is for all intents and purposes a background summit member. Her activity behind the scenes is nothing to be snubbed at. She is currently working with Invictus to action a complete wikipedia overhaul; she was one of the leaders in a group of individuals assigned to overseeing the Arconan Fleet reshuffle, and she is constantly begging for yet more work. This is action speaking louder than words. This is her being a member who 'does', rather than a member who 'tells'. She does this to help Arcona. She does this for the clan's sake. In that sense, she is as much a leader as myself and Marick.

I will now give way to the Quaestor and Aedile of House Galeres and let them shed some light on what I have coined her 'quantifiable' activity. Let me just say that this promotion is long overdue, but she has not moaned or asked. She has simply continued to do what she does. Now its time to see her activity and her help be rewarded properly.

Thank you, Inarya, for all your hard work and dedication. Congratulations.

~Wuntila Arconae. Consul. Clan Arcona.

This promotion rec has been a long time coming, since her last promotion, Inarya has been a stalwart member of Galeres, serving as a BTL of Revenance Virtuom for several months, a mentor to other BTLs and helping the general activity of the House. In the months since her last promo, Inarya has gained a Steel Cross, an Anteian Cross, a Dark Cross, 1 Crescent with Ruby star, 1 Crescent with Sapphire star, 2 Crescents with Emerald stars, 1 Crescent with Amethyst, 251 Clusters of Fire, 4 Clusters of Ice and 2 Seals of Defiance. She has also completed GMRG history and progressed through the ranks of the GMRG as well as completing the last two SA Cryptology exams in Dark Crusade with 100%.

Inarya has run the following competitions: The Price of Failure, Humble Beginnings and participated in the following competitions: [Operation Haystack] Graphics #1, Break up the Fist’s Praetor: Cethgus, [ToL -Week 1] Battleplan, [ToL -Week 1] Team Name/Logo, [ToL -Week 1] Antagonise, [ToL -Week 2] Battleplan Pt.2, [ToL -Week 2] Acronym, [ToL -Week 2] Poetry: Lost Love, [BTH - Week 1] Fiction, [BTH - Week 1] Graphics, [BTH - Week 1 & 2] Run-On, [BTH - Week 1] Flash Game, [BTH - Week 1] Trivia, Arcona/Plagueis ID Scan, Beyond the Horizon: A Cooperative Event, Dark Crusade Week 1 Events: Ancient Stone Fiction, The Hunt Graphics, Reconnaissance Team Wiki page, Encryption Shadow Academy Event. Dark Crusade Week 2 Events: My Friend, My Enemy Fiction, Battle for Rhelg Gaming Event, Advanced Recon Graphics Event, The Betrayers Headstone Run-On event, Encryption Shadow Academy Exam.

Inarya also participated heavily in the creation of the Arcona Force Wraiths wiki page, by collecting up all of the descriptions of the Force Wraiths in Arcona, as well as the creation of the wiki page itself and editing the page. Inarya also worked alongside Maaks in the creation and completion of the Revenance Virtuom Battleteam wiki page which consisted of the history of the team as well as the description of the individual armour that each member wore. She did this in addition to creating the team’s logo, the team’s internal structure and other items on the wiki page. Her last major project was to lead a team of Galereans in the Arconan Fleet reboot for the Galeres’ mothership, the Bothan Assault Cruiser Darkest Night. This project saw Inarya completely rehaul the wiki page, creating a massively in-depth wiki page for the vessel in addition to creating several NPCs with detailed wiki pages. This project also saw Inarya creating background for a new fighter squadron on the BAC and assisting two Journeymen of Galeres in creating 2 more squadrons and a CAG commander for the Darkest Night which greatly expanded the lore of the militant House of the Shadow Clan.

I mentioned it briefly earlier, but Inarya has most recently served as Flight Leader under Nath Voth, a new addition to the Galeres summit. She has worked hard to assist Nath and help her develop into a leader and giving her advice and help when needed.

Inarya has always been a member that I’ve tried to push further and harder than others to achieve the tasks and goals I knew she could and I’m proud to see that she’s done so well these past few months in securing the power and activity of Galeres. She has formed part of the core of active Equites that give so much of their time and effort to make the House the great place it is today. Without Inarya, I think Galeres would be a duller place and as such, I’m pleased to give this recommendation that she be promoted to Krath Archpriestess. Congratulations, Inarya.

Sanguinius Tsucyra Entar

Quaestor of House Galeres

I am honoured to be recommending Inarya for the promotion to Krath Archpriestess. She has been a beacon of activity inside of Clan Arcona and House Galeres. She has been an inspiration to everyone with her dedication to this Clan. Though Sanguinius has already summed up her activity, I am going to take a look at her as a person.

Inarya is always willing to help the members of her Clan, offering her assistance and support whenever anyone needs it. She always puts others before herself in any situation and offers support and advice to members who need help. Inarya has more importantly been taking the time to help teach a new Battleteam Leader the ropes, helping her improve and learn what is required of her. Though this has been no easy road, Inarya has continued to stick out with it helping this member grow as a leader inside of Clan Arcona. Sharing her wisdom and experience during this time.

Though this is not the only thing that Inarya has done since for members, she also takes the time to speak to everyone and make sure they are ok on real life as well, this is stepping up and above the place of a normal member and doing more than expected off her. She always pushes others to do their best even when they doubt their abilities. Her activity on its own speaks volumes about her, but taking into consideration everything else that she does on a day to day basis is also inspiring.

She continues to put out a lot of activity on a high scale, providing House Galeres and Arcona with a stable member who consistently performs highly. She drives not only herself but the others around her to be active as possible.

Her hard work and dedication to her clan has gone above the level of normal members. She has constantly proven herself time and time again. For these reasons I welcome Inarya to the rank of Krath Archpriestess. Congratulations, Inarya on your promotion and keep up the hard work inside of Clan Arcona.

Cethgus Tiberius Entar Arconae Aedile of House Galeres

Since I have known Inarya, she has been extremely active, always willing to help and give advice. When I have needed help she has always been there to help and supported me throughout my short time as BTL.

I have had the privilege of working with her on other projects as well such as the BAC Darkest Night. She has shown great skill as a teacher, showing others what is needed when creating different kinds of wiki pages from bios to squadrons. She has been extremely active since I have known her, participating in the Dark Crusade as well as other activities such as gaming, competitions and the Shadow Academy.

I am proud to have her not only as a member of Dark Forge but also as my Flight Leader. She is an amazing example to Arcona and always willing to give her time to not only learn but also teach others.

When I first met Kratus I was skeptical. No one could be so enthusiastic, so energetic, and so willing to participate. In my cynical mind, it could never happen. Oh how delightfully wrong I was.

Since joining Arcona, Kratus has been a boon to our activity. His drive is unmatched, his loyalty unquestionable and his passion and determination to succeed unfaltering. When he sets his mind to a task or a project, Kratus takes it head on and goes at 110 miles-an-hour to ensure said project reaches a forgone conclusion. In this circumstance, I will use the example of Kratus and the recent Arcona survey.

Austin (as he in known in Arconan circles) thought it would be conducive to Arcona's progression to bring forward a few problems with the way the clan was run. These problems had been voiced, both to him, and to others indirectly, but they were issues that were theretofore overlooked because no one knew there were any troubles to be had. He shouldered the responsibility himself, knowing it could well backfire and lead to his own alienation. Of course, the Arconan summit doesn't play that game, and after speaking with myself these issues were tabled. Most people at this point would then trust the summit to get on with rectifying these problems. Not Austin. No, he stayed with us, injecting his own ideas and his own beliefs as to how these problems could be rectified correctly. His suggestions won out over the suggestions of myself and Wally. In essence, he took the initiative to bring a problem to those that need to hear it. He then set about solving said problem using his own ideas and initiatives. He wasn't worried about stepping on toes, he just wanted results. I love that quality in an individual. It was for this reason he was given a position as a Magistrate to the Summit - the Shadow Clan Arbiter.

In this position, Kratus has worked tirelessly. He is a constant port of call for any member's problems and he acts as the clan's sounding board. Honestly, I sometimes question how we coped without him in his capacity as the Clan Arbiter, because he does what I can only describe to be the 'dirty' jobs. Any arguments, disputes or issues, Kratus steps in and mediates. Any fallouts, Kratus hears both sides of the story. He is a man-manager, and an extraordinarily good one at that. In this sense, he has no equal in leadership.

This short exposition into one of Austin's endeavours make seem shallow in light of this promotion, but I think it shines a light on who Austin is beyond the (rather extensive) list of merit medals and awards. For now, I will let my colleagues demonstrate his activity in breadth and depth. Me? I think it best to award people for their selflessness, their attributes as caring human beings, and for the time they have invested within the club. In my view, Austin is the personification of these three attributes. It is for this reason above all others that I endeavour to see him elevated to the rank of Obelisk Prelate.

Congratulations, Austin. You've more than earned it.

~Wuntila Arconae. Consul. Clan Arcona.

This is another promotion that has been a long time coming. Kratus has been a veritable avatar of activity these last few months and has a massively long list of medals awarded which I’ll go into detail below. Since his last promotion, Kratus has earned 3 Dark Crosses, 4 Anteian Crosses, 1 Steel Cross and 1 Grand Cross of the Dark Side, an impressive showing indeed for an Equite. It only serves to highlight his dedication to the Brotherhood and the sheer amount of time and effort he puts into his work and this club. Kratus has also earned other shinies in the form of 1 Gold Nova, 2 Silver Novae, 3 Crescents with Topaz stars, 3 Crescents with Quartz stars, 11 Crescents with Emerald stars, 4 Crescents with Sapphire stars, 1 Crescent with Amethyst star, 1 Crescent with Ruby star, 1 Legion of Scholar, 68 Clusters of Fire, 10 Clusters of Ice, 3 Seals of Bone, 1 Dark Side Scroll, 1 Seal of Defiance, 3 Seals of Return and 17 Seals of Decimation. That really is a massively impressive activity list from an Equite which when you’re looking at it, makes your mind boggle. But that’s not all Kratus has done since his last promotion. Nope! Before joining Arcona, he served as Aedile of House Reinthaler in Clan Tarentum, where he worked with the Quaestor to develop the House’s ongoing background fiction, and worked with the Battleteam leaders in order to make their BTs unique, interesting and successful. Before that, he served as Battleteam Leader for Black Phoenix, where he created a brand new lore/fictional background for a new team and for Spectre, where he reformed the team. He has most recently served as Clan Arbiter, an ombudsman for the membership to approach when they have issues/concerns with the Summit that they feel afraid to voice. Kratus has performed superbly in this role, assisting the membership in making their time here enjoyable. His input has made Arcona a better place, allowing the Summit to realise that certain ideas and moves were not so popular and thus, Arcona is now a place where the members rule supreme.

Kratus has been an active member of the ACC before it shut to be revamped, participating in several matches against prominent members of the DB, scoring wins against Koryn Thraagus, Cethgus Entar and narrowly losing to Thran Occasus. He also gave me a run for my money, forcing me to up my game in order to beat him.

But back to projects, since joining Arcona, Kratus has been one of my favourite stalwarts. He has jumped at every opportunity to develop the House’s lore. I gave him the chance to develop Eldar, Galeres’ homeworld, which lacked a lot of information on the geography, structure, inhabitants and was clearly out of date. Kratus worked on his own initiative and created what Muz affectionately dubbed Space Samurai 2.0. Otherwise known as the Kadean Confederacy and the Shogunate. Austin as I often call him on irc, developed these two nations and expanded them into fully realised and functional lore which I intend to draw upon in future competitions, events and reports. He also revamped Starscream Tactical Solutions, a private military company that was Galeres’ front that was left over from my predecessor’s work and turned it into SCEPTER, a name coined by one of the Journeyman of Galeres in a competition. As well as fixing the wiki page of Kursk’ranak, the military base that Arcona’s special forces are trained at and Galeres is based, updating and expanding on the article.

Austin also created a brand new capital city for Eldar, by the name of Shihon, writing a new wiki page for it that is full of detail and is absolutely spellbinding. Which only serves to once again show off Kratus’ talent and creativity. His final piece of work for Galeres was to create a NPC by the name of Hitoshi Feng, the current Shogun who rules a large part of the planet. Hitoshi will be featuring heavily in future Galeres fictional updates. Austin truly has had a massive impact on Galeres which I am so glad for it to be so.

Kratus has participated in several events during his time in Arcona, participating in the Family Feud that rocked the Clan, the Trials of Loyalty event, the Rite of Supremacy, Horizons, Beyond Horizons, and participated in 10/11 events so far in Dark Crusade, producing quality entries at every opportunity. Every time there is something going on, or something needs doing, Kratus is the first to volunteer and give his hard earned time to Galeres, Arcona and the Brotherhood. An attitude that I wish more Equites had.

I owe Austin a lot for the work he has done for Galeres, as do many other members. Without him, the lore of the militant House would not be so rich and vibrant, nor would my term as Quaestor have been so successful. This promotion has been a long time coming and I’m so pleased to see it through, as such, I recommend that Kratus Vahillus be promoted to Obelisk Prelate. Congratulations, Kratus. You earned this with your hard work, sweat and toil.

Sanguinius Tsucyra Entar

Quaestor of House Galeres

I am proud to be recommending Kratus for the promotion to the rank of Obelisk Prelate. This promotion has been a long time coming for him. Since moving to Clan Arcona he has been a constant beacon of activity, pushing himself to strive for the very best of his abilities. Kratus has excelled at whatever he does, doesn't matter if he is a member or a leader, the constant level of activity that comes from him is outstanding.

Kratus is a member who goes above the standard situation, caring for members inside of Clan Arcona. He is always offering his help to young and old members alike, continuing to make sure they are enjoying their time not only in the Dark Brotherhood but also in Clan Arcona and House Galeres. He can often be found trying to help resolve the issues of members and help them to learn anything they don’t understand.

Though he has also been extremely active inside of competitions in Clan Arcona and also in the Dark Crusade, helping Arcona to keep up the level of activity that it is constantly producing the results we have got so far. He also drives himself hard, providing a motivational role model for the members around him, making them continue to work as hard as they can. I could continue to go on about Kratus, but I believe Sanguinius has already gone into detail about his activity.

For all of the reasons above I feel that Kratus deserve this promotion to the rank of Obelisk Prelate, he continues to push himself harder and is truly a dedicated member of House Galeres and Clan Arcona. Congratulations on your promotion Kratus, keep up the hard work and I look forward to seeing what you produce in the future.

Primary reason

Many members are active, but few go on to set the standard for activity at their level. Kalon was one of those few. From humble beginnings within the clan, Kalon made huge strides in his early years until he hit DJK, at which point he began serving successfully as a battleteam leader on the Arconan summit.

I have known Kalon both in a leadership capacity, and as a member - in both circumstances I have been nothing short of amazed by his ability to meet any challenge with a smile, and his willingness to devote himself entirely to our clan. His activity speaks volumes about what he has achieved and what he will - I'm sure - achieve in the future. I'll let the Quaestor and Aedile of House Galeres develop upon that a little later. For now, I just want to say congratulations.

Kalon has been a fantastic member of Arcona for some time now. He never ceases to amaze and astonish. Even during his exam period he tried to remain active, even if it was only an entry here or there, or just an hour on IRC. Then he came back and demonstrated what a dash of talent and a lot of drive can produce.

Well done, Kalon. This promotion's been a long time in the making. You've earned it. Keep it up, champ.

~Wuntila Arconae. Consul. Clan Arcona.

I am honoured to be requesting Kalon for promotion to the rank of Sith Warrior. He is a dedicated and active member of not only House Galeres, but also of Clan Arcona. Driving himself to a high and constant level of activity since reaching the rank of Dark Jedi Knight. In the time since his last promotion, Kalon has already managed to rack up an impressive medal list. He has achieved a Steel Cross, two Anteian Crosses and two Dark Crosses, all of which have been earned by his hard work and devotion to the Brotherhood. He has also been active in competitions, earning himself two Crescents with Emerald Stars as well as two Crescents with Amethyst Stars. He has also earned himself four Clusters of Ice and one seal of Affliction.

Kalon has not only earned a very impressive amount of Merit Medals, but he has continued to be an active part of this House, taking part in many different events as such he has managed to rack out an impressive amount of entries into competitions: Beyond the Horizon: A Cooperative Event, Arcona/Plagueis Graphics, [BTH - Week 1] Initialisation (Acronym), [BTH - Week 1] Trivia, [BTH - Week 1] Flash Game, [BTH - Weeks 1 & 2] Run-On, [BTH - Week 1] Poetry, [Horizons] Run-On (The Rising of the Tide), Dozen of Grames - Final Round, [DGM] Quick & Easy #7, Dozen of Games - Spring 2012, Void Squadron Trivia, Most Improved Family Feud Wiki as well as smashing out the following competitions for the first and second phase of Dark Crusade: Run-On Avenger 2, Ancient Stone, Cryptography 101, Graphics – Jev Sunrider, Advanced Recon, Run-On The Betrayer’s Headstone, My Enemy my Friend, Cryptography 201.

Though he has been constantly active, he has never stopped to further his training. He continues to do this by taking exams. He has completed the Freighters/Transports Studies exam, as well as Cryptography 101 and Cryptography 201. He also currently has a student who he is pushing to work hard and move up the ranks of Journeymen. Teaching another member of the Brotherhood is another stage that requires time and patience to teach them everything about the Brotherhood.

Aside from all of the above Kalon has served as a leader inside of Arcona, taking on the position of Sith Commander of Void Squadron. He served Arcona in the position for twenty one weeks and three days. During this period he made the activity of the team to be one of a high standard, making sure that anyone under his command was well looked after. If a member had an issue Kalon would do his very best to sort this out quickly and efficiently with as little hassle as possible. He has motivated them to do their best giving them focus and direction during his time as the leader of the team.

Though he has motivated them he has also gone one step further in the position of Battleteam Leader. He has developed the team fictionally as well making its mark inside of Qel-Droma during this time. He has never stopped being an active member of Arcona, and since his switch from Qel-Droma to Galeres, I have heard nothing but how helpful he is from his Battleteam Leader, and of course he always gives this House and Clan 110%.

I am honoured to be welcoming Kalon finally into the ranks of the Equites. This first step is one that not many members make but he has given his all to this club, and is deserving of this rank. Kalon, thank you for your hard work, devotion and dedication to Clan Arcona and House Galeres. Cethgus Tiberius Entar Arconae

Aedile of House Galeres

Yay, Kalon! Right, now that I’ve gotten that out of the way, I’d like to talk about how Kalon has affected Galeres, Arcona and helped his fellow members. Kalon has been a boon to the Shadow Clan ever since he joined us as a little Apprentice. I won’t lie, I took on Kalon as an apprentice hesitantly. He was my first student and I had no idea what I was doing. But Kalon put up with me and my mistakes. He made me a more mature person. There I was, teaching someone else about the Brotherhood and helping them up through the ranks when only months earlier, I had been in his shoes. He stuck through me through thick and thin and our master/student relationship turned into a real friendship. Jarak is a friend through and through and has time for everyone, regardless of how busy he is or whether he has things going on in rl. He has taken a lot of stick from his fellow Arconans on irc, getting stuck into the banter that the Shadow Clan is infamous for and has still come through it successfully and is now quite a beloved figure within the Clan, despite what he may think.

Jarak is one of those members who sits quietly on irc and then shows how much he loves the DB by sending in entry after entry into events, despite things going on in rl that another person would think, why bother participating? His dedication to Arcona is an example to other members, especially Journeymen. I would consider Kalon a role model for the new members, despite not being an older member. He has a mature outlook and knows when to have a laugh and when to be serious. Too often at work, I deal with people who despite being older than the rest of the group, are often the most immature. Too often, it is the younger ones who are the most mature and Kalon is just such a person. His reliability has been proven time and time again and his student, Anduriel has thrived and grown in the Brotherhood through his contact with Kalon.

As such, I recommend that Kalon be promoted to Sith Warrior

I am so pleased that my little student is all grown up and has entered the ranks of the Equites. Welcome to the brotherhood within the Brotherhood, Kalon. Congratulations, you’ve earned it.

Sanguinius Tsucyra Entar

Quaestor of House Galeres

Since joining Dark Forge Kalon has been an active member of the team, he has been a wonderful example of activity for House Galeres and Clan Arcona, having completed exams, competitions, wiki work as well as participating in the Dark Crusade.

Most recently he took time from his Collage work to participate in the most recent phase of the Dark Crusade. Having participated in: the Run On, Fiction, and the Shadow Academy exam. Taking time from his real life commitments to actively participate and support House Galeres and Clan Arcona.

He has shown a willingness to help others in his team and Clan, as well as working hard to help the Clan develop. He has also collected an impressive number of awards and participated in competitions since his last promotion.

Kalon has shown continuous activity since his last promotion and has shown willingness to share his knowledge from his own experiences as a Battleteam Leader to teach others. He is always willing to help and is often in the vanguard when there are activities that need to be completed.

I am proud to be giving this rec as Kalon as a strong member willing to help and participate in activities. I am proud to have Kalon in Dark Forge, he is a dedicated member who deserves this promotion.

I am honoured to be recommending Mordamen Bast for the promotion to the rank of Acolyte. Since his last promotion, he has completed all of the tasks set by the MAA Office, and continues to be a beacon of activity inside of Clan Arcona and House Galeres.

Mordamen has signed up to the Brotherhood’s forum, expanding his ability to communicate via that medium. So far, he has also used the forum to take part in one competition known as: Sentence Run-on. While he continues daily to expand his understanding of the club, he has also taken his time to get to know members from the same clan. He has also logged into IRC and visited the channel #Arcona, speaking to many other members of the clan getting to know his clanmates and putting his input into the channel. Mordamen has also been expanding his knowledge of the Brotherhood as a whole, by taking the Brotherhood Basics exam.

Overall, Mordamen has been a highly active and driven member since joining Clan Arcona and House Galeres. His hard work and drive has seen him take yet another step up the Journeymen ladder. Congratulations on the promotion to the rank of Acolyte, Mordamen, keep up the hard work.
