Event History

The female sat in almost darkness. Her black booted feet rested on the high table in front her. Amber eyes cut through the gloom like fireflies. A thick veil of smoke circled in the stagnant air. Hissing broke the silence and the smoke that caused a mist around her was sucked out of the broken seal. The sound was shortly followed by the appearance of two men in the doorway. Both hooded, one taller than the other... and wider.

“Come in why don’t you , have a seat?” displeasure of their arrival was clear in her voice.

“Your student,” The shorter male spoke first looking around his surrounding like something would jump out and bite him. “She has made quite an impact in the last few months. What with the recent action in the crusade. And not to mention that nasty accident that happened to her former master. I heard that made quite a mess.”

“Well, he had many enemies. Besides she wouldn’t have had the to strength to carry out such a violent act.” Inarya didn’t move from her position just watched the man as he walked around the room.

“She’d have the strength if she had an accomplice,” the taller man spoke up, his eyes fixed on the seated female.

“Cethgus, you hated him just as much as I did. More actually. So the question should be, ‘Did she have an accomplice’” their eyes fixated to each others.

“That isn’t what we have come here discuss. I, as Quaestor deem that she has proved herself worthy of elevation.” The news came as much of a shock to the Twi’lek and it did the Zabrak.

“Sanguinius, are you sure she is ready?”

“Quite sure. I believe her actions have spoken in volumes. Even I must admit the recent...departure of her former master was quite convenient. But she has shown a great deal of loyalty to Arcona, and done her new Master proud.”

“Thank you sir. I try my best with what is given to me,” The crimson skinned alien bowed her head slightly.

“Now would to care to summon her to the Throne Room?”

Inarya slipped her feet on the side of her desk and got to her feet. Her long nailed hand wrapped around a small metal comm device. “K’Tana. Throne Room. Now”. The device hardly had time to register a response before being thrown back to its place on the table.

The Twi’lek stood before the the crackling flames of the Serpentine Throne. It was the Jedi Hunters first time she had been called into the heart of the Citadel to stand before her Summit.

Standing in front of the throne, protected through a veil of azure flames, the hulking body of Consul Wuntila Arconae looked down at the former slave turned Dark Jedi. At his side, Marick Arconae stood quietly with his hands clasped casually behind his back. Also assembled were the members of House Galeres Summit; Sanguinius and Cethgus Entar. Most importantly her new master, Inarya took a step forward, holding in her hands something wrapped in a cloth.

Wuntila’s hand rose into the air.

K’tana dropped to a knee, bowing her head forward, eyes cast at her Consuls feet as she had been told.

“Through fire and through blood, you have proven yourself a member of Clan Arcona. You’ve overcome obstacles that most never have to face. You have earned the right to carry a lightsaber, and to join Arcona as a Dark Jedi Knight.”

K’tana’s head snapped upward, her face twisted in a rare shock. She had been sure she had been brought in for disciplinary reasons. She had figured it had to do with the graphic “artwork” she had added to Cethgus’ office compliments of spray-paint. She hadn’t expected this.

“T-thank you, your excellency,” she said quickly.

Wuntila merely nodded and motioned Inarya forward. The crimson Twi’lek crossed the dias and approached her student. unwrapping the cloth, she held out a set of components that included a crystal, a focus ring, and a cylindrical piece of metal.

“Arcona Invicta,” Wuntila proclaims slowly, his voice filling the throne room.

“Arcona Invicta!” All gathered replied in response.

I am delighted to declare that K’tana is now eligible for promotion to the coveted rank of Dark Jedi Knight. She has worked very hard over the past four months and has proven herself worthy of this reward.

Firstly, she has designed her own character’s Wiki page to a point that it can be classed as ‘quality’. This shows she has a keen eye for both character development as well as Wiki work. To further her character development, Kat has also completed a ten page character fiction.

She has also held the rank of Jedi Hunter for the required 42 days.

K’tana has also proven herself to be incredibly active when it comes to competitions, completing the Dark Crusade Prologue run-on, as well as the Advanced Recon fiction, the ‘Betrayer’s Headstone’ fiction, the Rhelg & Krayiss II ‘encryption’ events, the ‘My Friend, My Enemy’ fiction. In addition to these Dark Crusade events, she completed Six For Ten, Call Your Banners, Strippers are people too, A Dark Jedi on Earth, Dirty Dozen and Man That Guy is a... in the Independence Games. She also took part in ‘This is my sword’, ‘The Great Hunt’ and the Arcona Sentence Run-on. Taking part in such varying competitions show she is a well rounded, active member. She also placed in the ‘This is my sword’ event.

Kat has also obtained the requisite merit medal, earning herself not one, but two Dark Crosses during her career in the Brotherhood, proving her activity is recognised and rewarded as being above and beyond the average expectation.K’tana has also passed both Leadership exams required for her promotion.Finally, she has completed her summit task, which was to refurbish the Wiki pages relating to the BAC Darkest Night, the command ship of House Galeres.

I am delighted for K’’Tana be elevated to the rank of Dark Jedi Knight. She has been a delight to work with and to have as a student, she is constantly motivated as well as having a passion for the Brotherhood and Clan Arcona. I have never meet a person that is more deserving of this rank, her hard work is a testament to her skill and activity. I am honoured to have been her master and to have had to opportunity to have worked so closely with her in order to get her Dark Jedi Knight has been a privilege and a pleasure. It is rare occurrence to have a student that is so willing to work without any need for motivation and to work almost completely off their own back. I can see K’Tana doing great things in the future, both inside Clan Arcona and the Dark Jedi Brotherhood as a whole. She has a great amount of determination and potential which will see her accomplice anything that she sets her mind to and I know she will keep working to her fullest throughout her time inside the Brotherhood. I am very much looking forward to the day the we she her being welcoming to the ranks of the Equite.

Once again I would like to say what a honour it has been working with you over these last few months. I wish you all the best in your future endeavours but look forward to the the day we see you become an Equite.

I am honoured to be recommending K’tana for her promotion to the rank of Dark Jedi Knight. She has finally made it to this huge milestone through constant activity within Clan Arcona and House Galeres. Though Andrelious has stated what she has done, I want to take the time to talk about K’tana as a member.

Since she joined the house she has always been eager to get involved, over the top but still a pleasant presence on IRC, putting her own opinion in on the development of team and house matters. She has also been a beacon of activity inside of her team, trying to help the new members get themselves involved and active.

She is constantly in touch with the members above her even myself, talking on a daily basis always wanting more things to do. Trying to continuously improve the House and Clan in anyway she can. Though it is the development she has put in to the House, her outstanding work has helped develope her into a fine new member of the Brotherhood.

I am proud to see another member of Clan Arcona and House Galeres step up and achieve the rank of Dark Jedi Knight. Congratulations K’tana its been a long road but you finally made it, I look forward to seeing what the future holds for you.

He has begun work on his character's wiki article and he has visited the official house IRC channel. He has also completed numerous Shadow Academy courses, including (but not limited to): Philosophy I, Grammar, Run-on, Poetry, and Wiki Basics.

Ernordeth has also been extremely active in competitions, having participated in several Independence Games events. These include, but are not limited to, Angry the Birdies, Six for Ten, and Caption Combat.

I am pleased to announce that S`nar Que Seshai is now eligible for promotion to Protector. He has only been a member of the Brotherhood for a matter of days and yet he continues to be impressive with his sheer level of enthusiasm and activity.

He has been a frequent user and chatter in #arcona, allowing him to expand his social network and meet new Arconan friends all the time.

He has also proven himself to be ready at taking on the Antei Combat Centre, having both got himself an approved character sheet and having passed ACC basics with a score of 85%. He has also started well in terms of competitions, managing to take part in an impressive three Indepedence Games events in as many days.

Finally, he has shown an interest in starting to develop his character, as he has started to work on his character’s Wiki page.

Ernordeth has been exceptionally active since joining Tarentum. He's only been with us a couple of short days, and has already shown more activity than I could ever hope for with someone fresh from the Shadow Academy.

He has already participated in 5 different events for the Independence Games that I am aware of (via email, due to an issue with his dossier not being ported over to the staging site, which James has already rectified), passed 6 SA courses and earned a Dark Maven in Philosophy. Not to mention being awarded an Anteian Cross by the Headmaster himself for his efforts there.

Needless to say, Ernordeth has far surpassed the basic requirements for promotion to Acolyte, and it would be my honor to recommend him for his second promotion of the day.

I am honoured to be recommending Riverche for her promotion to the rank of Guaridan. Since her last promotion she has continued to be a beacon of activity inside of Galeres completing all requirements set forth by the Master at Arms Office.

Since her last promotion she has logged into the IRC clan channel on a regular basis and been constantly active and speaking with fellow members of her Clan, voicing her opinions and interacting with them on a regular basis. As well as expanding her knowledge of her own Order by passing the Krath Core Exam. Ontop of this she has taken the time to participate in a total of five competitions as follows: [Crusade - Rhelg] Advanced Recon, [Crusade - Rhelg] Training Encryption, [What can you do with a bucket of paint? (Short), [Online Mission (Short), URL Hunt (Medium)

Through her hard work and dedication not only to House Galeres but Clan Arcona saw her earn a Dark Cross.Riverche has expanded her abilities inside of the Brotherhood, taking part in gaming recently and earning herself fifteen clusters of fire and passing the GMRG Exam. Also taking the time to learn about the Antei Combat Center as well by completing the ACC Basics exam and creating an approved characters sheet.

Overall she has been a highly active and devoted member of House Galeres and Clan Arcona. I am proud to see her today take another step up the Journeyman ladder. Congratulations Guardian Riverche, keep up the hard work and I look forward to seeing what you do in the future.

Morrighan wandered down the dark dingy corridor towards the Galeres summit room, the door closed shut bearing the seal of the House. She paused before it, her eyes tracing around the logo as the door swung open slowly as the pitch black room was visible to the Jedi Hunter.

“Enter Morrighan,” the voice cold as steel as it echoed out of the room in the direction of the Journeywoman.

Taking a slow step into the unknown the darkness and the shadows, the door swung shut at that moment in time. A circular light shone onto the Journeywoman, showing her to the members of the Summit. The black and white figure stepped out from the darkness, his eyes piercing into her soul as he stared at her.

“You have travelled a long path to be here today in front of us.” His voice cold as he spoke to her.

From either side of him stepped out the two Battleteam Leaders of Galeres, silent and watching the female. Finally stepping into light, the Quaestor of Galeres, Sanguinius, his presence dominating all others.

“You have faced challenges above and beyond normal, walked the trail of Darkness and stand before us today ready to have your achievements acknowledged.” his voice sharp like a knife and straight to the point.

“Kneel before us, Jedi Hunter Morrighan.” Cethgus watched as the female slumped down in front of the Summit.

“You represent House Galeres and Clan Arcona, you fight for our cause, you serve our purpose, you extend your knowledge, when you rise you will be a Knight of Arcona” Sanguinius spoke the words to the woman.

Slowly she stood before the Summit and their heads tilted slightly towards the new Dark Jedi Knight as they acknowledged her. Her path and destiny now lay in her own hands, whatever came next, she would have to create.

I am delighted to declare that Jedi Hunter Morrighan is now eligible for promotion to the coveted rank of Dark Jedi Knight. Since his return to Galeres, only a few short days ago, he has set an excellent example to follow for new and old members alike.

Firstly, he has completed an excellent quality article, that being his own character’s page. He has also obtained not one but two Shadow Academy degrees, these being the Philosophy and History degrees. He has also passed both SA leadership exams, passing Leadership Fundamentals with an impressive 94%.

In addition to this already excellent list of activity, Morrighan has so far completed no less than fifteen Independence Games events, these being Toribashin’ It Up, Climb!, Titan Throw, As the Light fades from your eyes, Death Star, Tractor Beam, X-wing, Strippers are people too, Exodus Scramble, who said that?, Online Mission, Inspiration on Bald Mountain, Six for Ten, Dirty Dozen, Caption Combat, Acronym Fun and what they REALLY should have said. This is in addition to seven previous competitions. He has also run the ‘This is Halloween’ competition, showing he is capable of both running and taking part in important Brotherhood activities.

Morrighan has also secured both the necessary merit medal, a Dark Cross, as well as multiple crescents.

Finally, he has completed both the 42-day requirement and his final major summit task, which was to design summit report banners.

I am honoured today to be recommending Morrighan for the rank of Dark Jedi Knight. Since he recently come back to House Galeres and Clan Arcona he has been a beacon of activity. In the short space of time he has been nothing but an exemplary member.

He has been active and integrated himself with other members of the Clan and House. Showing his willingness to get back into the swing of the Brotherhood as a whole. He has come back and jumped straight into the deep end during the Independent Games and smashed out an impressive sixteen competitions in such a short time frame.

Talking to him personally he has a sense of pride in everything that he does, taking time and effort in anything he starts and sees it through to the end. Though I know that others that speak to him find his company pleasant and always willing to help others. He puts others before himself and tries to offer any help that he can. This includes myself on multiple occasions he has offered to help though I have not asked for any he can still offer his assistance.

Though it has taken him a while to come back to the Brotherhood, he has proven himself worthy of this promotion. Completing all requirements that were remaining with speed and efficiency. Congratulations on making it to the rank of Dark Jedi Knight, I look forward to seeing what you do in the future.

Well, I’d be honoured to recommend Morrighan too, but hell...I think he’d be sick of hearing how honoured people are. :P Morrighan has recently returned to Galeres from the Rogues and quite rapidly completed the tasks needed to be promoted to Dark Jedi Knight. I’ll mention Morrighan’s Summit Task, his summit task was to provide myself and Cethgus with banners to use in our reports because we’re both quite hopeless at graphics. I approached Morrighan, who admitted that he was only a beginner with photoshop. However, he agreed to the task and set about it with gusto. The bloke put a lot of effort into it and took a lot of critiquing from myself, but he stuck with it and didn’t tell me to bugger off. In short, he created 10 individual graphics that myself and Cethgus will now use in our reports, benefitting his House and his Summit. My fellow Summiteers have gone into more detail about what he’s done and how amazing he is, so I’ll just say this.

I am glad that I have members of Morrighan’s calibre in Galeres, those that aren’t afraid of trying new things, getting stuck in and helping their Summit. I can only hope that we gain more members like him in the future.

Sanguinius Tsucyra Entar Quaestor of House Galeres

Since becoming our Aedile on November 2, 2011, he has received an Anteian Cross for his previous work in GJW X and a Dark Cross for a wiki article. Since becoming our Quaestor on May 14, 2012, he has received a Dark Cross for submitting a Question to the GM. More recently, he has received a Seal of Loyalty for his efforts, but after 1 1/2 years of leading our House, I am surprised to see such a quality leader be unrewarded for his efforts and I am grateful he hasn’t faltered in his duties because of this.

Drodik is a fantastic leader. He approaches every situation with a calm and level head, and is always seeking a constructive outcome. In addition to the usual day to day trials of managing an underdog House and being an Aedile and Quaestor for the past sixteen months, he works frequently with the higher ups towards our point of view in GJW X, Horizons and the Dark Crusade, so that Dark Jedi events can be presented to us in a palatable and even enjoyable manner for the Lightsiders. He has also: spearheaded the design and conceptualization of our House fiction, including the Pillars of Menat and Bastions of Knowledge plotlines, both behind the scenes with Morotheri and in his regular reports and the occasional extra contribution (such as launching the Jedi Vocational Corps, below); provided all of the oversight, coordination and some of the material for our Order of Battle defence forces; provided us with 22 competitions for the House; tutored an apprentice, Alexander DelGotto, in to a strong Jedi Knight; and more generally, is always present to provide us with guidance and motivation and ensures that the right people are in the right places. He runs his House openly and transparently, sharing and seeking opinions from us as much as we seek from him. He is always available for a chat about the House’s direction and our roles in the Summit, whether over IRC or email, regardless of the time of day, and while he always gives the best advice he doesn’t overstep that line between dictator and navigator. He has his eye on the House’s future, a solid plan to get us there, and he puts great efforts towards the goal of one day becoming a Clan.

He has helped refine our own ideas, such as Raiju’s philosophical divide; he provides regular contact and support through countless personal emails to his members and his Summit; he constantly works with us all to develop the House as a team. He has more recently integrated other ideas into the House's future, being one of the main drivers to integrate the Dark Crusade into our fiction and purpose, and working closely with the battleteam leaders to ensure the "Strike Teams" are highly-functioning Houses within the House.

He came up with the concept and oversaw the design of the Jedi Vocational Corps (JVC) project, a Google Docs form that provides an endless supply of randomly generated competition prompts for gaming, fiction, wiki and graphics in a tiered format that awards fictional standing in the House to those who complete sufficient numbers of prompts and has made a tremendous amount of contributions and provided a lot of assistance to the behind the scenes side of this project, which requires constant maintenance to supply prompt ideas, fictional outlines, and on some of the larger prompts, full-scale briefings that stretch for a couple of pages. He regularly grades submissions and tracks participation and fictional standing in the JVC system as well. He has come up with and taken charge of a 14 page proposal for the new orders of the Light Side, to be integrated in to the new DJB site. He leads discussions and feedback on this matter with Ood and his Summit, taking a keen interest in our feedback on this complex and innovative project as it continues to be molded into something we can all enjoy once the new site goes live.

He created and regularly maintains our House website at http://odanurr.wordpress.com/ and he regularly assists with Rollmaster duties, stepping in and contacting members and administrating our Googlegroup before my Aussie self wakes up. He even takes the time to participate in headline competitions, leading by example in the Dark Crusades (1 recorded event in phase 1, participation in the Khar Delba runon of phase 2) and Horizons (3 events). He has also helped organize the House Feud "New Horizons" between Odan-Urr and Tarentum in December.

I have seen a lot of Quaestors in my time, and been a few myself, and his passion for Odan-Urr is tangible, his commitment and assistance invaluable, and his dedication unwavering. Through his years of hard work and dedication, High Councillor Drodik Va’lence al’Tor stands as the lifeblood of House Odan-Urr. His skills in leadership, understanding, planning and execution of his ideas make him a pure example of what any leader strives to be. He is both charismatic and benevolent, always willing to lend a hand where he is able. During the time I got to know him as both his fellow Aedile and Rollmaster, Drodik has always led by example, every event and every idea is carried out with determination to the purest quality, leaving no detail unpolished. His work on the planning, and eventual execution of implementing the Jedi Vocational Corps proves this, as does his current work with planning out the eventual light-side orders for the new site. As one who has worked with him for over a year, I can accurately say that his work in planning out his ideas on various word documents is so full of detail and specifics that it is nearly enough to fill the pages of a small novel. His dedication towards his house and its members show his selflessness in a very Jedi-like way as he strives to see others towards advancement. He is a trusted individual who I value greatly as both a friend and comrade who is always willing to place his own goals aside for the betterment of others. Having said this, I believe it is due time to grant High Councillor Drodik Va’lence al’Tor with something worthy of thanking him for his years of service during his many years as both Quaestor and Aedile. Running a house, or better yet an Independent House for that matter, is no small feat. Yet, Drodik makes it look effortless. He’s the kind of leader who is always calm, composed, and open to the membership. He is what others should strive to be when in a position. With one hand he provides guidance, mentorship and most importantly friendship to each of us in HOU while with the other hand he is pushing the house to a better place within this whole club. Whether it is coordinating our present efforts (such as in the Dark Crusades where he spoke to the group as a whole to work out run-on teams and event hype or individually to see what each person can do and how they are managing during the event), or he is looking to the future (planning new storylines/projects/events for the house after the Dark Crusades) Drodik has a stance of a leader who is just wanting the best for those around him. Therefore, it is my opinion, that he be recognized for his past efforts over the Dark Crusades so far. Not just for the participation he contributed, or the motivation he inspired, or the communication with our members he provided; but for all of this I believe Drodik needs to be recognized. ~Battleteam Leader Raiju Kang
