Since joining House Odan-Urr Kaira has been one our most esteemed members. She has constantly made herself available to instruct our newer members (and many have relied on her all the way up to DJK) yet still remains a bastion of personal activity, both on the house and Brotherhood scales. She has served the house faithfully in summit jobs, as a battleteam leader, and as a master and I can think of nobody in the house more deserving of a promotion than her. Since her last elevation more than two years ago, Kaira has earned herself an Amethyst Kukri for, as a Rollmaster, carrying a virtually summit-less House Odan-Urr through the Tenth Great Jedi War (even winning two Novae and participating in twenty-five events in the process), where we hung with Clan Naga Sadow and utterly destroyed three far older units. However coordinating massive Wiki articles and participating in everything she could was not the limit of her duties as Rollmaster. She also oversaw and tracked all house activity, ensuring nobody was left behind regarding promotions or medals. Additionally she has been awarded over a dozen crescents since joining the house, and took away a Seal of Loyalty for her absolute devotion to the Brotherhood's newer members. Ultimately that interest in training the next generation culminated in her apprentice Zeon Blacktooth reaching the rank of Dark Jedi Knight, always encouraged and supported by his master Kaira. Kaira Rohana is without a doubt amongst the cornerstones of House Odan-Urr. To say this member is an actively accomplished veteran would be an understatement in the extremes. Her unfailing loyalty to House and duty is and will not go overlooked. I am proud to write this recommendation for elevation because I believe this member embodies the true spirit of why people get into this club to begin with. Although having never really served higher than Rollmaster, Kaira does embody the 'everyman' of this club in proving that you do not have to be some leadership phenom or make a gargantuan contribution in order to be justly rewarded. It is her character attributes which speak volumes and are no more-so reflected in this her rapport with members within and outside of House Odan-Urr. Besides her widespread relations with other members Kaira was single-handedly the only active summit member during the Tenth Great Jedi War. She was a vital factor in keeping the house organized and motivated to participate. Under hers and others assistance, House Odan-Urr managed to beat the odds and claim fifth place beating out former clans Plagueis and Tarentum as well as a close run for fourth place with Naga Sadow. Her unwavering leadership and prescence within the house speaks volumes on her character. For all her hard work and dedication she was awarded an Amethyst Kukri, a sacramental award given only to those members who go above the call of duty. I would say that her being awarded the Amethyst Kukri speaks volumes on her. Not only is this member's qualities and unwavering spirit respected but so is her activity in the house. Since before I joined HOU Kaira was already known to be a dynamo of a member whose activity levels were off the charts. She is always a presence on IRC, ready to give advice, suggestions, and assist others. She is currently leading the battleteam the Lightwalkers and has participated in many Pillars of Menat competitions and placed in several others.I feel Kaira is ready to ascend the ranks and join the third tier of Equites. During my time in the Dark Jedi Brotherhood, Kaira Rohana has been an exemplary member of the club. Whether she was in Plagueis or Odan-Urr, she was always present and has always led by example. Kaira has been active in graphics, gaming, the ACC, run-ons, fiction, and any other type of activity that she can participate in. Furthermore, she has been active in every vendetta and feud that has come her way; the bigger the event, the greater her activity. This level of activity is further enhanced in my eyes due to the dyslexia that she refuses to allow to limit her. While Kaira is a very good battleteam leader, she has served as an even better rollmaster. In fact, if I am ever lucky enough to become a rollmaster, it is her example that I will hold myself to. Not only did she do the duties required of her, I can attest to her desire to expand the duties of that position. In my view, Kaira is the best rollmaster I have personally witnessed in action since I joined in late 2008. Most importantly, Kaira has been my best friend almost from day one. She has always been there for me whenever I need to vent, share news, or throw an idea at someone. I don't make friends very easily, especially over the Internet, yet I would not hesitate to call Kaira a true friend who I feel I can depend on. I feel that she is truly a special person with qualities that are all too rare in the DJB, and I am privileged to have her as a friend and housemate. Now that her student has clawed his way to Dark Jedi Knight, I can easily say that Kaira Rohana is both qualified and deserving of being promoted to the third level of the equite ranks. He has also fulfilled his normal tasks, placing in a competition, earning a merit award, taking a leadership course, creating and running a house competition, and completing his five pages of house-approved character fiction. <I>Jedi Hunter Kalon sat motionless, facing Dajorra's falling sun, eyes half-closed and straining to watch its dying rays.<BR><BR>  Upon the creation of his lightsaber, he had been brought here by the Consul,personally, to a circular dais atop Arcona Citadel on Selen. It was the first time he had been allowed to the Ziggurat's upper levels: the Holy of Holies of Clan Arcona, where its greatest secrets lay. And, he suspected, if he failed in his tasks, it might well be the last time.<BR><BR>  The last rays dipped beneath the horizon, and a final ray of light seemed to linger, just moments, on the Jedi Hunter's face.<BR><BR>  It had been an apparently easy task: Meditate, without calling upon the Dark Side, without food or drink, with the sun full in the sky, from dawn to dusk. The Consul had given a simple but forceful warning as the Jedi Hunter had set himself down for meditation: Failure to obey would be met with death. After that, the Clan's leader had requisitioned the Journeyman's lightsaber and left him to his own devices.  Darkness creeped forward as the sun finally disappeared, cloaking the Journeyman in shadow. Night had fallen.<BR><BR>  Wordlessly, the Jedi Hunter stood and turned around.  Figures, robed, with lightsabers in-hand, stood upon the ziggurat, apparently waiting. Kalon recognized many of them: Arconae, Summit and other luminaries, each important within the Clan. Still others stood silent and hooded, wordless and hidden. And before them all stood Wuntila Zratian Arconae, Lord of the Shadow Clan.<BR><BR>  "Jedi Hunter Kalon," intoned the Consul, "you have come before us seeking to be elevated, have you not?"<BR><BR>  Kalon nodded, eyes downcast. "I have, Master".<BR><BR> "Then understand that any hesitation, any disobedience, any defiance will result in death. Do you?"<BR><BR>  Again, the Jedi Hunter gave a nod, more cautiously this time. This elevation seemed unlike any other trial within the Clan…there was an unspecified sense that told him that his very life was at stake, here. Around, the gathered Arconans seemed to tense just slightly, and fingers hovered over an activation button. "I do, Master."<BR><BR>  "Very well then," said the Consul. "What makes you believe you are ready to become one of us?"<BR><BR>  An easy question, to begin with. "I have finished all tasks set before me by the Summit, and brought each to a good end."<BR><BR>  "Oh?" the Consul snarled, suddenly, as his face contorted with disgust. "You mean the construction of this trinket?"<BR><BR>  Wuntila reached within the folds of his robe, taking out a small cylinder.<BR><BR>  Kalon recognized it instantly. It was his lightsaber.<BR><BR>  The Jedi Hunter looked at the Consul, shocked. "Yes," he said weakly, as Wuntila weighed the weapon in his hand.<BR><BR>  The Consul snorted contemptuously, and tossed the weapon off the ziggurat without so much as another glance.<BR><BR>  "No!" Kalon screamed, heedless of protocol. There, tumbling through the air, was a work of months: Something that the Jedi Hunter had poured his heart, his soul, and all his skill with the Dark Side in to create. And it was about to be unceremoniously destroyed by another's hand. It felt like someone ripping out his heart.<BR><BR>  And suddenly, that void within his chest was filled with anger. And power.<BR><BR>  Kalon reached out a hand as fury spilled into his eyes and face, all propriety forgotten. The weapon abruptly reversed course, flashing to life before it had even finished settling in his hand. In a single, fluid motion, the Jedi Hunter ran through his Consul with the shimmering blade of his own making. <BR><BR> The Consul seemed puzzled for a moment, as he stared at the Journeyman. Then, a smile appeared on his face. "Very well," Arcona's ruler managed to get out, before collapsing into shadow. <BR><BR>  Kalon looked around, expecting the gathered Arconans to reach for him any moment now, but no such attack seemed forthcoming. Instead, the Arconae and Summit had their lightsabers still in-hand…but they appeared overall more relaxed, and some were even smiling. <BR><BR>  "Congratulations," a voice said. <BR><BR>  </I>But..no! That's impossible!<I> thought the Jedi Hunter, as one of the previously hooded figures removed said hood…only to show the face of Consul Wuntila Zratian Arconae. <BR><BR>  Then, comprehension dawned. </I>Of course. A Force Wraith.<I><BR><BR>  The Consul approached him, seemingly without fear or tension. "You have learned the final lesson of the Dark Side." <BR><BR>  " It's…about power, isn't it?" Kalon ventured. <BR><BR>  "It's </I>always<I>about power," the Consul replied, smiling slightly. "But yes. The final lesson is this: Power is never given away. It is always taken. If someone should block your path, strike him down. Even if that someone is me." <BR><BR>  The Jedi Hunter nodded, comprehension dawning. Around him, the gathered Arconans lit their weapons, one by one. Around the ziggurat itself, on lower levels, others responded in kind, until the night sky was lit by dozens of separate weapons. <BR><BR>  "So…what will it be?" Wuntila asked, bringing forth a lightsaber of his own. "Do you claim the mantle of the Dark Jedi Knight?" <BR><BR>  Kalon understood. Nodding slowly, he lit his lightsaber and raised it high.
